241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: April 04, 2023, 09:50:17 PM

The recent price drop of Bitcoin and some bad news on the market may cause a new round of FUD for investors. With the price going down, Bitcoin will be more volatile in the short term and the Altcoins that depend on Bitcoin will go through more ups and downs. In this bear market, more investors are hesitant to any Altcoin investment. Apart from the macro environment factor, what truly holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? Please let me know your thoughts.
Bad news always has its impact besides I've been in a situation like that to take a bit from a situation like that to hold short term when there's a bounce then I let it go.  something like that is quite successful but comes with a big risk as well and you have to choose a popular altcoin
242  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and Rich on: April 03, 2023, 10:33:11 PM
We all know the quote "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" I heard this quote when I was in high school now I'm grown up. I always wondering why?

Is it that the rich have already wealth the day they are born? Have savings and investment?

While the poor doesn't have any of those?

The point is I started in low before having some savings and investment. I'm not saying I'm already rich but I can say that I'm better than before. Can you guys share your ideas with this topic.
Lucky if born into a rich family and do not regret if born into a poor family.  we must be grateful to be born into this world, a successful life is everyone's dream, everything can be achieved with principles and hard work and discipline in managing finances and then investing from low to higher things, we all try to be better than the current achievements  we already have
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: April 03, 2023, 09:31:31 PM
Using influencer services is a team strategy to attract many enthusiasts by leveraging many followers.  Things like that really need to be watched out for, don't be easily tempted by multiple profits, we have to filter and dig up the information they offer if you want to invest in these coins.  it is better to invest in old altcoins that have been on the exchange market for a long time
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Al Transforming Job Market on: April 02, 2023, 11:40:29 PM
For employers definitely prefer AI technology over spending money to impart skills to their employees.  they are happy if they can cut monthly expenses by reducing employees and then replacing them with AI if I as an entrepreneur will definitely do it too.  before the technology existed, multi skill education was implemented at my workplace, so all employees had to master other skills or master all other parts to fill in if an employee was absent
245  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: April 02, 2023, 11:02:23 PM
Money and education which one of these is advisable to achieve?
They constantly say education is the key to success but in my country today many graduates don't have a job, and most of them are still fed by their parents, and that's not the way it's supposed to be.
And again they also said money is potency and fondness. Yes, money is power even if you are not a graduate or you haven't been to college before and you have the money you can even employ a graduate to work for you.
Presently now in my wonderful fatherland NIGERIA 🇳🇬 I can see the power of money.
Please any advice?
In other words, if you have money, you can employ educated people, you can be right too, but if you have money, you don't have education, you won't be able to look after and manage it properly, you can be deceived by people, so the two cannot be separated because there is a relationship between the two of them needed in life.  if in my country education is high it will be easy to find a job in a good position and to achieve education you need a lot of money
246  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: March 31, 2023, 11:48:46 PM
Everyone who wants to create a fortune has a long way to go, first we need to learn how to earn, save and then learn how to make money work for us. Someone creates a business for this, someone is looking for investments, but the essence remains the same, we earn, save and increase our capital.

I'm wondering how long we'll need to do the savings? Who has already reached any significant level, are you still saving, or you can afford to live without any financial restrictions?

I have just started taking steps towards achieving my well-being and it is still very difficult for me to understand how I can achieve my goal and become a wealthy person. The thought that I will have to save for a long time now seems difficult, will it not tire me, will I be able to go this way. I already have some bitcoin and I like the feeling that I own something of value. When I manage to save some money, I buy again, but this is not permanent because I do not have a permanent job. Sometimes I want to buy new sneakers, and I decide to buy or postpone, sometimes I doubt if I'm doing the right thing, maybe I should provide myself with everything I need and save only what remains, if left.

Probably now I am thinking that I would not like to save all the time, I would like to reach the level at which I would be a wealthy person and I would not have to worry about money, but I have no idea when I can achieve this.
In my view, you are already better than me, while I have a steady job but it's hard to save.  Financial restrictions have been tried and the results are many unexpected things so that the savings run out.  By not being burdened with installments, my life is even more extravagant because I don't feel any financial pressure, so the feeling of saving is getting smaller.  try to better change your mindset and lifestyle so that in old age it is better not to worry about financial problems
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: March 30, 2023, 09:19:11 PM
Well, I have to clarify that personally I have never had any loan or debt in my life so this thread has nothing to do with my experience but intends to find out how people in loan/debt deal with the problem. Let's say you take loans from a bank and sometimes for whatever reason, you can not pay the debt on time, then you borrow money from other channels. Sure this works for a certain period but later bad things may happen, you have to postpone the payment and struggle with finances again. Isn't this a vicious circle ? How would you deal with the problem ? I am all ears.
Obviously it's a vicious cycle that never ends if you keep doing that.  the impact of the debt is getting more and more mountainous as much as possible avoid things like that, usually borrow money from parties other than the bank, the interest is bigger and just as terrible if you are in arrears you can't pay the loan money, you can deal with collector services and your goods can be used as collateral then your name will be blacklisted  lists from other banks are even more terrifying if you try an online loan, all your personal data is at stake
248  Economy / Economics / Re: less risk or big profit? on: March 30, 2023, 12:15:31 AM
In some conversations that I have had with some rich people who are old, they most times always say that they invested in real estate and that was how they made some fortune. Young people understand that investing is key and paramount to securing a better future like these Old rich men did then, But the question now is what exactly to invest in for young people. Is it wise to follow in the steps of the old rich men who had investments in Real Estate, or do they completely now invest in cryptocurrency? The answer is sometimes traced to the one that offers the lowest risk and loss of capital.

The less riskier from Real Estate and cryptocurrency is Real Estate, but less risk,, less reward. The risk that come with the higher volatility of cryptocurrency makes the profit that can be gotten bigger. Will you go for less risk, or big profit?

Investing is very easy if you have capital.  now what young people have to do after graduating from high school is the main step is to find a job first to get capital because investing in real estate requires large capital, different from investing in cryptocurrencies, you can do it with small or large capital.  That's my personal experience, what I've done now is that investing in land houses exists and crypto also exists
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do we go from here on: March 29, 2023, 09:49:28 PM
There was a time where Elon musk is afraid of Robots with AI capabilities, saying they are dangerous to humans, there was a rumour about some incident where a robot threatened to crush him, I don't know how true is this, but not too long ago even the Microsoft boss Bill Gates is very concerned about the harms that AI could bring on humanity, saying something like AI might decides that humans are a threat. We do we go from here?
Experts certainly better understand what threats will be received with the existence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.  behind these benefits there is a real threat that we can see together as soon as possible, try to imagine if all industries including manufacturing use AI services because it can replace the human role, there will be a lot of reductions in employees and in the future there will be a reduction in jobs and it will definitely happen
250  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank loans and securities. on: March 29, 2023, 12:14:51 AM
Banks can not loan you above their security measures. I went to bank to access a loan of $2,300 and they ask me what's my securities collateral to back up my loan reguest. And I said my school certs. The bank agent said such amount required housing, land or multi investment documents not just certification. So that's mean education do not have the real value but properties does.

Financial institutions are very conical in dealings with others. They can beg to bring money for them to use it and build estates, mortgage and occupy landed properties but they will screw you before given you a loan.
A school certificate is not a requirement for borrowing money from a bank, of course it will be rejected.  That's what I know, but for the requirements for applying for a job.  maybe it will apply if you borrow from a pawnshop or mortgage it to a pawnshop.  Banks require collateral, it is not easy to apply for a loan, large or small loans definitely require land, home or business certificates and you can also use vehicle certificates.  hill income or salary slip
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell Shib now? Am holding on: March 28, 2023, 03:32:07 PM
Even though it has become a popular meme coin it does not guarantee that it can follow the historical trajectory of its predecessors like doge.  Just hold a year or two for peak bull season to come.  if your finances are safe.  no one knows what will happen in the future, at least we have tried, hopefully we can follow doge record whose price has risen to touch the new ATH
252  Economy / Economics / Re: Replacement? on: March 27, 2023, 12:46:13 AM
I have been seeing the progress of cryptocurrency these past few years, and I've been thinking, will it definitely be a replacement for physical money and use crypto as a primary transactions in our everyday life?
Crypto as the main transaction in our daily lives requires enormous change, everything must use digital devices and requires an even internet network and government policies, regulations in each country are different, so if you want to implement something like that, it depends on the people  and government.  but in my opinion physical money will not be replaced crypto currency can only be used as an alternative currency, trade and investment
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: March 27, 2023, 12:18:15 AM
I planned to buy some altcoins now that we are in a bear market but someone I knew is telling me not to, that its possible more dumps will take place, my question is how will I know when it's the right time to buy coins?
Someone's input really has to be reconsidered with our beliefs by doing the best possible research and even better having to find sources from experts.  the problem of time is unpredictable just like the price in the crypto market which changes all the time no one knows for sure the price of bitcoin will drop to its lowest point.  if you see now the price is better than the previous months,  can say that the bear season is over
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on the future of Decentralised exchanges on: March 26, 2023, 10:19:09 AM
If the features provided by cex like diversity, convenience and etc are in dex maybe everyone will switch to dex exchange basically everyone expects cex to have a good level of security otherwise dex has to be more advanced.  dex technology must be developed again because traders and investors need convenience, privacy, maximum security, low costs and large liquidity
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not sleep on DEx Exchange tokens on: March 25, 2023, 11:08:08 PM
Guys do not sleep on new decentralized exchanges out there, they are growing very fast and their TVL is eye-catching, I think Dex tokens will make good profits in the next bull market, here are my favorite dex tokens.

1. GMX  2. GNS  3. VeloDrome  4. ZigZag  5. Perp protocol

Waiting to here from you guys which dex token is the best on your radar as we speak.

    -  I didn't like any of the dex platforms you mentioned though I have dexes that I use anyway, but I don't use them very often. DEX is fine as long as it has a good reputation in this industry.

As long as the DEXs that I use just recently were Biswap, Quickswap, then the others that I think are okay, I used to use pancakeswap but now I don't anymore because hackers and scammers got into it.
In the absence of third party intermediaries hacking and scammers can still occur so which one is the safest between dex and cex?  the thing that I have experienced is if I want to do a token sale, if I am asked to choose between dex and cex, I prefer cex
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 25, 2023, 10:31:39 PM
In my opinion ethereum is the top altcoin of all altcoins and when compared to bitcoin, ethereum is the second, why can you say that, of course many people know about its superiority and there is no doubt that a lot of evidence has been achieved.  Ethereum is also the best choice of investment assets
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how exchanges list news crypto tokens on: March 23, 2023, 07:10:50 PM
Most exchange markets do not require a lot of paperwork to verify the eligibility of a new token to be put on their exchange.  As long as it's a token that makes money, they'll put it on the exchange.  I see that most of the exchange market will not suffer a loss if the token they put in turns out to be a scam and loses because the losers are of course the traders on their exchange market.
The good name of the exchange is also at stake if they install scam tokens so of course the market has other criteria and requirements not to accept new residents carelessly.  maybe if you want to register a new token into the Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges which are very well known, it requires a very expensive fee and strict conditions are certainly not easy, many things must be fulfilled, not all new tokens can enter it, it needs strong encouragement and meets the requirements
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: March 23, 2023, 06:24:55 PM
does bounty really pay? yes. but there are also bounties that are not paid, many things can cause why the bounties fail or are not paid, one of which is due to insufficient fundraising, or listing exchanges that are very expensive, so that the project ends up being abandoned
But there are also tokens that are obtained that have no value and become displays in the wallet, this has become commonplace for bounty hunters, this experience must have been experienced by them, sometimes surprises come when they get a good project with a very high fee  don't give up keep fighting make experience the best teacher
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: March 22, 2023, 04:32:37 PM
Haven't been hunting for airdrops in a long time, if you follow it it's just a waste of time the pay is not worth the task ordered the average that is obtained is a garbage token now there are those who use a way to connect a wallet if you find something like that it should be considered
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think blockchain gaming technology will have evolved by 2030? on: March 22, 2023, 04:07:59 PM
As a game player, of course, you need transparency to minimize fraud. Of course, there is blockchain game technology that is expected to overcome the current problems.  must be able to become a strong attraction using the playing system to earn income.  this can still be developed and can be said to be still in the refinement stage, just waiting for the next trend, many are waiting for the development of the next gaming blockchain
