If you use Tor, you does not need to use VPN service so it should be or, not and.
It's not true. Sometimes, your ISP may check what you are doing and will find your history is encrypted, which maybe a red signal. Connecting to VPN and then using TOR would possibly give you benefit there. There can be bug/issue with TOR browser. Having access through VPN will add better privacy for you. In short, TOR is okay. TOR with VPN is better. |

maybe look into local merchants/retailers that accept bitcoin in their local town. and along with the book send them invitation to make a btc address and you will send them enough for a coffee, pizza, doughnut or cake at the local store to buy.
That would be a great approach but you possibly don't know (I didn't share here) that cryptocurrency is illegal here. So, no chance. I would be more than happy to have them such a gift. Most important question is, do they have an interest in bitcoin the same as you? If yes, there is nothing wrong with whatever approach you will do and besides, they are your relatives and they understand you more than anyone if they witnessed your success using this bitcoin. But if they are not into bitcoin, I doubt if they appreciate that idea.
If they had an interest in bitcoin, they would learn it through the internet. I'm trying to create awareness or make them known with cryptocurrency. They are a lot of people who don't know what cryptocurrency is or they don't have a good impression of bitcoin. I want to make them known, I want to change their perspective. |

আপনি যেটি বলেছেন, সেটি একটি খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কথা। কিন্তু এখানে একটি পার্থক্য আছে, আপনার বিনিয়োগ করা প্রজেক্টটি ছিল সাধারণ ICO এর এবং ওই প্রজেক্টটি নিয়ে আমারও তখন আশা ছিল। কারণ ওটার তখন বাউন্ট সম্ভবত করেছিলাম, যদি আমি ভুল না হয়ে থাকি। আর আমার বিনিয়োগ করা প্রজেক্টগুলোর পার্টনারশিপ ভালো মানের এবং তারা মূলত তাদের পার্টনার এবং পরামর্শদাতাদের কথায় লিস্টিং পিছিয়েছে। তো এতে তেমন কোনো ধরনের বিপদের আশঙ্কা করতেছি নাহ। এছাড়াও প্রজেক্ট নিয়মিতই বিভিন্ন আপডেট/হালনাগাদ ও পার্টনারশিপের ঘোষণা করতেছে। তবে সবকিছুতেই বিপদ থাকবেই এবং সেগুলোকে মানিয়ে নিতে পারবো বিধায় বিনিয়োগ করেছি।  তাই সাধারণ কোনো প্রজেক্ট এমন কোনো কিছু করলে আমিও সেটিকে স্ক্যামের পথে চলতেছে, এটি ভেবেই নিতাম। জ্বি ভাই। ওইজন্যেই বললাম আপনি ভালোই জানেন আপনি কি করছেন। না জেনে অবশ্যই কিছু করছেন না। আমি সম্প্রতি কোন টোকেনসেল/আইসিও প্রজেক্টে আর বিনিয়োগ করছি না যদিও কুকয়েন লাঞ্চপ্যাডে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলাম কয়েকবার। যাদের মোটামুটি ভালো বিনিয়োগ আছে তারা কুকয়েন লাঞ্চপ্যাডে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারেন। আমার মনে হয় সেখানে অংশগ্রহণ একটানা করে যেতে থাকলে মোটামুটি ভালো লাভ পাওয়া যায়। আসসালামু আলাইকুম। আমি এই ফোরামে নতুন জয়েন করেছি তাই আমি জানিনা কিভাবে এখান থেকে ইনকাম করা যায় কেউ যদি বলতেন তাহলে ভালো হতো।

IMO starting crypto with exchange is just fine.
No, it's not fine for various reasons. First of all, as I said having access to the fund directly is an issue if you are using an exchange. Besides, you are leaking your information to the exchange which is considered very risky as we are from Bangladesh and you know cryptocurrency isn't legal here. That guy don't know how it works while OP has helped him to public his identity. |

Recently, I have taken a step to create awareness about cryptocurrency among the people I know (Friends, cousin etc.). There are few books on cryptocurrency in Bengali language. I haven’t read all as the title was stupid. I have read one by Mostafa Tanim, "Bitcoin: Blockchain and Other cryptocurrency". I have gifted two times so far, one to my cousin and another one to my friend. What I'm doing is ordering the book online directly to their address though rokomari.
This is what I think the best approach to send a message that they should learn about it. Share your opinion/experience with such activities.

He doesn't have any wallet or exchange account, so I opened an exchange account for him and set up all the settings. I teach him some basic things in the crypto industry (those will help him to secure the account). I also suggest him to put his Bitcoins in staking, which will give him some APY return in long-term investment. The staking method will help him to grow his Bitcoin. I also suggest him follow the SIP strategy, if he finds any interest in the crypto industry then SIP could be a better option for long-term investment.
You actually introduced bitcoin to him in a wrong way. You possibly know that "Not your keys, not your coins." So, you would better ask him to start with at least an Electrum wallet which give him the full control of his bitcoin. Having account with an exchange is okay but holding your coin there is a shit idea as your brother don't own the private keys of the fund (I mean address). |
