241  Economy / Speculation / Re: from $4350 now down to $3860 per BTC.. what is your prediction ? on: August 19, 2017, 02:15:39 PM
from $4350 now down to $3860 per BTC.. what is your prediction ?

and i also read an article bout BTC that they will dump it to 3600 and pump to 4500 is this correct ? well what ever happen all i want to see  bitcoin goes up  to 4500 or even 5000 because i bought BTC for investment

I really didn't know things have happened and that's why I always ensure not to always keep tab in the price movement because doing that might make some rash decisions because of panics of what will happen after. I checked not too long and it was back above $4000 which is still fair if you ask me. The fact is no one knows what will happen but we all know it will not always be rosy.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Random thoughts on the recent and upcoming hardforks. on: August 19, 2017, 10:17:35 AM
What I see about all this argument for or against a particular course of action is because each of this individuals or group are only trying to fight for what they think is the best and because they know a lot of people trust them to follow them but either way the outcome of their decisions is likely going to spell doom for bitcoin and by that time, they will all have nothing to argue about and for the majority of followers they think they have would have been dispersed and nothing to fall back on.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How this picture makes you feel ? on: August 19, 2017, 08:22:05 AM
I really don't see any  point whining about the past because no matter how you do it, you can reverse what has happened. So in this case, I don't feel bad about it and for those who wished they had made some decisions concerning from it would also not do the same thing to day about all those alternatives and by next year January, they still wished they take the same decision now.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future Applications for Bitcoin on: August 19, 2017, 05:34:45 AM
Every option being discussed are something I sum up as mere wishing as it won't happen until one important thing is done which is stability to bitcoin. If that didn't happen, then not one of those establishments will fully embrace bitcoin. As you cannot place something on nothing, so also that won't happen until the issue surrounding volatility is brought to the barest minimum.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: August 19, 2017, 05:03:02 AM
In my own case I really don't feel anything special out of the ordinary because most games I play, I know that the chances of winning is high so when if happens, its just a confirmation of what I have already know. I don't play every time because I don't have details of all the teams involved but when I get to play, I focus on the ones I am sure of winning and then place my bet. That shouldn't be too difficult to do.
246  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Which jurisdiction is better now? on: August 15, 2017, 03:28:05 PM
Which jurisdiction is more suitable for ICO now? How do you like Hong Kong?

This is one question that majority of the ICO around are either don't know the answer to or they are outright shying away from providing answers about or they just go the default line and assume its not illegal but the answers is equally dicey aside USA whose body language as we all know is hostile towards bitcoin, no other country has been able to get a definite position and when they do, I am sure its going to become clearer.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Highest bitcoin profit you have ever received... on: August 15, 2017, 01:32:32 PM
The highest I have received so far was say 0.045btc and that was a long time ago when the price of btc was within the $1000 range and that was the highest I got and this was due to one out of the moon gambling decision I made then. But since then and with the increase in the price of bitcoin, it seems everything is taking the down turn.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: August 15, 2017, 11:02:29 AM
The final solution of unemployment is work and for all those who are unemployed bitcoin serves as a stressbuster as it allows to make  them financially strong. Driving  on this lane will make them earn a lot if they do it with proper understanding.

I agree with this because in my place where I stay, making money is really not the issue but work is a major concern. For me that I do my regular job and still involved in bitcoin, I just have to go to work as I cant saty at home because the moment people see you staying at home but being able to meet your needs, then you are involved in something illegal such as internet fraud and I don't want to be labelled as such and neither do I have time for explanation, so I have to go to work and its not unemployment that drives me here.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Putin getting ready to kick Bitmain's ass on: August 15, 2017, 10:18:56 AM
There is no way I am going to support monopoly in any form but at the same time, whether the coins is being mined in China or Russia or even the United States, it does not change anything in that, it does not by automatic increase the maximum that can be mined rather it will just then take the control from individuals back to the conglomerates to be the deciding factor. With government now showing some form of attention, I am sure they have some ulterior motive towards this.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Happened To The Monkey Capital ICO and Massive Crash On CoEval? on: August 15, 2017, 07:59:12 AM
Here is the article written by Daniel Harrison, CEO of Monkey Capital -
https://www.coinspeaker.com/2017/08/08/waves-washed-giant-tsunami-upstart-ico/

Here is the followup from Waves' perspective -
https://www.coinspeaker.com/2017/08/10/update-waves-comment-on-monkey-capital-ico-situation/

Try to read the comments where people claim (and give proof/communication exchange) Daniel to be a scammer and expose his antics.

I will definitely take a look at this because I could remember they carried out one massive twitter campaign on the forum which was even paying more than others and they look serious. But unfortunately they just faze out from the space like an air. Not until Op draw an attention to it by creating the thread. If its scam, then its so good that it didn't get the chance to even start walking not to talk of running because a lot of people would have lost their investments.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: August 14, 2017, 08:33:20 PM
Last time I checked the value of bitcoin, 5 months ago i think, it is just 2500$, it is amazing how quick the value of bitcoin rises.

Five months is a long time ago and if my memory serves me right, as at the last five months, we were no where near $2500 but today, the story has changed which is courtesy to everyone who worked tirelessly to ensure confidence returns to bitcoin after the era of exorbitant transaction fees and hopefully this can be sustained with the upcoming activation which is believe will further increase the confidence.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you consider yourself as experienced traders? on: August 14, 2017, 11:51:19 AM
in case you do. I'm building in the last few months a tool that will help cryptocurrency traders in this crazy big market:).
the tool will collect data from all around the web and summarize it in a beautifully simple way in real time.

I'm looking for people that will test my google chrome extension widget and give me feedback. In the next few days, i will release the first version and I'm looking for cool people that want to take apart of something that will help them as traders but also for the cryptocurrency community!

If you're interested let me know here, or pm me:)

Now I understand your point because the title really looks misleading and this should be under the section trading discussion of the forum. Although, what you are offering has been offered before but with you coming on board as a newbie, I am sure some level of scepticism will be attached due to the insecurity around the crypto-space. I would suggest you try build trust first because for me, I am not adding any extension I don't trust.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: August 14, 2017, 09:18:48 AM
My favorite game has been and will remain as soccer because just the surest way to win. In that some games are just sure to be won irrespective of the odds no matter how low it is. I also don't have to disturb myself with unnecessary analysis. I just place the bet on the ones I am most sure, then I check back later to see that it has been delivered and I cash out my winnings as simple as that. No stress.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret? on: August 13, 2017, 09:29:18 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

Really, it is a very regrettable thing. But if you continue to just regret it is something wrong. It's not too late to start and share the benefits of bitcoin right now. Use the rest of your age to interfere in its development. Forget your regrets in the past, and start joining.  Cool

The only person who should feel any form of regret is someone who heard about it but didn't take any action or was skeptical about and not someone like me when at the point of hearing about it I took action which means the beginning of bitcoin started  for me at that time and I came in early compared to those that would be coming in now or even next month. I am happy I didn't have to wait any extra time when I heard about this great invention.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that in near future BTC would be connected with mobile number? on: August 13, 2017, 07:13:50 PM
No. Hell no. A BTC address affiliated with a mobile number is a huge problem in terms of anonymity. One of the pros of bitcoin is being somewhat anonymous to some extent, due to wallet addresses not being affiliated with any personal data or information that the wallet owner has. Connecting wallets/addresses to a mobile number will render this feature useless. You can use those services if you want. But don't come crying here saying that you lost your bitcoins because the service provider got hacked.

This important feature of bitcoin which is anonymity will be under threat if this should happen but that does not mean it won't happen considering that there are several companies coming into bitcoin and not everyone wants to be anonymous and at the same time people are ready to give up anonymity for convenience which that might bring about. Using the banking system for example, with my phone number, I can virtually do anything without having to open an app or connected to the internet.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: is there any chance to BTC value go down? on: August 13, 2017, 06:19:44 PM
BTC value is increased by nearly $200 daily.

is there any chance to BTC value go down in any period of time?

If that happens how about all these people who hold BTC as an investment?

Even though it might seems very unlikely because of what is being witnessed, but its very possible and it might even happen without any notification or even with any major events to tie it with. Its the crypto world anything can happen but what I am after is to have genuine reasons for whatever is happening and with that, we are sure that there is surely a bouncing back.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Misconception About Cryptocurrency on: August 13, 2017, 03:33:04 PM
I think I will have to agree with him because even with my first into the crypto-world, I had the misconception with several negative readings on the internet concerning the subject matter and this put some fear into me which was responsible for the making of some rash decisions but one year after I joined, with others counting eight or nine years, I concluded that its a myth that hopefully will not come true.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your children a favour and save bitcoin NOW on: August 13, 2017, 01:59:59 PM
With the way things are going it seems the best investment anyone can give now is bitcoin but for me, rather than giving the guy at 18, I will rather keep it for his/her education to any length which by that time, j won't bother myself at all ask to where to get additional money for that. It would be so sure that it would be taken care of by the investment of the past daddy had taken.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My customer brother story of BTC on: August 13, 2017, 12:25:28 PM
Here is one guy yesterday meet him and talk a little business ( he is IT business and make online apps for healty or doctors somethng like that ) and i just ask "do you know bitcoin? "

He said : yes we now and we a millionare now
I' m suprised but how is that ?
He said my brother position

By the end of 2011, Bitcoin took about 5000 6000 dollars at the beginning of 2012. He put it in his cold wallet and  for a while last year until he found that hard disk and  remember the Bitcoin in it investment will be higher position now

, and now he is very happy and indeed as a belly he does not believe me and 5000$ 6000$  why I do not invest  when I buy
And  think now  still very angry to me

Did you believe ? It is a good dream for one guy who is believe bitcoin and now position .

Then he left and all night

thought about this event yesterday evening if someone on time had found us on the recommendation to me

His story is something everyone will need to relate with at some point whether now or in the future because of the potential embedded in bitcoin that ensures that value creation is added to everyone who believe in it whether in the past, now, or the future. And everyone of who joined later at this time will have the same story in five years to those who will be joining in then. The fact is let's wait as our own time is coming and its coming fast and very soon.
260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still don't believe BTC can reach 5K, then 10K and then 50K? on: August 13, 2017, 11:39:27 AM
You better believe it folks Cheesy Patience is the key.
Yeah, believe or not BTC is heading to 5000 USD. Now it has been 4000 USD.aFTER 1 august the war nodes won by BTC against BCH bitcoin will move to next phase. Unrulled coins. On november there will be war again Bitcoin2x or any names  I don't care. I think BTC will be BTC.

Its really getting interesting at this time to seat back and see the price going the upward dimension without any retreat in sight as this is something to be joyous about but for someone who had empty the vault at the time the price crashed to $1800 will be more than full of regret at this time and even could no longer afford to buy again today. Hopefully it will be sustained.
