I think people outside from the DRK threads are severly underestimating the effect of the growing amount of MN operators. More and More DRK are leaving the market via the MN and those that setup their MN are prepared to HODL. I mean, just try and buy 1000 drk right now in less than a few days without trying to attack the asks, it's fucking difficult, bids don't get fed (and that's just for 1 mn, imagine setting up more than 1).
I do agree, less and less people dump their coins, there are more and more investors who setup their MNs and accumulate their earnings to setup more MNs. The idea of Evan and his excelent beautiful mind was to make the demand higher than supply of the coins available what causes the stable uptrend and MNs growing % is only like a dot over the letter "i". Hello dear guys, I am trying to set up a masternode but I keep getting this message when I send masternode start password
you must set masternode=1 in the configuration
however I double checked the darkcoin.conf being .conf and not .conf.txt.
Any hint?
You need masternode=1 in the darkcoin.conf file on local... Oblox, can you look over my guide to see if everything is OK on my end, and this is just user error? I will change any errors you find. I know tens of people have used it so far without issue, but I would like to double check. Please post your answer in the thread. Cheers, Tao |

i like the idea of a coinmerge, solves one of the biggest problems .. trying to increase the development team
which just isnt easy with every development team tied to its own coin. The benefits from such strategic alliance
would be immense.
Which is all fine and dandy if it happened without printing new DRK. If it came from the existing DRK supply so be it, but not changing the supply. It's a horrible idea. I agree that it's a horrible idea regardless where the DRK comes from. If you're against it, that reaffirms my position of being all for it.... |

We're currently in talks with the ShadowCash developers to join the teams together and become the second largest team in crypto. As the twitter states , it's not about their technology, we already have a working anonymity implementation. It's about the team itself, their programmers and designers are top-notch and we could go far together. This should greatly benefit both teams. It's hard to survive in crypto and there's a great cleanup that's happening right now. Darkcoin will survive and through a merger they'll come out ahead too. This was posted as there are a lot of new Masternode owners who may not know how to check their nodes status. As such, it would be better to just issue a blanket statement. It doesn't hurt to do it, I did it to my 5 nodes and they're humming along nicely! This will fix the network faster, as all potential bad nodes will be fixed sooner. |

You may have had this problem. My masternode stopped at block 163512 around 10 mins after enforcement. If you have the same problem just stop your VPS and restart it. Then go to putty and do ./darkcoind ./darkcoind getinfo look for latest block with http://explorer.darkcoin.fr/chain/Darkcoin?count=20 Edit: tao, are you able to edit your masternode guide? Say's ./darkcoind masternode list / grep YOUR IP Should be ./darkcoind masternode list | grep YOUR IP Will do! Thanks for pointing that out! EDIT: Done! |
