241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why you should buy bitcoins NOW (now should have bought back then) on: May 04, 2017, 09:01:38 AM
Price is high now in compare to last few days so I don't think this would be the best time to buy bitcoins so I will keep my buying on hold at a moment and simply sit and watch the price movements for next couple of days and depending on that will decide whether to buy or sell my coins.
Yes, you are right, with the prices rising as it now it's indeed better to wait and see,
but if we are have the courage maybe we can buy now and hold it for the next high price.

I think price will be even higher in coming days so we can take that extra risk of buying bitcoins even at the present price and even if price goes down then you always have an choice to hold them till price bounce backs again.

You are right. The price is $1600 now. I have moved some altcoins into bitcoin and have made some profits.

I also made some decent profits

I myself went on a buying spree when Bitcoin went down below the 1,000 dollars per coin mark, though I kept the bulk of my fiat capital to buy more in the range of 800-900 dollars (but the price stopped just a little over 900 dollars). Nevertheless, I still have coins to last me all the way up to 2,000 dollars per coin. I hope there will be a sort of correction for a few hundred dollars on the way there, so I could buy back some of the coins I sold earlier
When Bitcoin hit $1,300 there was some predicting $1,700 and it looks like we are on our way.  Beware that there may be a correction at that time.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Soon Reach $1700 on: May 04, 2017, 08:43:02 AM
Bitcoin has officially breached the $1500 level in some exchanges and there seems to be no end yet on sight for the rise of its value. Some are predicting that it can hit the $1700 level many days from now but correction at that level can set in and there would some adjustments in value.

I am wondering what are the contributing factors for this continuing rally?  Please share your ideas for the enlightenment and guidance of some readers (including me).

It was interesting as I had seen some technical analysis of the trend of bitcoin price.  It waqs determined according to that analysis that if bitcoin crossed $1,300 it would move to $1,700 as you mentioned.  Simply looking at the support and resistance of the pricing on a basic level seems to support this assumption.  The question then becomes whether or not it can sustain a price over $1,700 as new support level or not.

Life isnt complicated if you ignore most of all the sensless crap around and you concentrate on the important things.  Otherwise you get lost in complication and spend your life with doing what others want from you.
I totally agree.  Lif eis a s complicated as YOU make it.  If you choose the right things for you in life and not what others choose you will find it much simpler.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: April 29, 2017, 08:07:54 PM
Hi guys!
It's often discussed here that you can't make any money from gambling, but in general it's just not true. House edge is usually quite low so the most of the money go back to players. Of course some one wins more than he bet, some one wins less and loses in the end. It's all about luck. I am sure that the most of you was lucky at least once and made some nice money. So my question goes here: How did you spend this money? Did you buy some presents for your close ones? Did you buy something for you? Did you invested it, saved it or even put back into gambling (and then made even more or lost it?)?
Share your stories Smiley)
Cheers,
OshiHugo
Unfortunately with this cycly repeating for me in the past, with wins and losses, any time i won a decent amount of money I would purchase something for myself or my wife, lke a dining room set, big TV as i knew that ultimately the money would go back into gambling with poor results
245  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: April 29, 2017, 07:30:26 PM
Yes, I am currently buying Bitcoin, although not too much.
I am buying a little bit of Bitcoin as an investment (both long term and a bit of day trading).
I agree that I would buy bitcoin as an investment and not trade to much.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: April 29, 2017, 07:19:35 PM
I think it is avery interesting question.  For the disciplined investor it is clear they are not the same.  But if you are undisciplined in your investing you may actually just be a gambler with the same odds of losing.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 NBA Playoffs! [Predict & Bet] on: April 28, 2017, 09:13:06 AM
There are some great teams this season in the playoffs but once again I think it will be GSW and Cleveland Cavilers in the NBA finals for the 3rd season in a row. I would like to see 2 other teams but I can't see it, maybe the Spurs can make it through. I think a dark horse to make it to the finals would be the Chicago Bulls who have been great this season.
I'm not sure with your prediction, the warriors are not that dominant this season and they are having a hard time with the Nurkicless Blazers, maybe let's see if they can get past the firsts round, I still believe the Blazers are underrated although they have one of the best back court duo in the person of Lillard and Mccolum.
I am not sure how you can say that GS is not as dominant when they won 67 games, averaging 69 over the last three years.  I would be surprised if SA can get there.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: April 28, 2017, 08:50:47 AM
Gambling kills many people constantly, they lose their families and everything they have.  There is always counseling and Gamblers Anonymous.  If you are one of these people, stay strong, you are not alone.
