Russian investigators on Tuesday were investigating a dance school after a video showing teenage girls in bee costumes performing the sexually explicit "twerking" dance move was viewed millions of times online. http://rt.com/news/249585-twerking-bees-children-russia/As we advance in technology, it seems that the morality and values of people are going down.. It has to happen my dear. Now a days, we live in a society when everyone is judges by it's clothes and money he or she has in his/her pocket. The morality is all time low. There is no fear of the law among the riches. So what else do you expect?

Even if it was Saudi Arabia, the US needs the Saudis more as an ally than an enemy. They will probably wait until nobody speaks about this story so people will forget.
Let's see for how long things will remain like that between the two. Just because KSA and the USA is having the same enemies (Russia, Iran), that doesn't mean that in future things will be warm and cosy. No but USA is really very powerful and it can bow down to any level to achieve its goal. And if they are doing it right now then there might be some hidden interest in that. Let's wait n watch. Time will tell.

No, this isn't true. See the link I posted directly above (or below!) for context. He was a trained law officer assigned to the Violent Crimes Task Force and had specialized training in homicide investigations.[ Sheriff's Office procedures were reviewed last week by the national Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement. The inspection was scheduled before the shooting occurred and was not done in response to it, Glanz said. "They looked at all of our policies and found them to be in order," Glanz said. "And they looked specifically at the reserve program and found it to be in order." So the program he operates under is an accredited law enforcement program. I've never heard of a "reserve deputy program" before, but it seems like part time police officers. Ok, thanks for the info. It isn't as bad as previously thought then (as in, they are seemingly not sending rich guys onto the streets with no training after all). Of course, killing the guy is still bad. Killing anyone is bad. And it would only stop if we can control the Gun Lobby. But it seems to people behind the Gun culture are too strong to do anything against them. Even Obmama failed to do anything against them last year after the Shooting incident in School.

Feminism is a joke. They only want things to be equal when it is advantageous.
That's not just feminism to be fair. Everyone wants equality when something is working against them, whereas when the system leans in their favour, they somehow don't have a problem with it! I wonder how many of these feminists would be happy to lose their job due to affirmative action of someone else? Maybe I just see things through my white male glasses, but I don't see that anything is holding women back, except biology, and that isn't going to change anytime soon. How is the biology is affecting it? Anyway, the answer to all the Women from Men against Feminism should be equality where no gender is above the other gender.

All this doesn't proves anything.
The women and men who are practicing Islam, their right should be the same.
If a woman is married to 4 husbands, then she will choose who she wants to fuck/suck and make kids with.
You keep saying it makes sense but it doesn't. But you're blinded by your faith, so you can't see pass it.
And about AISHA, doesn't matter if you say she was matured or she was happy. She was a kid and it was wrong. If you had a daughter, would allow her to get married at the age of 9 and let her be happy with an old guy?
[/quote]
I totally agree with you dear. I don't understand how can be people so cruel to small kids. They can't even imagine the pain of the young girl she might be going through at this very moment when we are talking all nonsense about her.

Turkey is widely considered as the most progressive Muslim nation in the world. If these sort of stories are coming out from there, what we can expect from countries such as Saudi Arabia and Sudan, which are considered as some of the most orthodox?
Yes you are correct. Turkish people are one of the most liberal people among all the muslim countries. People says if one wants to know about any country, go through the cinema. If you watch some Turkish movies, you will know what I am talking about ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Can I ask you where do you live?
South-east Asia. Maybe as Sithara 007 said, in the metro city there isn't that problem. The problem is the countryside city, etc.
It is a problem everywhere. Even in the metro cities, they are charging $25 per month for a 512 Kbps connection. And the quality is very bad. India is the place where you get bad quality stuff for ultra-expensive prices. In that sense you are absolutely right my friend. In India, everything is costly as compare to West or Europe but the services or quality are really shitty. It is only because there is strict Consumer protection laws as compare to India. Of topic but I bought a Tommy Polo Tee in around equivalent to 80-90USD and the same Tee with much better quality you can get in the US in fraction of that amount.

I've been thinking about this, and I believe the next 'parity party' should be when one bit equals one USD cent. That will be the $10,000 bitcoin point.
Yeah that's what I am talking about. That will be really a day for Party!!!! Let's wait for the day.

Discuss how much you have lost and how.
Even I lost around 5 in one of the exchange but I didn't mind that I got it by one of my friend at very cheap rate.

Just a information: if 650k BTC that previously not in the market suddenly pushed into the market, then the price must drop by a lot!
Absolutely, the price would probably crash. The market barely handles te 3600 btc that ar mined each day let alone 650k bitcoin. But this doesn't look like a trustworthy or official source. This might be tactic to bring the bitcoin rate down though I am not sure about it. Someone should do monitoring for all such kind of reportings.

Are girls / women interested in Bitcoin ? Your opinion ?
Yes of course, I myself use it. And plenty of my friends are having it in their wallet though they came to know about it through me only ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Some months ago a veteran poster said that there is big news to be expected around mid-April. I can't find the thread.
Anyone?
Sounds interesting and mysterious, probably another big service will accept bitcoin or satoshi will reveal himself ? Until the 15th we have to wait and speculate what it is, it might just be nothing ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I am also doubtful about anything big on the said date. This might be just a hoax.

I had a most interesting discussion with a investment banker today. I asked him the question... "Do you see Bitcoin as a disruptive technology or a threat to the traditional banking system" His answer {Most arrogantly} ....We do not consider Bitcoin as a "real" currency. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I then asked him to define a currency in his opinion ...and he said ..." a system of money in general use in a particular country " I then told him...Bitcoin is a global currency... He then replied.. "But nobody use it" ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) They are clearly in the "Let's ignore it" phase of the disruption cycle... When they wake up... it will be to late to change. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) In my opinion, any currency should have a legal backing by the respective country by the equivalent amount of Gold in it's reserve. What do you say? Is it correct or not? We've already been there. After 1944 the US dollar had been allegedly backed up by gold till Nixon Shock. And many countries were on the gold standard even before that (I mean before the First World War). Didn't end very well, though... So you see, Bitcoin is and will be a virtual currency till someone or some country start backing it by some physical property like Gold, land, or any other kind of asset which has a real value in the market.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
Investment is a kind of savings. If you are doing savings then you can not keep it in the cash form with you. You will have to invest it in Fixed deposit, Real state, gold or shares, etc.
|
|
|
Both
For me I will not put all my eggs in one basket. I will invest 80% in Gold and 20% in Bitcoin, if that possible.

OP's answer would depend on 2 major factors: - How much fiat does he need to retire and live comfortable life in your country? - What is YOUR belief of Bitcoin's future and price speculation?
For example: If you need $200,000 to retire and if you think Bitcoin can at least go up to $10,000 in next five years. Then I need to buy 20 Bitcoins (20 x $10,000 = $200,000)
So there is no specific answer to the 2nd part of the equation. Your retirement fund is a static amount, but BTC price is a dynamic one. Go figure!
Yes totally true. In my opinion, one can not rely on a highly volatile source of investment for his/her retirement or any any other needful funds. The fluctuations in the prices is very sharp and dynamic. And no one can predict of future of Bitcoin after 20 years.

A different look at the Bitcoin market: http://www.finance-guy.net/finblog/bitcoin-not-a-bubbleit's not a very positive opinion, but I agree that something needs to be done to attract the general masses to use Bitcoin. Something needs to make BTC more attractive than cash for everyday people. What kind of incentives do you think would work for the people you know? The biggest problem what I think is that this currency doesn't have any legal backing from any Government department of from any country and that is one of the main problem because of which people are afraid to deal in Bitcoin. The second reason could be the less awareness among the general public who usually deal in normal currency. What do you think?

I totally agree with the original poster. But there is one more important thing which is well said by the famous business tycoon Warren Buffett that as soon as possible try to create a second source of income. Now let's try to understand what this second source of income can be: it can be an investment in the form of property through which you can have a rental income, or it can be buying of shares of some good dividend paying company, etc. But the sooner you created this source the better would be for yourself.
