That's one of the things I really like about bitcoin, as opposed to things like stocks. In the stock market, the number of shares for a given company can ebb and flow based on buybacks, stock options granted, and other factors. With bitcoin, the only thing that affects supply is the number of newly-mined btc, and that isn't going to keep happening forever. The price of bitcoin is thus determined almost entirely by demand, and though I'm quite happy that it's above $5000 right now I'm not sure if it'll stay there. There's definitely some bullish sentiment present, but we all know that can change in a second. Personally, I'm also happy that I actually own some bitcoin during a rise like this, and I haven't sold any lately. Usually when the price starts to crackle, I've got nothing. There's one thing I'm sure for the nice and slow increase of bitcoin price, it's about the increase in confidence of bitcoin investors. The demand for bitcoin is not changing. It's the confidence that determine if they will withdraw their bitcoin from the market and hold or put them in the market. This is the reason why cryptocurrency price is based on speculations. As confidence builds up, then the bulls are ready to roll. Don't expect to much this year. Let's.just hope for the best. |

We can't blame those people who sold their coins last year. There are coins which are meant to decrease and decrease in value until it is dead. Some investors are cutting their losses while others are believers. However, there are coins who are fundamentally strong coins, meaning these coins will go ip and then rebound. Juat be diligent enough to determine which among these hundreds of coins are they. No absolute strategy here in cryptocurrency.

The best thing you can do right now is to make use of this bearish market. Invest for long term. It may not reward you now but soon the time will be there when the investors of today will become rich because of their timely move. So what i suggest is to do a job now, get some money, don't use all of them, invest a portion of it in crypto and keep doing it till the time comes to get rewarded big.

Is it a good idea in your opinion for me to wait for ethereum price to increase so I can sell it and move the money to more alt coins or should I just move the current amount of ethereum to other altcoins right now?  If you are confident with it, I don't see any wrong if you do it. But if you have a doubt better not to continue your plan dude, rather you regret in the end because of the decision you are going to make. Though, Ethereum is one of the good and potential coins in crypto currency nowadays. |

Centralized financial companies are constantly working on solutions to make transactions between different parties as easy as possible, however, the cryptocurrency and blockchain payment solutions are very complicated for the average person to use.
Until this is put in check, cryptocurrency payments will never have a chance to overcome fist.
Maybe for others it is complicated because of the situation of the bear market I guess. But for me, it is not of course. Instead it is a good chance for us to take advantage to buy those coins that are potentials before and now suddenly dumped its price value. |

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole ICO world, and BTCtalk as well. I've been reading about a lot of scammy ICOs that take people's money and run away. I'm looking to invest in a couple of ICOs but have no way of knowing if they are good or not. Can anyone tell me how I can go about doing this without losing any money?
In checking good ico or not, first you must check the flow of their project through their whitepaper, then their team must also not a fake it should be real not a dummy only, then they must have a huge community in their project. And having an escrow is an advantage too. Do not be deceive by their promises. |

Is it normal that an ICO has a Hard Cap of 72 million dollar? And as of now I cant find the total supply of the coin so that I can compute the total supply and the value per coin, and I guess they should also put the total supply in their site. What do you think?
