241  Bitcoin / Hardware / Antminer S9 on: December 28, 2016, 05:12:03 AM
Greetings,

S9 hitting the market soon.

Would you buy it if electricity costs ~ 13 cents (and definitely have funds to buy).

And with incresing complexity, what do you feel, after how long it will be just like a brick.

Thanks for your input.

Regards,

Riz
242  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Antminer (or other) on: December 22, 2016, 08:01:13 AM
Hi,

Is it still profitable to mine with S3, S5, or S7.

I have two options i.e. to go for BTC or research on some altcoin. Altcoins are numerous and contain risks. Bitcoin is established and proven but contains ongoing high complexity.

Price of electricity in my part of the word is 19 cents per kWh.

Please advise about the Antminer or reasonable altnernate.

Riz
243  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is faucet rotator dead? on: December 21, 2016, 04:38:03 AM
i think faucet rotator is not dead but maybe the payment is not using faucetbox as we know that site is not giving their service again and maybe the owner of the faucet rotator will be use another payment site. i think if you play faucet rotator for bitcoin, its not profitable and only waste your time, but if you play faucet rotator for altcoin, i think its still profitable but you should choose faucet rotator which have a big list to play so you don't have to waste your time.

Hi, thanks. Can you please suggest top altcoin and top 5 faucet rotators.

Regards,

Rizwan

Hi,

Is it already dead?

If still alive then what are the top reliable rotators?

this guy keeps a pretty good list of ICOs that are upcoming even as long as you are asking for.

250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BASIC: One GPU different currencies on: December 07, 2016, 05:00:36 AM
Hi,

I need to ask a basic (or stupid for some) question. Can one GPU is used for mining more than one currencies, e.g. using same GPU for mining DASH and ZCASH? If yes then, do I need to check for the support of target currencies before getting the specific GPU.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Rizwan
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DOGE or DASH? on: December 06, 2016, 09:23:25 AM
Hi,

For mining perspective; keeping GPU/ASIC in mind, what would be feasible/beneficial - DOGE or DASH?

Thanks.

252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Litecoin or Ripple: To the point questions on: December 05, 2016, 11:29:58 AM
Hi,

After bit research I have narrowed down selection to two prospective currencies for mining:

1) Litecoin
2) Ripple

Note: Didn't consider Ethereum due to its plan to shift on PoS.

I have couple of questions, hope to have insight from your experiences and study:

1) Which one would be better among Litecoin (LTC) an Ripple (XRP). Please state 'why' in couple of lines.

2) Can I convert LTC and XRP into USD (or other major currencies).

3) Do I need to have LTCs and XRPs in advance before mining. If yes, then how much value would I need to have?

4) There is big difference in LTC (3.57USD) and XRP (0.0064USD). How do you see this difference especially while considering XRP over the LTC.

5) Is it possible to mine LTC and XRP with CPU/GPU or ASIC/exclusive hardware would be required.

Would be really grateful for your valuable feedback.

Regards,

Riz
