The attack Green did is unacceptable, the fact that we are still talking about how it should have stayed within the team is showing that NBA is still not finding the right mental health situation. Now you are expecting Jordan Poole to figure out a way to accept Green as who he is, sure Green will "apologize" if he is asked, if I know him, he won't be even doing that unless he got some stern warning and a punishment that is more severe than what he would normally get, and then he would do so but Poole would know he doesn't mean it. While I'm not a massive fan of Jones as a person, at least what we've seen, and heard of him ever since he kind of unofficially retired. He is one of the best mixed martial artists to have graced the UFC. I don't think anyone likes Jon Jones as a person, even himself and his family, but he was a fantastic mma fighter. I am saying he was because we didn't see him doing any real fighting in more than two years, not counting beating up his wife. Currently, Kai Sotto's skills aren't enough to take him to the NBA and that may be the reason why he haven't got drafted recently. Leicester city have their first win this season after a long run up in the premier league. Beating Nottingham Forest was an easy task for the Foxes as they thrashed them woefully. No disrespect but to get to the NBA from other countries, you should be insanely strong and have some unique styles of playing, and more importantly, you can easily score 20+ points per game like this guy here. I respect the opinion, but I'm also not a massive fan of Gane. I thought Tuivasa highlighted quite a bit that was wrong with his style, and Ngannou obviously almost made it comical to go, and wrestle him on some pretty beat up knees, and get the win.
Gane has movement, but I don't think he has too much else. His kicks were obviously the defining thing in that fight against Tai, although I think if Tai could've defended them better, he would've eventually put Gane on his back.
Jones despite his critics, has some of the most creative moves I've ever seen, without looking awkward. Plus, his wrestling can't be underestimated. He's wrestled with the best, and beat them at their own game. Obviously, he's a little older now, and will definitely have some cage rust, but I think he threatens anyone in the top 5.

UFC 280 is a great event. The emir must've paid a lot to make this kind of event. It's too stacked and there are too many great match-ups that are nearly 50/50. I'm not missing this event. I'll be cheering for Oliveira, T.J., Yan, and Beneil.

This match looks one-sided as Chelsea's performance in the last match was excellent. They had a great win against Milan in the Champions League. Yup! it is a very one-sided game for sure and Chelsea's probability of winning is 70% right now Chelsea has 4 wins 1 draw and 2 losses, while Wolves has 1 win 3 draws, and 4 losses, it seems that Chelsea will take another win here, and it will be an easy win for them, Liverpool are currently still in a not so good condition although in the last few matches they actually made some progress but the performance is still the same and their problems in defense have not been resolved properly.

Playing like KD will be too much of an ask for the young guy. First, they play a totally different position. Second, you need to have extreme handling skills to be able to reach KD's level. They may be near in height, but KD is a totally different beast. He already improved a lot based on his recent games. He is not sluggish anymore and has better positioning under the ring. Another year of experience and we may see an NBA level of skills on Kai if he does not stop training and improving his game. The body that he needs will naturally follow if he continues to improve and mature.
It was just wishful thinking on what may happen to Kai Sotto when he can play for the NBA, but as you have said I can not surely compare him with anyone in the NBA he could surely play decent or he could surely play beyond that player it is his own playing style that he is making here and it is surely a great thing for young generations to even combine the playing style of different players on the NBA, and also I can not expect more on him and now that he is still not starting on the NBA,

While I'm not a massive fan of Jones as a person, at least what we've seen, and heard of him ever since he kind of unofficially retired. He is one of the best mixed martial artists to have graced the UFC. I wouldn't be too sure he would struggle against the top fighters, and he would likely give a lot of them a run for their money. Even the Ngannou fight, I'd be interested as their styles are a little different. Jon Jones is also more versatile than pretty much every fighter at the top. Gane has proved he was one dimensional in terms of just movement, and no ground game, and that was particularly highlighted in the Ngannou fight.
I think Jones beats Gane, quite convincingly. Whereas the rest of the guys I don't actually know.
I have watched the recent highlights and some of the fights of Jon Jones and it was really impressive, I don't really see any good leads that his style was changed for the new fighters that await him, and for me, Cyril Gane is undoubtedly upper than him, in terms of technique and skills, for me Jon Jones is like Conor McGregor during his hype, there will be eventually fighters that will be ready for him training himself to be prepared for the Heavyweight is a good thing he did, but do I think he is really in a higher Division just because of his body change? Boxing before was fight to the death or shall we say the last man standing. You quit or you die. During the era of Duran, Leonard and Hearns they fought for 15 rounds. Today, it is only 12 rounds. Before, the referees count up to 10, but today, counting ends at 8. There were improvements in boxing to protect their health and lives.
Anyhow, I do not agree reducing the 12 rounds. Non-title boxing matches can be less than 12 rounds, they are not forced. How about replacing boxing gloves? I like lighter gloves and UFC gloves. But boxing is dependent on fists. Extra light and UFC gloves can hurt boxers fists specially when they are in a 36 minute match-ups.
As I have said there are more deaths in boxing than in MMA, and I am suggesting ways to reduce those deaths by reducing those rounds but surely there will be people that would not allow it, and that is why boxing is remade into non-lethal sports, in the old days they are not using gloves at all and like you have said the fight to the death, that is why it reduced to a number of rounds because of some heavy concussion to the head of the fighter that would likely trauma anyone's brain, but apparently we are just suggesting here prevention and how to lessen deaths in the sport of boxing, |
