243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Issue A Paper Currency Backed By Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2018, 07:19:27 AM
Let's say we had a bitcoin wallet with exactly 1.0 BTC in it. We wanted to use this 'reserve' to issue your own physical, paper currency.

This could come in the form of a bond or security. The necessary thing is that it must be tradable, counterfeit proof, and hold value.

If we printed a circulation of this paper currency, perhaps we could call it a note redeemable for bitcoin within the wallet at a fixed exchange rate.

1 Physical Note = 0.0001 BTC

It would seem that a signature from the private key of the reserve wallet would be required to produce a QR code which can be printed on the physical note. Each note must be signed cryptographically.

When the note is presented to the authority, it is redeemed from the bitcoin wallet to the customer?

How could such a system work?

Idea is interesting. Do you think this will be useful?
I think this no need because you can print paper wallets with preloaded 0.0001BTC.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin must be regulated! on: November 07, 2018, 03:21:28 AM
This is necesarry now because bitcoin involve huge money and the possibilities is that the bitcoin that we may hold may not have any value any more for its equivalency to fiat money are already secured in the owners system pocket. Our trust is slowly degrading for what we had on the current market even the huge investors are already withdrawing their money on bitcoin. And it does not help with small scale investors so there should be a preventive measure to be undertaken but hey where are the team? Common people like me does not even know who owns bitcoin and who are the team composing of bitcoin. If the system needs advancement they should create a remedial for the current market like having another promotion to get more investors. With the attitude of the market price manipulator right now there is no guarantee that bitcoin market price could recover. There is no action being taken and i do not if the team are so selfish with their business on this system they created. Are they only milking the investors? Obviously if this is their ideals then i will not expect bitcoin will last long.

You are wrong. Bitcoin is not stock. Also it is not a tool for earning and making profit.
Bitcoin is a decentralized payment.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like cancer-pill, almost worthless on: November 06, 2018, 08:16:37 AM
A very very good explanation as to why BTC will crash even though blockchain is a good tehnology.

If you do not want to read the full link below, here is the key part of the comparison:

"… imagine that someone had found a cure for cancer and posted the step-by-step instructions on how to make it on-line, freely available for anyone to use.
Now imagine that the same person also created a product called Cancer-Pill using their own instructions, trade marked it, and started selling it to the highest bidders.

I think we can all agree a cure for cancer is immensely valuable to society (blockchain may or may not be, we still have to see), however, how much is a Cancer-Pill worth?
"

Clearly Bitcoin is like cancer-pill - and we have already seen thousands of new coins (cancer-pills) appear. Eventually their price will be almost zero.

The full explanation can be found here: http://www.mrmoneymustache.com/2018/01/02/why-bitcoin-is-stupid/

I'm not agreed that BTC crashed.
If use this theory.. How much will be cost Bitcoin?
You right many shitcoin don't  allow to develop.. It's temporary only.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEW! Bitcoin Smartphone Coming Soon on: November 06, 2018, 07:31:12 AM
It's good. My opinion smartphone with hard wallet is cool!
This will be not full secure. What happen if smartphone will be steal or lost?
How can possible recover private keys?
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really driven by individuals? on: November 06, 2018, 07:16:50 AM
Bitcoin is seen as a currency that is not regulated by any institute. It does not generate any revenue and therefore, has a zero minimal value. What then brings about its value and drives it as well?

Not generate revenue? Yes, if don't include BTC mining. Mining is good business for large farms.
Also semi-anonymous transactions. BTC can't have zero minimum value because cost of mining farms are huge money and works 24/7
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks are still "stalking" Bitcoin users on: November 05, 2018, 02:35:02 PM
Risks are still "stalking" Bitcoin users
Some economists have predicted that the future value of the Bitcoin will probably fall to the bottom, which is zero. But its value can be very high, up to $ 100,000. peaked at $ 1 million. I feel very dangerous when I play in this coin market.
What do you think?

Risk as risk. Everything is risk.
I agree BTC will be 100K usd and higher.
1 million will be good for us Smiley let's wait!
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negotiation with government on: November 05, 2018, 02:23:41 PM
What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.

What? Do you want give tax to governments? Many countries accepted BTC as legal.
No! Why must we paid tax? I don't understand your opinion.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Facebook against Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2018, 02:08:32 PM
Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather intends to avoid the situation of misleading its community members through its paid advertisement. Users of facebook can post crypto and Bitcoin related topics on facebook without any penalty.

First times FB accepted crypto, after was been period prohibited it.
I'm not sure, that Facebook accept advertise with crypto and blockchain technology.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: November 05, 2018, 02:01:19 PM
In the spirit of mass adoption we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin? At some point people would want to feel safe in not tying their credit cards to any online payment gateway. Your thoughts?

Paypal is good payment gateways.
I think each choose payment system for self.
For example, Ebay accept Paypal, need accept BTC too.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will PayPal start accepting bitcoin? on: November 05, 2018, 05:18:37 AM
Sure, paypal is the big kid on the block right now, but who's to say they won't start accepting bitcoin as one of many international currencies?

(Edit: I just added "after 5 years" and "never" as additional poll choices.)

My opinion: paypal never accept Bitcoin. This is different system.
Paypal centralized and have fiat money/bank system.
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will a coin die? on: November 05, 2018, 05:13:59 AM
What is the price at which a coin is considered dead or when an exchange decides to delist the coin?
Like bitcoin was 20k in jan so if it reaches less than 1k we can consider it dead?

Bitcoin can't die.
Do you really think that Bitcoin can be delisted from exchanges?
This impossible because BTC is main coin.

254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China can destroy bitcoin on: November 04, 2018, 06:00:08 AM
very interesting when we hear that academics from Princeton University and academics from the University of Florida have concluded that China has the potential to threaten stability, internet infrastructure, security and bitcoin development.

in the world of mining, China dominates using ASIC vendors. China controls mining hashrate, so they affect the bitcoin protocol.

Is there a solution to stop that potency  ?

I don't see that this is problem. This is opinion only because China have a lot miners. It's can't destroy bitcoin.
China have ASIC's plants but it has a positive effect.
255  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Exchanges Are Coming? But It is OK? on: November 04, 2018, 05:53:49 AM
Everyday, we are seeing new crypto currency exchanges start working. So many platform has already opened. But Is that OK? I think volumes are seperating. How this effect prices?

This is OK. New exchanges can't affect to price.
Traders choose "big old" exchanges. New exchanges are not stable..
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is Bitcoin used to extort people? on: November 03, 2018, 10:04:11 AM
Because of the semi-anonymous nature of Bitcoin, it’s used in ransomware attacks. Hackers breach networks and hold them hostage until payment is made to them. Hospitals and schools have been victims of these types of attacks. However, unlike cash, which was favored by thieves in the past, Bitcoin always leaves a trail in the blockchain that investigators can follow.

Yes, I don't think that can follow and check all blockchain for finding hackers.
In any case they use bitcoin mixers and trail will be disappeared.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you send bitcoins to Satoshi, if you know his Bitcoin address? on: November 03, 2018, 09:52:03 AM
Let's create a fictitious scenario where Satoshi sends a message in a way that can be validated/verified < PGP key > and he notify all of us that he is bankrupt and has no access to his coins.

If this is verified, would you send bitcoins to Satoshi, like people did with Andreas Antonopoulos?

We have seen people sending tips to Satoshi's known Bitcoin addresses and to date, bitcoin’s maiden address has received 16.7 BTC in tips, worth around $107 600. <This has never been claimed>

Will you send bitcoins and if you do, why?

If you will not send bitcoins. Why?

I will send some coins because he created BTC and give us great coin and opportunity profit with BTC.
I will not mind sending some coins and supporting him.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coin War: Can A Country Officially Back Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2018, 05:13:21 AM
This is a joke I think, why would US backed Ripple and what do China gained supporting or Backing Bitcoin, one thing Government don't like is losing control and with Bitcoin you can't have that and also the distribution of BTC and Ripple is in the hands of few people this would make them to people in control of the monetary system of the world just like the Rockefellers. Both countries would rather start their own chain than support Bitcoin and Ripple

XRP is centralized. It's true.
They can't control BTC like Rockefeller's.
If they created own chain, this will be not popular and "centralized"
Bitcoin have good future!
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ICO's are killing Bitcoin. on: October 31, 2018, 03:14:25 AM
I never understood why cryptotraders and exchanges support ICO's, my reasoning is this: An ICO gets funded, then they do what, they SELL the BTC they raised for fiat and push the price dive on BTC, thus taking all those BTC out of the trade environment, anyone thinking that an ICO would reinvest into the exchange is naive. This hurts everyone, even the exchanges. You might say "Well the exchanges get fee's on ico" well that is true, but they are losing all future potential fee's on those coins, if they had continued trade on the market.

So in Short - ICO's are killing Bitcoin and CryptoMarkets.

ICO's can't kill Bitcoin although this affected to price and market
because many ICO's are scam now.
260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens when the last bitcoin has been mined? [Year 2140] on: October 31, 2018, 03:01:20 AM
My opinion that price will be "moon".
Also Year 2140 is approximately date.
Because power of miners rising every day and may be created powerful miner.
