2401  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 27, 2022, 02:53:20 PM
But at the same time in the current macro environment I could see us springing up from 25k pretty handily.

I think we’ll see $25,000 too, it might not be until early 2023 though. We’ll bottom above $20,000 & then we’ll start the low climb up as we get close to the halving in 2024 & then transition into the next bull run. We’ll hit over $150,000 in 2025.

I could be totally wrong & we moon sooner which would be great. I think we’re in a bear market now though & we’ll have to wait through a crypto winter before we all get girlfriends in 2025.
2402  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC delays decision on ETF again, Vaneck, SolidX withdraw proposal on: January 27, 2022, 02:13:49 PM
It seems to me like the SEC is doing their best to try and smooth out the peaks and valleys of the Bitcoin market.  The move to introduce futures before a spot ETF appeared to me to be a move to try and put a cap on the 4-year bubble cycle.  Now they appear to be trying to line up the spot ETF approvals with the mtgox funds hitting the market.  I think they're trying to get that 200,000 BTC that will hit the market absorbed by ETF investors.  While I'd always prefer a free market without manipulation, I can understand why those in control want to minimize any damage caused by potential volatility.  I just hope the ETF hits first so we get a little bubble to play in.  Smiley

Possibly, good hypothesis. I’m not sure if it’s just Gensler having his strings pulled by his masters. Big banks & corps are afraid of bitcoin, they don’t want their playground being altered by the new kids on the block. It really is ridiculous that we still don’t have a spot ETF. If America keep dragging their feet then people will just buy somewhere else. When bitcoin becomes more mainstream then the US either adapts or dies. Honeybadger will wait for no-one.

Elliot Wave Theory on BTC at Weekly Time Frame

Dude there’s more chance of me bedding Margot Robbie than bitcoin going anywhere near below $10,000 in our lifetime.

Sub $1,000?
You must be high on crack.

Oh I also did not know about notblox prediction contests, ping ping ping Smiley I am first one there!

Teams do not need to become champions to really celebrate a season. If you played well enough, as well as expected, and did not disappointed, then another team could just be even better and be champions and that's fine. Like if Arsenal finishes in top 4, that would be great right? We all know that would be great, but at the end of the day we are talking about not becoming champions there, which is a proof that you do not need to be champions to be happy with your result.

Liverpool is a great team and they do want to be champions which is understandable but finishing second with not too much points behind City would still be a cause to celebrate if you ask me. Although I am not a big fan of LFC, in fact not a fan of any team, so maybe I am just wrong, LFC could answer that better, all I am doing here is just guessing what people are thinking or would think.

Oh I'm sure Arsenal would celebrate any way they could get into Europe's premier league competition, but I would definitely say Barca would be disappointed even finishing 2nd, despite knowing we could even not finish in the top 4.

Same as Liverpool, I know they're a great team and they know it too, so they will 100% be disappointed with second place, just as they were last season. The only way they would feel they progressed is winning a big trophy like FA Cup or UCL. You guys still see FA Cup as prestigious right?

Finishing 2nd would be disappointing but there’s not much we can do about Pep’s ridiculous spending. Klopp is a better manager, no way Pep would win the title & CL with Liverpool as we barely spend anything. Pep hasn’t won the CL without Messi lol.

The big target for Arsenal is top 4, if they can somehow squeeze into CL qualification spots it will set them up nicely. More money which leads to better chances of winning trophies because better players want to join them. I will be rooting for Arsenal to get top 4.

Thanks for the update Karl, that’s so cool what they’re doing. Also it’s another 1BTC off the available supply which is obviously good for us HODLERS (assuming they don’t keep the private key & ever sell it).

To the moon….literally Wink
2407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔺let's admit it, Bitcoin time is over, now DEFI Time 🔺 on: January 25, 2022, 10:22:15 PM
Defi, a bit like NFT’s, a bit like ICO’s in 2017 bull cycle. Basically a desperate hope for people who missed bitcoin early to make money. Sadly most of these attempts end up futile and people end up broke. Bitcoin is the King, whilst a small position in some alts is OK, I wouldn’t advise too much.

Well done Southampton. Great, battling, courageous performance against Man City to get a really credible 1-1 draw. It happens to help Liverpool in our very faint hopes to win the title. Win our 2 games in hand & the lead will only be 6 points. So well done Saints!

This was my second favorite result of yesterday, of course seeing Barca getting a 1-0 win in the last minutes was the highlight moment, but seeing any rich club drop points, and a partner of Sportsbet even, that is a bigger bonus.

Do you still have a game against City? If so then you can easily make that 3 points Wink Ask Rangnick to do a favor for you guys to beat City lol and that won't upset anyone here as Sportsbet already paid out City bets right?

We do, it’s at the Etihad in April. If we can get to within 6 points of Man City before that game & somehow win then it’s on. Long way to go until then though of course.

We have the first two games in the round of 16 @ AFCON today. This is where the competition starts to take shape.

Guinea vs Gambia
Cameroon vs Comoros

I’m thinking Guinea & Cameroon will advance to the 1/4 finals but should be two good games & a good opportujity to make some bets.

BTC traders need to be correct 501 out of 1,000 times.

#HODLers only have to be right once.

Not looking good boys but it is what it is. This is frustrating but it’s only delaying the inevitable. We are going to $150,000+ but I thought it’d be this year. Maybe we are entering a multi year bear market, maybe we’re not. I’m sorted either way now after selling 25% between $53,800 & $65,000. Would be lovely if we rocket to $150,000+ but try to make it work for you whichever way we go. If we go to around $27,000 then buy with both hands.

We are going to $150,000+ by the end of 2025 at the latest.

We are going to $400,000+ this decade.

If you read the comments on the tweet it seems that this is a trick or a joke.

He is meeting with Bukele but Turkey won’t be adopting bitcoin as legal tender any time soon.
