241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 01, 2020, 04:44:12 PM
Buying and holding cryptos and then selling at a later date for profit is also part of trading. So i don't know why people think Holding cryptos is investing while day trading cryptos is well, just trading.
It's all the same, the only difference is the time factor,

A More befitting comparison would be Long term HODL vs Day Trading. I think people are misusing the word investing and trading a lot.
Exactly, that is what I've been thinking. There is no much difference between trading and investment, they only vary on the time frame. Investing is much like trading where you buy and sell, also it can be nearly comparable on long-term trading. Hence there's no need to compare how big or how much these two can give.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: March 01, 2020, 03:52:44 PM
This article shows four ways to get lucky:

1. Maximize Your Chances to Be Lucky

2. Listen to Your Instincts

3. Expect to Be Lucky

4. Look on the Bright Side

Can these steps make you lucky?!!To win the lottery you must get lucky first of all.
Do you have a way to make you lucky most of the time?
I don't believe that you can bring out the luck on your own because as far as I know and based on my own experience luck works randomly and naturally, you will never know when it will work. And if these you've mentioned steps will trigger anyone's luck then there will be always winners in the lottery and for sure this will destroy the gambling industry as well. This is one of the challenges in the gambling industry to draw out your luck and win that is what makes it somehow fun.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN we should sell BTC after halving as a LONG-TERM invest? on: March 01, 2020, 03:20:41 PM
most people believe that after halving btc price will go up to near 20k but most important question is WHEN and whats that road looks like. imagine  after btc go to 16k or 17k so many people will sell btc in that price so  price will dump unless Whales of btc push buy in markets . in the other hand we have so many good fundamental for growing btc price and developing blockchains all around the world.
the main question also remains that which price is best to sell btc after halving!

Frankly, I have no idea when to sell my holdings but as long as we are in the bearish trend I won't make any move. Everybody expects that Bitcoin will skyrocket after halving event this year because they reasoned out that it will be the same just like the past Bitcoin halving. Anyway, as I've said I had no idea when to sell, perhaps I will do it if I saw that my holding will earn such a reasonable profit. One thing I also anticipated that as Bitcoin hits 16k to 17k worth of BTC it will create a FOMO so everyone will sell their assets.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: March 01, 2020, 02:35:22 PM
Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency, which of the two do you think better? There so many differences between those two kinds of currency, but what currency do you prefer more, what currency suits your wants and needs,
Actually, I was fan of cryptocurrencies over Fiat because I am the type of person who usually spend my money online yet in term of convenience it is really suite my taste. However, the problem is that the place where I belong does not have that much establishment who accept crypto as a payment so I had no choice but to convert this on Fiat before to spend them. But once it is fully accepted in our society then I will probably always use it.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways in which you can promote bitcoin. on: March 01, 2020, 11:22:53 AM
There are many ways to promote bitcoin. You can watch this video (https://youtu.be/qzwf1AQxqM0) of mine to learn more on several ways in which you can contribute to the promotion of bitcoin. I hope the video is helpful because making it was like building Rome (Rome was not built in a day).😁😁
I'll be very grateful if you can list more ways so we all can have something we can do to support the growth of bitcoin. Thanks a lot for promoting bitcoin. Yea, that reminds me; you can make bitcoin arts too and publicise them.
I've watched your video and I really appreciated it knowing that making an animation is not that easy and eats a lot of time so I applaud for your efforts.

It is a great way to know that there are peoples who are willing to give their time and efforts just to promote this kind of technology and based on my experience it is not that easy because there are people are prepared to know these things coz they always thought this is kind of scheme. But what I am thinking is that in order to make it happen help of media is necessary the fact that most of the people believe in them. Also just like what OP mentioned in his video, making an article that talks about bitcoin and share it in all social media platforms, in that way it could be a great way to promote Bitcoin in public.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 29, 2020, 04:53:24 PM

Anyways past can't changed. If you are still try to keep you alive in crypto is keep calm, Trust in your choice, and HODL it. One more thing you should be in
a very potential coin, if you are HODLING shit coins, So you need to be brave and jump into a better coins.

Hope this will help you.

I like this one. I also believe that if you wanted to survive in this kind of market you should have patience first because market it unpredictable we never know when it will make a move whether to pump or dip. One tips is that don't waste your time and money on investing on such shitcoins that has no future but rather choose those coin who are placed at the top coz they'll surely give a good profit.
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: February 29, 2020, 04:21:05 PM
Just like everyone I will choose trading among the list because first of all Gambling is not a way to earn profit but rather it is supposedly use for fun and non other than that. While Binary trading on the other hand posses an extreme risk that I would never to place my investment no matter what happen, because it is more likely investing in a investment that has low chance of giving a return.
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another decline of BTC expected on: February 29, 2020, 03:19:21 PM
https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2020/02/btc-hold-trend-line-decline
Is Bitcoin likely to keep going down, in your opinion? Are you selling/buying it?

Suddenly people are in panic about Bitcoin's dip when it is recovering after the dip, we cannot just create FUDS every time it goes down, this is a highly volatile market always expect the unexpected I'm buying more but I'm not buying that article's story line.
Exactly, if you've been here in this industry for such a long time then this will not be that much problem coz you're already know how to handle this things. Market is indeed volatile thus expect that there will be unexpected fluctuation occur in a single amount of time so let's not get surprise about it and create anymore FUD.

Is Bitcoin likely to keep going down, in your opinion? Are you selling/buying it?
Selling our coins would be kind worse option, but buying which is more likely reasonable especially if you have more funds to invest with. In my case, I think I bought enough so I guess I'll wait till it goes up again and wait for bull trend to comes.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: February 27, 2020, 04:13:34 PM
Well I think it is possible to reach the worth of $5000 of Eth however, it will take time probably few decades will past before ETH reach it. This won't happen in a small amount of time even if there's bull trend happen because if you will take a look way back 2017 where the market is on hype it the only ATH we've seen is around $1400 and if the halving will really bring a prosper to all coins in the market then we could only see worth of $2000 / ETH.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: February 27, 2020, 02:56:10 PM
There are a lot of factors that should be considering in order to lessen the risks in trading. First we must identify first what type of trader are we, are we passive trader or are we a active trader? By identifying that, we can knownwhat type of strategy that is applicable to use. Strategies of long term and short tern trader are not the same so it is better if we will know what type of trader are we. The second is we should be prepared on unexpected situation because it is a game of probability where there are always chances of winning and losing.

We should also focus on our risk and management, it is the best way if we want to lessen the risks in trading. We should always have a plan before a trade where we can create tactics and specially cut loss strategy. Diversification is also matter and be sure that do not invest all of your money in just 1 coin. Spread it in 3-5 altcoins because it is the preferable diversification. We cannot totally remove the risks but we can lessen it if we really understand the market and if we know what we are doing.
Very well said. There's no way we can remove the risk upon our trade but what we can do is to reduce it. I like the idea of having a plan before make a trade, this can everything on our trade because if we have it there's no way that we can lose to our trading track.

Diversifying indeed was one of the best strategy to reduce the risk, I think it is not necessary to be positive or negative correlated with each other because stock market is different from the crypto market we know. Now in choosing where tokens to invest, top ranked coins would be perfectly fit to place your investment, don't think of investing in random coins coz that will only increase the risk exposure of your funds.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 27, 2020, 01:08:17 PM
But many people are playing gambling for fun, but after they enjoy the games, they forget about controlling themselves. They can spend more money because they want to win in gambling. That will be a sign for them to get the effect and addicted.
Meaning they aren't gambling for fun. Having fun isn't their main priority but to get profit. Yes they are enjoying but if you are a disciplined person, you must know your limits. If you gamble for fun then just gamble for fun and if you lose then stop and if you win then you must learn when to stop too.

These gamblers who forget to control themselves when they are gambling have a high chance that they will get addicted into it especially if they are winning always. Their main purpose which is to have fun has been changed to win money Cheesy.

Sometimes, a disciplined person can forget about that because of the temptations of gambling games and winning money. In the beginning, they remember about the limits, but after a few rounds, they don't know that because they become greedy, chasing more winning. It is hard always to control and disciplined in something that we like because that will always attract us to do more and more.

They can get addicted in a short time if they don't realize that winning in gambling doesn't mean that we can get more winning. Perhaps, if they can recognize if they win, that will be the time for them to stop gambling.
Precisely, if you are a kind of person who are much unto playing gambling whether you use only it for fun there's a high possibility that that person will eventually fall into becoming an addict. At first we cannot able to tell if we are already been an addicted to it in fact someone who near to us will discover it like our families and friends. Hence, if you don't want to become an addict then leave as soon as possible.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin needs to be in a bull market before the halving on: February 27, 2020, 10:46:29 AM
I might not pay attention to that because my goal is to hold bitcoin until halving is finished. If there is a bear market in March-April, it will be an opportunity for those who want to invest more. however, I am a person who believes that before halving, the price of bitcoin will rise. at the moment the price of bitcoin may go down, but at the beginning of March, I'm pretty sure the price will recover and return to exceed the price of $ 10,000.
Same here bro, I am type of person who used to hold until the halving is done. Because I do believe that after halving and if you take a look for past halving it brings good impact on bitcoins price or we could simply say a bullish trend. But if Bitcoin will drop before the halving then it is good since everyone will have to accumulate more.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT BITCOIN on: February 27, 2020, 05:46:22 AM
That's nice! If he went to another person, he might have been scammed. Great thing that he went to you and that you tried to teach him even a small lesson and gave him some advice what to do incase someone will try to trick him.
This should how we act if there's someone who's willing to learn Bitcoin. Instead of fooling them, we should teach them the right and proper things they need to learn.
He is indeed lucky to meet someone like you due to the fact that there's a large portion of scammers roaming in this community. In fact I've experienced this kind of scheme before when I was a newbie, but luckily I only had a little amount way back then. Moreover, scammers was one of the reason is why ICOs failed to reign over a short amount of time.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Resist all temptation to fomo on: February 22, 2020, 04:41:30 PM
Im sure we are all aware what fomo means.

Bitcoin has indeed ran a good race to over 10 000$ and it has pushed up the prices of altcoins simultaneously

Do a proper root research before getting into altcoins, resist all temptation to fomo.

Because when btc moons, the dead alts can rise momentarily only

NB, FOMO is not a good feeling during the bulls
FOMO was one of the worst thing you can felt upon your trading, this could make worse your trading and most of the newcomers fall into this. The secret is always be patient because market always fluctuate just for an example if you buy now even if the price is not perfect to buy you could still get profit as soon as the market enters the bull and set a new ATH.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too scared to go for altcoins? on: February 22, 2020, 04:04:46 PM
[...]

1. Bitcoin Gold
2. Bitcoin Diamond
3. Bitcoin Cash
4. Lightening Bitcoin
5. Bitcoin Private

[...]

Still the center of attention is bitcoin and the other BCHs are still below that and the range is still good for other altcoins in my opinion.
Look Ethereum is now soaring better and has already redeemed $ 250 that means that altcoin is still hopeful for investment. I need to pay attention to this coin because in 24 hours this coin goes up quite high.
Indeed, however, just only few altcoins who are worthy of our investment because it is the fact that most of the alts are shitcoins and cannot give a decent profit as what top ranked coins can give. Regarding on the post of OP only the BCH among other coins in the list that is getting a good position in the market thus Bitcoin cash would be kinda profitable.
256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: February 22, 2020, 03:43:04 PM
I’m a newbie in trading. I want to improve my trading skills. I have heard some experienced trader said that I should learn and read more before start, and also get some experience. Trading requires a lot of patience and hard work, learn about the way to analyze the price chart, when they can be able to analyze price chart they will know the best time to buy and sell and know which one is the best coin to trade…
I tried one but I falied. There is something I don’t know? Please tell me more.

You've mentioned that you only tried it once and knowing that I now know what act you must do in order to improve your trading and that is to keep trading. Keep practicing and used only a small amount of funds so that even if you lose, it would not be severe. If you've experienced loss then don't stop but rather keep it go as you learned from it. I bet you have already know the fundamentals so I think practice will be perfectly solution for this problem.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: February 21, 2020, 03:43:19 PM
Honestly, decentralized exchanges have better security to store our funds compared to centralized exchanges as there's no centralized server that can be targeted by hackers. However, as I have read it is too early for decentralized exchanges to be implemented and needed a lot of development. The things that hinder decentralized to enter the mainstream because of liquidity: liquidity comes down to how easily you can enter and exit a trade. Next is leverage in which decentralized exchanges were at disadvantages. And lastly, is the user experience, trading in decentralized exchanges offers a fewer trading option which gives different experience especially on newcomers.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 21, 2020, 02:44:26 PM
Luckily my addiction level didn't get rise into level 4 to 6, I've only stayed at level 1 to 3 because even though I meet crypto gambling at the early stage I still prioritize my studies. And as time goes by it drop to level 0 where I only used to play just for fun and relieve my boredom. I often play gambling twice a month when I felt to. Probably, I never ended up being a gambling addict because I focus much to earn via this forum, participating in some campaign and I found out that it was not all go in vain.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: February 21, 2020, 01:55:11 PM
Guys, It's time we need to be more cautious and avoid panic sell or massive buy we might see more of these market fluctuations which might be tempting as well as bothering. Please consider a broader picture before making any decision and consult with fellow peers rather than falling for a bull trap or panic sell, lets learn from our mistakes we made in the past.

Fluctuations are quite normal, I think that everyone has learned that so far. Buz I guess there are always some who fall under influence and make reckless decisions. Panic selling happens every time when price starts falling and despite all information about volatility, market and how whole crypto system is functioning but some will never learn or they just can't control their emotions and make decisions with cool head.
Very well said. No matter what we do we can't change the fact that people do still fall under this circumstances. Admit it to ourselves that even if we the persons who already have an experience in this community still fall for these panic selling. In crypto, it is tough to read the movement of the market thus we can only vaguely tell if it is the right time to sell or buy, it is hard to make decisions out from this kind of market, this requires an intense research for you to able to improve the outcome.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WINNING THE GAME AGAINST BAD PROJECTS on: February 20, 2020, 03:46:07 PM
Hello guys, having been here for a while now, I feel that having a higher percentage of your portfolio on bitcoin and maybe the rest 30 or 35% on already good and established altcoins like ETH, BCH, Stellar, brave. BNB, Vchain, etc, is a good way of staying away from useless projects. I have come to an understanding that running after new promising projects always leave you heartbroken in 97times, and running after IEO to quickly make up for past losses lead to more havoc on your fund. So stick to the safe zone.
If you wanted to stay away from bad projects then I will highly recommend to make some research first about it, review all the things with regard with the project and by that you can now somehow classify what are the good to invest and what are not. Or you could just invest in top ranked coins just like what you have mentioned just to guaranteed.
