To be fair, we have exchanges named after mythical creatures(Kraken, UniSwap) and literal food(Sushi, PancakeSwap). ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) But yea, I wouldn't be comfortable using an exchange with a domain that's x-grape.io. Probably any competent entrepreneur would know that using such domain(with an x and a dash) is a bad idea. Oh yeah, I almost forgot them. At least they have some representative icons but I visited Grape Global (the domain in question) and didn't find any grapes or anything of the sort :p Most probably it's the hyphen that negatively affected their SEO + lack of promotional activities.

Indeed, it isn't to be a big issue for them. However the thing it isn't the main tasks of their job, maintain and moderating ANN on bitcointalk could be count as a voluntary task (which isn't mandatory) and by such kind of thought most people would tend to not do that unless they got additional benefits from it.
I guess to get rid of those beggars is not much different with kick out all of the spammers on this forum which is almost impossible, the best way might be just to reduce it to some extent.
They are also promoting it on another forum, but over there it's just full of spammers (one-liners) and "can I have promo code plz" posts.

Not sure why would someone name an exchange after a fruit.
I did some checking and there aren't any user reviews. It's be on the market for almost a year but still, no reviews = no scam allegations or trusted opinions so I'd avoid touching it with a ten foot pole if I were you.

@Droomie, it could be trashed, as I recalled seeing it too several days back.

I didn't knew we had free spins on deposit as well. Just deposited some Satoshis today and was surprised to receive 10 free Wheel of Fortune spins. It gave me a thrill to spin all 10 spins together so I chose that option but unfortunately I just received a few hundred spins and around 5k lottery tickets and just a few RP. To be honest, I have never been lucky with those lottery tickets so considered it waste of efforts ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) So over all I just received a few hundred sats and few RP from 10 free WoF spins ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Winning RPs, Satoshis and tickets are very common on the WOF, you are not alone ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It's all about luck. Who knows, you might get those 5,000 Satoshis which are worth a few dollars in value

That’s what I do. If I’m not expecting a call from a probably unknown number, I chose to ignore all calls that are unidentified, and then proceed to search for the caller’s number to see what comes-up. More often than not, the phone call comes from a reported number belonging to a scammer or spammer, and it’s simply not worth my time engaging in a conversation.
Attending to them and engaging in a conversation even if you’ve got a clear idea of what they are trying to do can also, as per my experience, lead to the pain in the ass situation, where by a curtesy "fuckoff you so and so" on the call's receiver's behalf can lead to a long term season of calls just to piss you off.
Spot on. They might even try to sniff out one's info if he's/ she's not careful enough. OP reminded me of those scambaiters in Youtube like Kit and Jim Browning.
One of the common tactics that scammers also do is the refund scam, not sure if this happened inside crypto, where they will claim that they are from popular companies like Amazon, Microsoft or even Geek Squad and you currently bought or subscribe to some random stuffs from their company and you have the option to refund or cancel them by calling their fake toll-free number and they will claim that they "accidentally" sent your bank account with too much money and you need to give them back that extra money through gift cards or sent through package but the former is commonly used. However the bank account was just edited through HTML to make it look like they sent too much money, and yes that scam will require them to have remote access to your desktop.
So yeah the lesson there is if someone calls or voicemails you and claims that they are from Microsoft, just go and hang up the call as large companies don't do that. Mostly seniors are the common target for these due to how some are uninformed of the dangers of letting someone getting remote access to your PC.
Lol, Kitboga. That grandma and the driving simulator gets me everytime ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

That was a good lesson but still, the best course of action is to simply hang up the call if you're unsure.
Or install a caller ID app like TrueCaller which will highlight any potentially spammy/ scammy call before you swipe to answer. A lifesaver.

I was under the impression that the only fee I'd have to pay is a fee when sending BTC out of an exchange for example. I hadn't heard of anybody charging a fee for incoming BTC before.
Don't worry, this site doesn't impose any fees for deposits. Best way to benefit from this is to transfer from a custodial wallet that offers free withdrawals.

I see that there's a deposit bonus currently going on again.
Somebody can deposit as many times as they like, and get the bonus for each deposit, as long as each deposit is 30k sats or more, is that correct?
Let's say somebody was going to deposit 300k sats, it would make sense for them to split it into ten deposits and do it that way, am I right?
I'm just making sure that everything that I do on the site is legit.
Correct. You can split the deposits into multiples of 30K as long as they're not bordering the line of abuse (depends on how its interpreted by the site). FYI, previously there was no minimum.

You already wagered a nice amount of money. The rank bonus for wagering 400k $, doesn't seem to much (0.0175%), but I think the cashback will be higher than with the old system. I wasn't able to obtain yet an olympic spin, but the rewards are also lower compared to their previous contest.
Seeing the previous results, most likely each spin would reward one less than $1 worth of a token :p

You seem to be struggling with images in your post (which is surprising for a senior member), so I just want to offer a little tip. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) You do not have to define both width and height in IMG tags. In most cases, defining the width will suffice, and the forum will adjust the dimensions proportionately. For example: [img width=1050]https://i.imgur.com/w9l66Su.png[/img]
TIL. I have always been posting in both width and height since I assumed both go hand in hand (and as advised by some here). Now I can finally shave off those extra seconds!

He never knows when it will come back to bite him. There was a case of a guy in my country who plagiarised his master thesis and it came out 20 year later when he became an MP.
Whoa, story time? Dis gonna be gud. Welp and good thing he's a former one, cause I ain't gonna be part of his copy-pasta craps. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Exactly, enjoying your own success is something hard to come by as long as you put your effort in it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Now I feel old, missed those days of studying hahaha

It's been years since then I had a group called bounty hunters, luckily that's the reason why I'm here posting, reading etc..etc..that time evil IP wasn't implemented so it's so easy to create accounts. I also invited my friends to create an account to earn (main purpose) sorry just being honest.. but they were too late for free access maybe our country was automatically restricted for joining the forum because of spams.. To make it clear I had already created my alt account, but I've just abandoned it because of Evil IP payments ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Also I can't even remember it. Wait a minute, are you one of the members from those groups based in Indonesia? Recently there were discussions about bounty hunter groups and I happened to see some images of them that are looking to seek financial freedom. Don't mind yeah, I'm just curious. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

....plagiarism is an offence.....
To be honest, it does not happen only here in the forum. Not sure about other schools around the world but here in my country, they don't teach that like thoroughly. I remember back in my high school days when one of my former friends just decided to speedrun their essays by copy-pasting from random articles online and they just tend to get away with it. Oh and yeah, he got A for that. Freaking A from a work with no effort. I was naive that time that is why I can't talk about it. We always have that one friend. During assignments, he would copy some off his classmates and paraphrase the rest. Surprisingly, never got caught.

It's actually a question that make me have to tell you and others a very personal reason in my real life. So at the moment I don't think that I should tell you what the reason is, if not for privacy I have requested a change of my username by creating a thread. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Gotcha Additionaly, creating a new account would cost me a payment for IP address am I right ? So why would I do that if I already have an account that could access me free here. Also nothing would change my account is still a newbie. Creating a new one would just waste my time ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) That's only if that IP address has "evil points" so to speak. You could try creating an alt to find out but if you're using your main without such issues, the same should apply to your second.

Previously I also sent a PM to theymos to change my username (more than 1 year ago) but until now he never replied to my PM and nothing has changed. I had reason to change my username, but it was never approved until now. I don't mind if theymos don't approve it for free although I still want it to this day. If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason?

I tend to be rather dubious if I see the style of a decent post being distant from the usual type of posts made by the poster, or if the content bears complicated terms or expressions that are not common to come-across. Of course one may be looking at a certain post, and not be remotely aware of what lies in the prior posts (or post to come for that matter). Eventually, you come to terms with the idea of giving a brief scrutiny to unknown profiles, knowing that somebody will eventually likely catch the cheaters out at some point. I’ve only merited 6 (later to be) permanently banned users over the last 180 days, which is not bad considering (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topsendban). Can’t be too overzealous though … Damnnn, our OG taking the lead ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Well, that's the problem with the newbies. While ranking up is easier for them, the same applies when it comes to (un)intentionally tripping the plagiarism flag. Not to mention that they primarily try to grab some Merits, which they eventually leave should they fail.
