2401  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Was Binance aware of the impending bankruptcy of FTX? on: January 25, 2023, 07:11:37 PM
I wonder why people keep on talking about Binance when it was Coindesk raised the insolvency issue of FTX to the public.
At the time of Coindesk posting of that article and the spread of rumors, Binance had already got rid of its FTT, and then news and rumors were leaked that led to the withdrawal of funds, lack of liquidity, and with mismanagement bankruptcy occurred, so Coindesk was the last point and it was possible for CZ rumors to spread without them

The best thing we can say is that if there is no water running under the bridge, it will not collapse.
2402  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Another Exchange that could Bite the Dust, crypto.com on: January 25, 2023, 06:53:57 PM
For months, rumors have been circulating about this platform, and if all these things are not enough to give you red flags, then you should seriously think about this last warning, and despite all the rumors, the platform is still acting crazy on advertising, which means that it is looking for a lot of hot money, which is Another negative indicator.

These are examples of how they behave with clients' money. Are such behaviors worthy of trust?

1) Crypto.com sent $400 million to the wrong recipient, but got it back this time
2) Crypto.com mistakenly sent a customer $7.2 million instead of a $68 refund
3) Crypto.com’s Sinking Token Stirs Fresh Anxiety After FTX Wipeout
2403  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: P2PCoindex.com scam P2P website on: January 25, 2023, 06:17:48 PM
Thank you everyone for answers and lessons. I can`t believe myself I fell for this scam, don`t know why I did this, no serious explanation as Im in crypto for some time already. I lost some funds...will not say amount, but that`s not little amount.  Anyway, hard lesson learned.
Money comes and goes, and thank God he scammed you with this amount.
Some may lose larger sums in trivial fraud, but you have to learn from the lesson and not cry over spilled milk.
You still have a chance to track down the scammer if he leaves a trace, you can try to get more information that might lead to his discovery.
The most important thing is that you have learned the lesson, and the money will inevitably be compensated.
2404  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE UNISWAP and OP Airdrop on: January 25, 2023, 05:55:59 PM
I see that greed, fear of missing out and greed is what drives people to connect their wallets blindly without even checking the link which is something that does not happen with a little caution.
Trying to close these sites is good, but the ease of creating them makes this idea absurd.
I hope to spread awareness because it is the fastest weapon.
2405  Economy / Reputation / Re: Injustice while Tagging on: January 22, 2023, 06:46:45 PM
I can guess for several reasons:

 - @Royse77 uses Telegram a lot, so he will not notice the negative of the team's trust.
 - @Royse77 runs several signature campaigns which makes the time spent checking fraud little.
 - Participants in bounty campaigns acts like bots, most of them are looking for profit, so much so that they do not bother to check ANN of the project.

There may be many reasons, but @Royse77 now knows and then, within 24 hours, we may hear a response from him and an explanation of what happened, because I do not think that he will lose his reputation because of such Bounty campaign.
2406  Other / Meta / Re: Why Does A Post Or Thread Get Locked? on: January 22, 2023, 06:25:03 PM
Your question is strange, people are free to do what they do, so I may create a topic and for any reason I close it, so your words will be logical if your question is about a specific topic or who can close a specific topic.

In general, you will not get a specific answer to a question like this, so it is better to lock this topic.
2407  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: crypto-hope.com on: January 22, 2023, 06:14:21 PM
I would like to thank all of you for the information. I didn't have any knowledge of crypto until someone suggested paying me via crypto-hope for a domain name I sell. He transferred the money internally but when I tried to withdraw the money to my trust wallet they asked me for 0,11btc in order to verify my wallet and complete the withdrawal.
This is how I got to know them. (Fortunately, I didn't give him the domain)
Thank you very much!

This is really scam. The scammer tried to scam you three times at a time. If you send the domain to him and deposit the amount, you will lose:

 - your domain.
 - The amount of Bitcoin that you will deposit.
 - Your personal data and the cost of the domain you gave him for free.

Therefore, there is no reason for you to sell your domain to an unreliable third party, no matter how tempting the amount they are trying to offer you.
2408  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: crypto-hope.com on: January 21, 2023, 02:06:20 PM
They ask for KYC and have this silly TOS ---> https://crypto-hope.com/terms-n/
I do not know where you found this site, but there is no feature that makes you prefer it, they ask for identity verification, they claim to have thousands of users, two years of experience, and yet all these details are inaccurate.

When it comes to depositing and investing, look for a reliable platform, whatever the fees, and then you can search for the best fees after making sure that it is a reliable platform.
2409  Economy / Reputation / Re: campaign manager post counts behaviors; is this accepted? on: January 21, 2023, 01:14:00 PM
The rules are the rules. If there is a rule that allows them to do so, and you agreed to the terms before joining, you cannot object.

The thing that can be objected to is if the campaign manager writes comments about the quality of your posts or asks you to develop them because I think he is asking you to improve the quality of spam, otherwise why did he appoint you in the first place if your posts are good or at least it is better to write such tips in private.

In general, you can contact the owner and explain to him the behavior of the campaign manager. If your point of view is correct, they may change the campaign manager.
2410  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recent boom tracing back to Mt Gox + FTX/celsius/terra on: January 21, 2023, 01:00:44 PM
Attempting to predict the future price will be more difficult, given that we will not gain more demand that makes changes of 30% normal, and therefore the price will be limited to a range, for example, between 100K to 500k.

All the small events that pass in the middle will not affect the final result, and for those who may have catastrophic effects in the short term, and therefore focusing on them will not be important.

What you should focus on is that the longer the time, the stronger and more stable the bottom.

I remember that celsius collapse did not cause any chaos, but the panic that followed Luna's collapse caused it.

2411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australia launches stablecoin on: January 21, 2023, 12:45:44 PM
It is like a company like Tether or Binance launches their stable coin but I see a point that this one is launched by one of biggest banks in Australia. It means something but does not means that Australian government will officially launch their own CBDC.

What surprised him was how did the regulators allow a bank to engage in such economic activities? I can understand, for example, a company like Tether and Binance, but a bank? In general, let's see if the currency will gain blind trust, as happened with Luna, or will they need more time? Will they print money out of nowhere, or will they be more careful ( 1:1 USD)?
2412  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trade Tweets with your trusted Broker on: January 21, 2023, 12:26:39 PM
Hey, sorry got what you mean now...
Now this sounds interesting, if I have some time I'll try to find out what your tool can do.
Generally, why do you hide the faces of the developer team? If you want to remain anonymous, there is no need to show the photos while hiding the face.
Also, there is no disclaimer page if any hack occurs, etc., and there is no page for how to deal with customer data.

Finally, create an advertisement topic (ANN) here ----> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0 , given that your project is profitable and not open source.
2413  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk as a Mobile App - Trick for iOS/iPhone on: January 21, 2023, 12:04:38 PM
Can you provide more screenshots? Those presented in the subject are blurry and none of them can be understood.
I think that the forum's only problem is zoom, so that if it is solved, the experience will be smoother for users, although I think that all current solutions will not provide much results.
Overall, thanks for your effort.
2414  Other / Meta / Re: Some Newbie ~ Membar got nice rank through pumpkin contest on: January 21, 2023, 10:57:05 AM
Pumpkin Contest was an account creation machine for someone. For some it was entertainment and for some it was a place to show talent. Some Newbie ~ Membar got nice rank through pumpkin contest.  The list is given below
I appreciate your effort, but such competitions happen once a year, so unless the member writes some posts, they will not be rank-up and joined the signature campaigns.
And even if they join, the quality of subsequent posts will determine whether they will continue or not.

This can become a problem if:

 - Accounts started to spam.
 - Collectively joined signature campaigns: Here, a list must be prepared and the campaign manager should be contacted.

Other than that, they won't be able to do much.
2415  Other / Meta / Re: Binance pays Google Ads with the word "bitcointalk" on: January 20, 2023, 01:00:46 PM
It appears that Binance considers this forum valuable as they are spending money advertising using this word in search.
I don't know what prompted you to this conclusion, but can you find any evidence? Google collects information about you, including using it to display its ads, and therefore searching for words such as "Bitcoin, Bitcointalk, Bitcoin talk"  is enough for these algorithms to understand that the person is looking for something related to bitcoin, and therefore the best results based on the information that has been collected from you is Binance advertisement.

Also, these advertisements differ according to the country, cookies, the nature of your search, and the information that was collected from you, and therefore it is not necessary that Binance have paid for this specific word.
2416  Economy / Economics / Re: A Bank of America Glitch Sent Customers Into a Panic Over Missing Funds on: January 20, 2023, 12:28:44 PM
What can an average citizen do? Adoption will force you to use any service, no matter how bad it is, because it is fast and provides a perfect solution to your current problem. Therefore, people will complain, start thinking about alternatives, and will return to the old service whenever they feel that it provides them with quick solutions and is used by all their friends/family.

It is not limited to banking services, but even social media. There are many excellent options and alternatives, but the largest number of users is the one who has the say in the end.

If we see an increase in Bitcoin adoption and scalability solutions are available, then they will be excellent alternatives to banking services and may deal them a fatal blow.
2417  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTCC exchange, discussion, reviews, opinion on: January 20, 2023, 12:17:10 PM
It is one of the oldest platforms that I heard, although I did not use it, but as far as I know, the platform has a lot of hidden fees, and therefore you will find that most of your profits have been lost because of these fees, which do not appear until you decide to click on the button (or after it, based on the fact that you will not read the conditions the service).

In any case, there are many better services, so there is nothing to force you to use them.
2418  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Start of a Bull Season on Bitcoin? Or a Trap? on: January 20, 2023, 12:05:52 PM
The price did not head away from the bottom, and therefore there is no indication of future rises, but the most important thing is more confirming signs about the bottom of this cycle, which may remain $15,000 for a long time, and therefore it is unlikely in the future that Bitcoin will be at a price lower than these prices.

So, all that the recent rise tells us about is the strength of the bottom, so that it will not be broken except by an exceptional event, and it will not tell us anything about the top.
2419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australia launches stablecoin on: January 20, 2023, 10:02:39 AM
I do not know how reliable this news is, but it does not refer to the Central Bank of Australia (or whatever its name is), but rather the National Australia Bank, which is one of the largest banks in the country, and therefore the government has nothing to do with this news.
I also do not think that a country should build a stable currency on a network that it does not control and therefore may not have control over transactions, in addition to the need for citizens to buy Ethereum for gas costs.

Quote
The purpose of AUDN would be to allow its customers to settle transactions on blockchain technology in real time using Australian dollars, NAB said. AUDN could also be used for several other purposes including "carbon credit trading, overseas money transfers and repurchase agreements," NAB’s Chief Innovation officer Howard Silby told AFR.

They seem to be closer to USDT, USDB.

It's great to see how you've evolved over the last few years and how your writing has evolved over the past few years.
More important than the number of posts is the extent of their impact. Many accounts have thousands of posts, and no one benefited from them, and some with one or two posts and changed a lot.
Generally congratulations.
