2421  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is the biggest investment opportunity in the future on: July 22, 2021, 08:00:14 PM
Bitcoin is now the biggest opportunity in society. Bitcoin has existed for more than ten years, and it has driven the development of blockchain digital currency. Due to the high price volatility and other characteristics of cryptocurrency, there is a lot of room for speculation. Now more people are researching and investing in cryptocurrency, and the accepted scope of cryptocurrency is also expanding, and it can be traded and circulated all over the world.
Cryptocurrency is a very good investment, although I wouldn’t say any investment is the biggest, any of them serve you as long as you know what you’re doing and you’re doing it the right way. I do know for sure that cryptocurrency is in the top list of big investments anyone can make that would actually pay off within a few years, or months and weeks, even days. So it’s a really good investment. But we also have to know that things have really changed and is no longer as it used to be back then. It’s no longer as it was when you can buy it for a cheap price and make a thousand profit easily. Things are changing now as the market is becoming quite stable.
2422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: July 22, 2021, 06:41:59 PM
I commented the same thing that casinos where there are sexy women will only distract the players and will be responsible for the fights between husband and wife. How will a couple feel when he goes to a casino and the guy's wife sees a naked casino worker? or in very short clothes? people who are married, or religious radicals or people who are more conservative will not go to these kind of casinos.
The wife shouldn't be going to the casino with her husband then probably because what do you expect at a casino? The dealers wearing hijab (due respect) or other religious/formal dresses. The casino is seen as a place of fun and entertainment and somewhat glamour and although I agree that husband and wife will have disputes if one of the partners has a crush on someone else but the solution is avoiding casinos rather than expecting casinos to have staff with formal dresses.

To me, a sexy casino in true words is that which provides me the maximum bonus and listens to my problems at priority rather than sexy girls hovering around me.
2423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: July 22, 2021, 06:00:43 PM
Isn't it possible that these friendly matches might become "fixed matches," with the winner determined before the game begins? This indicates that there is a great deal of corruption going on behind the scenes in these matches, with no competitive or strategic play.

Some may also argue that matches like this are merely for the purpose of putting their training into practice which means that the result does not matter.
Yes, it's possible, but keep in mind even competitive matches can be fixed. Probably what happens with friendly matches is that it's easier to fix the results without causing too much suspicion from people around since there will be always the excuse nothing was being disputed (reward, title, prize, trophy, etc), so the players didn't put any effort on it.

This uncertainty makes logical analyzes inaccurate and bets on this category much more risky than in normal games.
If it worths the risk or not I think it will depend on the size of the gambler's bankroll and on how much he is willing to lose.
Friendly matches might be easier to fix in other ways than tanking the game actually. I mean both the teams can agree to a fixer playing a slow-paced game and avoiding taking shots or taking too many shots as per the demand of the fixer. Personally, I am not too fazed by match-fixing because I am a small gambler and I don't care if teams are fixing games because a fixing might even happen in my favor too.

Mind you, I hate match-fixing no doubt but there is no way to detect it and a few players getting caught and penalized a few thousand backs doesn't mean too much either and the truth is that some of the officials are also corrupted.
2424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why green bitcoin mining has become a trend? on: July 22, 2021, 05:15:03 PM
According to what I know, bitcoin mining needs energy, whether that energy is from the sun, coal, fossil fuels and others, mining needs energy, so using renewable energies will not give you an additional advantage or more profits. Why do some miners leave or use solar energy?
Does anyone have statistics or percentages of the extent of solar energy use, and is all this fuss because of Tesla, or is it media reports trying to gain more views?
The government doesn’t care whether the percentage of energy being used by cryptocurrency mining is less than the world usage, they don’t care, as long the energy is high to them,, then it’s high. A lot of people have come for bitcoin in that it consumes a lot of energy. That has always been one of their points to make whenever they want to get a lot of people to dislike bitcoin.

We have seen Elon Musk take that as excuse that he doesn’t support bitcoin because of the energy consumption is too high, and he keeps dropping that statement all the time. So, if renewable energy would be a better way to go, then it’s best that miners choose it, and that way they can reduce on the level of energy consumption.
2425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: July 22, 2021, 09:10:16 AM
My recommendation for passive income is staking of $pCWS, Seascape Network token. Seascape Network has established several partnerships for this purpose one of which is its partnership with ApeSwap where an investor gets to earn a 172% APR on stake.
You have posted a lot in favor of Seascape network as I can see from your posts history, as much as I would like to know more myself and learn about it maybe, can you help us understand how the project looks fundamentally? I don't mind discussing it with you via DM if you want.

Personally, I don't think staking is a bad option but with staking coins the value of the tokens goes down slowly which is always a concern. I think lending is another option but because of the nature of cryptocurrencies, I don't think everyone can do it safely without getting cheated every once in a while. There is even identity theft going on in the name of lending, so borrowers are not comfortable giving away their documents, and rightly so.
2426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are rampant in the market on: July 22, 2021, 08:40:40 AM
I believe I said this before in this discussion or one on the site. I think a lot of new investors could get burnt with the GME/AMC/DOGE boom.
I hope they find cool projects like Black Eye Galaxy to invest in. I am excited about this as I have always wanted to own a planet and now is my chance. Also being able to get returns is massive!
Haven't heard about the project anywhere and I am not accusing you but looks like a promotion more than an investigation to me.

I feel there are following reasons for the altcoins market to get bigger and even more stronger despite so many dead coins:

1- New coins bring a fresh possibility for investors to earn bigger returns
2- Pump and dump schemes are there which lures the investors
3- After what happened with doge, people follow various influencers on social media and hope they can find the next doge
2427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: July 21, 2021, 09:36:42 PM
This is an old topic but I decided to update.. my biggest earning to date have been .071 bitcoin... as of today that is around 2000 USD. This was a one off and it was on a game that happened on this forum. I only had to make a simple prediction: price of bitcoin at a certain moment a month into the future and miraculously I got it right to the nearest 10USD. Not bad for a 1 minute job of posting a result and a 1 minute time of setting up a bitcoin address.
my biggest winner is only about $200 which I won last year...

surely you use big capital to be able to win that much! I have never used large capital to play gambling so the results I get are little. You are very lucky.
Did you even read what he said? He said he got lucky and won a forum game and it's near impossible to predict the price in the nearest 100s, let alone the closest 10s and of course, he doesn't need a big bankroll to do that.

While I was playing at stake some weeks back, people were making fun of a bronze VIP and I remember the guy in response said a very true thing, he said "being a higher VIP rank only means you have been stupid enough to gamble more", why I am recalling it here is because having a huge bankroll in gambling only means you will lose bigger because more the wager, the bigger the losses.
2428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 July is going to big for btc price? on: July 21, 2021, 06:29:13 PM
By the looks of it there is a whole lot of community waiting for this meeting to be very beneficial for the crypto world. I get that if they come out and say something very cool it will certainly be something that is very profitable for us, who wouldn't assume that having this kind of thing help us all, we all would love it.

However what scares me is not the way they could manipulate the price to go up, that would be something good, what scares me is that maybe they will say something bad and we are already not doing that great in prices right now, it gradually dropped lower and lower, which means with one bad news we could basically turn into a very horrible situation as well. I do not know what to expect as an outcome neither, it could be very well or it could be very bad. So while everyone is getting excited about this, I am more in the scared part of things.
2429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 20, 2021, 08:07:19 PM
I understand that the club is not in a rush to give him a new big contract just yet considering he's 31 years old, but at east keep him for a year or 2 and then pick your options.

He would not generate a lot of money due to his age but would be a major loss both on the pitch and in the dressing room.
Could they be running away from paying large wage bills for these senior players?
That is only reason that makes sense. I guess he probably has high wages and LFC is weighting if he is worth that much. This year is particularly tricky due to covid measures and limited income from supporters. All clubs have to make sure they are able to close financial structure and that is why we see some great not so young players changing teams.

That being said, I also agree Liverpool should keep him, especially after losing Winnie.
Henderson has 5 million pounds salary, I am sorry but if the team that won the league last year and won champions league very recently can't pay 5 million pounds on their valuable players then I think it is time for them to break up the team and rebuild and send Klopp to a better team.

I am 100% serious, they need to be capable of paying players 5 million at least. Sure Henderson is not a Messi level player but if Barcelona is trying to get Messi for 50 million a year at his age, I am sure henderson at 31 could get 5 million pounds, hell he could get that even in a very very low level league, teams would be willing to pay him that much in championship level let alone premier league. He is as cheap as it comes and have been around for nearly 10 years or more. He is not a bad player neither, not like he got old and became bad, he is only 31 not 41.
2430  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Million Dollar Race II - UFC Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: July 20, 2021, 07:26:02 PM
14+ while not super economical has been super popular and we definitely want to keep it going. Crazy that last game it was triggered within the first quarter! Glad you're enjoying these promos, we'll keep them coming!
Once again about "if stake making enough profit" thing Cheesy. But if that 14+ thing is not really making you guys a profit and ends up being something that bleeds out money for you guys, I do not think that you should continue that next season during regular season if you are going to end up losing money constantly. I get that you are happy that we like it, but we would also like to be given one million dollars as well, will you do that? Obviously not, you can't just do what gamblers want at all times, there is a balance between what is good for the gamblers and what is good for stake and you need to find that middle ground.

I believe this 14+ thing will make you lose way too much money and should not be available by the start of next season in NBA which is months away but it is still good to decide on what you are going to do before hand.

Seeing everyone betting on Lewis Hamilton here, I can't help but feel like maybe it is about the odds? I mean think about it, if it was Max getting second biggest and Hamilton getting the biggest wagers, would you still wager on Hamilton? I wagered on Hamilton as well but I feel like there was a chance I wouldn't wager on him if it was 1.8 or lower, I would probably go towards Max if he was 2.3 or higher, but since Hamilton is an amazing driver, maybe the best ever in history, and then think how Silverstone is literally his home track that just makes it so much obvious for him to have a big chance and the odds show him as the second driver? That is just a way too good to be true situation for any gambler.
Like I guessed Hamilton won, and the odds for Hamilton were way too high, this is his place and he races here the best, it is the same dude that ran the last lap with a punctured tire for god knows how long, nearly a whole lap, and not get caught because he was THAT much further ahead of everyone else, it wasn't really the way I would like to see though. I love Max and he is my personal favorite driver, I do not really like Hamilton because he sounds like a cry baby at all times, but at the end of the day I do not wager according to my liking, I wager according to what I think will happen.

This was obvious that Hamilton would win but Max and Lewis getting a crash made things so much easier for Hamilton, it was really something hard to see because for a while even though Max was out of the car, he looked like it wasn't really looking good, now we know he is out and healthy and that is all that matters.
2432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: July 20, 2021, 03:18:45 PM
Many people claim that matic is better than dogecoin after the recession last week. Do you agree?
Personally, I don’t invest in any of these two and I think they are both the same thing, and I wouldn’t rate any above the other. They both pumped this year and also the both has been dumped heavily. Although Dogecoin seems to have had a bigger run this year than MATIC.

I don’t invest in any of them, but if you ask me which is better , I think dogecoin is better. Don’t get me wrong, Polygon is a good token, but looking at the aim of the project, it is also one of those tokens with plans to overcome Ethereum, which never works. ETH 2.0 is on the way, I wonder what’s going to be the case with these tokens. Dogecoin is something else on its own, and I think the community kind of got a bit stronger as of recent, compared to what it is before. They are now a bit more active.
2433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LIST of TOP 20 BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS on: July 19, 2021, 01:44:09 PM
What do you mean by "you don't have to pay for the withdrawal fees every time" precisely? There are some conditions? Is it possible to make several free withdrawals in one single day? What is the minimum amount to withdraw? thank you
The minimum amount would depend on the coin you are using but yeah indeed they cover all the transaction fees and I am not sure of the limit or number of times you can do that but I have made like 2-3 withdrawals in the past within a day without any problems. As long as they feel you are not abusing the feature they will let you withdraw without any fees.

I thought you are a legendary member active in the gambling section so must be aware of the cool feature already, but I hope you got to know something new and well worth it.
2434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: July 18, 2021, 08:00:58 PM
Is it a win-win solution between the players and also government?
Sometimes, the government wants to limit the gambling activities done by their citizens by setting high taxes. However, gambling is about money, and money will always make people interested in playing it much. That is why it may not be a matter for many people to keep playing gambling although should pay fr high taxes. Moreover for those who are being in gambling addiction. They may not aware of the taxes anymore.
I don't understand why the government wants to "protect" its citizens from gambling. Isn't gambling just another means of entertainment and it's much better to ban or impose higher taxes on alcohol than on gambling. If someone has earned money, they should have full control over how they want to spend it, being caring is good but people are mature enough to decide what's wrong and what's good for them.

I am not against taxes on gambling but they must not be absurdly high for the player or criminally demanding from the casino. Gambling addiction is a problem but not everyone who gambles is addicted, in fact, a lot of people who might suicide in stress may relieve themselves by gambling for a few hours.
2435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 18, 2021, 06:52:59 PM
AC Milan has signed Mike Maignan to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma as their main goalkeeper, statistically the game of the two goalkeepers has almost the same quality and it can be said that the performance of the former Lile goalkeeper is not much different from Donnarumma last season and In my opinion, AC Milan supporters need not worry, Maignan will not play under Donnarumma shadow, so he will be able to become AC Milan main goalkeeper next season.
There are very important few differences. First of all Donnarumma is a younger goalkeeper, by 4 years I believe (I didn't check so this could be wrong years but he is definitely younger), which is a huge deal, you can play Donna for 10 more years, doubtful about Mike.

Secondly and more importantly they are not the same talent, Donna was about 60 million worth, whereas Mike was 13 mil, that is nearly free, that is less than quarter of what Donna worths. So long story short I have to say it is not really the same. There is one more important thing, let's assume that Milan would lose him no matter what and got Mike and Mike ended up playing awesome, it still doesn't justify the fact that they could have just sold him instead of losing him for free, that's the main thing, they could have kept him and then sell him which would have been a lot better.
2436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 18, 2021, 06:19:36 PM
I still can't believe that Real lost both Ramos and Varane at the same time, I believed that they would at least keep Varane after they lost Ramos. Don't get me wrong, not like they do not have a defender, they still have Alaba now thanks to him leaving for free, they literally spent nothing at all to get him, it is a big deal, and they have Militao as well who is a young star in the defender position, and as a backup they have nacho who is not ideal for a team at Real level but he is a sub anyway and not the starter if you ask me.

Long story short real is not doing bad, but it is really hard to get a third defender, it is basically a situation where you are trying to get a great player for defender and tell him that you will use him when one of the other two does not play, it is hard to convince people for such a position and that is why I think they will just not get one and continue like this.
2437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the epidemic have a big impact on Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2021, 10:28:48 AM
In the global recession, nothing is safe. When economic activity is at its lowest point, people are in desperate need of money. In this state, it is not surprising that the price of Bitcoin has fallen.
In fact, if there is Bitcoin, many people will sell it. This is to be expected. Bitcoin's value will inevitably fall like stocks. Bitcoin's market is not absolutely independent of what is happening in the world. This is obvious.
But Bitcoin will not go bankrupt, it will not happen. The company may go bankrupt, and even the country may fall into a debt crisis. But Bitcoin will not reach that state. Bitcoin will eventually rebound
why?
You mean the pandemic? It did affect Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I believe you must have noticed how the market was very low at first, even after the halving has taken place. A lot of people never even expected the bull run, because most of them thought that it was something that was going to happen when we start approaching the date for the halving, but it never happened that way, rather the way it happened, it was totally different.

People did sell their coins because of how hard things were during the pandemic, and that was the talk for most people, they just want to sell since they felt it wasn’t moving. But one thing that’s normal with Bitcoin is a rebound. If you ask me whether the pandemic affected Bitcoin? Yes it did.
2438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's causing the decline this time? on: July 18, 2021, 06:15:54 AM
Can't see anything particular in the news, or is there? EM? China? Anything I'm missing?
The drop hasn’t been much, so I don’t know why to worry much about it. And there is nothing serious that I have seen as of recent that has, except some people talking about Greyscale. But anyways, the price won’t be going up all the time, it’s a usual thing with Bitcoin. And it also can’t be stable.

There are times that the market will go up in price and there are also times that it will go down in price, that’s just it. Big events don’t really need to happen for the market to go down or go up, although when those ones happen they can either push it to a very high or low. As for the recent, I don’t think there is anything, I feel it’s the normal.
2439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: July 17, 2021, 06:43:53 PM
What do you think of sexy casinos? Do you think it's a good thing? Have you ever tried any? What is your favorite one?
If by sexy you mean a casino that gives the best deals and promotions, then the one in your signature can be actually classified as a sexy casino because stake offers the best promotions not just for casino but sports betting as well.

If by sexy you mean girls spinning a roulette wheel or being the anchor of a game like crazy time, I don't find those things too interesting because I have been in real casinos in real life and the glamour you get in real life casinos cannot be matched in the virtual ones, obviously.

I don't mind playing some table games because the dealer is sexy but that is just optional, like I would prefer a female dealer over a male dealer but will I play a game just for the dealer? No.
2440  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 17, 2021, 01:49:08 PM
We are entering increasing the era of digitalization covering almost all fields including finance, many countries have planned the development of fiat currencies in digital but will they imitate crypto even without supply limits. In my opinion, crypto will be very profitable because crypto has mastered digitization since the beginning of the creation of BTC, but Replacing fiat will take a long time.
I don't see the fiat cryptos or CBDC being too popular or successful because decentralization is the key and all these cryptos developed by governments are always going to be centralized and monitored.

We are a long way from cryptocurrencies to disrupt the fiat market and become the dominant payment option. I mean even today, apart from trading, cryptocurrencies are not that useful because not many service providers are still accepting BTC because of the volatility issue. To some extent, it has been soled by stable coins but still a long way to go. Once amazon or a big platform starts accepting BTC as a payment option, it might pave the way for others. I expected Tesla do to the same but Elon had other ideas.
