no i dont think so but 10 dollars (100m marketcap) is realistic to reach we will get there

The subdomain thing isnt true http://alwaysonline.io/#introthis site is hosted on phantom. much talk nothing behind it. yes the idea of ipfs doesnt come from shift itself but that doesnt mean that they didnt put any work to program it in combination with a dApp and a blockchain. he throws in his comment a programming language, a databank system and a microsoft app while he is comparing with shifts programming languages only. his comparisations are out of relatives and they didnt even bring anything to the table yet.

it is a bit but there are still some coins take a look at shift. its cheap and has a great ipfs project

Bittrex chart looks good.
Yep, I feel bad for the people dumping Been holding and holding and holding. Not worried one bit. I've held through when it was 0.{some zeros}2 all the way up to 0.{some zeros}5 and back down to 0.{some zeros}3. I will continue to hold until Shift has stronger support. Will come this month

Shift is nearly ready and thats good i also heard about maidsafe but i will stick to the ipfs thing.

Blockstack uses cloud services like Dropbox and GoogleDrive. Not really the same thing at all. Blockstack > Shift
I know that the ipfs system also has an file manager but i dont know if it is working as a cloud

i use the shift online wallet really? i havent ever seen shift on shapeshift but would be nice when shapeshift list it to get a bigger broadband of people in the community

Yes it is

Is worth to wait for Shift drop or is it time to buy now?
I was thinking the same thing but also haven't decided yet if i should buy or wait. Looking at the price charts, and this is of course just my opinion and should be taken as such. I feel shift will maintain a bullish trend unless adversely affected by other outside influences. i.e. Large Bitcoin crash. They have their product running on testnet now. They just need to check for bugs and then release to mainnet. Follow that they are looking at a website redesign and are currently scraping up funds for a big marketing campaign. I believe all this is due by the end of the year, although not guaranteed. Not many other coins out there that wait till they have a working product until they start their marketing campaign, it's lead to some issues with lack of funds for the devs but nothing that will put too big a spanner in the works. A strong product with a strong marketing campaign and a website/white paper (which are all being worked on right now) clearly explaining how it all works is sure to do well (IMO!) Well said. Yes i just hope that there are no bugs when its launching on the mainnet they better should do things properly rather than marketing asap but its already good that they didnt start with it because their first priority is to release a good project much better than those "ico" hypes. when it comes to the tech they dont finish things at all but the money is flowing in. thats just a bad trend in the cryptosphere. the currency should have a intrinsical worth and that is the tech in my eyes. a ico with a not finished product = worthless

its always good to take a look at this project ipfs in combination with decentralized exchangers would be a innovation that is definitely worth it

I tested the shift wallet at https://wallet.shiftnrg.org. Sending shift from exchange to wallet is quick, it took only minutes. But sending shift back to the exchange seems to take much longer. over 20 minutes. Exchanges usually have wait for a certain number of confirmations before crediting your account there. The number of confirmations depends on the currency and exchange. With Bittrex, you can normally see that you have incoming funds from the first confirmation, and how many confirmations until it is available to you. Last time I used Livecoin, I remember not seeing anything showing up for maybe 30 minutes, and then suddenly, it's there. I suppose Livecoin wasn't scanning their SHIFT wallet as often. Just make sure to send to the correct address. If you see the transaction in the explorer. The exchange has most likely seen it too. well for many other coins it took much longer than 20 minutes i had some coins with 60 confirmations or more

good to see more users of shift are coming in and september hasnt even began yet would be happy to see more and more internet sites using the ipfs tech a decentralized exchanger on the interplanetary file system would be the bomb uncensored safe and open source
|
|
|
So, what does the actual coin have to do with this project?
I believe the SHIFT coin will be used for utility such as buying hosting on phantom, etc it would be pretty nice when there would be a decentraliced exchanger on phantom that would be the bomb. a exchanger that is safe and could never shut down. 100%

5-10 dollars are quite realistic on this project for the beginning. we still dont have to forget that about 100m marketcap is a really big sum. that should be appreciated for and from the investors because i see the ipfs thing as quite serious. the devs put definitely a lot of work in it.
|
|
|
it would be nice when the dev team starts to set their points on marketing after the release of phantom as soon as possible that would hold the price range above two dollars. that would be the possibility to reach a bigger broadband of users after phantom. september will be already good enough to have such a technology based on ipfs and blockchain. great work from the devs.

seems like its holding its position which is great
|
|

like to see that movement

Not sure what to do with my Shift at this point. I consider it one of my main, most promising longterm investments. Don't want to sell here, but if it goes up another 50-100% I'm selling and buying back in after the correction. I need more Shift Don't worry. I've heard that some Chinese whales started to buy Shift. Next month is $10. Decentralised web has a future. sounds good i also think about 5-10 dollars

i agree with avg i had some rdd in the early december good dividends but i was so stupid and sold at 5 sat because i was happy getting them off. 30 million reddcoins for only 700 euros the project itself is a very good idea but it had only one dev and it wasnt very well organized. the hype about the project, the cheap prize and the whole hype altcoin pump in the cryptosphere did his thing. i can say at this state it isnt worth it at all
