Which means, it's either gonna get snapped up or we're going to get delisted from Shittrex.

There was a very long list of 'get volume up or get delisted' publish just last week ... Un was not on that list ... Bittrex is still the likely go to if there is buying spree.

Also if you are just only looking at the UNO/btc trade then you are in the dark, even on low trading $$$ days a dozen alt/uno pairs have definitive action.1  Base is it is.

1. cause those pairs simply are NOT registered on CMC Wink

Monero is based on CryptoNote; however over the last two years the Monero code base has diverged materially from the CryptoNote reference code base.

This should provide an overview of the changes that have happened and / or are planned for Monero https://getmonero.org/design-goals/

It still don't have a mobile wallet I have looked at a lot of coins they seem to be the most stable and I like how the technology works. I need one with a mobile wallet that is stable or at least look stable.

I don't know if SPV is possible for cryptonote.
If it's not, the android wallet has to rely on a 3rd party node/daemon, which for some is an issue.
I know that some have made Monero wallets that can work with 3rd party daemon. Such approach could work for Android too (but afaik nobody has done that yet).

But i do believe atm technological and therefore profit potential beats the risk dramatically, and that's why there are alot of losers criticising every single action ethereum foundation is taking, developing and the dapps themselves.
You're one of the idiots that expect ethereum to find cancer cure, develop time travelling, finding aliens etc. Because that's something major in your head.

1. We are critical because at 1 Billion you need to be pro ... so far things look very sloppy ... but the Eth council wants a $1billion sandbox?

2. Cuz ETH is Evil Corp (founded & funded) it is the Ecoin Wink

Current Terracoin Specifications

SHA-256 Algorithm
42 million coins total
Difficulty recalculated every 540 blocks
Reward halving at 1050000 blocks
20 TRC generated per block
Each block is generated every 2 minutes

Upcoming Terracoin Specifications
SHA-256 Algorithm
42 Million coins
Reward halving at 1050000 blocks
20 TRC per block
Merge mining
Dark Gravity Wave Difficult Recalculation
Each block is generated every 2 minutes

---
so I see 2 items of change:
1. moving to MM (like Name, Uno)
2. faster diff recal

not radical, just common sense improvements, more like a smart fork than a 'hard' fork.
good luck, always bumpy for at least a week or more Wink

Unless I'm missing something, the only real advantage LTC has over BTC is the trimmed blockchain size. LTC has a faster block time but I don't see that as a major competitive advantage, and it looks like the markets don't either.

Oh well. Good luck.

Uhh, guys... the LTC dev has NEVER said he wanted to compete with BTC or dominate it... ever (but rather work together). What are you guys scared of? LTC is structured EXACTLY like BTC. The only differentiation is the algo and the factor of 4 (supply, conf times, etc).

If you disagree with the existence of LTC then you are advocating for one currency to rule them all OR you want another coin with millions of features so BTC can steal them away and integrate them... ROFL

Admit that you don't care about fundamentals and only care about profits.

You know why LTC is still alive? Because it's not Bitcoin. That is a feature all in its own!

I foresee a future where we have a handful of successful coins that work together in a synergistic manner.

The arguments of OH LTC is too similar to BTC and will never be successful is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I've been around the crypto community since 2011 and can the newbies guess what people were comparing Bitcoin to in order to wrap their heads around it?Huh DIGITAL GOLD. sooooo Charlie thought HEY, maybe people want DIGITAL SILVER?

That was a design choice from day one. Does physical silver run a chance of dominating/eliminating the gold market? NO... They are a trading pair and digital silver only helps further solidify the idea of digital gold.

To attack digital silver simply tells me that you want a "ONE WORLD ORDER COIN" and I guarantee people that love (the original fundamentals of) BITCOIN will flock to LITECOIN if they see any totalitarian heavy handed approach to changes in the BTC future.

Like with what we saw coming from Vitalik. You gotta save his nest egg though and his early investor buddies from losing their asses in the DAO.. soooooooooooo I guess the whole "CODE IS LAW" thing is a bunch of BULL, but many of you shills won't support ETC because you only care about profit.

Which is fine though because the community will chose sides and the dust can settle. We might not see ETH go down though since the original members own all of it... (awkward)

Reminds me of Ripple... LEL

My name is Bryce Weiner. I'm the developer of AmKoin, PetroDollar, the lead dev on PopularCoin, and I've taken over OpenSourceCoin from r3wt's very capable hands.  I'm also the Director of Cryptoeconomy Engineering at Blocktech and I promise I'll be gentle. Smiley

r3wt was kind enough to provide me with the repo and I am in possession of the private keys for the checkpoint server.  I currently have 800Gh/s on the network. I have purchased 2% of the total coins on the network. That 2% has been moved to cold storage as an asset.

As a sort of welcoming present I've had a Mac wallet compiled (see above) and am working on getting a few other toys together.

I really like this coin.  I think it has a lot of potential.  I'm looking forward to all the fun we're going to have. Smiley

(oh... and at the time of this post it's up 600%)

The bottom feeders of crypto simply can't believe the $TAO project is real.

The network is staking and has launched without any issues.

We created $TAO because we think it's time artists had a say in how technology impacts their craft.

Bryce #3 responds to maybe both previous Bryces:

Holy shit, this has become my all-time favorite BCT thread... I have no idea if any of these are actually Bryce, who used to be coinweaver here, but I don't think it really matters - it's all inception-like and perfectly befitting chicanery.  Keep it up, "Bryces"!

TAO
Proof of Stake: 4%
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1567647.0

There's no centralization, at all.  In fact, Tao can export content to other systems and still retain even that transaction.  Imprisoning artists in a blockchain is exactly what privately funded attempts at this are intended to do.  The claim is transparency, but it trades iron chains for blockchains and slavery is still slavery.

Edit to add: that it's open source means anyone can replicate what we are doing and start their own blockchain-based record label.  What we offer is access to some of the best, brightest, and most successful engineers, publishers, composers, and producers in the last 20 years.  All of us believe in the freedom of artists and desire them to have their rights upheld throughout their lifetime and beyond.

Dawg, you be trippin. Uphold rights, but only if you get a cut? most successful engineers, shit dawg, who dis? you? you got a track record of constant failures, dat aint success. open source what? hopium? even in yo wall of bullshit you said you dont have the tech. I hear you sellin, but i aint see no product boo. Even if you bust a santa clause like miracle and make this shiz, we dont need masters, studios, producers or publishers, all we need is a slick laptop and deez nutz. wtf is a composer, you tryin to make some beethoven up in here? dats some straight up white boy music. what about the brothahs, working their asses off to get out of the hood, only to have some cracker with a stache rob them? just more of the same with some fancy buzzwords and you on top. fuck dat homie. 'takedown' 'execute', of course dawg, lets make things clear with legal mumbo jumbo. but its all g, dont hate the playa, hate the game, amirite?

Again, bong rips.

I'll explain it in small words.

We are doing this to show how it's done to develop the software to give away for free, open source, to anyone.  People who want to go through us get access to individuals that make the music the whole world enjoys.

You can do it yourself or not.  That's what open source means.  That's its value. Any blockchain project that doesn't release all of its operational code open source is exactly what you are describing... but we are the only project dedicated to publishing all of our operational code.

Those staking JBS at home will have to do.. what when this swaps to EE edition? and when, roughly?

Will it be easiest to send it to Bittrex and let them deal with it?

Hi Bitice,

You can keep staking until the swap.

Briefly there will be 2 methods for swapping. Claiming or using an exchange which will perform a claim and adjust on-exchange balances accordingly.

The off-exchange claim process will involve and consist of:

  • Generating receiving address/addresses (a fork of the MyEtherWallet web site will be provided to generate addresses)
  • An online form to enter JBS addresses mapped to a receiving JBS EE address
  • This form will be provided in both clear net URL and TOR URL form to retain anonymity
  • You will need to sign a message to prove ownership of the JBS address
  • JBS address balances will be snapshot at a defined block. This prevents double claims
  • JBS EE balances will be programmed into the Genesis Block of the JBS EE chain. Be a part of history!
  • You will be able to perform a claim at a later date as well after the network has been launched. The intention is not to screw people over with a claim process with a short time window
  • At some point we intend to send any unclaimed funds to a multisig address which will require multiple party approval to process any later claims

There will be further details in the upcoming PRE-ANN thread.

We intend to make this claim process as transparent as possible and it can therefore be audited on the blockchain

To maintain a healthy staking network we recommend people participate in the off-exchange claim process for the bulk of their holdings

You may want to consolidate some of your holdings to a smaller number of JBS addresses leading up to the swap

The Bitcoin rally hit a stumbling block on Sunday as prices crashed close to $40 in one hour. Meanwhile, Litecoin was rejected at the $4 mark for the third time.

Bitcoin is up by less than 0.5% of $3 compared to last Tuesday. Initially, the momentum move higher took us to $628.25 on Sunday but shortly thereafter prices plunged to a low of $590 on most exchanges.

2460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] price per kilo <<guess-o-matic>> on: September 17, 2016, 05:31:44 PM
I'm thinking of doing some kind of study between Uno and BTC. An interesting question would be how depended Uno is relative to the overall standard. Obviously, ALL altcoins are related in some way, shape or form to BTC now, but over time this relationship doesn't have to remain fixed. It would be nice to do some analysis using a correlation coefficient (possible Pearson's but not sure if this is adequate) to determine if these two are still in lock-step with each other or if over time they are becoming out of phase (tending closer towards 0). A direct OR inverse relationship would mean highly correlated over time.

Ideally, those invested or just curious in Uno would like to see a divergence from BTC. Why? Because it would make Uno have it's own market identity which over the long haul I think is feasible.

uh .. i saw 'correlation coefficient' and my mind detonated .. you might have to spoon feed that idea to me again .. UN has (or at least it's my hope) become less dependent on the BTC price.

"Uno have it's own market identity"
agree 1000%

I favor consensus pricing in LTC .. nice simple numbers and precise pricing .. like 0.36 LTC per kg UN .. currently 0.002xxxxx BTC is vague to gauge.

Doge is nice pricing too .. currently 5500 doges .. so have a stack of the doge handy.

A bit obscure but niffy is FTC ... currently holding value of $0.01 ... so pricing 1kg UN is dead simply ... 125 ftc ... ie .. $1.25

There are 5-6 hands holding tonnage on rex, topia shows the distro as well.

3btc hits 300,000sato, and strong supporting bids lurk about at 150,000sato.
