2421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin makes money on: April 14, 2018, 07:54:52 PM
why should not I expect to get rich through bitcoins (or any new technology)?
the main reason that is driving this world forward is greed, new technologies and bitcoins
are one of the easiest ways to get rich, these are new money in the making, compared to the "old money"-banking,businesses,etc.
a simple example - bitcoin price went up thousands of times,if you invested in it early, you are rich already
same goes with everything that you have better information about than the vast majority of others
information is a resource in the modern world, those who control get rich or powerful,or both
2422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: April 14, 2018, 05:12:18 PM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

Look at the benefits of bitcoin.

* Works online 100%, 100%transparent for private and commercial use. Total control of private or public money for it's holder or holders, investors, governments etc.
* As It's works online there no need of expensive steel safes or bank deposits to keep your money safe. Any password or time code can be used.
* No fees. Unlike cash, hasn't 2%-3% of inflation every single year.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micro payments via electronic card.
* 0 confermations time, with introduction of "instant pay" function.
* 0 exchange risks in use of proper securities and competent insurance.
* any entrepreneurs is able to understanding of the value of payment.
* No need for pay terminal for small businesses. For small entrepreneurs it's a high expense of 70 bucks every month.
* Theoretically it's would not be needed to have an expensive licensed cash register, for small entrepreneurs, as every transaction is totally transparent. So cases of black money flow would be easily found and proven.
* Banking and gambling. No need of any verification for CFD,Stock,Currency or gambling services.

lots of benefits, but bitcoin has transaction fees Cry

can't believe you are discussing it for 68 pages already, seriously
bitcoin does have transaction fees,so do cash and bank transactions
you don't send money for free from bank to bank,do you
bitcoin is not "better" than cash,it is different and has its usage
but cancel cash and you turn the world into a technological despotic state

no refresh after every bet is yay! one lil thing to fix- #getfaucetback! Smiley
just kidding, won't make any difference anyways, but think VIPS got to recieve some recognition,at least #getviptagsback

My browser still gives me the same problem as before. Can you tell us what you did to make it work as expected? I use chrome browser btw.

I'm using Firefox latest,I cleared browser cache and cookies that belonged to Primedice
after browser restart same things were happening= screen blackout after every roll
I did it a few times over and over,literaly 3-4 times,restarting everytime
then I rebooted my PC,after that the bug disappeared
not sure if the same procedure will help you,but it did help me

Why is website loading stuck? I just keep on seeing the primedice logo getting scrambled and rearranged again and again and nothing is happening.
The last time I visited the site I got surprised with the new design. But then I found something strange. Whenever I clicked the my bets tab, it give me a blank page. I asked on chat and no one answer it.

I'm having some problems with Opera/Chrome too (working on FIrefox). I know the guys are working to solve it know.

same issue here,latest Firefox
my screen goes blank after each and every bet, only refresh helps
cleared cookies, chache, restarted etc. - nothing is working
also the new version is 10 satoshi  faucet - the worst bug ever  Grin
well it is only expected after an update, but I hoped it would have been sorted faster, since it seems I'm not alone with this problem
2427  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-27] Twitter Confirms Ban On Cryptocurrency ADS on: April 12, 2018, 04:35:17 PM
only expexted, since Google,Facebook,Twitter are all parts of one big machine
you can't expect one part to ban the ads and another just pretend nothing happened
on the other hand, there will be less ICO and get rich 1000% ROI ads I hate so much
but as per usual, the baby is gone with the bath water so it is more negative than positive

2429  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [10-04-2018] Couple Arrested For Scamming People Into Investing In Bitcoin on: April 12, 2018, 03:54:36 PM
Yeah, the couple took off with 900 Million PHP and its all over the news here in the Philippines. And the sad part is that my nephews and nieces keep asking me if I'm a scammer. LOL. Damn, that's a lot of money and I'm glad that the couple was caught by the authorities. But I'm sure that those criminals have lived a lavish lifestyle and that the money is all gone now. It was reported that they were able to lured a lot of investors and a promise of good ROI in 15 days and most of them have invested during the November and December ran of bitcoin, so obviously there's a lot of money to be made during that time, unfortunately, the market crashes that's why the couple wasn't able to pay the investors.

ha,bad reputation with nephews and nieces now, made me chuckle a little bit
that is 17 mil $ + we are talking about here,it is more than enough for the victims to try and execute this couple
and I'm sure they lost at least 2/3 of it since the price has crashed, probably they did plan to return (or not) but the market said no
as for the lavish lifestyle... 17 mil,man you cannot possibly waste so much money in a short time
but I highly doubt there will be any compensation for the victims, maybe there is a chance to trace the remaining coins
but the majority of the money is gone for sure
2430  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [10-04-2018]Japan: Trading Statistics Reveals Over 3 Million Cryptocurrency on: April 11, 2018, 08:33:49 PM
Japan: Trading Statistics Reveals Over 3 Million Cryptocurrency Investors
A recent statistical report released by Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) shows that the country has at least 3.5 million cryptocurrency traders.

The FSA report was deduced from data collected from 17 cryptocurrency exchanges in Japan. According to the statistics, investors in their 20s, 30s and 40s make up a major share of the total crypto trader population in Japan, accounting for 28, 34, and 22 percent, respectively.

The statistics showed that Bitcoin was the highest traded cryptocurrency in Japan, accounting for about 67% of the total transaction volume as at March 31.

they should sort their issues with Binance
or they risk to drop way below that figure if the exchange moves its residency to another country
I wonder how many of that 67% is Binance's share?
2431  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitroDice.com - Welcome to the new era of DICE GAMING! on: April 11, 2018, 07:29:52 PM
You're actually telling that 2000 bets per minutes are allowed on your site?
I believe you should know that this could be highly mid used and won't be much of a benefit for the house.
Can someone confirm if they have actually done 2k bets per minute?
What's wrong with having that amount of bets per minute ? As long as it doesn't jam the server and give a terrible user experience for everyone accessing the game at that point of time,it's fine. Also 2000 bets per minute is a small number compared to the players who auto-bet using a bot. They do much more than that!

You are right, 2000 bets per minute is small amount but how if there are hundreds players doing the same thing at the same time? Obviously it will jam the server IMO, I do not even know what is the advantage of allowing players to have 2000 bets per minutes. I'm sure it will be used only by players with small bets only because big players wont think twice to use this speed for big bet amount.
Overall, it does not worth for both players and the site's owner.

have never seen sites that are capable of rolling 35 bets per second (2000/60 roughly)
the one dice site that came close to it was Fast dice, now defunct
it is almost impossible to do so without a proper infrastructure i.e. deciated servers with load balancers etc.
you cannot expect to set one one even several VPS and have such  a speed
wait untill 10-200 bots are rolling at the same time,I am sure the speed won't be anywhere near advertised

on the unrelated note, planning any promotions?
also the site doesn't have any way to testdrive it without depositing,no faucet,no play money
2432  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIR-DICE.COM - REALISTIC gaming site FREE BITCOIN/DOGECOIN/LITECOIN FAUCET on: April 11, 2018, 06:11:49 PM
almost exact copy of Pocket dice (turned out to be not trustworthy at all)
since admins say they wrote it from scratch and knowing the bad reputation pocketdice had
I wonder why did you choose the same concept and almost identical form too

registered, rolled some, everything looks cool and the rolls are pretty fast
there is a free faucet too, which is nice
affiliate link doesn't work-not nice at all, myabe because the site is new and you haven't introduced it yet
there is no info on the minimal withdrawal and deposit figures, love the ability to choose tx fee,it is a nice touch
overall-lets wait and see,the market is stacked and yet another dice game can make it only if marketed properly and worked on
hope admins are up for the task and good luck with your business
2433  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-04] India is more interested in Ethereum than Bitcoin on: April 11, 2018, 05:43:14 PM
I wonder how did they manage to calcultae that?
since the currencies are pseudoanonymous and all they can count is some volumes traded or searches
it doesn't mean that one currency is more popular than the other,it is just that it is traded more or has more search queries
there is no way on earth they will be able to connect wallets to the owners geographically
so take this info with a pinch of salt, will you?
2434  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-05] Japanese Police Arrest Chinese Man for Selling Cryptocurrency Ex... on: April 11, 2018, 05:24:45 PM
good thing there is no bitcointalk police, since there were literally hundreds of exchanges' accounts offered on sale here
there were times when you could not register and so many people wanted to trade...
this guy was sentecned for identity theft and money laundering rather than opening the accounts
since they were used for illegal activities and he must have used identities to veify them
2435  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [10-04-2018] Couple Arrested For Scamming People Into Investing In Bitcoin on: April 11, 2018, 11:07:19 AM
yeah even Einstein once said that fear and greed were the two main forces that drive the world forward Smiley
the third was stupidity, not much has changed since
if you read some marketing strategies handbooks, they say that if your offer doesn't appeal to the great three:
laziness greed or stupidity-you are doing something wrong
well, lets hope that it was a good lesson for those who lost their money and hope they recover some of the losses
p.s. at least they know what the cryptocurrencies are now  Roll Eyes
2436  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [10-04-2018] Couple Arrested For Scamming People Into Investing In Bitcoin on: April 10, 2018, 07:11:33 PM
probably preying on people who are not very tech or cryptocurrency savvy at all
also looks like they were tempted by some retardedly high profits, which is a huge red flag in any investment
especially dealing with the things you have some very vague idea about
what is really sad, that some of them might have given away their life savings
I have a very mixed feelings towards it,on one hand ,victims, you cannot be that gullible and greedy,on the other hand
people got to be protected from the scammers like that
2437  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-07] Retailer Adoption of Bitcoin is Growing in the US and Canada on: April 10, 2018, 06:55:52 PM
at least some good news nowadays
not enough to see the price grow, but Newegg has a huge customer base
even if some of them see the bitcoin payment option and wondered what the heck is that and Googled
its a success, but with millions of users, paying for things with coins(potentially at least) this news is not to be uderestimated
increased adoption, positive news and non crashing markets is what we need
hope more giant chains and businesses introduce bitcoin payment option soon, too
2438  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [05-04-2018] Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Bans Indian Banks on: April 10, 2018, 06:26:50 PM
again the same principle:if we do not know how to control something,we rather ban it Sad
sad it happened to India, they could have been one of the most important countries in the region for the crypta
if the goverment decided to legalise it instead, actually, there were rumours that bitcoin would be legalised
and now this sad news, well the countries that are late to the party will be standing aside watching others
IMHO prohibitions achieve nothing, just open more floodgate for blackmarket and criminal activity around bitcoin

@SDMOD @SafeDice

Are you going to let us recover lost usernames and passwords? I haven't been able to connect to my account for now months ... I also sent a mail to the support many times but I didn't get any help yet.

Of course they do, I believe they already posted their support email there and you should contact them by emailing them. You can see it on a few posts above you. Btw if there is no money or no deposit at all for period of time, why dont you make a new account with a good security of course so there will be no this kind of problems occur

I know that you can email them. That's what I've done. I meant are they going to add an option on their website to recover lost passwords and account names like almost every website by simply clicking on "I lost my password/username" instead of emailing them. That was my point

safedice has never been famous for the extra fast support timings
just read the thread^^
it became better as of recently but still, people are complaining that they cannot get into their accounts for days and that is unacceptable
you have to be patient, messaging here won't solve your problem, try to pm them and nag the support as much as you can
I know it can be a drag waiting for your account/money to get unlocked and safedice should have the automatic recovery option long time ago
