241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For newbies only on: February 26, 2020, 12:51:37 PM
That's the first thing need to do if we play store user, Must be careful always downloading mobile wallet and can be deposited altcoins on them. Because there are times that can going to be scam and lost your coins you have in your wallet. Most of the mobile wallet we download in the play store are not safe enough so ask first to those person using on it before to do some move.
It is true, we must be careful since being aware is not enough to avoid this kind of scam. We should always remember that not all application in playstore is legit. And of course, it is better to download wallet files directly from the legit websites to avoid downloading the cloned wallets or those fake wallets createf by scammers.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 26, 2020, 11:51:17 AM
which is forgetting your priority,

No more debate, because of this gambling is a threat. In real life people always have priority and should catch it before too late, can't be undone. If someone says they can manage time and control emotion, that is non sense. As long bonus deposit still exist they will use and try it, soon or later addicted will become their part of life. Leave gambling for your future and family, it's worth to be done.
It is a choice as for me, because gambling was originally made to let us or to have some fun, however, it also become the reason why people becomes greedy which is the main reason why it is considered as a threat. I know it is hard to control being greedy, but if you really want to stop or avoid getting addicted, you can as long as it is your choice.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT BITCOIN on: February 26, 2020, 11:10:07 AM
That is the problem with newbies, they just listen to what they heard and then they will take an action immediately, they are willing to provide money for an easy return of money.
Luckily, you have enough knowledge to share to him about how bitcoin really works. You just save him from making a wrong decision.

Hopefully, he will listen to what you have said and absorb every knowledge you pass on to him.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: February 25, 2020, 02:55:15 PM
No, because there is no tax regulation for cryptocurrency in our country. But in real life gambling, we have this law that we should report all gambling winnings since it is taxable.
The reason why I don't keep a record is because I hate tracking my gameplay especially my losses. I have the feeling that if I keep it on a spreadsheet, I might chase my losses and that will make me more addicted to gambling.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 11:27:54 AM
why not ? if you are confident of your skills on gambling then why not try what your planning  . its your friend anyway and he said that he are verry willing  . if you cant paid , i have a sense that he will wont scolded you  or hated you  but dont do this to other people that you dont really know because you can be on big trouble if ever you cant pay  . never tried gambling with loaned money but i do loan money for other purposes  and sometimes i gamble some and win some and then i pay my loans on time  .
I disagree with you,
The fact that he is thinking to use the money he was about to borrow to gamble is not a good idea, it is like you are asking someone to get you in a situation you can't easily escape with. Even if OP's friend is willing to lend him money, gambling is not a better choice.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 25, 2020, 10:59:03 AM
In this kind of situation, you should be responsible when you are holding a coin. Whether it is one of the top altcoins or not.
Not because the coin that you are holding is very low, doesn't mean that you will just leave it behind for years.
Keeping yourself updated for the project is a must, it is your responsibility to avoid getting your investment put to waste.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 25, 2020, 10:25:06 AM
Yes, and most of the gamblers have this feeling.
From my experience, every time I lost from gambling, I always feel like the need for taking back all of my losses right away.
But instead of taking it back and making a profit, I always end up losing more.
Then I realized that this is not the right thing to do, chasing your losses is not the thing we should do, it is something that gamblers should be avoided to have more losses than we currently have.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Found old wallet with 0.5 BTC on: February 25, 2020, 09:56:58 AM
You need the ledger of the original owner of that wallet,
Even if you have the wallet file you cannot have the full authority to use or send the funds inside of it since it is connected to a Ledger that protects its original owner from transferring his funds to another wallet.

Whatever help you get, there is no way to transfer that unless you have the device to enable the withdrawal from that wallet.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: February 25, 2020, 08:31:09 AM
yeah it was, there are people with short understanding in some things and judging people without knowing whats the roots of everything.

for example we are going in casino for fun but comes out almost 3x a week because i have a tourist visitor and they want to enjoy the vacation so going out each time is necessary ,but my neighbor took this as bad habits and tell other people that i am addicted to gambling lol.

but actually?i dont care what they say or think because i know myself and i also knew that i am not that king of what they think.
You know, this is also the same situation I have recently.
My friends and I are having fun through different activities and gambling is one of those, as soon as the people near us know that we are gambling, they always talk about us like we did something bad to them.

But yes, we also don't care about their toxicity. We don't want to make any scene, that's why we just don't give any time to them.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 13, 2020, 12:24:23 PM
I am not totally addicted but I know someone who overcomes being addicted. He was addicted to casino games and even sell his own tangible assets just to get enough money to start playing. Imagine how addicted he is, and the one who help him is his wife, even if he did a terrible mistake, his wife still accepts him with open arms. That is when he really stop playing, until today he doesn't play and he focused more on working hard to earn enough money.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 10, 2020, 11:03:35 AM
I think for everyone else, it is very difficult to stop when winning because the vibes and excitements it brings makes you want to continue.

Likewise, it is equally had to stop when losing.

But for me, i have my limits when betting, so either i win excessively or lose distinctively. I am unshaked.
It is true, the reason behind it is because they are still hoping for more winnings.
As long as we won, we still feel that we are lucky and more winnings will come until we can't stop ourselves from playing.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: February 10, 2020, 12:46:26 AM
~~I only do it whenever I have extra income and I make sure that I wouldn't be trapped by the desire of winning cause that may lead me to higher loss if unfortunate.~~
Good man! You did the right way, mate. It is true that just use the extra money for gambling and never think to spend your main money. Remember that we have a lot of things to fulfill daily, weekly, or even monthly. It should be a big problem if we spend all the money just for gambling. And yes, don't be greedy since it will take you down at the end.   Wink
Money is important nowadays to survive, it's the right choice to spend it on the right things that will let you live. I wonder why people keep gambling even they knew that once they lose they will regret it. Gamble is just entertainment and shouldn't be tolerated to do it every day because you'll get addicted to it.
It is true, you will be having a hard time if you don't have money. Money is everything in this world we live on. That's why spending it on the right way should be done by an individual.
You are wondering why people keep on gambling? That's because they are hoping to win an easy money, it is all about winning, and they will regret only if they lose. Most gamblers don't think of it as an entertainment due to the possible profit they can get.

Really nice to see people are being good for gambling and they are getting interested in gambling. We make a list of days and then I gamble only in my free days. I think we should not disturb our study for gambling and gamble only if we get spare time from our daily working or studying routine as I use to gamble only in my free time and mostly at night time.
Yes , we all know that gambling really makes us happy but keep in mind that we should make our priority in order so that we can have a peace in the future and it can help us in many things as well. Study first and then gamble when you graduate, or gambler when it is after your exam but I really dont recommended it. You should study before gamble.
Study is not enough, you should be rich before gambling so you can't have problems when you lose a lot.
That might be a problem later on, mate. Even if you become rich and start playing, losing money is still a problem especially if you lose a lot. This will only lead to losing all your money in the end.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 09, 2020, 11:36:46 PM
If you did a huge mistake then there's a possibility for you to quit gambling. -snip-
Of course, but will people quit from gambling just after did huge mistake? For example, lose your family/real-life job because of a huge debt. I think people don't quit for these reasons, they should be aware of the risks and know the limit.
It depends mate, if that people do realize the things he should prioritize after that incident whether he lose his job or someone who's part of his family, maybe that would be the reason for someone to stop from playing.

-snip- My purpose of gambling is just an entertainment, you shouldn't gambling for profit only -snip-
Whatever the purpose is okay as long as you know the risk and limit. Most people seem to gamble for money, so we don't deny that gambling is for profits. If you just gamble to entertain yourself, it is no problem. But I doubt many people do as you did.
Not most, everyone is playing for the same main reason. Even if most people tend to say that their are just playing for fun, I don't believe that they actually just playing without eagerness to win. I don't think that people will just throw their money in a gambling house while having fun.

255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 06, 2020, 07:35:18 AM
...

First time seeing this thread and pretty much curious about the topic, and after seeing that the OP is stating that a plane is being raffled, well it is a good thing that the maintaining cost will be provided by the government that will be a big save after getting your hands on a plane, but in my opinion, this is not for all people if a normal person could get a hands-on this plane then I think this could carry a huge burden, and this is a sure exclusive for their countrymen only because the parking lot for this plane is an airport and ones can not afford an airport of his own right? might as well sell it in an auction or donate it for a common cause.

The maintenance cost will be paid by the government the first year or the first 2 years, they are not sure about this decision yet, but after that, the winner will be fucked up, because the maintenance cost is just too high for a simple mortal like us.
And that will lead for the winner for having no other option but to sell it back to the government or maybe to someone who has the capability to handle the expenses for this transportation vehicle.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Crypto on: February 02, 2020, 01:04:03 PM
Bitcoin can be a good investment, it only becomes a good investment if you know many important things about it.
It is wise to invest that much to bitcoin since bitcoin is a good investment when it comes to long term investment. However, you should invest only the amount you can risk, meaning to say, the amount which you can take to lose. If you can risk your savings which amounts $15k to bitcoin, you can go for it but the final decision will be yours.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 29, 2020, 10:54:11 AM
If he will fight Manny Pacquiao he will just end up losing, but still, I am expecting a great fight between them.
If we pay for the ticket or the PPV, then it's just right to expect a great fight.

Not being bias, but Mcgregor will only look like a kid facing a legend.
This is going to happen, it's not being bias, it's telling the truth, I hope that Manny would knock him out so he will stop challenging boxing superstars.
That is definitely what's gonna happen  Grin Grin
Manny will just knock him out, though it won't be easy as we imagine right now but that would be the end result.
Mcgregor might be the superstar in UFC, but this will be his biggest mistake trying to face the all-time champion in boxing.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fish arcade on: January 29, 2020, 10:25:42 AM
I've seen this games on arcades only. The demand on it in crypto is too low since you will need to have to put in a lot of money on it to be able to enjoy the game and to win big.

Most games in crypto gambling requires are luck based and this arcade game somehow tests your shooting skills and strategy also. As far as I remember I've seen a similar game in yeaz.win before, but their site is no longer operating.
I can only see this kind of game in malls and it is very popular, about the demand, I think it will depend on how easy it is to use (user-friendly) and maybe some events and bonuses will attract more players.

And that is what makes it different and attractive. I am also a gambler and that is what I am looking for when it comes to games, card games, dice games, etc. is very common right now. If this kind of game will exist, I know a lot of people will participate.

I remember that game, I also tried that, sadly it suddenly disappear after they announced their new update, their maintenance took months but then after, they don't come back to operate again.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 27, 2020, 09:44:32 AM
I never would have thought that this tragic event will happen so sudden. I woke up seeing news about Kobe's death and I can't believe for what happen to him and his daughter. At first, I thought it was just another lie just to hype the social media, but then I confirmed it later on. Life is really short but he will stay forever in our heart, the legend, Kobe, rest in peace.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for favourite cryptos used on Gambling. on: January 27, 2020, 09:04:14 AM
I wasn't able to use any other crypto than bitcoin in gambling. Many gamblers will surely appreciate it if you could include xrp, eth and doge since they provide low transaction fees if we conpared it to transaction fee of bitcoin. It would be better for me since we can use the lessen transaction fee in addition for our money that was for gambling.
