Good question and guess we can only find out when he starts out for United. Yeah its a huge risk when a young player is brought down for a hefty price. I hope that this doesn't happens for United as they have wasted a transfer window and invested a good amount in getting the player. Honestly I would have preferred Grealish over Sancho but guess its all done now.
The hefty transfer price can be a burden for Sancho and last season in Premier League, Timor Werner is a case like this. He used to be a good winger or striker in Bundesliga but after the transfer to Chelsea, he lost himself.

Sancho has problems with injuries in the last season that is another risk.

Yeah that also puts a lot of burden on players as well. Regarding Werner, I think he is a decent striker right now but has potential to become very great striker. Why? He has got the pace and with that he has put lot pressure against PL teams. Yeah he is still has to develop his finishing and shooting but he has got the age right now and he will adjust after some time. The pressure is what is making him take time - that's what I feel.

but a real leader who shows his metal ...

That's what makes PSG a strong side if it all goes well and Ramos is confirmed. Just imagine him alongside Marquinhoes , both real leaders and will really be a good defence line. Also there is Donnarumma so there is another beast protecting the net. This window they really are doing some very good signings, first Wijnaldum, then Donnarumma, Ramos and Hakimi... that's hell of a squad.

Sancho is a nice guy,he plays really well, has good scoring abilities, and also strong on the ball. But the question is can he do well in the English premier league?can he adapt quickly to Manchester United style of football,or he will flop in his first season like Nicolas Pepe flopped  in his first season for Arsenal FC.If he can adapt quickly to Man-u's style of football,it will really help them next season.Welcome to England boy.

since today (july 1st) some top players/stars are contractless and could change to another club without paying a transfer fee... L. Messi, G. Donnarumma, S. Ramos, J. Boateng to name but a few Shocked
Reports are coming that Ramos to PSG is very close. Some even confirm that he has agreed two year deal with PSG and medicals will soon be conducted in coming days. That will be a very cool signing to strengthen their defense line which has been a worrying issue for some time now.

PSG with Donnarumma and Ramos..uff !! What a team it is going to be.

It looks like Jadon Sancho tweeted this five years ago. He said "Football is blue!" addressing Manchester City. But he deleted it recently after Manchester Utd and Dortmund reached an agreement. I don't know whether it was really necessary for him to delete it. Because it was in the past but things have changed now.

Still you know there are lot of trolls on internet. There would always someone digging up the past and make scene of it and others just putting more fuel to it. Good thing he deleted that.

His arrival in United would really make the left
wing strong considering how unproductive that side is right now. I still wonder what will happen to Rashford after his arrival.

This match will be remembered and will be replayed in the years to come. Great fight Croatia but it should be over now. It would be out of this world if they could come back from another 2-goal deficit hehe.
Again Spain scored the 5th goal in this match. Now the score changed to 3-5 which is actually a big problem for Croatia at the moment. 15 minute to go and will Croatia repeat what it did in the second half of regular time? LOL if that's true. I still hope that Croatia will qualify, but it seem too difficult after Spain have gone crazy in extra time.

What a thrilling match. The best in this Euro Cup season so far. Croatia also played very well but just wished they capitalised more on their chances. Overall they really pushed Spain's defense well. Seems like there is nothing to be done now with the scoreline like this but really kudos to Croatia for giving fans such a thrilling match.

Incredible, Nederland is losing and they are with 1 less man.
It will be very hard for them now...

big teams got problem until now and this evening for Belgium will be the same  Cool

Make it 2 now with losing the possession in middle and good counter from Czech Republic. Well Czech were patient and continued to make counter unless they went down and things went down easy after that.

This game is all done now. Don't expect any kind of comeback after 2 goal down and with one man down.

Here we go!! Messi is likely gonna sign contract extension with Barcelona until 2023. Guess all that drama we had about Messi leaving was all due to him being unhappy with the management back then. Sorry for those who wanted to see him in different league for a change. I also deep down wanted him to switch for a change.

Maybe Netherland can win but I don't think it's easy because I still remember when Czech Republic were against England and Croatia these two teams seem to have a hard time scoring goals even though both teams are favorites, means Czech has a good defense and they rely on counterattack I guess  Czech will apply this method in the next match.

I am not sure about Czech republic's defense but honestly England and Croatia have been struggling to score this Euro Cup. Croatia might have displayed some good attack in last game but that doesn't rules out any proper striker of the ball at the tip of their attack. As for England, their striker Harry Kane has been struggling to score so there is that. It will be a good game tho.

A hurry transfer to a big club can cause a position on substitute bench that will destroy the career of Locatelli.

Totally agree with this^^. He will find more minutes in Sassuolo right now rather than in Arsenal. Even it is also not sure if he will find the position he plays best in. They already have lot of players in mid and Locatelli have to do a lot of hard work if he has to keep up his place. Meanwhile in Sassuolo at least he has some things for certain.

What it seems like to me is that they are looking for Xhaka replacement who is reported to be leaving the club this summer. However Arsenal already got Elneny and Partey in defensive midfield so I think maybe Arteta would be keep him like in a rotational option.

Belgium Vs Portugal :> My pick is Cristiano Ronaldo  Wink
I know pretty well that people who love Ronaldo will want Portugal to go through, but imo, I don't think Portugal stands a chance against this Belgium side today, I'm afraid the defending champions will be knocked out, except of course if an upset happens, Portugal haven't really been good in the tournament thus far, and I know it was in this same manner they became champions in the last Euro tournament, but I seriously doubt the same will be repeated. Belgium will win today and progress, I'm looking forward to seeing them in the final of the tournament depending though on the teams they meet en route.

Portugal also has lot of talent and right now they haven't been able to make impact like they usually do from their respective clubs say Fernandes or Jota or so. I know Belgium are heavy favourites but I think Portugal are also capable of making an upset. They have surprised sides like Germany and France by scoring first but after that they failed to keep up the advantage. Their defense is a worrying department but attack is good. It will be an interesting contest.

Denmark were really confident on the ball and they didn't gave Wales any chance to get any sort of momentum. Denmark's defense also was good today denying any efforts inside. As for Wales, they were defensively very poor with the man marking, clearances and all and they paid the price. Denamrk proved too hard to handle for Wales today. Well deserved victory for Denmark and with that we have first team to advance into quarterfinals and will play against the winner of Netherlands vs Czech Republic,

Let us look up to the coming match on this june 22th i hope the  Match will be special, because Chelsea have encountered complications trying to sign their top targets this summer despite their Champions League success, They will be something unique this time than previous matches.

If Chelsea want to maintain their prestige next season, they must have a talented striker now. Their forward lineup was not good last season. Yet they have won a few matches for Kante's outstanding performance. Without a good striker next season, they will not be able to perform as expected.

One of the thing that taking them down is there is no one to finish properly. One's doing the finishing business are midfielders like Havertz or Mount or so. They do have strikers like Werner, Abrahams but they have been out of form for quite some time and that is a worrying sign. Werner has a plus point that he has got the pace but he needs to step up his finishing if he has to keep his place in the team. If Chelsea wants a striker then they need to free space in that position in order to bring another new striker.

inter is doing strange hires, I heard that they hired Paulo Victor, 20 years old, Brazilian, then I also heard that they hired 38-year-old goalkeeper Alex Cordaz

Maybe they are trying to invest in for the future with the young player. BTW can you hook me up with the link of the transfer of Paulo Victor. Interested in watching what the lad has got to grab interest from Inter Milan. As for the signing of Alex Cordaz, it more feels like of backup signing after one of their players in goalkeeper position Daniele Padelli left to Udinese.

For Prediction, I firmly believe it will be difficult for both teams both Wales and Denmark to score goals.

I also think that the match would be a low scoring one until or unless one or both of the sides makes mistakes and concedes goal but honestly haven't seen any mistakes from both teams so far. Both are evenly matched IMO.

Daniel James pace for Christensen could be a problem on left-hand side but I expect Christensen to deal with him today.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 26, 2021, 11:50:09 AM
Italy has new favorites. Roma, Milan and now Juventus are going through a generational change. And teams like Atalanta and Napoli have a chance to become champions and enter the list of top clubs. And this chance should be used.

Well some of the players in Atalanta and Napoli are also getting old. For example there is Duvan Zapata and Luis Muriel in Atalanta and Insigne and Mertens in Napoli who have approached 30's and teams need to find some fresh solutions.  Atalanta specially have to look into as they don't have much density in striker position.
2457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: June 25, 2021, 07:47:16 PM
Well both of these players are reported to be leaving City (not sure how much truth the sources hold) but I am sure about Sterling in the list of players being provided in player+money deal to bring in Kane from Spurs and that was reported by a credible source. Still I don't think that any of these players will be in Arsenal shirt.
If the transfer deal had been before the Euro, then Tottenham could definitely squeeze the maximum amount out of Manchester City. But Kane does not score ... the moment is lost, so I doubt that M'City is ready to give more than 100 million for the Tottenham forward.

In addition, this amount will not cover Spurs' debts ... not to mention the fact that after Sergio Aguero and other top players left Manchester City, Tottenham had a chance to advance in the Premier League table (there is no point in giving Kane to competitors, even despite the wishes of Harry himself).

Well everyone comes to a phase when one does not perform but that does not means that he is not a good striker anymore. I am sure that Kane will back in form once again. As for Kane to City is gonna be a long battle. Levy will not let him go to any PL club for sure so one thing that Kane could do is to play until contract expires and don't sign any contract extensions if offered but still the current contract ties him to Spurs till 2024 and by the time contract expires he would be already 30'ish and I doubt there would be any interest on him then.

Problem is that there isn't much interest from other clubs outside PL. Real Madrid is focused in young talents, Barca is focussing on free transfer as of now, Italian clubs also don't have any interest in Kane at all. PSG however could be a potential club but I also haven't heard of any transfer links till now.

[...]the two players will cost quite a lot of money and we know Arsenal for not being the big money spending team, except that's going to change, and even if it is,

Good point, that is also another one.

City wouldn't be stupid enough to sell their key players to a premier league team, so I can't really trust the credibility of the news cause I'm pretty sure we'd definitely not be seeing any of the players in Arsenal's colors next season.

Well both of these players are reported to be leaving City (not sure how much truth the sources hold) but I am sure about Sterling in the list of players being provided in player+money deal to bring in Kane from Spurs and that was reported by a credible source. According to today's reports,Arsenal are on the verge of signing both Sterling and Mahrez from Mancity, after Arsenal owner Kreonke handed Mikel Arteta a whooping $250 million for transfers this season. And Arteta have seen the both wingers as the only signings who can transform the club into tittle contenders.Nevertheless,It is yet to be seen if the both players would prefer a move to north London this summer.

Sterling and Mahrez to Arsenal hmm.. sounds interesting but don't see it happening. Currently Aubameyang (on the left) and Saka (on the right) are still there. Unless they free them up I don't see it happening. On right wing position, they have Saka who is young and talented and Pepe there as well so no chance for Mahrez. As for Auba, haven't heard of any news regarding his departure so no Sterling as well. Arsenal might well be interested but will Sterling and Mahrez be up to this move.

There was one rumour that I like a lot which was Andre Silva from Frankfurt to Arsenal. The striker was quite on form for the German side and Arsenal do need a proper striker who can put the ball in the back of net and also for this to happen they need to sell Lacazette.

Arsenal are ambitiously targetting players but honestly IMO they need to sign players who are in the making from small clubs.

Milan is also focused on finding attacking midfielders who can fill the position vacated by Calhanoglu. Even though Milan still have D. Maldini and Diaz, if Diaz can't stay at Milan, then Milan have no alternative players. I don't know if the news I have read is true or not, if Milan still can use Diaz next season,

Yeah exactly. Lot of main players have left AC Milan. However they've filled the goalkeeper position but they very much would like to fill the attacking midfielder position right now. Diaz is on loan at Milan and Milan are working hard for another loan and Madrid also are willing to let him go but still its not a permanent solution. It would be even good if AC Milan makes Diaz as permanent move as he is already had a good last season and hence is well adjusted within the squad. Also AC Milan are surprisingly are targetting Oliver Giroud from Chelsea after Mandzukic left the club.
