If it has been sold, maybe the new owners can 1) add some fucking support. 2) up the fucking withdrawal fee's been waiting hours and hours. 3) stop being cheap as shit!!! -_-

Yes, it was sold in 2013.

Was this the one I heard sell for over 100K BTC?

It was more than that. The official news was http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-company-acquisitions-begin-gambling-site-satoshidice-sells-for-11-5m-126315-btc/
It was one of the first acquisition of a major BTC powered dice gaming website.

And yes, the new owner should have made many new features for the user like Support. It was one of the top gambling websites.  Smiley

That's quite amazing. Not only was it a retarded amount but the people who bought and sold it are serious players too.
How does it rank today compared to the other gambling spots. Is it still number one.

It still ranks well when it comes to playing. But it hasn't grown according to the user preferences or suggestions. You will understand that when your payments get delayed and you try to contact them.  Sad
2442  Other / Archival / Re: StarCoin | 1# μBitcoin Casino with High Quality Games 🌟 NO DEPOSIT BONUS 🌟 on: December 08, 2016, 07:24:56 AM
The design issues are still there and not working properly on some devices. I don't think the owner is interested in making a good casino site, rather than just need money from users. Please do the needful and people will automatically try your website even if your deposit bonus is low.
2443  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: December 07, 2016, 04:46:10 PM
The main advantage of BTC is that it's not physical. So the idea of a BTC bank would be very stupid. If you want to get some interest on your savings then better to invest it somewhere safe rather than having a bank.  Smiley
2444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: December 07, 2016, 02:29:53 PM
The answer to the topic of the thread would be a Hell No. There won't be any perfect time to buy/sell. You need to know what you can afford/loose. I have bought BTC most of the times at the right time and right time means the time where you made the best profit in trading.  Smiley

Its a real shame that more hasn't been invested in adding features to the site - the site could have been huge by now

Well, there may be many reasons for not upgrading
1. The purchase may have drained a lot of money from the buyer and may be in debt.
2. The new management may just want to get the BTC rather than focusing on the user preferences and suggestions.

But who knows, it was a great website and still is but for some reason lacks many needful things..  Sad

2447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: do you accept bitcoins in your business on: December 07, 2016, 05:49:53 AM
I and some friends have a business here locally where we sell old stuff from one seller to a buyer. We accept BTC mainly coz all of us use Bitcoins in our online life for trading or gambling and exchange price is high. So we accept bitcoins from the buyer but pay the seller in local money or bank transfer. By doing this we make some profit too and we get BTC without any hassle.  Wink

P.S You can do it too if you don't wanna exchange. Grin Cheesy

@dogdice..
First of all, great feature to add to a website. I have tried this and it's not easy to implement.. but what if the hacker has access to our e-mail too..? He can easily crack it o you have some more security in further steps like mobile otp authentication..?

2453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: December 02, 2016, 05:02:17 PM
There are many people who lost their money on trading, because trading is unpredictable job, in my opinion i need:
Method ( i must have system trading)
Money ( i must have management of money and risk)
Mind ( i must can control my emotion)
Tell me your opinions?

I would say

1. Understand the method you use.
2. Know the value of your money. (How much you can spend and what you don't want to loose.)
3. A cool mind.  Smiley

Thats all you need.  Wink
2454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gradma knows about bitcoin. on: December 02, 2016, 04:52:49 PM
Pretty funny to watch, but I'm guessing she probably knew Bitcoin from one of her grandkids or something like that.
Or I could be mistaken and she might just be pretty tech-savvy herself. Anyway, it's always cool to see older people who are keeping up with technology.

A funny video first of all. And it is common here to know about Bitcoin in my community. We pay and use Bitcoins in many places like regular currency. But yes in some countries even normal people haven't yet heard of it.
2455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: December 02, 2016, 09:18:46 AM
After reading this I tried to explain what is BTC to my little nephew who knows what is money and it didn't take much time for him to understand the basic of the BTC concept. I don't he understood perfectly but lastly he said: "It's an invisible money which we can spend on robots."  Roll Eyes Grin Grin
2456  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 02, 2016, 08:49:52 AM

I think that investing in cryptocurrencies is considered to be a high risk investment as gold is tends to be much more stable then cryptocurrncies.
If you invest in bitcoin keep in your mind that you can lose everything in a flash light.

I guess Gold is not a safe investment in some countries.

Though it will be a good investment if you pay full taxes, it may take much more years to gain profit..
2457  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mobile Faucet Game - Looking for an investor on: December 02, 2016, 08:37:42 AM
I'm looking for $500.
$300 for the wallet.
$100 for the development.
And $100 for the promotion of the game.

I can send you the details if you are interested. Let me know.

The idea looks different and feels good for the future. I guess you need more for the promotion.
Also want to know where you want the currency.
Will definitely think about it and let you know.  Smiley
2458  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mobile Faucet Game - Looking for an investor on: December 01, 2016, 05:19:27 PM
It is in a different language. Is there a same post which is translated in English? This will be more inviting to many investors if it is in that language. Just my opinion. I am looking forward for the application if ever it will start. I want to try it.

He will translate it and send it to you in PM.

@talatk
PM me too, please
Good idea if it's not like any ptc like idea...
2459  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where Can I invest in Bitcoin Casino? on: December 01, 2016, 04:59:59 PM
I have seen this option on some sites but I won't recommend it, mainly because it's highly risky. You never know what will happen in that website or casino. it's better to invest in other things in small amounts.  Smiley
2460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: December 01, 2016, 04:26:08 PM
I have gone through a situation like this some time ago and I just sold all my BTC for my local currency. The rate went down crazily after that so made nice money from that..  Smiley
I guess you need to understand the market and decide on that coz sometimes holding up would be a nice option.
