2401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 22, 2020, 02:41:40 PM
If eventually one person sells 13 million bitcoins today he/she would overtake Jeff Bezoz to be the world richest person. That will be very fatal to Bitcoin and the economy. So Bitcoin can't make anyone the richest person but it can definitely make you rich with volatility from the previous price you bought it.
2402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 22, 2020, 01:12:52 PM
This puts the potential trader in a state of dilemma, what might have triggered the suspension? Did you log your account in a new device recently? Did you give someone else your account he/she might have violated some T&C? Did you perform a live chat with the customer care unit? Or they don't have like Binance? Some centralised exchanges had better realised the meaning of "Decentralization" Bitcoin was trying to bring, why locking an account without any reason given? What makes your different from a banking institution? They'll likely unlock it when they get to see reactions on this thread.
2403  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: November 21, 2020, 10:47:19 PM
For COVID-19, every country is facing a very very hard time. The pandemic situation makes us feel the humanities. But some of us still do business in this pandemic situation too. For example, we can take a look at food items. The price of food items getting almost doubled in this pandemic. We have nothing to do because if we want to live we have to eat. For that, we need to buy food items and they are doing business with us.
This is just a simple trade logic, Covid-19 doesn't play a major role here.  However food items sellers increased their goods since the lockdown began. It is as as result of low production to carter for the welfare of a large population.
2404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used instead of paper money on: November 21, 2020, 10:27:43 PM
It reasonable for Bitcoin to be used instead of fiat currency due to Bitcoin potential and the world going digital but the case of national currency been obsolete is the reason the government dont want to support Bitcoin and the Chinese government are the perfect example so I will say it too early to decide what will happen in the future despite the fact that Bitcoin seem to be supported by some banks/institutions.
No matter how obsolete fiat currencies are, Bitcoin can't replace their existence because Bitcoin isn't just a stable currency there are fees attached if you want to make use of Bitcoin for everyday purchase and sells.
2405  Economy / Economics / Re: Is corona virus crisis changing economical equations around the world? on: November 21, 2020, 02:20:33 PM
The only way to secure a stable economy currently with the widespread of Covid-19 is to find a lasting solution to its spread,  lockdown isn't enough though it helped in China, a vaccine to totally eliminate it would be great. Covid-19 affected production and distribution a lot the part of the economy that generates tax through these sectors might have been affected so it is very safe to say it does affect the economy.
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: November 20, 2020, 11:08:15 PM
If you'd take a trip to the dark web you'd find answers to some of your pints there, there are different mediums to which one can pay  for a service you'd want to offer there, Bitcoin isn't excluded from the payments mediums. Like others have rightly said Bitcoin is a currency that can be used by anyone so there is no point to defend whether or not it can be used for money laundering. It definitely can be used, but there are high probability that the parties involved in the  deals can caught by law enforcement agencies due to regulations of centralised exchanges demanding for KYC and other person details of traders and users.

You can evade this by using Bitcoin mixer  and some other private exchanges but you're definitely need a reputable exchange that can offer enough liquidity to trap your coins to white money. I'm not agitating for a crime, it is a systematic way of how beautifully Bitcoin is used in solving pressing issues.

Is this token currently tradable?

No, I checked for it it's not tradeable atm but the project seems really good to me they're bringing innovation in by introducing a new protocol to the internet.
It is trading on Probit. But the distribusion time is very far and unfair.

Hi
Please confirm that the reward listed is weekly?
For example, Senior members will make $30 worth of tokens for signature campaign weekly? Or is it one time reward only?

Hello,
Reward section is updated now. Please check and participate!

Please confirm when is reward going to be paid? What's the need of calling it weekly payments when it isn't happening weekly?

2411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will crypto behave during a Biden presidency? on: November 14, 2020, 06:30:38 PM
What we can do as of this moment is to see for ourselves whether Biden is friendly towards crypto or not within his 4 years term as US president. But I am positive that he will not do some crazy things that are against to crypto currency especially if there is no big reason behind it.

If crypto will not give a threat to US then there is a big chances that crypto in US will remain as it is or it will soar towards a new heights if we will go lucky in getting the support of Biden.
Same way I have been thinking. It doesn't make any sense to just predict what he has for cryptocurrencies when he hasn't  assumed office, make proper appointment of his economic advisers, appointment of ministers. Many people are just being predictive over his leadership with the way his party had ruled previously. Even if he is to follow the the footprint of his political party, he has his own vision, mission and policies to implement. As times goes by we'd be thrilled with how he affects Bitcoin positively or negatively with his economic policies
2412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Free TON - Proof-of-Stake Blockchain Network on: November 14, 2020, 07:42:40 AM
Really? Can I trade via Telegram like this? this is so new.
Are our assets secured when using Telegram's bot to access our account? Is our account documents leaked to the outside or stolen by Telegram company itself?
I am really scared to have to use any online service because it can steal our information at any time. Anyway, I would appreciate it if you let me know about the security level when using Telegram bots to trade.

I don't know about data theft and breaching but I have traded on the bot and the transaction was super fast, secure and transparent. You could do your homework by accessing the bot to know more about its developers to satisfy your curiosity.
2413  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will PayPal be a new crypto-exchange? on: November 13, 2020, 10:59:52 AM
Since PayPal just announced that crypto trading and payment services went live in the US, do you think PayPal may turn into a big competitor to existing cryptoexchages? They can also launch a crypto-currency trading desk as well, why not.
The existing CEX exchanges are not sleeping behind as well. PayPal just exposed Bitcoin to a great number of their users who had previously not heard about Cryptocurrencies. It seems they wouldn't allow users to withdraw Bitcoin to external wallets perhaps they could have developed an idea which can allow that. What are the things this features has that would cease the patronisers of existing CEXs? I don't think that is happening anytime soon.
2414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: November 13, 2020, 05:49:37 AM
i can feel your sentiment here mate because in times like this when the fees are really getting higher as the congestion is in blockchain and the miners are taking advantage of the situation.
I think Fiat will always remain in our living though crypto is surely bring a Big part in future as the transaction will mostly happen online.
and physical payments will be limited and shorten .
Maybe in the next couple of years surely groceries will be paid via online wallet so what is the need of fiat that day.
Not sentiments but logic and simple intuitive understanding of economic values and norms. There has not been rules set aside buy entrepreneurs, wholesalers, retailers and agreed by consumers on how many Bitcoin is to be charged for an item so, the whole imagination doesn't have a definite direction to ascertain it's reality.

Let's say  a bottle of milk in Nigeria is ₦326.43 that's approximately $0.86 what is its Bitcoin value? 0.000067 Satoshi. What doest it cost to send the Bitcoin to the retailer? $3-10 worth of Bitcoin depending on the priority used by the sender/consumer. It further cost the buyer extra $ that should have been avoided using fiat currencies. So in this aspect if cryptocurrencies are to be used in replacement of fiat for everyday transactions they should be cryptocurrencies that have little or no transaction fees.
2415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: November 13, 2020, 05:32:37 AM
Patience
Experience
Persistence

Once you discipline yourself to a certain level where other people's opinions like FOMO don't affect your emotions you're heading to be a great trader. Leverage on your mistakes and let them be your experience. Oftentimes people just want to trade and make profits whereas business is not always for the profit. You have to lose some to gain some.
2416  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: November 12, 2020, 05:36:12 PM
I also share the same opinion with you.  By criminals, use of Fiat is seen as safer than using crypto.  Let's let them stay like this.  If the use of crypto is more common in the criminal industry, it means huge international pressures for us.  Let's continue to use cryptocurrency as an investment tool.
There are scams happening in the Crypto sector as well, there is no industry directly related to finance that's scam free  the whole picture  to try and tame here is trying to liaise with centralised exchanges to bring the culprits to book. Criminals would prefer fiat to cryptocurrencies because they wouldn't be safe transacting a large sum of coins that has traces and all eyes would be on them.
2417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: November 12, 2020, 11:34:37 AM
This can only be achievable in imaginary state, Bitcoin transaction fee is higher than a bottle of milk in my country, how would every goods be measured with respect to Bitcoin when the price isn't stable? What of its deflectionary altitude? In as much as fiat have a lot of flaws they are needed, Bitcoin can't really replace their true purposes. It would be hard to even evaluate and tag prices of goods simultaneously because of different goods have different qualities and their prices vary from locality to locality and location to location.
2418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be hitting to $35000 soon - Buy it today!! on: November 12, 2020, 05:55:31 AM
Soon is an uncertain variable why not give a damn realistic representation of your soon? Any time can be soon, tomorrow, next week', next year and even hundreds of years. What does the buyer stand to gain when the soon doesn't arrive? While everyone does business for gain either within the shortest period of time or long time. We all know someday Bitcoin might get to the highest price nobody had ever expected it but this your hypothesis lacks every bit of facts to research on it.
2419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protesters in Nigeria used Bitcoin as alternative of banks as CBN blocked accts. on: November 11, 2020, 08:21:07 AM
It is high time to enter the era of digital currency (the era is at its initial stage in the countries of the African continent), which is difficult to manage and which is more effective in combating lawlessness, violence and police brutality.
A lot of Africans are into digital currencies Nigerians especially that can be gotten from daily volume on Binance, with this data you can evaluate how coefficient it is with the Nigerian populace. N.B they are not limited to trading on Binance alone.
