I hodl 143MNE, of which i'll probably sell 33MNE for hopefully 10 to 15$ so that I get my money out with a nice profit, and 110MNE will be used for an ART genesis address with 11.000 ART Similar plan to me. I'm doing 440 MNE to buy ARTE spread across 11 addresses in case I want to sell any addresses in future. Then I'm doing one address with 220 for ARTE. My remaining 170 MNE I'm going to try and sell once the price peaks. Right I think I heard you say that before, maybe I'll divide my ART into 2 or 3 addresses as well so I can sell one or two. |

Despite the ban on ICO's I think that many of the countries major players will end up releasing their products from Singapore or Hong Kong which fall under a different jurisdiction from memory.
The project itself had a solid plan and road map, it was not one of the Scam coins and as such when the ICO does take place, I will be buying some tokens.
The worst effect of the ban is that the Chinese can't invest in them, which is a massive part of the market All one has to do is create a fake passport online and fake your citizenship. Do it from a VPN. Chinese people can pose their from Hon King. Their KYC is a joke. Is it really that easy? I don't know anything about it but it seemed quite serious |

It's too late for that, the devs should've started a bounty program in august. Now all they can do is flood facebook with targeted ads and get on one of the websites you mentioned. Either way the investors will be the ones making nice profits. I can see both platforms working side by side and growing together over the next months and years, so the lower the amount of investors, the lower the supply, the higher the price |

I have already known that it will explode, I have not cared about its price at all. It might also dump when it hits $0.1 which is ico price, some guys wait for ico price to sell it.

Think a lot of members don't trust MNE/ ARTMINE, as price is just at 3,69$. If it will be valued as 1/10 of 1 ETH, price should come next to 25$, it's x8 outstanding.. wondering why there is just a little Hype..  yes plus no adequate marketing, time period to ICO too quick, not much communication or details, and no visible company or team. and i didn't come here to fud, i invested in MNE quite some time ago at sub $2 level. I want this project and also minerium to do well. I really want their team to receive the funding needed to make build an institution off of this unique technology. Not so pleased what i'm seeing so far. I think so too. Today so many ICO's are popping up, all desperate to stick out and make a name for themselves, yet ARTEMINE is still not on most peoples radar. Basically you'll be able to control your own data, sell it, and buy data from others. As you know, entities like facebook make billions literally selling your adspace to companies. They sell your data so that you're getting highly targetted ads, like if you 'like' a picture of a soccer player, you might see ads for adidas, stuff like that. Datum cuts out facebook as the middleman. I believe a demo version will be out by Q1 of next year That's the only issue I have with the project in the current form. I don't believe it cuts out facebook or others as the middleman, because they will keep selling your data. At this point, Medium seems like an alternative that needs to make itself interesting to buying parties in order for them to come to Datum and purchase their data there. Think about it: Social media sites and email providers have very up-to-date info about you, which they can sell immediately. That will be highly targetable (in matter of seconds actually), which comes with a price tag. At Datum the user will have to keep their info/interest up-to-date themselves. I don't know how/if people will be doing that very often. I actually really love the concept, but I do believe it needs some work (or a demo to make it a bit clearer). How often do you receive ads that don't apply to you? I get them every single day. Not only this, but it's incredibly expensive (sometimes 1$ per click). Also, they're gonna be focussing on large data storage and IOT integration. Their coins will be valuad at 1/10000 of the ETH price, which will probably be around 400$, so 1 DAT= 0.04$. Compared to the SIA price, adjusted for supply differences, it's still 33% cheaper than SIA, which as we all know is bleeding to death. I believe the Datum Network could reach a 1 billion dollar cap, or about 0.3$ per coin. I get bad targeted ads every day as well, but that's most likely because I don't use any social media lol. And still, just using Google search gets me ads for weeks matching my search terms. Don't get me wrong, I really support the idea of Datum. I just think it's a way to get a piece of the 'data pie' so to speak instead of really cutting out middlemen. I hope all data purchasers come to Datum eventually so we can benefit from our own data! so we will receive money for viewing ads? or how does it work? The way I understand it is that you create a profile on yourself (essentially you give Datum your interests). Companies want to know your interests for whatever reason (creating targeted ads is just one of them). Datum will offer them your interests for a price, only if you agree, and you get paid for this. This is essentially what is already happening with your data when you give it to companies such as Facebook & Google, but they don't pay you for this. and what other interest besides advertising? that is, they will pay me even without viewing the advertisement? just for profile data? A random example: researchers needing information on health care of men between the age of 20-35 living in Europe. If you meet those criteria and gave up that information on your profile, it can be purchased and you get paid. Just to be clear: according to their white paper you decide what info you want to add to the platform, whether it's public or private, free or paid etc. The concept is pretty cool.
