2421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO NEWS:FBI Warns COVID-19 Scammers Are Targeting Crypto Holders. on: April 16, 2020, 03:07:01 PM
I think they are not only going after the cryptocurrency scammers but also those who used the medium to steal from individuals and governments in respect of medical supplies. There have been news around the globe about a certain group of individuals that scammed over 1.5million € in the name of coronavirus kits. Hope they're all fished out of their hidings and made to face the wrought of the government, these guzs have bitten more than what they can chew. Meanwhile, hope the government find those who are involved and not going after the innocent.
They also should go after with the creator of fake donation email named after COVID saying it is for the people who are struck by the virus. I don't know why these people are happily scamming others in light  with hopelessness due to the pandemic, they are so cruel. But I know that everyone has had enough with this kind of environment So I assume that there is just only a few that will fall to those scams right?

For cryptocurrency holders, be more careful this times and double check all URL visit before proceeds for either sign up or long in. Also, downloading apps that's not from the right source. Stop hunting for $ that can easily land you into trouble, don't install apps that's from unknown source.
What I can suggest to my fellow crypto holders, just don't always open it, nothing will happen to it trust me if you have a secured network and application. Hunter can barely hunt when the prey is not moving and not visible.
2422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In times of turmoil, is Bitcoin really a safe-haven asset? on: April 16, 2020, 01:59:13 PM
In times like these I don't really think that anyone will choose Bitcoin as an asset they are going to invest in, unless you have enough money and you just want to buy at a cheaper rate and hold till all these come to an end and the price goes back up again.
For some reason people can easily choose between gold and bitcoin as an asset, let us assume that they are going to buy during this time, we can simply conclude that they are going to invest with bitcoin since quarantine is still ongoing and they cannot buy gold, bitcoin on the other hand is a digital asset which you can clearly acquire with internet access. Aside bitcoin has a low price compare to past few months, so there is a chance that people will choose bitcoin than any thing else.

2423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 14, 2020, 04:36:37 PM
ATH is not out from my sight but the problem is we got nothing to expect to come out this time of crisis, of course, we can't disclose its possibility but the chances is low. That is why I shouldn't have to think about it, in fact, I'm satisfied already with what the market has shown to us. Even though we are still low, I believe that traders are still making gains at this time.
Maybe we are getting another all time high this year or maybe not at all. Halving might bring a good run for cryptocurrencies or might not. Even when things are looking good we cannot just assume that we are going into another all time high, I mean it's not the same scene anymore with cryptocurrencies it is more of like a competition among the riches and they are the ones who are deciding when the market could go bullish.
Now seems like they are giving us time to build a price for them, it's interesting how the price is not increasing as the halving coming near.

2424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Fucking Chinese on: April 14, 2020, 12:26:48 PM
It is very easy to say things like that but please understand

1. It is off topic
2. You need to stop using bad words for people as a whole
3. They have also suffered tremendously therefore we do not have right to say anything like that
4. If they are able to provide business to the world at time like this then they are helping more than anything, and therefore we should stop the racism and stop encouraging people like Trump.
5. There have been hypothesis that the virus, it was originally made in US and someone sold it to Chinese .

We do not know what is true or not but let's not be racist:))

That's what the Chinese propagandists are spreading. The Chinese propagandists are also lying about China's infection rate, and death rates. Their country is ground-zero, more people, more dirty wet-markets, and they have less total cases than USA, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and UK?
This is they were being suspected about the virus and calling it their work to pause the world and destroy its enemies in line without harming the relations to other country and avoid world war but I guess
we are going to hear the truth sooner or later. The China's economy too, it is doubtably not declining while the others economy is struggling and losing its stance. I don't want to sound racist but Chinese are being too silly these days.
2425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: April 13, 2020, 07:08:29 PM
How many times one can loose all his trading accounts before really start trading and earn.

I have lost 5 times some small accounts (less than 100$)
And one little big account (400$) in trading.

Amount doesn't matter everything depend on you.
Actually mate it matters, the profit will depend on the capital, you cant't gain a thousand dollar with a dollar unless a miracle happens.

First you need to see if you have the ability to do day trading. If you do not have trading knowledge, you will lose small or big amounts in few trades. However, if you are an expert in trading, then you can increase your capital. You can increase your trading knowledge by trading with small amounts. Which will help you in the future.
Knowledge is the foundation of your skills, every one can day trade but not every one can win in day trading. $100 for me is enough, I don't know it is just maybe for me coz I can make that $100 into $300 after a good trade in a week or two, depends on the market situation. Make it a habit, the longer you are trading the more you add money to it. Invest on your trading life, no one knows what it could bring to you but the risk is worth, perhaps.
2426  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: April 13, 2020, 06:35:24 PM
Many people today think that the china is really hits the pandemic crisis because most of the time it is the other country at the first place even in the china starts the virus they have the most cured people and after that it is spreading the really hits hard is the United States and after that is the Korea and the Europe and still there is no active anti virus or vaccine but still we are hoping they are now immediately make a cure because it is really hits hard the market and many people getting affected and also the stock market does not make a good trading to mske more earnings.
It is really suspicious on China's part, just think about it, the virus was discovered in Wuhan, China yet the connecting cities to it like Beijing and Shanghai seems to be unaffected by it however other countries like Italy and USA which is farther away from them gets the virus and severely damaged economically. I really tried not to think that China did not do it, but as day passes and I read facts on the internet it makes me think of the dots that may be connected to each other. The recovery rate in China is high which makes me more suspicious about them.
2427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: April 13, 2020, 05:50:40 PM
The market is standing still and investors are on a wait and see now, people are waiting for this pandemic to end and they are following if there is a new vaccine or any vaccine will be released in the next few months, judging from all the news coming out at least 4 countries are on clinical test on a proven vaccine, so there is hope that this pandemic will be controlled.
Been watching the market for a couple of days now, I'm quite impress by the support from people for not letting it down and thanks to the resistance that kept the price at not bad range. I've just bought an ethereum worth $50 today since it's price is at $150, not that bad I guess for my bucks, tomorrow if I see it lower than my buying price today I would not hesitate to buy again.

Will you start buying after the release of the vaccine or are you go going to wait or are you now buying because you know the market will eventually get better.
Literally this time is the best buying time that we are going to see this year, not thanking the pandemic but it slowed down the process into halving so any one could ride before the tidal.
2428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline cryptocurrency transfer? on: April 12, 2020, 04:39:30 PM
then it should be possible to truly send BTC via SMS as well
It is, and there are several projects which allow you to do this. This most well known is probably Samurai wallet - https://www.samouraiwallet.com/offline. Once you sign a transaction on your offline wallet, you can broadcast it via a GoTenna mesh network or via SMS.
Just read about samurai wallet just now but I guess the same principle is used to this post. It looks like running under several conditions using antennas, and sms will act like the trigger to let the transaction be broadcast however it is not what we wanted right? If I'm reading you guys right, we wanted an easy peasy transaction with just a single text right? It looks more complicated than what we really think of, impossible to make I guess.

It could be nice if we could finally send or transfer cryptocurrency offline but how would we know if it has been sent successfully?
You can use a service such as Blockstream Satellite (https://blockstream.com/satellite/) to receive the most recent blocks and keep your node up to date. That way you will know when your transaction has been confirmed without ever needing an internet connection. Other than cost of the hardware to set up your satellite receiver, it is free to receive the latest blockchain data by satellite.
There are still a lot to do for us just like the confirmation, how do we determine if the transaction was confirmed if we are offline and we are just using our smartphone?
Using the Blockstream Satellite needs a lot too, coz you will be needing a small satellite antenna and a USB receiver to sync the blocks in your node. Another problem is there are limited coverage of this satellites so other places is ineligible for using Blockstream.
2429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 12, 2020, 03:09:21 PM
I don't think there is a need to Buy 1 when we can have them Both?I mean Buy Bitcoin and some part buy gold so we have two investing.
It's been a long way since this discussion has started, Gold or Bitcoin, but why? These two are good investments but the thing is, it has differences most mentioned is the volatility. Then the right answer
will be on your investment style, if you want your money to be safe at a very long time and ready anytime for emergency situation like this then you should buy the Gold but if you wants to risk your money then put
it in more volatile asset like bitcoin.
But i personally advice Put the Bigger part in Bitcoin because the chance of growing is more faster than Gold since Gold is a sure investment because of Physical but risky also for if we are being robbed or any criminals Get into it.
Bitcoin is growing faster but gold is older, you would not satisfy investors with faster growing asset coz it will look like just a bubble, really. I would still root for gold but still have a bitcoin in my wallet. Buy both!
2430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: April 12, 2020, 02:41:13 PM
I am still holding into my bitcoin since I was able to keep my job that is operational despite the lockdown.
Me too, sometimes I'm tempted to withdraw from bitcoin since it is the only thing I save after the lockdown but I always think that it would not be beneficial at all and would just lost because I bought at $10K last February, I admit it was a clumsy move from me but I can't do anything anymore but to wait. I'm trying to find any job alternative now inside or outside cryptocurrency but it seems like I really need a capital for it.
Honestly, I am not an expert when it comes to economics and I have not experienced this massive economic crash so I have no idea if ever after the pandemic the economic downfall will even get worse or will it start recovering and what would it's a direct effect on the crypto market as a whole. It can either push crypto to evolve or will it let crypto go down the drain.
I were not able to feel the recession back then, I was too young to feel it but I saw how my parents struggled during that time, and now that the recession is coming again I don't know what to do, we don't have jobs, businesses are closed and the only support we got is from the government that can't even last up to a month. 2020 isn't great but I hope it would do good for crypto, this is my only ace.
2431  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: April 11, 2020, 05:02:02 PM
In my own personal opinion, it will take years before scientists and doctors to create a vaccine and a cure for a virus, that is why there are still a lot of people who are infected in corona virus and it takes a lot of time for a COVID-19 patient to recover.
Personal estimate, it would take at least a year to find a vaccine and the only thing we can do for now is to isolate every person under investigation, person under monitoring and covid patient to avoid in contact with others and prevent disease spreading. If we could just take them out of their families then we'll do it. The only thing we have now is the plasma therapy that came from recovered patients, I hope there would be something in there that could possibly unlock the solution for the cure.

I also think that there is a business behind this virus that the one who created the virus is just waiting for billions of people get infected before he show the cure to offer him billions of dollar.
hmmm not really, because if I were the government I would only buy a single vaccine, study and mass produce it. Government would not be too dumb for this.
2432  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Should be subsubject in Economy on: April 11, 2020, 03:05:12 PM
Bitcoin entered into education subjects is a positive and good thing for students to get to know more about the cryptocurrency digit currency and the blockchain technology used by bitcoin.
You mean blockchain courses right? We already have a lot of universities that offers the blockchain courses that will help us into the future to build the ideal society that we want. It is not just about cryptocurrency, it is way more valuable than that, and that is paving the road of systems. Educating people about blockchain will not only boost the hunger of people to know blockchain but it will help a lot of branches to it like cryptocurrency especially bitcoin, ethereum and other heavy asset in the market right now.

2433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: April 11, 2020, 02:29:39 PM
We are going to suffer a recession in the economy due to the Coronavirus that has already affected all markets, including Bitcoin and all alternative currencies. I also believe that the economies of the countries that do not solve the problem of the epidemic soon may fare worse.
We are going to suffer it even without the corona virus, the economy of european countries and USA is already declining even before the corona virus has discovered and spread. I don't believe that the main reason for us to suffer recession is the pandemic,  the corona virus just make it severe enough that we might suffer it sooner or later, in the next 5 years or so.

A positive view of the problem is that we can have soon a cure for Covid19.
After Covid19 Leaders of the world will need better ways to finance the global economy.
The world is facing a great enemy now, we cannot focus on two different matter especially the other one is the cost of lives of many people. Let's just hope for the best for the world, money is worthless without people.
2434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong BTC Adress, copied from Binance's Dashboard on: April 11, 2020, 01:36:04 PM
Ive seen some issues like this. Copying wrong btc address. Binance isn't responsible about that .1 you have sent to the wrong address. You have a malware inside your phone or pc. Maybe you have downloaded some malicious app or click some malicious sites containing this malware which you will copy pasted wrong btc address. Unfortunatelty, if the transaction was successful, you can't get back that .1 btc.
I agree, If the said problem is caused by a malware attack secretly installed then Binance is out of your problem otherwise if this happen to be a system breach from the greatest exchange in current time then it would be a blast but I don't think it was their mistake since it is just you that I have seen this kind of problem. Most probably it was due to malware attack that you caught from your browsing style, you might clicked something that isn't good for your computer.

Haven't you triple check your btc address before sending it out? This maybe a lesson learned not just for you but to everyone here.
Old and gold reminder, always double check the recipient of  your funds, it may takes time but at least it will be safe.
2435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: April 11, 2020, 12:40:22 PM
I don't think that this will probably work on these days,
I think it could still work these days since the bitcoin price is low, you can take advantage of the price of it until the pumping season begins.

The fact that you can make a profit by investing a dollar every day is because it has been done over the past five years. Its price for the past five years cannot be compared to its current price and its movement today. So, if someone will start to invest today until the next five years, there is no guarantee of making a profit because its price is not the same as before when it is still affordable by everyone.
If by chance I knew that we are going to be this high with bitcoin, I could have sold every thing that I have back then and buy a bitcoin. I'm going to be happy living in the streets with 5bitcoin in my wallet
lol. However no one have ever predicted it coming right? not until it reaches the $2000 price way back 2017 and the price pump continues. That time was very risky for every one since it was the first time that digital asset have gone too far even from this point.
2436  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: April 10, 2020, 07:29:14 PM
The best crypto currency to invest is still ethereum and bitcoin because bitcoin  and ethereum is the most trusted and most amazing coin that can really give us a huge amount of profit if we are going to control our emotion we really need patience so that we can earn on it.

How can someone that is on the market for such a long time, someone that literally "cant bring or produce something new or innovative" as it already did it, "give huge amount of profit" ? I think both bitcoin and ethereum can give a stable, but not huge profit.
If you are still focus on bitcoin and ethereum then nothing has happened to you as you were just a beginner because you only sees the top of the pyramid like every ignorant in crypto does. There is bitcoin forks, chainlink, Tezos that can be a huge opportunity for getting a profit yet you were just able to talk about bitcoin and ethereum. Bitcoin has the half of market dominance but bitcoin is now at low so what do you need to then? pick the alternatives.

Huge profit can give something that is risky and innovative. Like BNB price jump when Binance announced first IEO.
BNB? lol. BNB is like -15% down for a month now and -38% for a year. see it for yourself.
2437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: April 10, 2020, 06:54:36 PM
Fiat is easier for everyday use. It is much faster and more reliable for use for me, and the stores do not accept any cryptocurrency from us, so there is no choice. Although fiat is good when the currency is kept at a stable level or is strengthened. If everything is completely bad, then it is better to store it in Bitcoin and sell it for needs.

This is what I'm talking about, the discussion for fiat replacement with cryptocurrency is not as possible as it seems because it is very complicated and complex. We might revise all that we already have just to put the cryptocurrency in between. I'm not being negative or anti-bitcoin I'm just stating that we are not yet capable of doing these things although we can bring this back to light after the covid19 since we can already argue that bitcoin is good alternative in crisis like this.
2438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona virus exploited by some scammers on: April 10, 2020, 06:00:46 PM
Its common that scammers will try their best to make people fool and they haven’t got pure soul to think about pandemic or anything else. All the need is money and they don't care about from where it comes. In previous time we have seen that these evils took advantage of any kinda worse situation and all their plan is to steal people's money through using emotions or something similar.
Very true, don't let them be a hero in your eye coz they told you something that has not been proven because it will just blind you. Money is all they want, if anyone go after you randomly or some
stranger in the internet approach you at least be observant or do not hesitate to ignore at all. Scammers be fishing even at times during people are very needy for what their necessities are, that's how
heartless they are.

This time some scammers are trying to use the scope of donation during Covid-19 and their intention is to attract soft hearted people who love help helpless people by makong donation. As far as i know WHO take donation and donation option is available on their website too. Its better to donate there rather then wasting money by giving donation on scammers platform. Hope people will be enough careful about it.
Corona virus plus scammers will really blow your head off if these two gets in your way. Donation  with crypto is a total bullcrap don't even try to click it.
2439  Economy / Economics / Re: Repeating the Mistakes of the 2008 Bailout on: April 10, 2020, 04:45:51 PM
That's the reason bitcoin was created in the first place.
Hmm I think not. Bitcoin was released as early as January in 2009, and the recession has ended as late as June 2009, I don't think the man behind bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, did come up to create bitcoin in a
matter of months? I mean there is nothing we should think about how bitcoin was supposed to do. We have tons of digital cash concepts in the past that could've trigger Satoshi's mind to create and start a new one.

The irony is that now bitcoin follows the stock market in its ups and downs.
Fear. This is all that caused the crashes and declines from all the market because of the corona virus. Basically, people is needing what they need to survive so it would not be too logical if we see the market crashing all this time. You know even billionaires panic when life is at the edge.
2440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using crypto to help the homeless - (for real - with pics!) on: April 10, 2020, 03:42:53 PM

Homelessness and jobless is close to each other, once you are jobless it won't be long and you are going to be homeless. The recession as they said is coming and it could take a worse turn for the homeless. I wonder how they are eating, it would be good if they live the shore where they can go fishing. They could cheer up with the thought that when hitting rock bottom, there is no where else to go but up.
So everyone now feeling the recession with the pandemic ? Coz I feel it coming sooner or later. With jobless and homeless people, I don't think they will be at least see by the government to take any action to provide them what they need and helping through crypto ( althought most of us wants to) is a kinda weird idea at some point. If the recession happens again, might as well save yourself first it is not being selfish in a way, but it is the rule for survival, be pitiful and get left behind.
