also, can you buy this thing with bitcoin? no? well...
2403  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io BTCLend LNC. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: September 22, 2015, 04:46:27 AM

Take it from me,  As a former paycoin tard.... Its a fucking scam Let the coin die........................

I had to pretty much humiliate myself publicly to recover the losses I couldn't afford to lose at the time...  WHY IN THE FUCKING WORLD did xpy do 98 BTC vol today on crapsy this late into the exposed scam?  I guess These people are dumber then I was.

As much as Dislike some of the people here...... They were / are right!   When will they wake up?

I remember you were running a Paycoin Ponzi and scammed some paytards. How did you enjoy the free gift by Homero?

2405  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal - TradeFortress; re theymos dox on: September 21, 2015, 08:14:37 PM
He does nothing but create fake accounts
Well this is just going to make him create more accounts, no? If he can't use his TF account he'll spend the time farming others.

While I pretty much disagree with everything tF has done, does and will ever do, in this case I think he's right. He did something to very clearly demonstrate the hiporacy of the statement that "doxes are allowed, even of staff". He didn't intend for it to be harassing, as a troll or for his account to be banned automatically. He proved the point, Theymos is now engaged and aware there is an issue with doxes and is considering solutions.

....Isn't this a win win? Unban him already, or find something more fitting to ban him for Tongue

Well isnt that ironic then? The biggest scammer in bitcointalk with -9999 is never banned, after all his scams, trollings and everything else and when he posts a dox of theymos he gets insta banned, i dont agree with tf in anything but he does have a point, why are admins beyond everyone else, i thought you had freedom in this forum, you can sell accounts without no problem too.

maybe... because... you know. it's theymos' forum and he can enforce rules as he likes? the only free forum would be a decentralized one
2406  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io BTCLend LNC. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: September 21, 2015, 06:04:58 PM
OFF TOPIC: My most sincere apologies for disrupting the beating of this dead horse momentarily.

Any thoughts on the current stink from Genesis Mining? Itīs of course a total non-issue here since people here are so good at spotting scams. I canīt imagine that anybody here would have put any meaningful amounts in there.

But anyway, I wonder if you could spare a few seconds from dealing with that horse. Is it a scam about to go belly up or what. It sure is acting strangely.

care to elaborate? I don't follow their mess, always thought they were somewhat legit. Unlike Zeushash, which is 100% scam

Some morning funnies from Vlad the Asshole

Oh that is simply priceless!

Seems that Vlad gets to hear rumours about an impending Casino deal just as he's trying to shill Bluecoin to Garza and apparently one involving Paycoin today, too. Goodness me, one might think that he's a lying shitbag trying to scam people, but he says that Brock Pierce, Vorhees and Co think he's a stand-up guy, right? Because, you know, Bluecoin. Ixcoin. Or something.

is that some little muggle trying to shill the maestro of scams into other shitcoins? know your place you scum!  Cool
2408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitShares 2.0 on: September 21, 2015, 04:24:06 PM

Prepare your BitShares Wallet for Migration

You have to backup your keys for an easy migration to 2.0. It's a little how to Smiley
2409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitShares PTS - I'd like to see more sharedrops using Protoshares snapshots on: September 21, 2015, 10:29:21 AM

But I have held the BitShares PTS for 10 months, and I have never gotten a single drop of any DAC.  Why doesn't BitShares keep their promises?

You got BTS. More than you're expecting because PTS and AGS got bought out during the merger, iirc. Most of it is still vesting. You also got NOTE and the BTS you got is about to get sharedropped on.

Import your PTS wallet and any wallets you donated to AGS from, the find the console in BTS type start typing 'vested' and pick the last option and add the account you want to claim it to and you can claim some now, and more over time.

Do you know what you're talking about?  I never got any BTS, AGS, or NOTE.

I bought PTS at Poloniex 10 months ago.  Poloniex honors sharedrops, but there has never been another sharedrop.

Besides, I don't have a BitShares wallet to import anything to, because the times I've tried to register a BitShares account, registration wasn't possible.  BTS from Poloniex can't be sent until you register an account, but you can't register an account without sending some BTS.  The only way is with a faucet, but there were no faucets the times I tried.

no problem, https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,14780.0.html

download the client (or webwallet) add a name and instead of your name paste the public key located under the name, to the thread. that way you can receive bitshares and register your name.
2410  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest and simplest way to keep bitcoins? on: September 21, 2015, 10:11:56 AM
Paper wallet is the best. Make sure it is generated using a offline computer. Do not use brainwallets (my personal suggestion).

Back when the 'horse battery staple...' phrase was known, many people are using brainwallets as their main wallets. It is a very good and secure wallet, if you can memorize your phrase and you're sure that the 'randomness' in that wallet cannot be cracked by computers.

easiest way for a secure brainwallet is download electrum and let it create seed words. those are not crackable, at least not for now.

Those are MORE crackable than creating your own. Theirs come from a select database. When you do it yourself, the possibilities are endless.

I disagree. I don't think you know how the words are created. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=153990.msg1632127#msg1632127

much more secure than anything a human can come up with by default
2411  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where to get best bitcoin traffic? on: September 21, 2015, 10:09:44 AM
I use bitmedia.io and a-ads. those are adsense like services.

for some mass traffic I use coinad.com
2412  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io BTCLend LNC. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: September 21, 2015, 09:29:33 AM
Well, I very seriously doubt that you can buy that website for $19,715

Itīs just a nominal value. Whoīs the appraiser anyway?

those website appraisals are bullshit. a domain is worth as much as you can find an offer for it.

I really like cryptocat... it's a great way to communicate privately IMO. I'll join you later Smiley

Like I said, if I'm a liar and a scammer then dump - sell when I say buy and you'll get rich.  Otherwise just shut it.

Ah, yes, the ol' "If you don't believe me then don't buy and, more importantly, STFU because you are ruining my attempt to hype this bag of XPY I'm holding" routine.

Seriously, Vlad, have you read your post history? It doesn't do you any favours. At all.

Maybe back in 2014 you might have made a healthy living doing all this hyping but, come on, put a little more creative effort into it will you? Repeating *exactly* the same method from a few months back is just unimaginative and tedious.

that's why he's on my ignore. Garza should offer classes in scamming /  hyping garbage, most of the wannabes are so bad at hyping it's not even funny.
2416  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: September 21, 2015, 06:37:40 AM
earned some bitcoin today through a HYIP and get paid to service (referrals). kinda nice
mind telling us which hyip?

send me a PM if you're really interested. I don't advertise HYIP's in public. I don't want some newbies to blow their money Smiley
2417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest and simplest way to keep bitcoins? on: September 21, 2015, 05:37:08 AM
Paper or better trezor is the safest.

I prefer electrum though, since it's very secure and relatively easy to use.

also, ninkip2p is great too (mobile app, multi-sig and more)
2418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitShares PTS - I'd like to see more sharedrops using Protoshares snapshots on: September 21, 2015, 05:23:22 AM
runpaint

Exactly what wannaPlayCK said.  Download the latest wallet, 0.93.  It takes time to sync and hits the disk drive hard so be patient.  This is obviously fixed in 2.0.  Register a name if you have not.

Import your PTS wallet.  Hit your account button in the upper right and click advanced > console.

Two commands.

wallet_account_vesting_balances "name" without the " will show  whats vested/vesting
wallet_collect_genesis_balances "name" without the " will collect the vested balance.

and try to keep an eye on  https://bitshares.org/ - https://bitshares.org/blog/ - https://bitsharestalk.org/

you're responsible for following your investment.
2419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BanxShares as good as GAW Paycoin? on: September 21, 2015, 04:58:30 AM
I must admit, the volume and marketcap do not look legit at all. however, once banx operates through BitShares, there won't be any manipulation possible.

They'll still be able to hold the majority of shares in their own wallet, on their own exchange, and continue to say they're selling them off-chain and transferring them internally.

AltcoinHerald had a NXT asset - they paid dividends for a while, then dumped all of their own shares and disappeared with the money.  When a share has value only because of expected future dividends, it becomes completely worthless as soon as the dividends stop.

If BanxShares become available on real exchange markets, and there is a large volume of buy orders - at any price - it will be very easy for Banx to sell their millions of remaining shares for whatever they can get, and then never pay a dividend again.  What do they have to lose?  1 ATM machine and some mining equipment that may not exist?

From the Banx prospectus, Page 1:

"There is no guarantee that dividends will be paid."

http://banxcapital.s3.amazonaws.com/Banx_Capital_Prospectus.pdf

their mining gear is real, but very small. I asked for proof on bitsharestalk and made them post pictures. I doubt they make a lot with it.
