24001  Economy / Speculation / Re: It took only 11 days to go from 639 to 1148 last time on: November 20, 2016, 06:19:25 PM
Those days of usage and the spreading, popularity and the adoption is very low compared to the present day. Those day the market variation is done by a small group which is not possible now as adoption and acceptance is increased gradually. So such a steep increase like the past can be experienced very rarely.

Also back then, there were only a handful of exchanges (and of them, Mt Gox was rigging the order books). So half-a-dozen users could manipulate the exchange rates by investing a small amount of money. Now we have dozens or even hundreds of crypto-exchanges. It will take much more resources and manpower to manipulate the exchange rates.
24002  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitstamp now $30 behind Chinese exchanger on: November 20, 2016, 06:15:54 PM
Another question how come huobi and okcoin never got hacked like mtgox bitstamp and finex

It will happen in the future expect  bloody waterfallls when it does fake or not its only a matter of time

Most of the hackers are either Chinese or Russian. And that is the reason why Chinese exchanges such as Huobi and Russian exchanges such as BTC-e never gets hacked. They employ these hackers to protect their wallets from robbery.  Grin
24003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: November 20, 2016, 06:00:42 PM
If Bitcoin dies, then I will select some other crypto-currency such as Ethereum or Ripple and move on. I don't have too many Bitcoins in my wallets (right now I have BTC0.012 in my first wallet and BTC0.003 in my second wallet). So I am not going to lose much if Bitcoin becomes worthless.
24004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 20, 2016, 05:57:50 PM
i think bitcoin can't help poor country because in poor country. alot of them have a currency not easy to bitcoin help them

If there is an easy way of exchanging the local currency to bitcoin and vice versa then I think the picture might be different.

There are several issues which prevent such a direct exchange. The high volatility in the exchange rate is one of the main reasons. It takes up to two hours to get 3 confirmations, and the exchange rates can swing wildly during this time period. Another issue is the legality of Bitcoin. It is not yet clear whether Bitcoin should be considered as a currency, or as an investment asset.
24005  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: November 20, 2016, 05:53:08 PM
I voted for "Huge price increase". If Bitcoin exchange rates shoot up to $10,000 per coin or $100,000 per coin, then it will attract a lot of attention. A lot of institutional investors will flock to purchase Bitcoin, and in the end the user-base will also expand.
24006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Bans Its Largest Fiat Currency Notes on: November 20, 2016, 05:50:48 PM
12 days have passed since the demonetization, and still the situation is chaotic. People are still queuing outside the banks and ATMs, and they are running out of cash in a matter of few hours. If the situation doesn't change, then the government may have to face the wrath of the people.
24007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the transaction fee? on: November 20, 2016, 05:46:53 PM
i am thinking what will happen when block halving reward will become negligible may be after 2050 or before that. even now itself miners had quit mining  because profit dropped from 25 to 12.5 then think of 2050's situation.

That is a wrong statement. Before halving the exchange rates were around $230 per coin. So for every block, they were getting the equivalent of $5,750. And now, after the halving they are getting $740 per coin, for a total of $9,250. Actually their profits have increased by around 80%.
24008  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much did you spent in the internet using bitcoin? on: November 20, 2016, 05:39:42 PM
I have never converted any of my coins to fiat currency. But I have used them for other purposes, such as mobile recharges, and to replenish my digital wallets (PayTM and Mobikwik).
24009  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: November 20, 2016, 05:36:37 PM
What I wonder is if her daughter Chelsea be a candidate in the next two decades. It would be very interesting if she would continue the dynasty.

You know the importance of the 2016 POTUS elections? It spelled the end of two powerful American political dynasties - the Clinton family and the Bush family. Even the Democrats have realized that Sanders was a much better choice than Clinton. This is the end for Hillary... her political career is destroyed. And along with that goes any hope for Chelsea in the distant future....
24010  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: November 20, 2016, 05:31:16 PM
Gun control is extremely difficult to implement nowadays, with the rise of the deep web. It is possible to buy extremely sophisticated fully-automatic machine guns from dark markets such as AlphaBay and Agora Marketplace. The government is not capable of stopping this trade.
24011  Other / Politics & Society / Re: British tourist 'gang-raped' in Dubai faces jail for having sex outside marriage on: November 20, 2016, 05:26:09 PM
She was gang raped by British citizens, who casually hopped on a flight back to the UK after finishing their job, so I don't know why you have a picture of a Saudi in the post. Are white supremacists really that dumb? Yes, yes, they are.

Yes. She was raped by British citizens, who used the loophole in the stone-age law to escape punishment. If the British government is so concerned about it, then it should arrest the perpetrators. The rapists are just the symptom. The real disease is the stone age law which encourages rape, and the people who support it (like the guy in the picture).

Yup, you're absolutely right about that. Dubai is, no doubt, primitive and backwards. The British citizens went there because they knew with their privilege they could get away with even rape. I especially agree with you on the point that the British government must arrest the perpetrators and intervene, since everybody involved was British. The guy in the picture is a rape apologist, sure, but otherwise, irrelevant to the story. The average rape apologist can look like anything. I just think he picked a Saudi looking guy because the OP has a history of anti Semitism.

The British laws are not that strong either. Britain has one of the most lax punishments for violent rape in the world. When the British government can't even arrest its own citizens who came back from Syria after fighting with the ISIS, I think that it will be too much to expect from them to arrest these goons.
24012  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TRUMP WINS on: November 20, 2016, 05:21:59 PM
Minorities, gays and liberals have been in charge long enough. Let's see what whitie can do for murrica. LOL

In the past few months, there were a few well-publicized incidents which alienated the heterosexual and conservative whites from the Democratic party. One example is the harsh penalty imposed upon the Portland bakers, who refused to make a lesbian wedding cake. Also, white Christians were alarmed with the last two nominations to the SCOTUS - Sotomayor and Kagan. Both of them are known to be extreme-leftists. In the end, the Christians decided that enough is enough and dumped the Democrats.  Grin
24013  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: November 20, 2016, 05:02:21 PM
Let me put it this way, USA, Russia and Europe(especially, France,Britain and Italy) implemented Terrorism in Muslims' countries and now they cry about it?!!.
How many times did the mentioned countries invaded Muslim lands and killed Muslims over and over till now? What did they expect Muslims to do?(not to defend themselves?!!).

It is not about defending themselves. The Muslim terrorists don't have the capability to target the Russians and the Americans. On the other hand, they are targeting the powerless Yazidis and Assyrians. As far as I know, the Yazidis never invaded Muslim lands and never did any harm to the Muslims.

I hope this image can clarify the smoke.

And one more thing. The image which you had posted is from the Yushu earthquake in Tibet.

You are a shameless liar.
24014  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Save the planet or not on: November 20, 2016, 04:59:25 PM
save the planet is our responsible as we are live in this planet and we don't want to see our home is damage or something bad happen but its really hard if we don't join together to save our planet and its need more people to do this thing, not just individuals but lets we start from ourselves to save our planet then i am sure that other people will do the same like us.

90% of the pollution in the world is being caused by the super-rich, who constitute for just 0.01% of the human population. These people lobby in favor of thermal power-plants and fracking, and in the end earn billions of $$$ every year from these ventures.
24015  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Desperate move: ISIS fighters using 600 suicide bomber dogs against Iraqi forces on: November 20, 2016, 04:55:29 PM
In a more serious note. I really hope some country find and nuke the base of ISIS and kill every one of them. They are a cancer in this world.

Nuking them is not a serious option. First of all, none of the super-powers (and even India and Pakistan) want to use nuclear weapons as a first strike. And also, ISIS is using civilians living in areas controlled by them as human shields. If we bomb the cities under ISIS occupation, then far more civilians than terrorists are going to lose their lives.
24016  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: November 20, 2016, 04:52:11 PM
hell no, eating human could be very disgusting Grin what if the human you hate has a virus such as HIV, AIDS, Etc. much worse if you ate dead human who died of Meningococcemia Grin lol. but we all know that if some people became very starve we will eat whatever on our front of us in order to survive . but I will much prefer to die instead of eating fellow humans . Grin

You will not get HIV from eating a corpse. HIV can survive in a dead body for only around 24 to 36 hours (unless the corpse is refrigerated). Even if the corpse is "fresh", the chances of getting infected with HIV are quite low if the meat is properly cooked.
24017  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: November 19, 2016, 03:52:56 PM
This is ridiculous. Bitcoin was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto as an alternative to banking and fiat currency. And if we start banks for Bitcoins, then the original purpose will be lost. Exchanges are OK, but banks are not so.
24018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: November 19, 2016, 03:49:44 PM
but for the sites, they are legally forced to not allow minors on their site and with bitcoin they can not know if their visitors are legal or not.

This is a poor excuse to force individuals to use plastic money. What if an adult transfers his credit card to a minor, and then the minor use this card to purchase porn subscription? They are trying to force us to use credit cards and giving silly excuses to cover it.
24019  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: November 19, 2016, 03:18:00 PM
And how will we be in their control after they'll legalize Bitcoin and make it an official payment method? The politicians are looking to control as much as they can so they can steal as much as possible from us. Most of our money (and I'd say it's over 75% of it) goes to their pockets, unlike the promises they're making everytime before they're elected. It's all about beautiful words, you know.

Our money is being stolen by the corporations. Politicians are also on their payroll. It is 0.01% of the world population which control these corporations, and the vast majority of the wealth (including that in paper money) is controlled by them.
24020  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 19, 2016, 03:15:29 PM
You are not looking at one major advantage of holding bitcoin rather than fiat/cash. Look at how purchasing power of each fiat have decreased over last few years due to huge inflation. While price of bitcoin and purchasing power of 1 bitcoin have skyrocketed in last few years. So better to store earnings in bitcoin rather than in cash to keep your hard earned money safe from such inflation of your local fiat.

Tell this to someone who had purchased bitcoins at $1,200 per coin in 2013. Bitcoin is highly volatile, and that is the reason why most of the users don't want to store their wealth in coins. I agree with your claim that the purchasing power of BTC has sky rocketed over the past 6-7 months. But what if the purchasing power again crashes in the future?
