I need help. I deleted the old wallet because it had some problems with syncing (saved wallet.dat of course). But my coins were split into 9k balance and 9k stake because of the minting to that time which I deleted my old wallet. And now after syncing the new wallet there are only 9k balance and 0 stake/0 unconfirmed. Are the remaining coins from stake lost now? I hope not  But all 18k in the transactions are shown as received  Are there any solutions how I get the lost coins back? Thanks a lot, I hope somebody can help me with this  nobody can help?  they should come back after 50 confirmation if they are really minting.. If you sent coins and they never get into blockchain for further confirmation then salvagewallet option will help you to cancel that raw transaction and you ll get your coins back..try repairwallet first if that didnt help then you can try salvagewallet option. I am not that expert here but all of my own experiences, try at your own risk and never forget to backup your original wallet file  -salvagewallet fixed the issue it seems... Coins are back... In the faircoin wallet, i am now seeing coin that were label as confirmed balance, but now there are label as "stake". What is that? and when can I use again the coins label as stake for normal transaction ?
I assume only coin in balance can be used for normal transaction. Maybe im wrong. Anyone can help with his knownledge?

Thats called POS. After 50 confirmation you ll be able to use them So after 50 confirmations my coin label as stake will be again be label as balance? Yep.. Now you are staking and those coins need to get mature in network before you can use them again, You are generating some interest on your balance according to your balance and coin age (21 days minimum) and takes 50 confirmations to get mature in network. Once matured they will return in your balance and you ll be able to use them again. |

Hi , I need your help here. The wallet is up to date. first, the coins in my wallet began to mine, but it stayed in 'unconfirmed' state with message 'Generated but not accepted'. There are several tx like this in my wallet. What does that mean?  second, I sent my coins out, but several days passed, it is still in zero confirmation and the coins never arrive. So should I keep waiting or is there way to roll back those coins into my wallet? I have a "weird" problem with the wallet. A couple of days ago it started generation POS coins, and sometime during the minting the wallet got out of sync for some reason (on latest version) so i backed up the wallet dat and deleted all the other files in the dir to get the wallet to re sync and re download the entire blockchain. That worked somewhat, just that the coins that were staking are "gone" somehow. Anyone have a clue where they went? First image is of the wallet with the old blockchain data, and you can see the coins are staking, 2nd screenshot shows the wallet with "fresh" blockchain data the coins that were staking are just nowhere to be seen (they are on the same wallet.dat file of course) (ignore the out of sync message on 2nd picture, just restarted wallet when i took the pic) 3rd picture is just for reference of wallet version 4th picture shows all transactions, the 4053 coins were bought on an exchange (i think it was nxt-e 23.03.14, way before the forking issue). The other coins are claimed from the website with tokens when faircoins were given out. I can provide copies of files with the blockchain data for analysis if desired. I'm not really whining over lost coins (allthough if i can recover them that would be great). More curious on how/why this happened. The "new" blockchain also has 3 transactions less for some reason.     Seems your coins in stake are the ones that disappeared from wallet but they may show back in balance once they got matured in network after 50 confirmation..So count the block and give it some time, block finding is slow in FAC network... If you have waited long enough then repairwallet command in console may fix the issue. |

Sorry to clog the thread with yet another client/wallet problem, but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this: I don't seem to be able to send Octocoin from my wallet. Blockchain explorer agrees I have them, when I send they get broadcast through multiple nodes, but I get zero confirms and blockchain explorer doesn't see the transaction ID. Nothing.
Any ideas?
I was just wondering if i am the only one who is having problem with a octo client but i think no, we gonna see many complaints here i guess.. If you read some of my last posts then you ll find out i had to cancel one transaction because it stuck at 0 confirmation whole 24 hour and more and i am still struggling to send those coins back to exchange, I was able to recover them from 0/Unconfirmed status to back to my wallet balance somehow but still no luck on sending them again to exchange as they simply stays in same 0/unconfirmed status when i make a new transaction and try to send them. Client may have some bugs but dev is very silent here, so i am just trying myself to fix this problem lol BTW how long its been you are waiting your transaction to go through? Was it a big amount of coins transfer of small? In my case, yesterday I find it funny when i was sending small amount of coins they submitted into the network straight away, but when i tried over 20 coins they didnt go through lol |
