241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 09:37:39 PM
We had the midfield for the entire game until Lampard with his little mindset sub off Enzo and ruined the game, bringing in Sterling ahead of Madueke or Ziyech was another terrible decision, Sterling hasn't been himself since Tuchel left and yet Lampard keeps playing him. If he truly cared about this club, he would send in his resignation letter tomorrow and let someone else take charge.eone experience do this job. Potter did a better jon in the CL only for Lampard to come in and ruined it,

4 games, 4 Loses, 1 goal scored. terrible indeed.

I no longer consider Chelsea to be a club, definitely not after their humiliation tonight against real madrid at Stamford bridge. The problem of the club is sacking a mediocre coach and replacing him with a worst coach, Frank Lampard have no single experience, his chances of winning a game in UEFEA is very slim, Graham Potter did make Chelsea lose points on the league table, but definitely not in UCL. He always make sure that Chelsea had good results in UCL games, Lampard jeopardize everything within one month incharged. 4 games managed, 4 losses, definitely not a good records, Todd Boehly should triggered the sack option because I don't see blues having a future with Frank Lampard.
Neither Frank Lampard nor Coach Potter are to blame for Chelsea's struggles. The crucial decision to sack the staff set the trend for the team's current state. I was concerned about the new owner's acquisition, especially after seeing how the same decision impacted Manchester United. Chelsea's new directors are now contemplating whether to rehire a German coach with whom they have a prior relationship. However, he is a secondary option to Tuchel, and his management style is currently causing issues at Bayern Munich. I stopped watching Chelsea over two months ago, and I know many others who have done the same.

Certik's cryptocurrency project shared a compelling piece of information, revealing that over 25% of individuals who fell victim to fraud in 2021 reported it began with a social media ad, post, or message. To stay informed and vigilant, this thread will delve into the most frequently occurring types of social media scams. If someone reports a name as being involved in a scam, it's likely that the person they are reporting has already successfully scammed at least one person. While I don't want to discredit the usefulness of Truecaller in identifying potential scammers, it's important to remember that the app is only as effective as the information provided by its users. By reporting a number as a scam, users can help others by flagging the number and preventing further scams from taking place. However, it's still unclear how scammers obtain people's contact information, and it's possible that it's not entirely random.

I feel extremely let down by the projects team. I was removed from the Telegram group and when I reached out to some of the members I could still contact to ask why, they claimed to be new to the team and unaware of any bounty. They refused to discuss the matter any further. I even reached out to Boris privately, but he ended up blocking me. The manager has not informed the bounty hunter about the team's lack of response for some time now. While I hope the project succeeds, I cannot in good conscience recommend it or engage with it again. From this point forward, I no longer wish to be associated with the project.

246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take good care of yourselves on: April 09, 2023, 10:30:40 PM
While I do not endorse the notion of depriving oneself of basic necessities for the sake of investment, I believe that investing instills the principle of deferred gratification. This entails forgoing immediate gratification in order to secure a greater payoff in the future. What makes Bitcoin appealing is its predictable four-year cycle plan, which enables investors to reap profits at present and simultaneously plan for the next four-year cycle. It is important to note, however, that traders must diversify their investments to mitigate the risks and make up for losses in bear markets.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 09, 2023, 10:15:59 PM
There is no doubt that Elon Musk is one of the Dogecoin Whales, he and those people working on Twitter would have benefited greatly from these changes, this is pure market manipulation, it is even possible he bets in both directions before the logo was changed and after the logo was changed. Even a novice trader knows that when the logo was changed that the price is likely going to dump and this is one of the best short trades this year.

If it's so obvious, why do most people still fall into this trap and run to buy an asset after Musk did something with the logo. This is absurd. The coin didn't get any additional distribution, there were no new announcements or developments, someone just wanted to have fun and stick the badge where it didn't belong at all. People blame all their losses on Musk, but for some reason they still can't stop reacting to some of his next manipulations.
Consider this perspective: The individual currently ranked as the second wealthiest in the world has a vested interest in a particular coin, and also possesses the financial means to provide significant support for it. The previous market cycle demonstrated notable increases in value for both Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, which many cryptocurrency enthusiasts dismissed as a mere bluff due to the coins' origins as meme-based currencies. However, numerous long-term proponents of digital currencies ultimately expressed remorse for missing out on the substantial profits that ensued. So if similar trend start who will want to miss
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a bad reputation (we should fix it) on: April 09, 2023, 06:23:38 PM
There are other ventures of exchange for money even in the USA that still exist to this day like drugs and weapons that investigations are not allowed, and that are criminal entities than bitcoin. The fact that bitcoin is used for criminal purposes does not mean that fiat cannot be used, but let's put it in the same asset class as gold, crude maybe, this time around as a digital asset. While bitcoin mixing can protect identity with transactions, some other anonymous coins still exist with high transaction volumes, though they are not discussed as often as they were in the past, but are still very active and private.
249  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggestion to improve privacy on Bitcointalk on: April 09, 2023, 06:06:08 PM
Bitcoin doesn't have that level of privacy, you can still be seen by others until you prevent them from seeing your transaction. Keeping your wallet address on your profile page is also important for two reasons; 1. Besides most authentication requests, for the wallet address provided in the campaign for managers, for cases where your name is impersonated. 2.The forum moderators will also ask for a signature for the provided account on your profile page in case of an account hack, so you need to have this wallet address public. Anyone who takes it as their job to check other people's addresses has a problem.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading have concepts on: April 08, 2023, 09:04:44 PM
A good title for the thread would be  "The dangers of greediness in trading and investing".  The major causes of losing in trading are greediness and the anticipation of making more profit. Trading is a multi-faceted concept requiring a good understanding to succeed. When it comes to greed, how will you handle it?
251  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is politics supposed to be for the old ones? on: April 08, 2023, 08:55:31 PM
The average age of presidents around the world is 65, 35 as youngest and 85 as oldest. factors that had cause the rise in age of presidents are
1. Experience
2. Ageism
3 Recognition
4. Financial stability/manipulation
A diverse range of ages and perspectives in politics can lead to more balanced decision-making and policies that benefit more people. While younger individuals can bring new ideas and energy to the political process, older individuals can share their experience and wisdom.
Therefore, anyone who has a passion for making a difference and is interested in politics should feel empowered to participate
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - new feature that detects scams on: April 07, 2023, 10:42:18 PM
I find this also very useful, especially when used by newcomers to the electronics market, sometimes they have ignorant usage behaviors that lead to unnecessary losses.
Although to me the use of metamask is only seen as a small means, and the main mistakes are still their own, so blaming the support tools as many people have expressed in this market also needs to be reconsidered. Remember that it is we who make mistakes, but this new update of the metamask is also great.
The last time I checked they planned to announce when it is safe after working with Opensea and Blockaid, but we haven't heard from them. Most online platforms that delegate their security to another company do not have my trust. While Metamask has been more aware of the need to enhance wallet security this year, they have not made significant progress in that area.
253  Economy / Services / Re: yahoo62278 Campaign Management services(Available) on: April 07, 2023, 10:27:23 PM
EgoPaysenger should launch the project this month, but it is unclear how to claim the token from the bounty or when the distribution will take place. Some individuals who asked for information on the Telegram were directed to the bounty manager. In the absence of the bounty hunter's telegram, there are no other platform for discussions. I am using this thread to contact the manager to contact the project team about the distribution.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar is worthless! on: April 06, 2023, 10:50:06 PM
What happens to the value of bitcoin if the dollar goes to 0? Will bitcoin also loose value because the dollar is worthless? yes, there would probably be other things to mind like world war, full panic, no internett and so on. But set these things aside. How much would a sack of potatoes cost, and with what could I buy these potatous witth(gold/bitcoin/chickens/etc.)?

Any ideas? and any ideas on how bitcoin could be independant of the dollar, or other fiat?
Let's not rush to judgment about news of dedollarization. There are many things that don't look good now, but I wouldn't rule out anything from the USA, everything seems to be political and the USA looks very calm. Although it may look like they are playing it safe, the dollar is still doing well despite all of the news. Although bitcoin is valued in dollar and traded in many more currencies, the impact of fiat market can be managed

The manager should change the thread title to reflect the project name so that forum members are not misled and the search for the token is easier.
257  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam alert] Fake Arbitrum airdrop claim website.. on: April 04, 2023, 08:52:31 PM
Numerous fraudulent Twitter accounts have messaged me about an airdrop opportunity. Although I was almost fooled by this claim, later I realized that legitimate opportunities need to be concealed in order to limit the number of beneficiaries. Rather than falling victim to this apparent airdrop opportunity, I realized that it is crucial to be cautious and verify any website links provided. I also realized that I needed to compare social media links. If you frequently trade cryptocurrency and follow many influencers, the number of followers on a particular account could indicate its authenticity in this era of airdrop awareness.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 04, 2023, 08:40:46 PM
I have seen several casinos with promotions where they do "drops" to thousands of people or they give bonuses to several gamblers, but how transparent is this process?

Do you think casinos are really doing these drops to 1000s of people or are they skimming from the top.... ? They might say a drop is for 2500 people, but they might only drop for 500 people and nobody will know. Yes, some of those 500 people will report that they have received the drop and it will look legit.... but is it really?

How can the gamblers verify that the actual amount of people are receiving the drop or the bonus, if there are no list to verify it? Let's discuss this.. I am curious if other people also thought about this...  Tongue
Often we can't as individuals, or least i don't know a way. But when we think it trough, i wouldn't be worried. As casinos are trading millions in a day wouldn't need to cheat. Because getting caught would mean people would talk about it. And you would need only few people to first start a doubt, and confirm such a thing could be catastrophic to the casino. And once again, they have money to pay and it's peanuts to them, so why wouldn't they pay, as at the same time it's excellent marketing tactic.
With all these factors in mind, I don't discount the possibility of casino fraud, but if they are caught, they could face significant penalties, fines, and even lose their license to operate. Besides litigation, cheating casinos can also suffer significant reputational damage. If customers believe that they have been cheated, they are unlikely to return,
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A Big Secret of BNB coin! You Must Read This Or You Would Regret Later on: April 03, 2023, 09:21:46 PM
Am pretty sure $500 will happen pretty soon, for those who only see negative side of binance and bnb it is just a matter of time before they will probably sing a different song, bnb has more value and utility than most other overpriced coin out there, plus which other exchange is as successful as binance right now, cz literally work his way from bottom to top, he is a business man and who don't like it can step aside  Lips sealed
As a result of comparing some parameters such as their previous all time with a difference of not more than two dollars, their current trading value difference which is very close, and the high number of exchanges which could grant Cake a better advantage, Cake will do better in this cycle.  More Binance chains are entering this market, and people still consider Binance's transaction fee to be very low
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 03, 2023, 08:52:21 PM
In order to protect against fraud and cheating, a casino that meets all standards employs strict security measures.  They employ security personnel who are trained to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, and they use cameras and other monitoring systems to watch for suspicious behavior. It is typically required that casinos obtain licenses from the government or regulatory bodies, which outline specific rules and guidelines. Ensure fair play, transparency, and accountability, as well as that the games are not rigged in any way.
