241  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: January 25, 2023, 08:13:32 AM

Is money the real root of all evil in today's society
If according to my conclusion that money does not cause evil, what causes evil is from the way of thinking that actually uses money and the heart of the user of money itself. Because money can be someone can give orders, want to be ordered to commit a crime can and can be ordered to do the right thing too. So what is wrong is not money or money is not the source of crime. The money wasn't wrong. What's wrong is the person using it.

244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge can it go 1$ on: January 24, 2023, 10:17:53 AM
Doge is indeed a potential coin meme, especially since Elon Musk's influence on doge is enormous. But we need to know that there are hundreds of coins/assets, but the chart is only one actually: Bitcoin has lots of fundamental & technical analysis results if it still depends on the price of bitcoin. Doge could reach $1 if bitcoin reaches a new ATH.

Investing in Doge needs to be considered again considering that the crypto market is not good right now and it will definitely be very difficult for Doge to be at $ 1.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise described as false bull on: January 23, 2023, 04:22:01 PM
For me the increase that occurred at the beginning of this year in January was not a fake bull because it was based on an increasing number of requests in the market so that Bitcoin increased slowly. Fake bulls can indeed be created by a group of people but I don't think that it is being created now because I think the increase now is a very clear and genuine thing from the demand that is in the market.

If indeed the Bitcoin boom thing is now to be dismissed as a sham, why is the price drop always considered to be so genuine? Meanwhile, decreases and increases always occur in the market over time every year. So it wouldn't be logical for upgrades to be seen as fake now even though some people already think it's fake, but I don't care what other people think of this.
It makes sense to your opinion, why when bitcoin rises to be considered a bull fake while when Bitcoin has decreased not considered a fake bull.
I analyze Elliot Wave on Weekly and there is a probability of bitcoin still to $ 25k - $ 30k to finish Wave 4 and dump again to complete Wave 5. If according to the Bitcoin scenario it will still rise until the early February.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 22, 2023, 06:52:39 PM
"Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin" this question was asked by a friend

My reply to her is this:
It is generally not advisable to take out a loan to purchase Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and the value of a particular coin can fluctuate greatly in a short period of time. This means that the value of the coin you purchase with a loan could drop, making it difficult to repay the loan. It is important to do your own research and make sure you understand the risks before investing in any financial product, including Bitcoin.

What is your advice?
Taking a loan to invest and hoping to get a profit in a short time I think it's a bad idea. I used to make a decision like that, as a result of being tempted by the profit my friend got, I finally borrowed money to invest, long story short I suffered a loss and I also had to pay off my debt. It was a bad decision since I first became acquainted with crypto with no market reading knowledge.

Maybe from my story you can draw your own conclusions, let alone investing with very minimal investment knowledge is very fatal for you.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 22, 2023, 06:26:21 PM
Hi friends, I am still on the matter of helping a friend who wants to build his own gambling project, the question of the day is about KYC verification, why are popular crypto gambling platforms are not KYC verified themselves? I mean the team behind the online casino why are they not KYC verified and they ask for KYC instead?
As a business online Casino should make it subject to KYC regulations because it's about the customer's money. So that customers can reduce the level of fraud on the casino platform and also try to build customer trust in Online Casino services. Because it is important, there are many issues of corporate fraud that do not have a license.

Actually Making KYC good for Online Casinos is, in fact, increasingly important for casinos to integrate to stay ahead.

248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: January 22, 2023, 05:29:00 PM
Are we now on crypto bull run or this yet to be go down futher more down than 15500?
The crypto market seems to be stabilizing, Although there is a possibility this is a bull trap every trader has. For many that witnessed a downturn throughout 2022 that culminated in the FTX bankruptcy. and very lucky for those who managed to get under $ 20k But, fortunately the crypto market is now starting to rise from the slump we hope that in 2023 it will start getting better again.

I think it's still difficult to say this is a bull run because it's still early to see the market hasn't grown too big, maybe after Q2 has passed.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 21, 2023, 01:58:21 PM
we all know no one can controls the bitcoin price because bitcoin isn't like bank, stock and valas. but if the whales owned 51% of bitcoin, can do it?. if happen, does decentralization not exist?
If you think that whales only have one person to control prices, it seems impossible, let alone having 51%. Because if only 1 whale does this, the price is guaranteed to have no effect. Pump and dump involves many parties, only then can it be carried out.

Maybe you mean a group of whales. if so maybe several whales work together, using a communication medium such as a group, to do a pump and dump. The whales will pump and dump at a predetermined time, which has previously been announced in their group. All whales in the group follow the instructions from the whales to do instant buys simultaneously so they can increase prices quickly. After the target is reached, they will immediately sell to dump the price. This is just my opinion only
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 21, 2023, 01:42:30 PM
I have 2 motorbikes at home, but what I always use is only 1 motorbike, and 1 motorbike is rarely used, and indeed the motorbike is also old, and if it is sold it won't be too expensive, and I decided to sell the motorbike, because in my opinion the price of the motorbike will definitely fall over time,
(affected by inflation). and the money from the sale of the motorbike I will use to buy bitcoin. because in my opinion the price of bitcoin in the future will definitely rise. and also currently the market is bear, so this is a good opportunity to buy bitcoins. and I want to ask everyone, the decision I made, namely selling the motorbike and the money to buy bitcoin, is it wrong or not?

I'm ready to be corrected because I have no experience in bitcoin and crypto.
the decision you made by selling your motorbike to buy bitcoin was correct, and I think it would be a long term investment. Because bitcoin in the last 10 years has proven that its value will remain strong amidst the global economic recession.

Because your goal is to invest in Bitcoin, of course, to make a profit from the sale of your motorbike. I think Bitcoin offers an opportunity to make a large amount of profit in the future.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: how to overcome inflation for the community on: January 21, 2023, 12:58:20 PM
5. Start investing and saving
Those who were the first to face this inflation were faced with calm. Indeed, there are many ways to deal with inflation, we must allocate funds to invest. However, those who don't understand investment instruments, don't invest in high-risk ones, so you can't get a profit.

Don't let it be because of fear of excessive inflation that you didn't understand Investment suddenly as long as you invest, the original money for short-term needs suddenly runs out because of a loss. Therefore, it is better to keep the money in a safe place, at least it can minimize the decline in value due to inflation.
252  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie it is better you take custody of your coins on: January 21, 2023, 12:13:12 PM
This advice is not only suitable for newbies but even old members need ro hear this again to take action.

Since the entire cryptocurrency market is an interconnected digital financial web, that comes with high security and risk since we know that once transactions are sent it is irreversible so the need to pay close attention to our actions in this space is very important.

My advice to others most especially newbies is that, make sure you are holding your asset in your wallet and never trust any cryptocurrency third parties entity with custody of your coins until you have enough knowledge to manage the risk that is associated with such services.
Advice that needs to be remembered at all times for all of us, even though it is basic, sometimes people forget this important thing. Bottom line, don't put your assets in one wallet because that's very risky. If you are a big investor it is better to keep crypto assets in several coldwallets, and only keep a few in CEX.

Sometimes we also forget crypto assets as inheritance. If long-term assets are supposed to provide access to crypto assets to future children or grandchildren. That way, if something unexpected happens, families can still access their crypto assets.
253  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 20, 2023, 10:36:01 PM
Where I live it's still pretty cheap for groceries and services as $50 is enough to live on for five days if it's just by yourself. Because here, for the cost of daily meals without electricity and water bills, you can just have as much as $6 and that includes one liter of motor gasoline a day. So it's still cheaper here if I compare it to what you told me, even though I also feel the increase in food and service prices from last year until now, but I can still deal with it comfortably by continuing to work and make money so I can live without going hungry.

And maybe I wouldn't be able to live in Australia if the cost of living was that much because $50 is very precious money to me and I would be very grateful if I could make that much money in a day, because I can spend some of it on food and some of it on saving for brighter future. So I can't imagine the amount of spending there (Australia) with the amount of money I spend here on a daily basis.
Each region must have different income and expenses, let alone different countries. Maybe it's true that you only spend 50$ just a week, unlike in Australia you can spend 50$ a day. But don't get me wrong either. Even though the cost of living in Australia is expensive, the salary for workers in Australia is also quite expensive. Actually the cost of living is not expensive, what is expensive is the lifestyle because lifestyle has no limits.

This year the world is facing a difficult situation. Many countries will face an increasingly difficult situation due to the economic, food and energy crises. I think it's not only in Australia that the price of basic commodities has gone up, in my area it has also gone up. We hope that this crisis will pass quickly so that the world economic situation returns to normal.

255  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Genesis Trading in trouble?? on: January 20, 2023, 05:09:10 PM
If they eventually go insolvent, will we see another drop in the price of Bitcoin??
Genesis' bankruptcy is the latest crushing blow to the crypto sector, which is still recovering from the collapse of FTX it looks like it's not over yet. But amidst these difficulties, all indications are that Bitcoin will break major resistance and experience an explosive rally.

as market conditions are shaping up like they were in 2019 when the king of cryptocurrencies kept going. We are approaching a point where we will almost certainly see a continuation of risk assets. We got a bear market relief rally, a similar stage to what we saw in 2019, and then the rally started. Now is the perfect time to start trading and building your portfolio to start accumulating more.
256  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do not leave your money in an investment account. on: January 20, 2023, 01:58:46 PM
This is an investment account known as stocks and securities limited in Jamaica, it is a centralized investment account. The mistake he did is putting all he has in this in this investment account, it would have been better if he had diversify this money into a decentralized investment or something more reliable.
I think it's not all the money, it's one of the investment accounts. Usain and others invest in Jamaican Investment Firms to appear credible. Usain and other wealthy Jamaicans are looking for normal financial gain.

I hope he gets his money back. Moreover, I read from the article from the OP, he has done many things for Jamaica such as the gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, London 2012 and Rio 2016. He still holds the 100 and 200 meters world record with a time of 9.58 seconds and 19.19 seconds, both scored at the 2009 world championships in Berlin.
257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One of the things that make people to make good content in posting on: January 20, 2023, 11:44:24 AM
Despite that I'm new and i haven't earn merit, but i believe with research and time i will earn merit, i will be happiest person the day i will earn a merit.
Thinking critically and reading a lot about crypto and forum rules is one of the soft skills needed to improve posting on this forum. so that later when you make posts on each topic it's easier because you already understand a little of the contents of that topic.

So I think critical thinking is the main thing in making the discussion in this forum interesting and systematic so that those who read it will benefit. Don't focus on merit, because merit will come by itself.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 20, 2023, 08:56:07 AM
Erik Ten Hak did not underestimate Crystal Palace, because they played at full strength and did not rest a number of their core players, even though Manchester United had to draw 1-1 in that match. Bruno Fernandes managed to take advantage of the bait provided by Eriksen, so that a goal was created in the 43rd minute. Manchester United came close to winning the match, but Michael Olise equalized with a free kick which David De Gea could not prevent in extra time.

Furthermore, Manchester United will face Arsenal, this match will be much more interesting because in the first half of the season Arsenal must admit the superiority of Manchester United. This time Arsenal have the ambition to avenge the defeat in the first game, as well as distance the difference in points with the second place in the standings and keep the chances in the race for the Premier League title this season.
I understand that MU drew against Crystal Palace. It is possible that MU players are tired both physically and mentally because the match schedule is so tight that it makes their performance less than optimal.

Apart from MU failing to kill the game with many chances, Palace often makes it difficult for the big teams, especially at home. Especially in the EPL the bottom team can sometimes beat the top. A draw is too expensive because Casemiro got a yellow card. next MU Vs Arsenal without casemiro

regardless of the words of friends who underestimate bitcoin, I am 90% sure that bitcoin is the future, at this time there are still many who take bitcoin for granted even though if they want to find information on bitcoin there is so much at this time.

I've seen Bill Gates' interview on YouTube, about the internet, email, social media, he was even laughed at because at that time, it was a strange thing, people only judged something that at that time made sense, until in the end when everyone used it, they just so the last follower, this is directly proportional to investment, people buy and are tempted when they see the price soar, not when the price is low and when no one is interested, especially the current state of the global economy, bitcoin would be better to invest in for the future .
