Usually, I just report everything that is not right like illegal things in a post, referral links, spam posts, and even when the post is in the wrong section so that the moderator is aware of it.
Well, sometimes I'd like to help newbies posting referral link on their thread, I often remind them what is the forum rule and posting a referral link is strictly prohibited before I reporting them [even I know that my post perhaps got deleted later on]. In most cases, --I know that newbie doesn't even read the forum rule and I just want to help them to give warning before reporting to the moderator. Indeed, appreciate those who have a great work of reporting spam posts that helps the forum clean from spam. Once you have been caught and reported once, I am sure your entire post history will deserve to report and I have a friend related to that story.
I'll keep that in mind and to them, a warning for newbies since they are just started here in the forum probably didn't know all of the rules here but only for newbies.

it is also their responsibility to take time reading of rules here maybe for jr.member up there is no excuse. Didn't think about that but there are so many spammers and low-quality posters here, they will be reported soon.
2403  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you use "report" button during posting ? on: May 26, 2020, 04:50:35 PM
I don't know if you feel this as well but I really feel good every time I report and maintaining a 100% accuracy at the same time. For me it represents that I've got a fair judgement as a person Cheesy.

It is actually a matter of a subjective nature, because each of us can make a mistake in reporting, just as one who makes a decision about what is good or bad can make a mistake. Therefore, even if we do not have 100% accuracy, it does not mean that we reported something on a bad basis.

I have few bad reports, but still accuracy is 100% so you don't have to worry too much about some bad reports. After all, it is even stated in the report dialog : "Do not worry about your accuracy too much; one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports."

Yeah, you don't really need to worry about it but I only have 1 bad report which ruined the 100 % accuracy. It just gives you satisfaction when you get a 100% accuracy  Grin so I'm not happy that getting a 1 bad report.

Usually, I just report everything that is not right like illegal things in a post, referral links, spam posts, and even when the post is in the wrong section so that the moderator is aware of it.

2405  Local / Pamilihan / Re: HELP po about sa Coins.ph on: May 26, 2020, 08:50:07 AM

Smiley
2406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Limited participants is the best option for bounty campaigns this days on: May 25, 2020, 02:06:29 PM
It seems many new bounty hunters are joining this forum weekly or monthly, every single bounty campaign is full of thousands of participants, my claim is some bounty managers don't care how many you really are, even if it's just 5$ for each bounty participants, this is plain bad, I remember telling bubbalex to reduce Cartesi signature participants and I'm glad he listened, if not the reward would be very bad....
Im not familiar with how it is done and I'm not a bounty or campaign manager either. When it comes to weekly payments of the signature campaign it is already a thing to have a limited participant since the team needs to send the payment every week it can be easily considered and it is going to be difficult for them if they are going to pay a lot of participants every week.

When it comes to Bounty most of the time there are so many participants involved in promoting could also be the reason why a lot of bounties are becoming a big scam because they could pay all of the participants. When it comes to the payment I'm sure that the manager doesn't decide that the team behind the project will be the one to decide about it what much is the payment etc. Most of the time the bounty manager is just going to send the spreadsheet and the team is going to send it to the escrow now the manager and then the escrow is the one that is going to make the payment/
2407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: May 25, 2020, 11:55:17 AM
Hard to distinguish which is better, the reason why we are seeing a lot of games in the market now is because it's goal is to serve people who has difference interest, if we will debate on this, it will be a never ending debate as we could be bias since we have our own favorite type of game.

These games are both entertaining, that's why its in the market and its' been added in different gambling sites.

Maybe let's just think of it that way.

We could just say that both games are great and entertaining but when it comes to profit for sure you could make a lot of dice games and also in slot even a small difference.

There is a bit of satisfaction when playing slots maybe because of the animation of it, also we could say that the game slot could represent gambling. For me dice is a better game it would still be a great option to play slot for sometimes in a lot of gambling websites.

2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does Gambling really mean to you? on: May 24, 2020, 05:16:59 PM
Are you a gambler? Do you really know what gambling is?
From Dictionary:
* it is the activity or practice of playing at a game of chance for money or other stakes.
* the act or practice of risking the loss of something important by taking a chance or acting recklessly.

From Gambling Comission
* In the Gambling Act 2005 gambling is defined as betting, gaming or participating in a lottery. That definition distinguishes between activities which need to be licensed and other activities which do not.

We categorise different gambling activities into what we call sectors:

1. Arcades (those for adults and those for families)
2. Betting (online, at an event or in a high street bookmakers)
3. Bingo (online or in a bingo hall)
4. Casino (online or in a casino)
5. Lotteries (raffles, tombolas, sweepstakes etc)
6. Gaming machines (fruit machines, fixed odds betting terminals, etc)

From personal experience of mine
* Gambling for me is something you have the chance of winning the prize or any value, if there is no chance then you're not gambling. Gambling requires that there is a chance you might win something for your bet.
* Gambling also considered as a way source of income, there are many gamblers who tend to play because of earning money but the sad part of it is when you tend to play for money but going out having a lack of money.
* Gambling also considered a way of entertainment, there are many people who play gamble just only for entertainment or to kill boredom, it is more fun when you play with your friends.
* Some also considered gambling as a threat, once you become addicted to gambling there are many things that could change, you may lose control, you may forget some of the responsibilities of yours, as a parent, as a child, as wife or husband, etc.
The worst thing is that you may lose all of your property and can cause depression on you.

1. I wanna ask you guys are there any other definitions for you about what gambling is?
2. What are/is the accurate definition of gambling on you based on the definition above?

For me gambling is more of a profit/income and also entertainment. It seems like whatever game that is involving money just like betting or anything we could already call that gambling. Nothing is wrong about it you just need to put it to discipline.

I do gambling because it is fun and at the same time I could also earn a good amount of profit in playing it, even when I was a child I do small bet with my friends so we could say that this is my childhood game Grin.
2411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: May 24, 2020, 04:17:55 PM
my big lesson is probably something that has happened to many people:

when I started to trade I had some habits that don't let me think correctly, I bought bitcoin for $8000 for example and when the price dropped to $7800 I still believed that the price would go up again. When I woke up the next day the price had already dropped to $7200 and I still believed that the price would recover, it would pass a few days and the price would drop to $6800, I was irritated by it ... until I sold it and the next day the price started to rise to the point of exceeding $8000. it happened to me more than 10 times until i started using Stop - Limit and that's how the cycle of losses ended, but i must say it was a great lesson i learned and it took a long time to learn

I feel you mate I lost over 400$ in this buy and selling just because I sell my bitcoin and couldn't wait for the market price to pump again.

Maybe if your not good and long term investment you should just go for buy and selling even for a small profit at least you are not losing profit, but still earning also the time that it would take before it pumps again is a lot maybe months or year so getting that profit would take a  big risk so it is not really a big loss if you already sell your bitcoin for a small pump or profit, still a win situation especially if you really need the money for an emergency.
2412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin twitter account today asks "If you met satoshi what would you say?" on: May 24, 2020, 03:57:08 PM
Who actually operates this @bitcoin {bitcoin} twitter account because they tweeted this question about 4 hours ago:

https://twitter.com/Bitcoin/status/1252640068029874180

From the comments people are saying "Hi" Sergey, Craig and satoshi.
So with the date registered August 2011 it is a very old one. Shocked

Just like the answer of the other here I would just give him a big thank you!

THANK YOU! Satoshi thank you for everything!

Aside from that surely there are side questions because we are all curious about this guy.

1) Keep Posting Useful Topics

2414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Medalist Bought Bitcoin on: May 24, 2020, 03:21:38 PM
Advertisement from Binance or not, did the tweet attract some of her fans to BTC or not? It did, and that's what matters.

I took some time and read the comments below the tweet, and it’s mostly about congratulatory messages - Welcome to the team&Welcome aboard - and many of tweets are with hashtag of BA, which convinces me even more that it is a paid advertisement. Out of almost 310k followers, the question is how many of them will see the message at all, and how many of them will understand what it is all about.

The whole thing is actually focused on the US market, maybe Binance wants to take his share of all those huge stimulus checks that Americans are getting these days Smiley

Agree this is a great advertisement of Binance but I don't think it was intentionally maybe it is just a simple tweet from Christie Pearce Rampone updating her followers than he already had the go signal on bitcoin.

Still, great news since she is advertising bitcoin the more investor of bitcoin the higher the market price could pump especially with this tweeter posts. Smiley
2415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to answer when asked "Can I make money mining bitcoin?" on: May 24, 2020, 03:00:38 PM
Simple answer is no. Especiallty after halving. New generations of miners are really pricy and ARP is not so good actually

No question it's a NO, you can't make a profit anymore even with decent hardware it's not worth it to do mining especially on bitcoin, Only big mining companies could actually make a profit in this kind of business.

Still, you could try if you're in a great place like cheap electricity, and cold weather. You could also try mining altcoins like ETH, which could be easier to mine and make a profit.
2416  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Beware of Gcash Scammers on: May 24, 2020, 02:36:54 PM

Kaso pwede nilang gawing business 'yon if ever man na di nila ma-withdraw like loading business kasi hindi need ng verification.

2417  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Small Business that accept bitcoin or cyptocurrency here in PH, worth it ba? on: May 24, 2020, 02:22:06 PM

~

~

Added to the list @Peanutswar @cryptoaddictchie

Worth it nga ba?
Maganda 'lang siguro ito if your business is placed in the heart of a city or in any urban areas wherein marami (sa tingin mo) ang may knowledge at hawak na cryptocurrencies.
Although, it is still good to put up signs and banners just as what OP has shown para at least ma curious mga kapitbahay mo as well as your costumers.
Does it really have to depend on the business location? Sa tingin ko hindi. Importante yung location to determine whether kikita ang business o hindi pero wala naman kinalaman dyan yung mode of payments nila (fiat o bitcoin). Kahit langawin pa yung wallet, hindi naman malulugi ang isang negosyo dahil it doesn't cost anything aside from internet connection to set up an online bitcoin wallet.

2419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am feeling Regret on: May 23, 2020, 03:37:27 PM
Hello,

Guys i have 44 Bitcoins in online wallet blockchain.
am feeling very regret now why i did not cashout funds when it hit to 10k$

now its 8.5k$ , i was expecting it will hit to 13k$ or 15k$ soon and then will cashout..

but now very few hours left for halving, so what do you think? its will again hit the 10k$ or up to 10k$?

my target to make $1M but i`m losing hope as it already very down now to 8.5k$.

sorry for my bad english.

Thanks and happy earning guys Cheesy

Just like what the other is saying here putting your 44 Bitcoin in an online wallet is not a good idea you could experience problem especially when you are going to withdraw or take out your bitcoin.

Assuming you have this amount of bitcoin surely you are a big investment because you have this kind of money you might also want to invest a little in the security of your bitcoin buy a ledger or anything.
2420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If War breaks out between China and the US, can China hack Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2020, 03:20:38 PM
IF war with China should happen this summer with the UNited States,,, could China hack Bitcoin if it had to regardless of cost?

Even if there is no war Bitcoin cannot hack or crack bitcoin, it's already a thing to hack bitcoin, and there are countless offers of money to hack or crack bitcoin but until now no one did even in other altcoins there are also offer to hack it.

Why does the war need to start? in the two countries, we know that no one owns the bitcoin? do the US or China own bitcoin, either way, there are so many theories about this who really own the bitcoin or what country it is. Still, I think bitcoin cannot be hack by anyone I believed this is a piece of advanced technology we might need more years to hack it.
