Excellent initiative, BitcoinFX!
Our coding team could probably compile a wallet for the raspberry. This would be a great way to advertise mintcoin, especially if can secure some advertisement. Could the marketing team handle this? (if anyone wants to join the marketing team, contact me)
there is already a raspberry pi wallet for NXT which runs on solar energy. it is a nice gimmick but i don't think it will be used by a lot of people. it takes some time to get it to work properly and most people will not invest that amount of time. further isn't there already a linux wallet for MINT? isn't it possible to put this on a raspberry pi? maybe someone can try? i think the android wallet is the best opportunity. you can always run a low spec android device with a solar adapter. great for people in warm countries I agree with that, I see the largest potential with the Andriod application. The solarpowered ras-pi is nice for show and promotion to give mint an "edge" over bitcoin.

I agree I'm very happy with my investment so far.
When did you buy into MINT?

Genuinely amazed at the number of people who have never seen a pump and dump before...
Welcome to the world of Crypto!
Not trolling, think about it Blackcoin is no different to VTC, AUR, MINT and all the other gimmicky flavour-of-the-month altcoins that came along, got pumped, dumped and disappeared.
I feel sorry for the people who lost money but you really should have known better.
I am not trolling or anything, I was a BC holder myself until yesterday. I must say it was an EPIC pump, I have followed a lot of pumps in crypto, but never one like this.

It's been interesting watching all this unfold. The refusal to acknowledge that you're in a bubble seems to be an innate human trait. Bitcoin has certainly had plenty of that too with people shouting 'new paradigm' etc.
Once it's back to peace then the proper work can begin.
Yes, I have been reading all the posts the last 3 days with great interest, it remind me a so much of the speculation thread in bitcoin in late november. Very interesting, I could not predict where this would go, but there is just to much money involved at this point, some people want to cash out: as a fellow said yesterday "I am cashing out my BC now, to get new a car", I do understand this guy, we all have to make our own decisions, in the end it is our own funds we are dealing with.

does any one have a rough estimate of when we will hit 70bill coins? how many years or months of 5% pos will there be?
I tried put the numbers into excel. Start = 18b 1 year + 20% 2 year + 15% 3 year + 10 4 year + 5% 5 year + 5% ... With these numbers do we hit 70b around 2036 Please correct me if I am wrong.

And behold the true power of mintcoin. All those fast price expanding coins without a good foundation are dropping like dead flies. And in all the panic, mincoin goes steady As a cleaver member tolled me yesterday, as long as the MINT price is stable is it good for everyone. - It will be comfortable for new investors to come in. - Low risk for merchants. - Mint holders can harvest a profit by minting.

I feel slightly rich. Sold all [[disclaimer: I know it will go much higher]] but felt like going to buy a nice fancy new car. Congrats on the car, you played the game very well. I hope you got a really nice one yesterday, remember to post pictures

20 days passed from my last minting
my wallet is 1.8, it is unlocked, and synchro..nothing happened...
@mintcointeam is it possible to check my wallet address?
It would be a very nice feature to add to mint-qt, if there where a small icon in the bottom right showing when the wallet is "minting".

You can point your miners to "stratum+tcp://mnt.coins4everyone.com:3445" and go have party -> we'll do the work for you ;-) You miner will retry automatically until it can connect to our stratum. As soon as the wallet is online, we'll compile it and run the stratum -> then your miner will connect successfully and mine many coins.
Just don't forget to create your account and worker on the pool before leaving and double check your miner's parameters (address, port, username, workername & password).
The page: mnt.coins4everyone.com do not seam to be online? http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/mnt.coins4everyone.com

Please feel free to provide constructive criticism or point out any grammar spelling errors. If you feel it's ready to go then copy paste that baby and fire it off to cavirtex.
The introduction sounds corny "Please add Mintcoin to your prestigious, distinguished, world renowned exchange." Better with "Please consider adding Mintcoin to your exchange". I think the phrase "the daddy of them all" sound unprofessional. Maybe rephrase to "one of the first PoS coins fully implemented"

Damn. I was hoping to buy into MINT some more @ ~14 sats because I know it is the best coin. Oh well, I hope I can get them for under 20 sats by the time my BTC actually arrives.
I also bought more today, its still a great price. Only thing is that I am starting to get a headache about securing my mints, no way I will install mint-qt on my dedicated BTC cold storage PC - I think I need another dedicated PC for MINT, since I do need to get it online once in a while for minting.

IMO, BC is giving all the new POS coins a good look, with the price so high, people are looking for the undervalued POS coins right now ... Mintcoin is definitely one of them.
I totally agree, same reason I bought into MINT yesterday, the price was very good 16 satoshi
