2421  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: January 28, 2021, 12:43:45 PM
I don't really understand much even after repeating to read over and over again.
I guess what you are implying is about our own choices from hereon.
Are you willing to sacrifice your investment to something new or go old school which doesn't even give enough profits for your future?

Well, I am glad I made good choices already but I would not line myself with those rich guys out there.
I'd still want to rest in the shadows without being traced by thieves.  Grin
2422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's show the world we can do what a reddit group did! on: January 28, 2021, 08:01:02 AM
How about we show the world how good we are than a reddit group.  Grin
Komodo had been around for a long time and I think it had been in a good position before.
Like in the top 50 coins.
I don't really know what happened and it would be better to just remind the people but not be pushy to buy it.
Offering the good features of it is a better way if you really want a good result.
2423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 28, 2021, 07:10:21 AM
Crap. This Jazz team is really scaring me.  Grin
It's their 10th winning streak.
Clarkson had been playing on a different level since their first win and still growing.
They are now at the top team in the West. (Lakers lose vs 76ers making 14-5)

Luckily, I won my Nuggets bet just not enough to equal the loss.
2424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is down a lot on: January 27, 2021, 08:18:52 PM
But they don't own the highest percentage of Bitcoin out there.
You cannot really tell who is moving the market.
It could even be just small investors who dump their bitcoins at the same time.

I would not worry much about it. It could also be a correction for the speedy pump that had happened which is almost impossible for other investments out there.
I am still thankful it got this this far.
2425  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 27, 2021, 07:05:39 PM
I would not rely much on that "change in SEC" thing.
Rather, look for how high the demand is and I bet it is still strong if you consider that the price didn't fell that much like 2018.
Somehow it is still holding at a good number and yes that could be a good sign to purchase.
It may look expensive for all of us but there is always the "what if". It sways hard upwards that no one expects.
2426  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Biden raise the federal minimum wage from 7.25 USD per hour to 15 USD? on: January 27, 2021, 06:04:39 PM
That means passing it to Congress first.
It's not just Biden that can decide everything even if he is the president.

Congress means owners of businesses or friend of friends of business owners that will argue about it.
I doubt it will be passed that early without an economic breakdown or even if they will be bountiful for the next year.
They would rather give that stimulus check over and over rather than have a law of giving out $15 per hour which will last for a long time.
2427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 27, 2021, 02:06:45 PM
Not many games/lines to choose from today and i'm still 'hungover' from yesterday's 4/4, so i guess i will sit this one, official reason: "load management".  Grin
Same. I celebrated with 2 bottles of beer and rested well last night.  Cheesy
Now I am ready to bet again.

9 winning streak for Utah Jazz
But they are up against a well-rested Mavs. Will they continue their streak? I am against them for this game.
Mavs ML.
Nuggets -5.5 vs the Heat.
Since Luka got his big rest, might as well bet for his stats too.

Good luck to all.
2428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And yet another mistreatment on: January 27, 2021, 11:24:32 AM
It's a damn old story.
Shit happens. It happens.  Grin

I don't think they will ever change that perspective with bounty hunters.
They will always claim it will be their fault whenever a dump will happen even if they are just giving 2 percent of the total amount of tokens.
It's not that shocking anymore.
2429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for Trading on: January 27, 2021, 03:30:13 AM
It's the basics but should not be forgotten even by veterans.
There are times we tend to forget to use the same basics over and over again because we want more. (Greed)
It happens mostly to those who think they knew a lot already.
I admit I am also guilty of that.
Thanks to this forum though it reminds me to go back to basics. Be a newbie again. Protect your capital.
2430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 26, 2021, 05:11:23 PM
Time will come that he will surpass the number 1 in the list, he is still young and he still have more seasons to play.
It's pretty amazing to see him playing on the floor and to tally a high number of assist, currently he is the number 2 in assists leaders, next to Harden.

Soon as his good performance will continue, he might be all over in the stats leaders.

https://www.nba.com/stats/
I don't even doubt that.
It will happen someday.
Number one on the list is still Oscar Robertson with 181 triple-doubles.
Next is WB (Russell Westbrook) 141. But he is soon to retire.
Jokic on the other hand already had 41 and he is still young.
Doncic is still way far from those numbers but I bet he will break those while wearing his healthy smile.
2431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Eth able to break its previous ATH within few days? on: January 26, 2021, 02:49:45 PM
Correction. It's coinmarketcap and coingecko.
It can. Ethereum has no doubt to increase in such amount we don't expect.
I have ETH myself which was bought at $260. Up until now, I am not selling much because I am expecting more.
Eth 2.0 is the key to making higher value.
I am not inspired by FUDs bringing down Bitcoin just to push the market of Ethereum.
The project will work itself and someday we will see change.
2432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 26, 2021, 11:31:11 AM
Congratulations also to morvillz7z.  Wink
Congrats Reid on your win. I wonder where Y'all get the courage to take wild bets such as this. If sixers wanted to win that game, they shouldn't have allowed Pistons to take the early lead with a huge spread. Before they could comeback, the game was already long gone.
It had been my habit to bet for underdogs and I cannot erase that curse.  Grin
I lose many times but if I win, I can recover them all in just one sweep.
It works for me though, it gives me more fun to watch games live.

Anyway, thankfully I got sleepy yesterday and avoided a loss to bet for the Cavs.  Roll Eyes
Only 3 games for later?
I will just wait for other members to post their picks and I might follow.
2433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin steering towards $40k once again? on: January 26, 2021, 07:03:51 AM
IMO, the correction might be over.
31k is far from the last ATH which is 40k.
It could surge upwards again anytime soon. Yeah, that 4-8 weeks after now in my speculation could be playing around 35-40k.
I hope.  Grin
We could be at the new bottom now which is not that bad especially to those who bought at an expensive price last 2017-2018.
2434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 26, 2021, 04:09:59 AM
Nuggets won against Dallas.
Murray ejected at the 3rd quarter.
Michael Porter Jr. stepped up to give the Nuggets a win with 30 points.
Doncic on the other hand made amazing stats once again. 35pts 16asts 11rebs
I think it's his 5th triple-double of the season.
This dude and Jokic will be breaking a lot of records someday.
2435  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: January 25, 2021, 04:28:27 PM
It can. A lot.
It's different now. Social media is a basic tool to get information faster instead of newspapers.
With his high influence with large investors, he could easily manipulate the market.
Even small investors that are following him may ride the wave.
It's so powerful you cannot even understand how it is happening. It's like a domino effect.
2436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of Cryptocurrencies in Pandemic Times on: January 25, 2021, 03:35:35 PM
My experience might not be as good as yours but I am happy with all my decisions.
First, the investment plan. Instead of keeping it in banks, I put my savings in cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin.
Now I am in profit but still have no plans of selling it.
I have other coins though like Ethereum and XRP. XRP sold out and Ethereum being sold little by little if needed.
Just imagine if I kept it in banks. My $1000 will still be the same and it could have been gone now for necessities.
2437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 25, 2021, 12:13:06 PM
Can Jerami Grant redeem himself against the 76ers later or will it be another bad night?
I'm going for a wild bet here.
Detroit Pistons and over 214.5 @5.80.
And another

I am kind of drooling about betting for the Cavs ML again vs the Lakers.  Grin Maybe later.
2438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: That AI bot that can trade on my behalf without me making the trades on: January 25, 2021, 08:59:22 AM
If only it was that easy.
I'm sorry I don't rely much on bots.
There is an option that you could use with exchanges rather than using an AI.
Just don't be lazy checking it every day or whatever time you prefer. i.e. every 2 hours.
In the long run, you will get used to it, and when you master it starts to get boring.
2439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 25, 2021, 07:18:43 AM
Looking like they exhausted themselves against the Nets.  Boston seems determined to end their losing streak.  I think we may have seen all the brilliance we're going to see from the Cavaliers this year in their 2 game stretch against the new Big 3 Nets.
Yeah, that was a blowout loss to the Celtics.
Their big men kept on running against the Nets to keep up with their speed for 2 games.
I guess it won't be that bad losing against a team that's also focused on speed.
If well-rested, I bet they could give them a good fight.

Wizards though will keep on losing more games without most of their roleplayers who are still under observation for Covid-19.
They will be back on January 29.

2440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 24, 2021, 07:55:32 PM
I'll stay with BTC with a higher percentage of my portfolio.
Did you try to fact check whatever or wherever information you get it from?
There could be a huge chance this is a new kind of FUD.
Using Ethereum as means for you to sell Bitcoin while on the other hand when it goes successful, they will be the one buying Bitcoin at a lower price.
