2421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 12, 2023, 08:09:35 AM
They didn't underestimate Brentford, we can see it from the line-up they played against Brentford, those were their main players. The reason why they couldn't get full points in the match against Brentford was because they couldn't take advantage of the dominance they had and convert it into goals.
It is true that Arsenal did not underestimate Brentford, but I still see it as a disappointment because I thought Arsenal would win in a way the point margin with Manchester City would increased, but Arsenal fucked up.

Arsenal dominated with almost 70%, had more shots on target. That shows how Brentford keeper is good at the match. I will say Arsenal tried, but it would have been better if they won.

I have started to doubt if Arsenal will take the league because I know Arsenal for one thing in the past, they will be good very well at one point and play very worst at another, but yesterday match has not yet determine that though.
2422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin hold, sell or trade?? on: February 12, 2023, 07:48:29 AM
My opinion, Bitcoin all time saving mode is the best way. Some time when bitcoin price up then sell and when price down then buy is the best decision.  This method all time not working for trade. Many time i noticed when i sell bitcoin or altcoin sell since then price grow up and up. And when I buy bitcoin or altcoin then price low day by day. specialy, altcoin hold, sell and trade big loss. 4 years ago few coins i hold for future. now this coin price few value or most of coin value is zero. Few coin trade, there too big loss. past year in the case of 1 coin invest $1000, this coin price today zero.
You can go for bitcoin, but also you can go for altcoins. The problem is that you need to understand the market, but not only understanding the market that only matters, also understanding the coins to go for also matters. You can check the for good coins with good marketcap and go for them. If you buy today, the first think can be unrealized losses, never mind it, continue to hold and later you will be happy as long as there was a long bear market that almost seem like the crypto market will cease to exist which occur in 2022. Look for good coins to buy and later you will gain, but you will hold for long time.
2423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Funding rate problem during perpetual future trading on: February 12, 2023, 07:32:11 AM
Has your trading fund be deducted exorbitantly before, while trading? Funding rate.

Last week, I was trading a coin, MTL. The coin funding rate increased to over 1.5%. Normally most funding can be around 0.01%, which means the charge will be little if you are on the charge side.

If the funding rate is positive, those that long are going to be charged while those that short are going to be given the money charge from those that long. If the funding rate is negative, those that short are going to be charged while those that long are going to be given the money charge from those that short.

The percentage charge can be small, like 0.01% but you should always check the funding rate. It occurs every 8 hours on all the exchanges that I have used, if you have opened a position, it would be charged (or you given the funding charged from others). If you are on the charge side but you close the position opened before the funding rate time becomes zero, you will not be charged.

I just want to advice people to be careful of the funding rate high charge, it can occur to some coins during high volatility. I saw me charged with 1.5%. Assuming I have $2500 and use 4x leverage to take it to $10000. The money that would deducted for the funding rate is around $140, if you are on the charge side.

Have you experienced this before? Charged more than expected and later find out that it is funding rate that caused it?

That was not the amount I used because I do not want to disclosed the amount, but I was not happy that time because I gained but saw reduction in my trading fund.
2424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In need of good trading teaching video link for beginner on: February 12, 2023, 07:15:09 AM
Most trading sites are providing excellent videos about the basics of trading, like how to trading in the spot market, how to trade margin and future trading, including video tutorial for option trading and the likes. Also the exchanges are having trading guide which are sufficient to know how to do trade. Only what you need external articles and video for which you can all check on YouTube if it is video should be about indicators and other ways you can analyse the market.
2425  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cbet.gg SCAM 3600USDT on: February 11, 2023, 10:59:27 AM
I checked Trustpilot and go for only the 1 star reviews which are bad reviews, it started from October 27th, 2022 and most were in 2023. Probably the site has gone bad and you should not use the site again.

These are the negative reviews:

2426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is Gambling? ChatGPT Responses. on: February 11, 2023, 08:25:10 AM
The main message for me is gamble with what you can afford to lose and seek help if you think it is affecting you negatively.
ChatGPT is a very good bot that is making use of AI technology to give you a very good feedback of what you asked of it, it is helping in many areas like trading, programming and many other areas. I am not surprised that it gives accurate information about gambling as well. Gamblers should know that they should gamble responsibly and that they should only be using an amount of money that they can afford to lose.
2427  Other / Archival / Re: Historical Data on Bitcoin Bullish/Bearish Cycles on: February 11, 2023, 08:14:53 AM
Bitcoin price is very volatile, it can be considered to be a risk asset, but that depends on how you know about bitcoin price history, there are years for bulls and also there are years for bears. Like this time, if anyone says bitcoin is a risky asset, I will say it is wrong, because the price is still low, we should look forward to bitcoin getting to all-time-high now because the price can not be less than $15000 again is my guess.

The question arises, will Bitcoin be able to show x2 in the next bullish cycle, or will growth continue to slow down?
All I believe is that bitcoin can get to all-time-high. That is more than x2.
2428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: About 26000 USDT is stuck at CEX.io for more than 2 month!! on: February 10, 2023, 08:26:31 PM
Send email message to their support again and ask for the reason for the delay.

If you are legit and did nothing wrong, threaten them with law suit.

If no or no good response from the exchange, consult your lawyer.

If you did nothing wrong, they just want to steal your coins. Not your key not your coin.
2429  Economy / Gambling / Re: Own a profitable gambling site. Looking for investors on: February 10, 2023, 09:36:02 AM
I have got a simple question to you.
why in the world you come here to ask for money to strangers instead applying for a loan to your local bank (which is whatany serious business would try in the first place)?  Roll Eyes
In business, there are ways you can gather investors, but you have to give them a roadmap about the business you are setting and letting each of them know what would be the profit per percentage gain. This is common in new but promising business, but it is done by reputable and well known person which can attract investors, it is not done by a stranger like OP.

Only what strangers do is to make some attempts to let people pay and he will scam them. This is just a scam.
2430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: February 10, 2023, 09:27:56 AM
Investors who have millions of dollars in assets will of course find it difficult to calm down if they look at the current market, it is very difficult to predict, when in January the price rose by more than 40% but in February there was a decrease of around 10%, for those of us who have bitcoin with small amounts of course not too concerned with short-term price movements, it is better to focus on long-term hold.
Unrealized loss is not yet a loss until you sell your coin, if bitcoin fall in price and you still invested at a price below $25000, I still see it as a good investment. The price of bitcoin falled recently and who invested in million would have been losing like a thousand of dollars now, but they are unrealized loss and they should not worry about that. What is more important that can make people to achieve their aim is to believe that all-time-high is what would later be the event of either 2024 or 2025.
2431  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin go back to 19000 on: February 10, 2023, 12:46:35 AM
right now I see the price of bitcoin on an exchange which is 21750, and has decreased by approximately 6% and I want to ask everyone,
is it possible that bitcoin will return to the price of 19000? or after this decline bitcoin will go back up higher ,,,?
Below $19000 can occur, above $25000 can occur, but I still think DCA can help you against uncertainty.

and also I want to know what caused the bitcoin price to drop drastically?

Bitcoin is not yet in a massive bull run and hit the overbought market if you check this weekly chart:

2432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What most gamblers do. on: February 09, 2023, 08:51:01 PM
Gambler that do not plan and have good budget for important things will not have savings. Gambler that spend more than expecting to gambling with may not have savings. Addicts may not also have savings.

I know the situation in Nigeria, it is a nation with many unemployed youths. Some people can think they can gamble with low amount of money to win big amount of money, that happens to some Nigerians, they lose small all the time because they want to win big accumulated bet.
2433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs of compulsive gambling on: February 09, 2023, 02:48:19 PM
3) You try to gamble more in attempt to recover loss
When I was addicted, I tried to gamble more if I am losing, but also when I have gained a lot. There are days I would have gained so much, but continue to gamble as it is enjoyable and I will lose more at the end of the day. Be it if losing or winning, you will gamble more if you are a compulsive gambler.
2434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features in Crypto Casinos for the Elderly on: February 09, 2023, 07:13:16 AM
I would like to suggest that crypto casinos put a video tutorial explaining how to use cryptocurrencies for gambling on their website.
I do not think that is necessary, crypto casinos can just give suggestions about the platforms that gamblers can use to buy cryptocurrencies. Instant exchanges, other centralized exchanges and decentralized exchanges which are the platforms to buy cryptocurrencies have tutorials about how newbies can purchase cryptocurrencies
2435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you could use only 1 Tool/Indicator for the rest of your life? which one? on: February 08, 2023, 01:34:17 PM
At least, get a good free indicators to use. I prefer BB and RSI.

But if I should choose one, I will prefer BB.

There are two types of indicators: Primary and Secondary indicators. The primary ones are MA, EMA, BB etc while the secondary indicators are the ones that shows volume and oscillation.

At least, you will have one indicators from primary indicators and another one from secondary indicators.
2436  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a General Newbie. on: February 08, 2023, 11:52:54 AM
There is no much term to learn about, just register on one exchange like Binance, Kucoin or any other ones with trading guide and start reading their trading guides. They have video tutorials too which can make learning about spot, future and other trading types easier.

You will have to learn more about indicators from external articles

Read more on risk management, very important.

Do not use the amount of money you can not afford to lose to trade. For start, use very low amount of money that is even less than the amount of money that you can afford to lose to trade.
2437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Started testing the waters in futures trading on: February 08, 2023, 10:33:51 AM
My good friend from Poland who is now based in Cebu, has his own trading signal. So he told me to give a try for now even with small amounts only.
Learn trading yourself. If not because you have good risk management, trading signals would possibly have failed you. Trading signals are scam.

But be very careful and I can recommend you averaging, or just use low amount of money to trade because trading is very risky.
2438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many times have you intended to stop gambling on: February 08, 2023, 06:26:00 AM
When I wanted to stop to gamble, I stopped, because I lost so much and I have to stop around that time and I stopped gambling for one good year. Before I thought of stopping, I have never thought of stopping gambling before. Some gamblers might tell some people that they have stopped, but not from their mind, maybe that is what happened to your friend, not being truthful with you when it comes to gambling. You may see him losing and advising him to stop, and him telling you he has stopped, but not.
2439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: February 07, 2023, 12:13:39 PM
I am curious about how they become addicted or what are the things or basis you can admit that a person is on trading addiction, it's only when you are in huge losses and you still trading. Or you are in huge debt because of your losses on trading?
I think anyone that is losing and keep on trading and losing more and more would be the one that will do this kind of thing, anyone that is making money from trading but addicted will not want to seek for something like this, that is my guess. Just like gambling addiction, those that seek help are those that are losing money.

The only thing that I can think of that makes a trader addicted is that he keeps winning and earning huge profits, which gives you an addictive effect as you are earning big and you are still hungry for more, but it is more related to greed.
I do not think so. Someone can trade and lose, look for money again and trade and lose again and again. This happened to me when I started to trade as it happened to me when I was addicted to gambling also. Trading addiction can be similar to gambling addiction.

I just think about futures trading as having the same risk as gambling imo, I've heard the term "chasing losses" where it's possible by increasing the leverage if they also limit their trading time. Even though the article doesn't mention on what kind of trading most of the patients' addiction problems are, I'm sure they're mostly activists of that type of trade.
Just as in gambling, chasing losses in trading is the time a trader is most prone to money loss, be it future trading or spot trading, but spot trading is far less risky than future trading that you can increase your leverage which makes trading fund liquidation easy.

Gambling of any sort creates addiction and in cryptocurrency trading seems more like gambling especially Altcoin trading.
Trading bitcoin can also be very risky, at least I traded altcoins and I gained before, I traded bitcoin and also gain. I have traded bitcoin and I lost and I have traded altcoins and I lost. Trading a particular coin require different leverage. You can even reduce the leverage while trading altcoin because of higher volatility and trading fee will reduce.
2440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: February 07, 2023, 08:18:07 AM
Trading addiction is too different from gambling addiction or any of those you have mentioned and I think it was not necessary to be in rehab to cure such addiction. It was indeed becoming an addiction if we are in profit. Why do we have to submit ourselves to such a place if we know that we are addicted for good, not like in gambling we lose more?

Might this thing exist but I don't think anyone will do this.
Trading and gambling are not the same, but they are both risky. Gambling may not bring any hope of profit if you learn about it, but trading can bring that, I understand too. But some people are losing in trading just like some people are losing in gambling. This can be for such kind of people. Some people do not know the strategies that they can use to trade and they keep losing, it may be possible that this kind of people can get a solution of their addiction from the rehab center. I do not think the rehab center just added it, it would be because many people are asking if they are rendering that kind of service. It is a guess though, but that is how business is.

But as for me, if anyone is making money from trading but addicted to it, it can still cause problem for the person later, the person need to find some time for himself for recreational activities that can help his health, no need for rehab center for that, it should be for those in losses, having time to trade more and lose more.

If trading is well studied, you can make profit, but some people just use it to gamble while some people just do not have enough knowledge and experience about it.
