2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 11, 2020, 06:05:31 AM
International break or nations league always gives me a different feeling about football. It doesn't seem to be interesting even with the same players on the pitch. The clubs seemed more entertaining probably due to the quality of players all scout for and bought over to play together as a team but then, the international breaks really puts me on a pause or wait and watch out for the league games to resume before you can enjoy soccer again. I really wish it didn't have to be so but, that's how it feels.

You're not alone in this feeling, chief. Many nations don't have the competitive ability like others it is almost incomparable like club football where different footballers are bought to make a team, they train together daily, weekly and monthly they understand eachother more than in the international competition that comes up once in a while.
2442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform! on: November 10, 2020, 09:58:38 AM
Binance and Kucoin are the only two I use, most of the coins I trade are listed in either of the exchanges. I use Hotbit and Uniswap occasionally the best is different for each person. What I might find interesting in Binance and Kucoin another trader night find it offensive and annoying.
2443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 10, 2020, 09:23:15 AM
Gambling might be a form of entertainment to winners, a business to the owner of the casino and a wrecking avenue for the loser whichever case it maybe. Gambling is addictive and time consuming which in turn brings exciting moments to the players, it keeps the day going to make it shorter to addicts. It is more of business to me, I don't think it is an entertainment in the mainstream but the traditional gambling focuses majorly on entertainment. Whatever you derive pleasure from, you can term it "Entertainment" but most gamblers are playing for "income" so it could be defined by individual with different perspectives.
2444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Joe Biden’s Crypto Impact Is Unclear As He Wins Presidency on: November 10, 2020, 05:35:03 AM
I dont think that the fate of cryptocurrency in the united states will determined by joe biden
Biden belong to an old generation and i dont think he interested in crypto
I think we must wait until joe announces his set of ministers after that we can predict the fate of crypto
His age doesn't matter though as most people have said up there "His main priority isn't cryptocurrencies, but Covid-19". I don't know how his economic policies were during his tenure as vice president, he must be a fan of technology you can't tell. Whichever way he might likely play in Cryptocurrencies his main objective wouldn't undermine the digital dollar imo.

I do get random chats on WhatsApp from friends and families when they notice a certain increment or when the media gets to announce a certain development on Bitcoin. It is fun actually, I always give them my verdict in case they would want to invest in Bitcoin.
2446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you think 2020 couldn't get any weirder on: November 09, 2020, 12:47:24 PM
Experts in classrooms they are scared Bitcoin is actually excavating their long held titles the centralised system had bestowed them, little how he speaks with both of his mouth. It actually exposes his lack of knowledge of how Bitcoin works, whenever Bitcoin rises/falls he brings a hypothesis to stay afloat in the news. His opinion doesn't generalise the whole idea of Bitcoin.
He might've filled his bags during all time when he was critisizing bitcoin when the price was low, maybe he's selling now and telling the opposite opinion.
If he is truly an "expert" as the the OP and the link he gave reference had called him, he could have bagged some amount of Bitcoin during the time it went low. I'm not surprised about people of his kind, they are institutional critiques with personal objective deceiving the populace. Bitcoin has stood the test of time, what more can he say now?
2447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be brought into DeFi’s orbit on: November 09, 2020, 05:56:40 AM
If DeFi projects are basically built on bitcoin blockchian, will the bitcoin tokens still be regarded as altcoins? In my opinion, although they will be called bitcoin tokens and they will be bitcoin DeFI projects but such tokens will still be regarded as altcoins.
They surely be called altcoins. N.B any coin not regarded as Bitcoin itself directly is automatically an altcoin irrespective of the blockchain it is built upon. I don't think anyone would want to build Defi tokens on the Bitcoin blockchain, people are even getting tired of congested and slow rate the Ethereum network is.  Defi hypes are going down like the old IEO and ICO. So, it would be time wasting and energy wasting to consider building Defi tokens on Bitcoin blockchain what do the creators consider to aim at the long run? To alternative reposition Bitcoin?
2448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: November 08, 2020, 07:55:56 PM
It will always depend to the available resources of your country because if you cannot transfer to a certain cryto exchange without
using a bank account then it is not possible to move your physical currencies to crypto.

But in the other hand, the same to what other has replied to you it is possible as long as the crypto exchange will accept remittances
coming from the different remittances that is also available to your country. I am not so sure if there are other ways aside from remittances.

Remittances depend greatly on banks for functionalities, so it still doesn't invalidate banking sector in the Crypto sphere if we look it from the perspective of "Cryptocurrencies replacing the central banks". But I am 100% sure there are exchanges working tirelessly to fix this up, in a manner in which you can deposit physical cash directly to exchanges for trading. Perhaps opening of physical branches like banks...
2449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 08, 2020, 06:17:39 AM
West Ham won 1:0 against Fulham like I expected, but let me tell you it very was close decision and Lookman missed penalty for Fulham in last seconds in extra time.
I think he was under a tensed atmosphere with a lot of pressure that made him lose such a big opportunity to savage a point. It would have been anyone else, Fulham isn't as good as the team had been.

One thing I noticed in EPL is that Manchester United wins only when I bet against them or on draw, and I didn't expect to see that easy win today Smiley
I would love you to be betting against us then because we need to stay afloat for these points to be earned. We played fantastic yesterday we stood and fought till the very last minute. B. Fernandez was superb throughout the whole match he was unselfish else he could have scored the goal easily, he gave Cavani the goal to finish.

Tomorrow will be interesting watching Leicester vs Wolves and Manchester City vs Liverpool

My philosophy is to get acquainted with the current moment devoid of future unrealistic expectations, it saves lives, cures unhappiness, brushes off elements of less self importance. Trying by all means to get rich makes you poor forever. You can't deny the fact that we all are rich differently having money enough is just an added value. Being a whale isn't a simple task to accomplish, those who are the current whales could smash you from your profane reality when they smell your existence in their Kingdom by dumping your holdings on you in a fraction of minutes. Those who have money will continue to get rich forever. accept this philosophy and know peace. Roll Eyes

Online English teaching via Preply or the like. Can even orient the literature toward crypto. Failing that, Fiverr.com!

Do you mind sharing more light on Preply? I mean what and how I need in other to be accepted to offer a service on the platform. I know of fiverr.com already. Thank you.
2453  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: November 06, 2020, 06:43:47 AM
Lol where you said it doesn't depend on supply and demand afterall Grin what you explained there is still the same supply and demand that is causing the Bitcoin to keep increasing in price.

The price will be momentum for now, and people will have FOMO for sure since the time it took to move into $15,000 from $12000 was a short period unlike before, they are rushing it now, so we are likely to see more of the fast movement up on the chart, especially now that December is coming.

I am not sure about hitting another ATH price, but we are close to a very big thing from here. From all these, we can be sure about 2021 would be another more exciting year for this crypto space, let's wait and wait whet time unfolds on this regard.
I was a bit skeptical about his assumption of demand and supply of Bitcoin. Another ATH is feasible as the price isn't relenting anytime soon, we could see another one definitely

OH MY GOD
are you serious about the dollar?
if that is the case, the BTC is gonna rise like hell.
however it may crash again.
Don't bee too caught up in the whole predictions it's all his imagination. Yea, you can expect a significant rise in price to a level, which is expected but don't expect too much.
2454  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French teacher beheded for anti-sharia teachings on: November 06, 2020, 05:50:56 AM
First, there are no "Islamic clerics" (except in shiite minority).
Second, people saying "Islam is a religion of peace" are not muslims for the majority, and when they pretend they are, you can find they are paid or supported by non-muslims persons.
Third, I am muslim, and I can say Islam is not a religion of peace, of war, of health, of disease, of wealth, of poverty, of freedom or of slavery, etc.
This is not the problem. Islam message is "effort" (Djihad), because we are humans, there will always be wars, slavery (America is still using slaves children to make their shit, do not be blind please).
The common point between all Islam haters is the fear of effort.

"every terrorism is connected to Islam as a religion?"

Is USA a country of peace ? Can we seriously talk about this ? May be USA allows YOU to eat chips like a porc when watching TV and it is ok for you.
But it is not a peace country for South America, for Cuba, for Arabic countries, for Japan, for Vietnam, etc.

When a silly man kills a teacher you choose to call it "islamic terrorism", when Jewish people kills a french in France and throw his body in "La Seine", of course you do not call it terrorism.
Your TV does not show you this, so it does not exist for you.
I don't know much about the beliefs the of Islamic religion except for obvious reasons been portrayed in the media houses about terrorism associated with the religion, there are conflicts, wars and killings happening in my country all are carried out by either a fanatic Muslim community or an Islamic extremist group.

I am not an American, what goes on in the country can only concern me when the media house talks about it, just like what happened in the French colony wasn't having any impact on me until the media aired it.
2455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 05, 2020, 07:54:47 AM
I trade my bitcoin directly to fiat on P2P exchanges and withdraw directly to my local bank account. Aside that I use bitcoin to purchase services I can't spend fiat on online and bitcoin is accepted for such services.
2456  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: November 05, 2020, 06:35:28 AM
Joe Biden is such a quiet performer, Trump was so loud both on twitter and every time he appears for interviews one would think he has the power to re-elect himself without the people's mandate. It serves him and everyone who is loudmouthed like him to learn to control his expressions. Congratulations to Biden.

In principle, trading on this exchange is no different from other exchanges ,everything is quite clear and simple, if it helps you there is a small video tutorial on trading here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOMS_0Kc64U  Wink
How come the price for sell and buy orders don't correspond on the exchange like Coineal and other centralised exchanges?
Is it happening only to me or I don't just understand the exchange?

This is $2 per TON on buy order price.

This is $0.0001 on sell order.

Why?
2458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Free TON - Proof-of-Stake Blockchain Network on: November 04, 2020, 12:22:11 PM
Quite good news for the community, the Livecoin exchange has added Free TON for 3 trading pairs, trading is closed for the time being as well as the Deposit  Wink
https://www.livecoin.net/en/trading/TON_BTC
https://www.livecoin.net/en/trading/TON_ETH
https://www.livecoin.net/en/trading/TON_USDT
A very good move from the exchange. Quite not a bad platform for trading, the main thing is that there are volumes and demand among traders. I am sure by the new year the list of exchanges will be even larger.
Yes, seeing the rapidly developing structure of the coin, other exchanges can follow the example of Livecoin and will add Free TON to their trades themselves  ,we are watching the development of events  Wink

It seems trading hasn't officially started on the exchange for TON, I signed up on the exchange yesterday. Wanted to deposit some TONs I had to hold back a bit to understand the who UI of the exchange. Do you mind telling me how the exchange works?
2459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years after Bitcoin whitepaper was released on: November 04, 2020, 11:26:12 AM
What do you mean by "Bitcoin treated everyone equally"?Bitcoin is not a company or a person.
A minority of crypto whales, miners, early adopters and crypto trading platform creators benefited way more from Bitcoin than the average Bitcoin user. This isn't equal treatment. Grin
The transaction fees were OK a few years ago,now they suck, but I hope that the current fees will go down,as the price goes down next year.
Anyway,I really want Bitcoin to age like a fine wine and improve even further in the upcoming years.

The fees are high because the price of Bitcoin is high. If the price of Bitcoin goes down to $1000, the fees wouldn't be as high as it is currently. The miners work with higher gas fees. You can always manage priority whenever you're performing a transaction on the blockchain.
2460  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French teacher beheded for anti-sharia teachings on: November 04, 2020, 05:17:47 AM
Why do Islamic clerics always say "Islam is a religion of peace" but every terrorism is connected to Islam as a religion? Everywhere Sharia Law is been practiced it is only used against the poor Islam worshipers alone, why is the judgement selective and not practiced among all offenders of the law? It clearly means the religion doesn't live up to the slogan it's been given. IMO, whatever happens they have to be opposition whatever the teacher might have taught doesn't warrant him/her to be beheaded isn't it on the French schools curriculum?
