"We" are all shaking in our boots.

Better reduce our weekly DCA into BTC down from $100 to perhaps $50 and use the "saved" $50 per week to buy Ibonds, right?   or maybe doggie or lite coins?.. .. ouch!!!!

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Ahhhh

Wasn't expecting this from you. Reducing your DCA for Bitcoin to invest in Ibonds or Doggie is something not easy to comprehend. Invest as much as you can easily in Bitcoin but don't go for other options they are all useless.

Nope, they aren't useless my friend, if Bitcoin grows then they will follow its footsteps. I'm more than sure that Bitcoin will take the whole crypto-currency market to another levels during this bull run. We will remember the current days by saying that there was a time when price of Lite coin was around $93 per coin.

The whole market is dependent on Bitcoin and if it grows then others will also follow it, but only the good ones because their are many projects which are intentionally created to grab money out of our pockets, and those projects will fail in long term. I'm quite sure that in next bull run some other coins will also gain value like Ethereum, Lite coin, BNB, and maybe Dogecoin, but they will only grow because of Bitcoin not because of their own features.

I'm not really positive about those Ibonds because they may or may not be a good choice for investing, but I'm more than sure that Bitcoin will move up, and it will take other crypto-currencies with itself in the upward direction. Note my words, that when Bitcoin moves other crypto-currencies will follow it as it's followers. The King Bitcoin is the real market maker, it's so generous with others in the market that it takes them with itself.
2402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 22, 2023, 02:00:04 AM
Never take it as income at anytime. If you are still gambling, you should quit now. If you cannot quit by yourself, there are so many channels to help you. Even you can talk to me. I will do my best to help you.
Quit gambling now!

If you decide to quit gamble or take gamble as entertainment only, welcome to join me.

I hate gamble!

https://kick.com/fuckdice

Weakling like you should stop gambling but for us who are responsible gambler and do not take it as a  source of income will go on, if gambling break your heart and your pocket then you have reasons to stop but don't hate gambling because for many people its a source of entertainment and job.
Just go on with your life and we will go on with our lives each one for himself when it comes to something that will make them happy.

I agree with you, for us gambling is a type of entertainment and we don't just gamble to get money from our gambling activities. If someone who is into gambling just for the sake of entertainment then that person never stops gambling because he/she isn't an addict but a lover of gambling. However, the ones who are into gambling only to earn money will often get addicted due to their own greed, and fortunately we are not among those people.

I must say that OP if you have given up on something that doesn't means that others would also follow your steps blindly. We all have our own reason and conditions to gamble and no one would give up on a thing they enjoy by just reading a user's thread. If you were able to give up on it then that's good for you, but I don't think that others are interested to give up on it because they enjoy it as a fun activity and they don't do it to earn money from it.
2403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 22, 2023, 01:52:15 AM

anyone deposited very less amount and luckily won a big jackpot like a 100x or 500x or 1000x of base bet and withdrawn without kyc or without facing any problem from the platform?

if yes, how much was that amount? and what was the exchange?

i seen many people complaining about they don't give big wins easily or just don't give by making unanswerable queries like very hard KYC, freezing accounts, etc. this problem is very common with trusted casino's also/

do anyone withdrawn successfully the winning amount and if yes what was the process, it was seamless or you need to pass a hard kyc?

Well, I have won many times 100x to 200x in crash, but the value was pretty low because I used to wage only $0.01 and that's why 200x would make me just $2, and I don't think that any casino would ask for KYC to withdraw that little amount of money. I have done withdrawal to test the platform and there wasn't any issue at all.

The withdrawal in my case doesn't required any kind of KYC, however if the wage amount would be $10 or more than the casino would probably require some kind of KYC to allow withdrawals. The KYC is a necessary step to confirm the genuinity of a user and that's why each casino needs it to confirm that the user is a real user and is not operated by someone without citizenship of a country.

2404  Other / Meta / Re: Another birthday - how about an octogenarian club here? on: July 21, 2023, 04:52:23 PM
Once again for all the helpful advice and encouragement.

I think this thread has morphed away from one suitable for the meta board, so I'll stop posting discussions about the videos in here. I'll start to optimise some short Bitcoin videos, and open a thread on the Bitcoin discussion board. Hopefully thiose will help others to start channels on Youtube, and this will popularise Bitcoin. I think we need to do more to bring Bitcoin to the people with unusual banking requirement ( Nigel farage perhaps ? ). This will probably mean using lightnong, and I haven't used that, so please join me on my journey onto the lightning network.

Man, first of all I must say that your videos are amazing and you look really great in those videos. I must say that you look quite good with beard and there is no need to shave it as you have mentioned in one of your posts. Other than that I think you are a inspirational figure for all those people who are into the world of Bitcoin because if someone at this age can contribute to Bitcoin then why not the young ones?

I truly appreciate your efforts and I must say that best of luck with your YouTube channel, and I'm quite sure that I will be among the first subscribers of your channels because I'm truly interested to watch your videos and learn from those videos. It would be a pleasure for me to learn from someone like you JetCash!

icopress is really a good member of the community and I would love to see him as a merit source because the guy can help the community a lot by sending merits to the posts that deserve those merits. I'm quite sure that anyone would love to have a member like @icopress as a merit source because we all know that the user has been doing great on the forum, and could be a very valuable asset for the current merits sources as well as the other members of the forum who give their best to create informative and useful posts.
2406  Economy / Gambling / Re: l0tt0.com on: July 21, 2023, 04:40:36 PM
However, I don't think that it's necessary because the system is already a very secure one and those users will understand the importance of password-less login system very soon.

The problem with using E-mail solely without (optional) 2FA is that E-mail is not really a secure means of communication. To those users who want as much security as possible, 2FA is necessary.

I agree with you, and yeah 2FA is more secure than E-mail only, and that's why I also believe that the 2FA should be implemented into L0tt0 system so that the users will have higher security than E-mail only. All of the top level casinos have implemented the 2FA in their systems and that's why I think it would be a great optional feature on L0tt0.com as well.
2407  Economy / Gambling / Re: l0tt0.com on: July 21, 2023, 03:58:58 PM
you would really prefer username/password login? I just hate that system. the current system is so elegant. I was thinking of emailing a code- which you type it, to help with people on different devices.

The question is, will you implement a system based on your preferences or based on player's preferences? As we all know the username with password system is the most used one in most all casinos which means most players are familiar with this system already. Having different account system is unique but I think you should also add the most used system too.

it's not about my preference. it's not secure. fact.. with cracking power nowadays- ANY leaked password is a death sentence. I can promise you that 75% of people use one form of a password, or god forbid the same. yes, i would salt and hash them... but this is a system we need to get away from, actually run from.

i just figured that with 2f being so wide spread- people have access to their email on the reg, people with crypto should be used to it. the device thing, i totally get- which is why i'm adding a code email where you can type it in.

but username and passwords? shit guys. i thought we were better than that. i'm the one who will have to deal with hacked accounts and jacked btc.
but i mean...... if that's really what people want... maybe i can come up with something.

I agree. There's a reason Microsoft and others are pushing passwordless login everywhere. People re-use passwords and store them insecurely. Atleast by using E-mail you only have that one account to secure.

However, I would personally add an option for 2FA on top of the login. It can be an optional feature but should exist nonetheless.

That's very true the password-less login is a quite successful method these days and all of the major sites should implement such type of mechanisms to make users safe from database hacks. I have seen that many users tend to use same usernames and passwords on multiple sites and if any of those sites gets hacked and the database gets leaked then all those users will suffer.

The e-mail address is quite a secure way to receive passwords because everyone uses his/her e-mail address during account registration, and they always have access to that e-mail address because they know that the e-mail address is really worthy because all of the accounts on other sites are created using that e-mail address.

The implementation of 2FA should be a really nice step as that's also known for its security. I also think that 2FA should be an optional feature for those users who think that receiving passwords on e-mail isn't safe. However, I don't think that it's necessary because the system is already a very secure one and those users will understand the importance of password-less login system very soon.
2408  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: July 21, 2023, 03:44:44 PM
Hi, i would like to know if there is any android application for casino sites, sports bets where you can bet with crypto thanks

Almost all of the online casinos that accepts bets in crypto are having their own android application, and I think you should have searched about that before asking such a naive question. These days the smartphone users are on rise and every casino know that fact, and that's why they try their best to target those users who use smartphones.

Every successful casino is offering their Android as well as IOS based application to attract all those users, but I must make you sure that those applications aren't available on Google Play Store or IOS App store because those stores won't allow gambling applications, and for that reason the casinos offer direct downloads of those applications from their sites. I must also say that the Android versions are more easily available than IOS one due to Apple's strict policy.
2409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching Bitcoin is not do or die on: July 21, 2023, 03:35:32 PM
Spreading bitcoin awareness or teaching people about bitcoin is the best way for rapid adoption of bitcoin. Some forum members try to force their kids, friends and relative to learn bitcoin which shouldn't be so. Learning of bitcoin should be based on interest and not by force. If you try to teach someone about bitcoin and that person is not showing any interest, it is better that you forget about it,and try to talk to someone else who will be interested on it. Remember, no matter the effort that you put in,to teach someone who is skeptical to accept new ideas or that person feels that he is a professor or knows more than you in other aspect of life,or if he is even richer than you, will end up being a wasted effort. This can discourage you to stop spreading bitcoin awareness, due to the negative responds that you will get from them.

Another reason why you don't have to force people into learning bitcoin or investing in bitcoin is that,if you force them, it will look as if bitcoin is a scam because, you are over doing it and they will be reluctant. Lastly, if you want to teach or introduce bitcoin to someone, make sure that you tell him more of the risky side and don't just tell him about the benefits,so that it will be the person choice to invest in bitcoin or not. If you only tell the person about the positive side and the person gets excited and believes that bitcoin has  little or no risk,or the person thinks that bitcoin is a get rich project from your explanations. If the person invests and the market moves downward or in opposite direction away from the investor mindset,he will the discourage and might call you a scammer because you failed to explain the risks of bitcoin investment to him. One should also take note that bitcoin is a very risky investment and needs proper knowledge and understanding for a newbie to believe in it.

It is how we explain bitcoin to people that will make them decided whether to invest or not. I think that the best way one can convince someone on investing in bitcoin is when you live by example,i.e when you have invested into bitcoin and you also have what to show for it. Some newbies don't have any bitcoin investment but they are teaching people about investing into bitcoin, how will they be able to convince the person that they are talking to.

Remember that knowing the theory and carrying out the practical will help you to have a proper knowledge on how to spread bitcoin awareness the right way,i.e you have the knowledge that it is long term investment that is more profitable and you have your bitcoin investment which you are holding for long,so that you can bring in more people into the bitcoin community.

Let's discuss

You are absolutely right, it's really unnecessary to force others to adopt Bitcoin because they will not accept it until they are interested in it. Many people who have no knowledge about finance or about investing would rather avoid things like Bitcoin because those people are known to save the fiat in their strongboxes because their mind is made in that way and they won't accept any change at any cost.

When you want to produce awareness regrading Bitcoin then you must have to be honest because if you are trying to promote Bitcoin to people who are close to you then you should definitely explain in details about the Bitcoin's market and the price levels it has gone trough. If you only show the positive picture of Bitcoin's price and try to hide the downward moments of the market then you are doing even worse. Those people if lose half of their capital during a bull market would never trust Bitcoin investments again.

That's why one should explain both the good part and the bad part of the market because the investors are only interested into those assets with which they can gain money rather than losing it. The people will choose Bitcoin if they understand the true potential of this amazing currency.
2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 21, 2023, 03:20:33 PM
HYIP and PONZI schemes are things that make someone interested in seeing the benefits offered by the platform, and that for some people who are easily attracted by big profits, of course it is a mere deception and trap that makes them lose.

We must think rationally in this regard, and question again whether it is possible to return money in such a way with a very attractive amount, those who see and without thinking, will probably think that by gambling we will get extraordinary profits and can be successful with an instant way through gambling, unfortunately people who have given up on gambling and have their addiction look for opportunities on real platforms that will deceive them and make them experience even more severe failures.
Many have been scammed by those HYIP and PONZI schemes and lost a lot of money because they were tempted to earn quickly. But if they read the reviews of many sites, most of those sites will only run away after the members' money has accumulated a lot and the members can't get any benefits.

And that also happens to those who decide to gamble. They imagine that they can get big wins in a short time, but what happens is that many people lose their money at the gambling table without being able to recover their losses. They really have to learn that gambling is not a place to make money and they are better off looking for money elsewhere.

Those HYIP and Ponzi schemes were truly the worse part of many of those investors who wanted to earn quick money without even knowing the risks related to those schemes. Those Ponzi schemes were running very successfully for a long time and people thought that they will be earning a lot of money be investing in those schemes, however in the end all of them lost their money.

Gambling is not like those Ponzi schemes because in it some people who have luck and follow a great strategy can earn some money rather than losing everything. However, I must say that people tend to lose a lot of money in gambling because they think that they can get rich quick by doing gambling for longer periods. Such users win few of the bets, but after a reverse of luck those users tend to lose everything they have won so far. That's why in gambling a user should have patience and at the same time control over his/her greed.
2411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I save my brother by investing in btc now? on: July 21, 2023, 03:06:57 PM
sorry,I come from China,The following is translated by machine ,My brother has leukemia. I have already owed  30,000 US dollars. But my brother still hasn't improved. I finally got the bone marrow last week. The doctor said it would cost about 75,000 US dollars. My total assets are about 3,000 US dollars now. If I want to treat my brother. Is it too late to buy btc now?thank you

I'm sorry for your brother, and I wish that his health gets better very soon, but I should say that you won't be able to turn $3000 dollars into $75k dollars by investing in Bitcoin. I won't say that you're late in buying Bitcoin because its price can go very high in future, but for treatment of your brother's health the Bitcoin won't be helpful at all.

I recommend you to find an alternative way to treat your brother either by getting donations from online sites where generous people try to donate part of their wealth to support the needy ones or you can sell out your properties if you have any to get some money to support your brother in his condition.

I think that in many countries government allows to pay back the medical expenses of the ones who have any position in that government, and if your brother is in government or you have made any health insurance then you can get some of the money that spent during the treatment of your brother.
2412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My personal savings now I will invest in Bitcoin on: July 21, 2023, 09:33:44 AM
I have been thinking about trading in Bitcoin for quite some time now. I have been involved with Bitcoin for a long time but am still thinking about investing here. I used to run DPS in bank for 30 dollars per month for 5 years, this DPS will complete 5 years this month. I'll get roughly $1800, I don't think it's much of a savings to keep that money in the bank. Bangladesh is suffering from severe dollar crisis due to which many banks are likely to go bankrupt. The names of those banks have not yet been published by any mass media. Because of the economic condition of Bangladesh, I want to invest my money in Bitcoin. I still don't understand if my decision is right, please let me know your opinion

Your decision to invest in Bitcoin in right because in current times of inflation the only savior is Bitcoin and the ones who invest in it could get better returns in 2024-2025 from that investment. I recommend you to invest in Bitcoin at $29k to $30k range because I believe that Bitcoin will go higher in price after some days and that's why it's better to invest in it at those ranges.

If your intention is more about trading rather than investing then I recommend you to learn about trading and the crypto market first, and when you have learnt a lot about the market then you should start Bitcoin trading. I also recommend you to choose a better and trusted platform for trading because most of the platforms aren't trust worthy and that's why a top platform would be a better choice for anyone.

I recommend you to avoid depositing your money into any of those banks at all because if the economic condition of your country isn't well then the banks will also suffer from those circumstances. I think these kind of situations make us closer towards Bitcoin because the traditions fiat based currencies of many countries are getting highly affected by inflation. The Bitcoin was created to be independent from those banks and it works on its own and that's why it is a cure for inflation.
2413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Bitcoin Wallets ? on: July 21, 2023, 08:58:40 AM
Good evening,
Which hot wallets are top in your opinion?

I would go with Electrum because I have found it as the best wallet to store your Bitcoin. If your main intention to hold your Bitcoin for a longer period then I would recommend you to make your Electrum wallet as a cold wallet instead of a hot wallet. I must tell you that hot wallets aren't safe for huge amount of money, and for that purpose a cold wallet is highly preferred option.

If you still want to store your coins in a hot wallet then go for Electrum as that one is the securest and highly trusted wallet for Bitcoin. The Electrum is open-source and that's why the chance for having a vulnerability is quite low with this wallet. If you want to go with a closed source wallet then the best options are either MetaMask wallet or Trust wallet as both of them are known for their wide acceptability.

2415  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: July 20, 2023, 02:28:00 PM

I walked through the topic and see that you found three AI users, but none of their detected posts was deleted. It's strange. Are you sure you not only placed your findings here, but reported these posts to moderators as well? Making a review in this topic doesn't substitute a report, it just explains why a report has been sent.

I think I missed the reporting part. Thanks for your kind response, I have reported posts of the all those users. Let's see if their posts get deleted after the confirmation from admins and moderators of the forum. I will surely be careful next time because I really forgot about reporting those posts to moderators. Thanks once again for opening my eyes regarding that thing. I hope that we will try our best to help our admins and moderators to reduce the spam of those AI generated posts.
2416  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: July 20, 2023, 11:55:52 AM
I found another member who has been posting AI content on the forum without even caring that such thing is a spam on the forum.

Username: 2PIC_CT

If I post starts with "I" and contains enough human-written text interspersed with ChatGPT text, it appears the mods won't delete it as spam (unless if the human text is also spam and it would be deleted as such regardless).

I have also noticed that and I think that the text may be written by a human and has been polished with the help of AI tools. If someone tries to fix the grammar issues of a human written text with the help of those AI based software then the detectors will still detect that text as AI generated text and that's why I think moderators allow such posts because they know that thing. I think one should avoid using those AI based software at all cost because those tools can fix the grammar, but they also make your hard-work as a waste of time.
2417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 20, 2023, 11:26:18 AM
Back above $30,000 but still ranging between $29,500 and $31,800. It’s getting a bit boring but we’ll have a significant breakout within the next month or so. My bet would be to the upside.

Nothing else to say really, apart from buy any significant dip.

We’re in the first weeks of a new bull market, nothing exciting until 2024 unfortunately. Time to kick back and enjoy the rest of the summer.

I agree with you more than 100% because I also think that the real change will begin after the last quarter of 2023 and early quarter of 2024 because the new bull market may start during that period. There won't be a lot of changes in market before that and it would be a great thing to see Bitcoin above $34k in the coming days. However, I highly doubt that value because things have been stuck around $30k to $32k for most of the time and it would be hard for Bitcoin to reach or cross $34k if things continue like this.
2418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vanity Bitcoin Address: Pros, Cons #My_take_on_it on: July 20, 2023, 10:31:26 AM
I am interested how accurate such a meter is and why nobody else seems interested in the fact. AI generated responses are the kind of garbage I hate to see on the forum.

I have been following the thread of nutildah, and at that thread he has shown some of those detectors which we users can use to detect AI generated text. The accuracy of those detectors is still not 100% confirmed because they can detect original text that has been grammar fixed with the help of those AI tools, however they are efficient at detecting many texts which can often be confirmed as AI generated texts.

Those tools are getting tough each day and I'm quite sure that the day isn't far when they will detect human generated text as AI generated text, and on that day we will have to find a better solution to detect such texts. However, as of now we can at least trust those detectors even if their accuracy is still unconfirmed.

Although this thread was reported, it was not deleted, and its possibly because the author is using AI to rewrite their own text, or because the text contains genuine information and the moderator didn't see it as "spam".

Sometimes those texts may contain human response, but they have been polished with AI tools to fix grammar errors.  I think the moderators know about this fact and that's why they don't delete all those posts because they have a human touch. However, it's always better to work on our grammar rather than relying on those tools because they can make us suffer in long term.

2419  Other / Meta / Re: [BAN APPEAL] UID: 1047338 / 2221175 on: July 20, 2023, 04:05:28 AM
Does anyone have an idea how long the ban risk due to "ban evasion" can last in a case like this?
I believe it's handled on case by case basis.

Some members get banned, some don't get banned, other's get unbanned, others don't get unbanned even when they appeal and get some support from other members. I mean, lately, it is so hard to know the rule book the mods go by.'

Personally, I think OP has been given a second chance, though he won't be told so directly.

I agree with you because the moderators of our forum do not make any unfair decisions and that's why they have to study each case carefully before coming up with a conclusion. In the case of HedgeFx, I suppose he will get another chance because he's been contributing fairly to the forum for a long time and he hasn't done any activity that could go against the rules of the forum. I know that there's something with ban evasion, but the user has been dealing fairly for a long time and that's why such a user deserves at least a second chance.

I'm waiting for HedgeFX to repay his loan so once again the members can see that how honest he is with the forum and with the ones who trusted him. The lenders have lent him money because they knew that the user is honest and would repay the money including interest on time. I know that this time things might be a little tough for him, but I'm quite sure that he will clear up his image once again. I hope things will be good for him because he hasn't scammed or done anything wrong with anyone on this forum. However, the final decision is still in the hands of the admins and moderators.
2420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't expect everyone to embrace Bitcoin on: July 20, 2023, 01:45:27 AM
The earlier we understand that bitcoin is not for everyone, the better because it saves us the time and energy that we would have used to convince those who are uninterested, to move on to those who are interested and it can also drive adoption faster. I've read some threads here of some people trying to convince their family members on the positives of Bitcoin and get enraged if the said members don't share the same opinion as them but I feel everyone is entitled to his opinion and while some regard Bitcoin with outright disgust like Charlie Munger, there are some who care less of it's existence.

Bitcoiners have the opportunity to stand for something and that's eliminating the need for central authorities such as the government and banks and rather than forcing everyone to confirm to their beliefs, it's better to find an audience worth serving. What's your take, guys?

I agree with you because there are skeptical people who would never accept something like Bitcoin while we can't ignore the fact that there are also people who are very fond of Bitcoin that they can't live without it. Those people who don't want to know about Bitcoin are the ones whom we can called people with ignorance while that ones who accept that Bitcoin is a useful asset and it could help to reduce inflation are the people with the understanding of things.

I also believe that those people who are not interested in Bitcoin should be avoided on matters where we talk about Bitcoin. It's not worthy to convince such people that Bitcoin is the future and it can eradicate poverty because they will never accept our words and that's why it's better to be salient near those people who can't understand your words. We love Bitcoin and that's more than enough for us and if others don't love it then we can't force them to love it.
