Over 150,000 people die everyday. What makes these car crashes any more tragic than any of the other many deaths that will have happened today in the world or in or near your peaceful little town that didn't make the news?
Losing a person close to you can be devastating. Even if you don't know them well. Even if you've never talked, and you only see them sitting on a chair when you walk past the convenience store to get on the subway to go to work.

I liked a strategic game called Red Alert (2, Yuri's Revenge). I am a fan of Age of Empire, Need For Speed Most Wanted II and PES 2011.
Command and Conquer is awesome! I still play it from time to time.

![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) bitch got told Either way the point still stands yes, i agree my point stands. I am right, you and everyone else who agrees with Vod is wrong. You have taken some facts, and formulated the opinion that i was trying to do something untrustworthy, and spun it into "he was trying to buy trust, get the pitchforks!!!". i posted you the links to occam's razor and russells teapot. You may wish to disagree, and even proclaim that you are right, but it doesn't make it true. read the link about russells teapot if you still feel like arguing. I already know enough about you to draw my own conclusions, i'm just not arrogant enough to proclaim it as fact. this whole time, i've been mocking you all. me proclaiming you a faggot is the same logical fallacy as you proclaiming me a scammer. did someone mention sarcasm? class dismissed. I have no interest in reading your wikipedia posts. Even if they have a good point anyone can edit a wikipedia entry so what it says is not credible. You also never answered the longest you have held a job for nor have you answered how old you are Search for an article from a credible author. Go to the library and pick up a book. Or interview an expert. Does being able to hold a job longer make your opinion more valid? Sure, it's pretty nice to work and get paid, but it doesn't magically make you right. Same thing goes with age. Experience does come with age, but that doesn't mean older people are always right.

I agree with you. It's a nuisance when a company has an email on their website which they don't check often. I believe the reason phone calls are picked up right away is that the phone rings and there is a sense of immediacy. There is a customer on the other side of the line right at the moment the phone rings. With email, you can answer in 1 minute, and it'll be alright. You'd get away with answering in 10 minutes. Or an hour. Maybe at the end of the day when you're feeling less lazy. Or perhaps tomorrow. It's not like the customer is going to hang up. Or at least that's what I think enters the mind of some people. Personally I try my best to answer emails ASAP. If I get an email while I'm checking my phone or inbox, I'll answer it right away. I'm only human though; I still need to sleep. And sleep tends to take up a third or a half or a day or so. Time zones are important too. But it's unreasonable to have someone wait more than a day or two. I agree.

Im keeping warm with a cup of coffee, two blankets, a hoodie, sweatpants and some socks! Even inside my house is freezing! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Definitely invest in better heating and clothing. Wool is surprisingly a lot better than cotton at retaining warmth.

Off-topic question for the off-topic section: How fast do modern tanks go? I've seen videos of old WWII tanks and they seem really slow probably because a lot of metal was used in their construction.

I am glad that I can be part of bitcointalk.org history ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I vote for any of the "I hate VOD" threads.
fuck yeah that guy is a fucking asshole troll. i thought he was cool until he fucking got me Don't get me wrong, I very much respect and admire VOD. I just think it is funny as to what lengths people go to try to "get back at" VOD for giving them negative trust and ruining their scam attempt. I strongly support having a special subforum for "I hate VOD" threads i have no respect for him. he uses the trust system to carry out his vendettas instead of confronting someone like a man. i cannot respect that at all, no matter what logic that faggot tries to use to justify it. There is nothing to confront. To ask to be confronted doing what you are doing is like asking the police to confront you prior to arresting you when you rob a store at gunpoint in front of the police. There is no question as to what you were trying to do. If you dislike him so much then create another "I hate VOD" thread so he can disprove your arguments, we have another thread to add to the list and so I can have a smile on my face ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ha, excellent faggot logic. here's your prize. i hear its halloween season so i dressed your pumpkin for the occasion. Well I am glad that you responded to my logical argument with maturity logical argument? your whole argument is "Vod's right and you're wrong. how can you even question it!" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam's_razorhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell%27s_teapotWell you are wrong. and consequently Vod is right. There were plenty of people that agreed with VOD in the thread you opened in Meta. Also, out of curiosity, how old are you? What is the longest you have held a job for? The court of public opinion isn't always right. end discussion. agree to disagree. The court of public opinion is not always right. I did not see anyone that was agreeing with your point of view. Most of the time the court of public opinion at least has two sides, but in this case it is just the one. That doesn't make any sense. No one agreed publically for fear of getting negative trust . i got plenty of pm's though. I am sure you did Oh the irony... The adjective you are looking for is sarcasm Sarcasm is a noun. Sarcastic is an adjective. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I am quite certain that I am made up of more than one particle. What kind of particles are we talking about? I suppose you could consider everyone to be a small particle in the grand scheme of things. We're tiny compared to the buildings we work in, the city we live in, the planet we inhabit. We're on a tiny ball of rock flying around the sun in a vast, vast nothingness. So yes, if you try to visualize the size of things, you may end up realizing that we're just made of dust. We're insignificant. Anything we do might matter now, or it might not. Any legacy you leave behind might impact the next generation. Maybe even several. But after a thousand years, after a million years, none of that will matter. So why do we live? As many have asked, and will continue to, what is the meaning of life? But the answer doesn't really matter, does it? I'll just keep on doing what I've been doing, and keep on living for as long as I can.

How many of you would actually have thick enough skin to completely learn a new language though.
It's not really a matter of confidence. For some people, it's difficult to pick up new languages. For others, it's relatively easy. I know a guy who knows 4 languages fluently. English, Spanish, French, and I think Italian. And that's not even a lot; there are people who speak more than that.
