2401  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War between US and China on: January 29, 2017, 05:12:53 PM
Trump seems to be the the first US president to go against the one china policy and wants to start a trade war with china.
China already said it will answer accordingly with economical and military means.

In the case china allies with russia - which is highly likely based on geo-strategical positions  - what are the chances that trump will be succesful?

There are stories of china talking indirectly with trump through jack ma who promised to create 1 million jobs in the US in the next coming 4-8 years, but isnt this more or less just a drop of water on a hot stone?
World wars began first as economic wars so it could be possible the economic war escalates to a military conflict, but we need to forget about the possibility of an open conflict since that would mean the destruction of both nations and large parts of the world.
2402  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: January 29, 2017, 05:06:42 PM
In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
Regardless of the challenges about using bitcoin if I had the choice I will choose to receive my payments in bitcoin since it is bound to be a great investment in the next years.

Personally I think those trying to obtain scientific proof of the existence of god are approaching this from the wrong perspective, you believe in god proof or not proof.
2404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $50,000 each by 2020 on: January 10, 2017, 07:16:20 AM
Does anyone feel like it's comming?
Too soon, believe me everyone here wants to see huge prices for bitcoin but I don’t even some of the most enthusiastic users of bitcoin are expecting that price so soon, but it is nice to dream once in a while.
2405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back 2014! on: January 10, 2017, 07:01:25 AM
Here comes the crash Grin. This is the problem with people panic selling. bitcoin price falling down now lol.It was 950$ on btc-e and i refresed the page 5 minutes later and down to 876$. I am a lifetime bitcoin holder and i can take it.I know it will rise again.what do you guys think? i think now price will reach back 600$ in no time. :/
I don’t think the price is going to crash that much because difficult times for the world economies loom ahead and this will only reinforce bitcoin by showing to the world how frail the economic system really is.
2406  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: January 10, 2017, 06:53:14 AM
I don't think there is going to be a WW3 to begin with because the weapons we have right now are simply too powerful, if a faction was losing then there will be nothing stopping them to use weapons of mass destruction in an unrestricted way.
2407  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why isn't public transport free? on: January 10, 2017, 06:45:47 AM
Taxes + tickets + ads revenues... All of this to pay executives and press relation managers high salaries?
If you live in a first world country then you may get some kind of government help to incentive the use of those services but in poorer countries you have to pay full price when you use public transportation.
2408  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: January 10, 2017, 06:38:36 AM
Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?

For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?
I don't intend to make bitcoin to my children, they can get through their own means, for nothing is wrong.
We must save bitcoin for ourselves if our children and grandchildren end up getting a benefit great but we should do it for us and not someone else.
