2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: May 02, 2021, 03:46:54 PM
Good bankroll will make you treat gambling seriously, and when you treat it seriously, you'll learn how to do the right bankroll management. Losing and winning is your everyday experience, but being disciplined and being able to impose your strategy effectively, should help you win or minimize your losses if you are not successful.
Yeah, I never though that way; I always add little money to my gambling bankroll which may be the reason why I am just gambling carelessly. I got into the practice of gambling with small bets because people always do say to risk only the affordable money which impacted me up to the level of not caring my gambling seriously. Yes, I do gamble like to find whether luck is on my side or not and definitely not in the way of maximizing the chances of my luck favoring me.

There are different dimensions in gambling; people gamble with the small money and lose it and accept it and more on whereas some people consider gambling like a serious moneymaking opportunity so they had big money to bankroll and playing with well tested strategy and making good money in the end.
2442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: May 02, 2021, 12:46:30 PM
It really is dangerous, it leads to chasing your losses, if it's your bad day accept it as it is, if it's your lucky then learn how and when to stop,
each day is very much different from the other day, take every game as it is don't try to win it's a luck based game, don't try to fool yourself that you can win by extending your roll, learn when to stop and how to stop
I'm following Martingale strategy which will be getting me profits only if I am extending my rolls; I mean even I am looking like out of control, I am still in control over my gambling and this way if I keep trying then I may get chances to recover my losses and also will get into profits. So, it is not only about when to stop but it is all about how you are approaching in calculated manner.
But, there are big differences between practical things and what we are having in paper/theory. Martingale strategy might be looking like giving you opportunities along with control but when you keep doubling your base bet, you may go running out of your bankroll that is the big problem of Martingale strategy. Now please tell me, how you will have control over your bankroll when you keep needing to double your base bet beyond your bankroll.

So, all strategies are not actually giving you control hence you must have your own control. After certain level of losses or profits, you must decide where to stop and when to resume and definitely not your strategy.
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments destroy stablecoins in the long term? on: May 02, 2021, 10:54:10 AM
I don't think this can happen with all stablecoins. Governments may ban the use of certain stablecoin because they broke the rules. At the moment governments have many control instruments and do not need to ban stablecoins.
On what kind of rules, you are referring to? Because this is not kind of exchange or casino where people register and maintain an account and may get clear themselves for all KYC procedures so that government will have positive stand against them. It is kind of open world, devs cannot be responsible for users behavior on committing any crime like money laundering or supporting terrorism/drugs. So, there is no rules are binding here for those stablecoin corporations secured.

It means in near future anything may happen. So, it is highly dangerous to make use of those centralized stablecoins. I read on this forum about decentralized stablecoin but not sure about its progress as of now.
2444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: May 01, 2021, 07:09:27 PM
Running away from responsibility will never help; either you need to quit completely or you should make yourself ready to perfect trading.
But, I believe if you run away just for small break then everything will may get fine. I mean that you should not continue your trading if you're facing losses. A break will help you to think differently and more importantly will help you to get back your focus. Losses are usually frustrating one hence instead of continuing with frustration, taking a short break must be a better option.

it is ourselves who can help us become good traders.
Yeah, you cannot expect all external helps/motivations to guide you all the times. After certain point, it should be self-driven. Losses and frustrations are common in trading but how we are accepting them, how we are handling them and how we are coming back from those losses is more important and will define our future.
2445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: simple technique of selling high and buying low. on: May 01, 2021, 12:38:28 PM
Buying Low and Sell at High...pretty easy, right? But wondering why many we're still not able to get it and earn profit with that strategy? That might probably because they are too careless and impatient person.
Yeah, most of the traders are not patience enough; they want to just enter and exit with profits. But, people who care to enter through technical analysis are able to exit with profits. Trading is all about how you are approaching it, otherwise just by clicking enter/exit randomly, everyone might have become richest.

The buy low sell expensive strategy will no longer apply if the psychology begins to become unstable and panic easily.
If you are not psychologically stable then you cannot get lower prices to enter and higher levels to exit. Because, I have seen lots of traders are missing good higher levels due to being greedy. If you are getting panic again you will miss good opportunities without entering with them.
2446  Economy / Economics / Re: "BTC not a currency per se but can be an alternative asset" China on: April 30, 2021, 03:06:35 PM
they still have something hidden that they will produce or conduct in order for the digital yuan become the central currency for the country.
America has already confirmed this like China wants to rule the entire world in next 10 to 15 years. So, we cannot simply move away from this like they are not having any hidden agenda. Only time could clear all these.

They are not really mistaken about having bitcoin as an alternative asset since most of the people nowadays functions their bitcoin in that way.
Yeah, if I remember correctly by 2014/2015 itself most European countries recognized bitcoin as digital asset. Now people are ready to have bitcoins as an asset and then it may be time for all other governments. If China's stand on bitcoin enlighten my government, at least I will have peace of mind with my bitcoin savings Wink.
2447  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 30, 2021, 01:43:18 PM
Tesla takes profit from crypto investment and some stupid people aren't even bothered, like I always say even billionaires who invest in crypto are here for the profits no matter how long they chill and hype the coins, be smart people
I don’t think there is anybody that can say that their reason for being here is not for the profit. Of course I do know that there can be other reasons , like using it as a payment method, but everyone has plans to make profit and this is no different with the billionaires that you’re talking about, they all have plans to make profit from their investment, they didn’t invest money in the market to lose it, no matter how much they try to hype.

Hyping it is even an advantage to them as a lot of people who see them hype these coins are going to pick interest and be investing in them and as the value is growing, the more money that these billionaires are going to be making, even more than those of us that are low and average investors.
2448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: April 30, 2021, 06:44:02 AM
Looking for the next Doge...
It seems in the search of what an imaginary milestone set by dogecoins, people like you may adopt shitcoins as you people are in hurry and not ready to understand why and how dogecoin raised up to the level it is trading right now. I mean you cannot expect another billionaire to support another coin to give it a "life" like how Elon Musk was doing for dogecoins.

I like to recommend people who are into intensive search of finding the next dogecoin, better get back to your usual due diligence like take time before rushing to adopt new projects and risk only what you will afford to lose and more importantly, always diversify.
2449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Elon Musk "Smart" Tweeting Continues! on: April 29, 2021, 08:32:20 PM
"The Dogefather
SNL May 8"

Really? When we were first using Dogecoin in 2013 this guy had no idea about it and now he calls himself the Dogefather just because he is rich and bought tons? It's all market manipulation folks, wake up! The only Dogefather is Jackson Palmer the guy who created the coin.

With his "smart" tweets he controls the price and newbies are falling into this trap! I don't know about you but I'm very disappointed. He's probably using Dogecoin to increase his BTC capital.
Well, the idea that he is "dogefather" comes from the fact that without him doge was a low level no good useless coin that meant nothing to anyone. After he started to tweet about it that revived dogecoin and it became as much as top 5 I believe, that does give him some power over doge for sure and I think that caused him to think he is the dogefather of it all.

I would understand, he does make a point, even though I hate the fact that some people are idiots enough to buy a coin because someone tweeted about it, that doesn't change the fact that he did actually manage that, he tweeted a coin into increasing and that is a power not many have.

I wish people actually knew who he was, coming from a family that took over a mining operation in south Africa in illegal and colonist ways and even he himself closed a whole manufacturing place because people joined a union, so he is a very bad person with a dark past, but I guess "lol doge wow so good much increase" is better.
2450  Other / Archival / Re: The difference between the Martingale system and One-Time-Bet on: April 29, 2021, 04:48:49 PM
Gamblers do really love to make the game longer thats why they do prefer on making use of different strategies and hope that they would able to make profits when they tend to use it up.

For one time bets then there are people who do make out such bet where they do put and roll it once or simply goes all in and if they lost then they would stop but depending
if they do still have money to spent or not.
Yeah, there are many different strategies, however the reality is that no matter what you do, in the end we are talking about losing in the long run. It doesn't matter how you gamble, house edge makes sure that you end up losing in the long run and that is why it is there. With the one-time all in bet at least you have a chance to win or lose and get out, if you lose at least you lose quickly and you know that you would have lost if you kept gambling as well, but if you win you can get out ahead and never come back.

However that means you only get to gamble once in your life and that just doesn't make any sense. Which is why I think it is obvious that there is a better strategy, which is either accepting the defeat before you start and focusing on the fun you could have (and meanwhile maybe you will get lucky) or not gambling at all, there is no system that can guarantee you profit.
2451  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: April 28, 2021, 07:18:31 PM
The problem for Chelsea is not the defense, but the offense. I think Real Madrid will score one goal at Stamford Bridge and then Chelsea gets into trouble. They should have had the lad 0-3 by half time yesterday. What chances they left out, oh my god...

If Chelsea scores first again in the home game it will be very difficult for Madrid. As you say it is 50 - 50.
With Real winning the first game, I do not see any chance at all for Chelsea to win, however I also do not think that there is a big chance neither team will the cup neither, but being in finals is a lot of money so I am sure that matters a lot. Real Madrid definitely has a much much bigger chance to win, they have a great offensive scorer with Benzema, and their defense is great as well, whereas Chelsea do have good defense like you guys said so not getting scored would be easier, but scoring is much harder, and they will probably fail at that too.

I think same result will happen for the next game, a 1-0 win for Real and that will be the end of it. Whoever goes up from PSG-City game will probably win the champions league as well, they are much better teams this year, better than both Real and Chelsea, obviously on a winner takes all type of game anything could happen as well.
2452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "crypto day trading strategies ...." on: April 28, 2021, 12:51:56 PM
just hold many many altcoin as u can, we on altseason mate, there is no need TA FA etc anymore, just look at to many many shitcoin who has dead on last year or even years earlier has comeback with no reason, we're really back to 2017 era, just follow the trend and  as long we not too greedy , we safe.
I agree that we do not need to focus on day trading as per the current trend of crypto markets. Not just altcoins, bitcoin is also all set to storm in coming days hence being prepared will help anyone to profit out of crypto markets significantly. Day trading is something, most crypto traders are hating always for some reasons. So, I too never consider it even if any proven strategy available.

Day trading might be profitable for the traders who are able to watch market at least for continuous 10 hours and for all others just holding will do the job.
2453  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price end of year? on: April 26, 2021, 05:46:52 PM
i believe even if bitcoin drops a bit in a month, bitcoin will still hit 100k by end of year! let me know what you guys think
This is already been expected that bitcoin will reach 100k$, and I believe that it will really reach based on the price movement if there were no issue that come in the next few months I believe that bitcoin will hit 100k$. If we are going to look at the price it is now 53k$ and we have many months to go before end of the year so i think bitcoin will rise up to 100k$.
I guess that bitcoin may not require many months to reach $100k levels from the current levels of above $50k; it is all about just doubling which may happen in matter of weeks as well.

Yeah, there are chances for $100k to happen within this May month itself if bitcoin holds above $50k levels here after. I mean bitcoin should not go for further correction from here on which is more important to gather confidence among investors again so that new investors will take bitcoin to the moon for sure in short period of time itself.
2454  Economy / Speculation / Re: i think we will see bitcoin 44k sooner on: April 26, 2021, 04:42:01 PM
There is virtually no need for the alarm since bitcoin is on the steady rise at the moment. It's currently bullish
as investors and intended invrstors are holding up positions not selling out their coin for any reason. I think its time to buy more coin so as to join the big league of cash out coming up soonest. We still maintain our Speculation of $100k soonest
Yeah, I wish this alarming to remain invalid forever; the good thing is bitcoin community got chances to understand the real potential of bitcoins for one more time and right now we are moving markets again toward a new ATH probably. I like to speculate in a way that we are not going to see below $45k any more but that doesn't mean that we are going to see below $50k but I am also expecting market to remain in sideways for the remaining days of this April month.

$100k seems within reach after today's pull back. What I am looking for is, bitcoin should stay above the 18 week moving average line so that we could be sure about continuation of the current recovery which is very important for new ATH and then $100k levels.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: April 26, 2021, 03:06:52 PM
It's just natural that a tourist destination such as Dubai will eventually loosen up its laws to keep attracting even more tourists. It will begin slowly, one hotel at a time, and when they notice the amount of tax revenue gambling can generate, it will spread by itself.
I'm not seeing any big possibilities for that to happen; because most gulf countries are already making lots of revenue through oil production and tourism hence tax revenue out of gambling may not be considerable for them in any near future.

Lottery ticket is very different from online casino though, and we really can't compare the two.
Still it is gambling as per I have seen many people are ruining themselves just because of lottery. Lottery is kind of slow poison; you may win once and then you will keep trying for another thousand times for another win.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 26, 2021, 12:48:33 PM
I can barely remember if these sites really offer such instant deposit as I have not played a long time ago on FJ and PD, but on sportsbet, AFAIR, they'll not credit your deposit once it's not confirm yet.
Yeah, most of them require at least 1 network confirmation for bitcoin payments.

If my memory is serving perfectly, I have come across a services which was offering solution for instant deposit through "promo codes". It was working like this: you need to have an account with them and you need to refill your account with any of available coins and then you can generate gambling house specific promo code for your preferred deposit amounts and by using those codes you can get instant deposits to gambling houses' account.
2457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC still wants XRP so badly on: April 26, 2021, 10:51:20 AM
I do not know why SEC keep suing xrp instead of leaving it alone. Things you said might right, they do not want to lose, especially when they are a big authority of the US government. But things are changed. Old system will soon be replaced and if SEC does not change themselves, it will be wiped out
You are right, it seems SEC needs to be reorganized as per new demands from people and start-ups. I read XRP has won the previous case and not sure why SEC keep trying to accuse for "other" reasons. Even I am not personally like XRP due to its centralized nature, SEC must prove its accusation along with solid evidences whereas keep suing with different reasons definitely will lead to lose faith on them.

I was expecting SEC to approve bitcoin ETF somehow but after seeing how they are approaching XRP, I am no more confident about getting approved for any of bitcoin based ETF in near future. Let's forget bitcoin ETF completely.
2458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 25, 2021, 09:38:18 PM
even the rumors say that bnb will beat ETH, i don't know but due to very high fee issues some eth users switch to bsc because it is cheaper.
And I also believe that the price of BNB will survive and even tend to rise in the long term.
You have probably missed seeing the fees right now. Yes, it was an issue before about Ethereum because of the high fees but this time, it's no longer the same
Check the gas fees and see that it had become cheaper this time.
That's still not cheap. I had about 20 bucks on my metamask so I wanted to check how much would it cost me to send it to my binance, I haven't done it in so long and didn't really care because it was just 20 USDT so it could stay there, who cares how much it would cost me. However when I checked it was still 6.5 dollars just to send that. I am not saying that it is still as bad as it used to be, at one point it was 45 dollars just to send it, so I would send 20 USDT and pay 45 dollars worth of ETH just do that, it was insane at some point and 6 dollars is still a lot better.

However we can't stay here and say with a straight face that 6 dollars is fine, BSC is doing it under 1 dollars, that is why picked them. Many people switched to BSC and that is why binance is having some trouble, the chain is overloaded because of all the people that came to BSC and that is one of the reasons why ETH is cheaper, because people are leaving.
2459  Economy / Economics / Re: Big test for Bitcoin during the next Economic Collapse. on: April 25, 2021, 07:40:09 PM
Many may be lowering the price to buy cheaper, I have seen in some forum threads that every time there is a higher percentage of decrease they buy cheaper bitcoin, it seems to me that it is a very good strategy and worthy of intelligent people, for now Better for many is to be out of the market and look for another entry that is good, the market always gives it, so take courage.
Thats really make sense because when I didn't take a decision for cutting lose my altcoin, I felt that If I have some fresh money this is the right time to buy them for lower price and what I think comes true, Crypto's price getting high for several hours later. We face the new days for crypto when the volatility become faster than before. In 24 hours, we can take profit 25-30% or we can get lose 25-30% in a day. We have to be smart for taking a decision, when you should buy or sell.
Interesting to see people are shocked by something I have been doing for years. I do buy when it goes up as well but I buy even more when it is going down, that helps me a lot more and this is why I have collected a decent amount of bitcoin as well.

I remember last year when it crashed that was a blissful moment for me, it was a pandemic deal and I am sorry for all the lives lost to it, and I know it was all around a horrible year so far, but I have managed to buy bitcoin for very cheap and watch it do 10x right away, that is why I like bitcoin, if you know when to buy you could make a good profit.

This is why I buy every time it falls, if it is a 10%+ fall I will buy it, if it is 20%+ fall I will buy more and it goes on like that. At the end of the day I believe bitcoin will be doing fine, so why would I get scared and sell? It will recover one way or another.
2460  Economy / Economics / Re: Janet Yellen to call for unified global corporate tax rate on: April 25, 2021, 07:01:01 PM
What Yellen is mainly concerned about is that US companies pay their fair share of tax. If some countries don't implement the minimum corporate tax, it's not a problem, the US can declare that no US company has the right to have a presence in such a country.
That's impossible, a politician that isn't lobbied by corporations so they can continue to exploit the working class. I don't think that companies are going to like the idea of moving out of a country because of the tax laws in place, getting out of that country is going to hurt them real bad.
The thing is Janet Yallen is bought by companies as much as any politician, however Biden administration has provided time and time again the fact that they are moving a bit more further left, there is nothing else to do but to charge companies a bit more tax otherwise regular folk will not even have money to keep those companies alive anymore. You think amazon could continue operations perfectly making tens of billions of dollars forever?

If things are not looking good for regular folk that means they will stop buying stuff from Amazon as well, which means profits down for them, this is just an example for one company, it is true for all the companies in the nation. Politicians from both parties are still bought by companies, but the world can't continue to operate like this for a long time, it is just not possible and that is why things are moving with higher taxes nowadays.
