2441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash worshippers writing FUD about Bitcoin won't help for you on: March 10, 2017, 11:25:09 AM
the stupid strategy of "bash bitcoin pump your altcoin" started in big scale with ethereum. you can find all the topics from those days if you go like 50 pages in this board.
it has never worked though, it may cause some newbies panic and start selling their coins or buying the shitcoin but in the end the pump is the pump and will come to an end at some point.
we just need to find the way to get in before all this crap starts and get out as soon as you saw the first topic Smiley
2442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think Blockchain.info is in a good position despite the rising fees on: March 10, 2017, 11:18:57 AM
nah, it is going to suck as a service then.
so far they have added the option to buy bitcoin through their website and i haven't been seeing good reviews so far.
and for this option, unless they offer big discounts and no addition fee then i can see it take of but that is impossible to do, because such services will require some additional fees and the merchants aren't just going to offer discounts.
2443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I exchange one BTC for one month of labor? on: March 10, 2017, 11:11:23 AM
all i can say is that i wouldn't do it!
this means i get all my month's salary in bitcoin and i am not ready for moving 100% to bitcoin as my only currency and the world is not yet ready and i have expenses in my life that i have to pay with fiat and in my country exchanging bitcoin to fiat is a bit of a hassle.
2444  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if bitcoin crash, could you put your money in another currency to be safe? on: March 08, 2017, 02:57:23 PM
if you want a quick profit then yeah why not, a lot of the altcoins are good options for a quick investment to take some quick money from their pump and dumps but not for the long term, you should always remember to get out of them fast as soon as there was a rise.

and don't worry too much about bitcoin price, it is temporary and it is not a crash. it is just a correction.
i just said this in another topic i repeat it here: we are still 17% up from last month! even with the drop.
2445  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's with the price dropping? on: March 08, 2017, 02:52:20 PM
the funny thing is that this "drop" that you are calling why about, is only a rise if you look at the previous 30 days! which means we are still in rise if you look at the last month and it is about 17% rise.

that is why i always suggest that it is a good idea to check the charts with some zoom out instead of zooming in the last couple of hours.
2446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Okcoin and Huobi extends suspension of bitcoin withdrawal until on: March 08, 2017, 02:26:49 PM

FYI:
Seems like the Chinese plan to control BTC much the same as they do the Yuan.
BTC=Better Trust China

Amen.  BTC is now a Chinese fiat.  Probably the PBoC has already the exchange wallets.  Now they need to lay their hands on the miners.

Scary days because the Chinese seem to be fighting decentralization and it wont auger well for all of us. Initially I thought it was basically to control the prices so that bad guys wouldn't see Bitcoin as a root for money laundering in order to fund their illegal activities but in another angle it seems the Chinese have an ulterior motive.

it IS about fighting money laundering not with control of price because price doesn't matter for that! but instead by controlling who puts how much in and takes how much out of these exchanges and does what there!

look up what money laundering is and you will understand what i mean.

also i have a suspicion that this will end up being a way to take taxes from bitcoin traders just the way they take taxes from Forex traders. and that is a good revenue for the government.
2447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Mrai on a little exchange, will it go to a big one? on: March 08, 2017, 02:16:36 PM
usually it is very hard to speculate about these new and small coins, they either have smaller rises or they get big so suddenly and without anybody noticing with large volume!

additionally the hard part is about the lack of chart to look at Smiley
i am not saying i am an expert but by a quick look at the chart of some coin you can actually tell a lot about it like a fortune teller
2448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one would you invest in?? on: March 08, 2017, 02:10:22 PM
Let's say you have been given 1 btc to invest in the given altcoins which one would you invest and also how much will you invest.
Monero - 0.7 btc as the price is stable and has a pretty good growth last year.
Dash - 0.05 btc  I'm just scared if people gamble or trade with it so much it may end up being a dead coin
Eth - 0.1 btc as the price of it increases once a year
Zcash 0.05 btc I feel that this is some sort of scam
And the rest I would just let it remain in my wallet.

i will hodl my 1 bitcoin so tight and never let it go out of my cold storage until a rainy day Smiley

but kidding aside right now i will go in Monero and Ethereum (possibly ethereum classic too) because these two have good short term future. but i am not willing to risk going in Dash and Zcash at this point since they are in a bubble in my opinion.
2449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was a great experiment. We learnt a lot from it. on: March 08, 2017, 02:04:11 PM
people area full of talk and only that. let's see how you can do it shall we.
we all are well aware of the shit that is going on with bitcoin, but with all that happening, bitcoin still is great and is bigger than you can think. we may be unhappy about a bunch of stuff but in the end we are using bitcoin and we can not see anything remotely close to it.
2450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price will not crash if the ETF is rejected on: March 07, 2017, 12:02:48 PM
As we can see, we don't need ETF to fail. Bitcoin will crash and burn just fine without it gettinf approved or denied.

The Chinese are hardforking bitcoin with a huge userbase and better properties. This time there may be no recovery.

haha, kwukduck is like one of those genies in cartoons that tell you to "burn one of my hair so i can appear and talk to you". and for him you have to have a dip so he can appear Smiley
now price went down and kwukduck appeared and started to say the same crap as always like a broken record. this time with another one of his old FUD about China.
2451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: March 07, 2017, 11:56:47 AM
I use right now analysis but somebody maybe know program which we can download and it can make special analysis for us and with that way we can be able to fix somthing in our gambling?

what game are you using analysis in?

if it is sports betting or for example one of those card games such as poker then no there is no program that can do that for you. you need to do some research the oldschool way and find out all the information on your own and make the analysis.

but if you are talking about some games such as dice then there really isn't any analysis in them but you can call the strategies and scripts as analysis! and for that there are bots that can do that for you. you either choose a predefined strategy or give it some script so it can run it for you.
2452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Litecoin is the only legit Altcoin ! on: March 07, 2017, 11:51:24 AM
in the end who cares Smiley
people only want more bitcoin and nothing else and for that they trade anything that moves! if it is litecoin they invest in that, if it is Ethereum they invest in that regardless of the fact that it is the swiss cheese of bugs among altcoins, and if it is Monero or Dash they invest in them no matter they are anon coins.
show me a pump that i can make more bitcoins that i can hodl in my cold storage. Cool
2453  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: March 07, 2017, 11:35:17 AM
Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?

there is no other approach really!
the only way is to invest in bitcoin is to buy it with fiat. you can call earning bitcoin another type of investment but i think it is safe to call it the same thing since you are investing your time in earning bitcoin and time is worth more than money.
and the way it affects us is that with more investors price will go higher and it becomes harder for us to buy the same amount of coin but what we have already bought also worth more.
2454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if IMF & World bank create ON WORLD Currency? on: March 07, 2017, 11:28:33 AM
people like you who say things like this have one thing in common: they don't know what bitcoin is and most probably have never used bitcoin.
bitcoin is a decentralized currency and that alone makes it different than any other so called currency that any bank or other centralized entities create. and because of it bitcoin will always remain useful as long as it is good to use and nothing is broken about it.
2455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The ETF situation is a definition of trading=gambling on: March 05, 2017, 03:23:05 PM
it is not a gamble! that is the strangest conclusion that i have see anyone make of this situation.
it is a news and it has an effect on the market and people react to it. and this has nothing to do with gambling!
you can even predict these things. when market is filled with so many idiot newbies who react with fear they buy when people talk about ETF without knowing why and will sell when people stop talking about ETF without knowing why again.
and in the meanwhile those newbies say it is random while whales and other experience traders make profit.
2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 05, 2017, 03:07:27 PM
Encountering resistance around this area as expected. Probably due for a buyable dip, then we'll see where she's heading.

I think the price will rise again after some consolidation.

price of ethereum is always going to rise until it is not. for now it has some pump left in it so there is still room to grow but in time when whales got tired of pumping it and the devs pulled all the magic tricks they can out of their pocket we start seeing the real dump start.
that is the story of all the altcoins that get big fast.
2457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confuse about altcoin on: March 05, 2017, 02:57:42 PM
you need to learn more about trading first. then start looking for list of altcoins to invest in. and for the time being stick to investing only in bitcoin and nothing else. it is the safest option to save your money in and not to worry about the price that much specially if you go long.

but learning how to trade as in studying the basics will help you get started fast.
2458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 in a million on: March 05, 2017, 02:42:47 PM
21BTC today worth about 20,000$ aprox.
Why envy him? It isn't THAT big amount to have.
For me, a BIG amount is to have 100+ BTC not 21...

Dude you are not putting things into proper perspective. Who the fuck can nowadays afford a $20,000 investment into an high risk asset like bitcoin?

The people that know about bitcoin a minority

The people that own any bitcoin are an even smaller minority

The people that own at least 1BTC are an ever smaller minority

The people that own at least 21BTC are an ever smaller minority....

etc

What I mean is, 21BTC is an investment that very, very, very few people have nowadays. Most people don't have $20,000 on their bank account, let alone on bitcoin. Look at the stats.

it is not about investing right now which would cost you more than 20K dollars. it is about investing slowly and what you can when price was low. for example if that person bought at $100 that could have been 2K dollars and have the amount of bitcoin and hodl it to make the profit today.
and having 2K worth of bitcoin today (~2BTC) can mean having 20K dollars tomorrow.
2459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Operating a BTC gambling site - Worth it? on: March 04, 2017, 01:34:28 PM
Just imagine the current price of bitcoin. Yet somehow it seems that they campaigns from gambling sites has no changes at all which is for me means that they are not so much affected of the currrent bitcoin price hike.

Why arent they so affected? Well who knows? Maybe because they can still pay the price

first of all, when you are running some ad campaign (not just signature campaign) you dedicate the funds beforehand so when price goes up your funds are still the same. and you are still paying with bitcoin.

also it is still a lot cheaper than banner advertising on anywhere with this much view. even the forum banners would cost more.

and last but not least, people are gambling with bitcoin so these sites are earning bitcoin and also paying bitcoin so it really doesn't matter much how much bitcoin price is worth.
unless price goes up really high such as $2500 or these sites stop making money i don't see any reason for them to reduce their payment.

as an example you can check out bitmixer.io signature campagin. they have been paying the same rate even when price was $200 and still paying the same rate even when price is $1300!
2460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RIP Litecoin (sub 0.0025 incoming) on: March 04, 2017, 01:26:27 PM
does not look like in 2013 and where the price of bitcoin go to the moon, litecoin prices also went to the moon, it's just different this year, the price of litecoin almost collapsed this year along with other old altcoin see the price fall was not as I expected

Litecoin will be shit coin and no one wants to buy and hold it for long time. I feel disappointed with this LTC. There were not any waves in the past 2 years . The other altcoins had got many waves in this year but LTC hadn't.

it is worth $4+ right now and that is already a nice rise compared to most of the other altcoins that had gone way down because of bitcoin price rise.

but yeah i agree that litecoin is disappointing this days because all other altcoins have had a pump but it. but this can mean a longer accumulation phase and even a bigger pump.
