2441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 06, 2022, 06:28:05 PM

Cryptos have been counting the ups and downs in a balanced way lately. A coin that increased by 15% today, 2 days later we see that it has decreased by 25%. To what do you attribute this fluctuation?
When will cryptos enter Taurus month? Does anyone have any enlightening information on this subject?

When can ETH catch up with BTC?
ETH can’t catch up with BTC, that’s a lot of numbers needed for ETH to reach that much and I don’t think it will happen even in the future, there will always be a huge price difference with these two. We are still on a huge corrections right now, we might not be able to see bull trend this year but let’s hope for the market to recover slowly.

Ethereum will be always at the back of bitcoin and on the 2nd spot, it's just that it's too impossible for eth to catch up with bitcoin, I mean look at the gap of market value, and if ever eth can catch up then it'll likely the market cap.
As the market continues to be bearish, it's wise to invest on some coins initially (buying small amounts) because we can't know for sure if there's more dips like these days in the few weeks to come. Well, 2022 have just began so there's no need to panic and let's just hope that this month have a lot more positive news than the negative ones.

It was a bad lost for the Warriors again as they are now now tied to the first spot in the Western conference, same as the Bucks as well, I thought that two top teams can win and cover the spread and made a parlay and was surprised to see that they've lost or at least behind the scores in the 3rd quarter when I wake up. Anyhow, I think the Warriors are going to bounce back against NOP so -3.5 for the Warriors.

Yeah, didn't expect that either but I have no doubt that the Warriors will bounce back again as they're always been that after a loss. Next up is versus the Pelicans, and a -3.5 isn't bad and they will definitely cover the spread or more as we know that the Pelicans isn't that hard team to defeat. So, maybe GSW can maintain their spot as the lead in the East as well as the Suns.

Chill back and relax guys. Let's accept the fact that we will not see any games this week. What we need to hope for is for the number of cases to drop down on which likely won't happen until January 15. This is crazy and every household does have a sick person.

It all happened after New Year. Can't believe it happened at most places at the same time.

Unfortunately for venue staff and employees, they don't have work again as event places are closed.
We can chill but for the entire economy and those people that are really affected by this, another higher alert level is what makes me think. We can wait for the PBA to get back but for those who are badly affected, it's been two years for them and they're just about to recover and here it comes again. But you're right, this is the season of getting sick, cold weather and this is usually every after the new year. I as well got sick.

Even if we know that this is a season that almost every household have a flu, but still we shouldn't take this lightly because we might drag other people if ever it could be the new variant, we just really don't know that's why a precaution is a must.
As we rest, might as well relax while waiting for the government and IATFs news regarding this bubble if they would extend it or not, I hope these things won't last long and cool down as people are really affected and so that we can watch again our favorite PBA teams playing in court and take some bets.

Remember Kobe, dude had one big injury and then he couldn't recover and got injured again and that was basically it for him.

They have different gameplay. Kobe is more of attacking the rim while Klay Thompson is just focusing on 3 points. The chances of getting injured might be less. If Klay will now return, I'm thinking he will have an average of 30 minutes per game in the first month. He is already in rehabilitation for a long and can now play smoothly once got back in action. They didn't rush Klay even he is cleared to play already when the current season started.

That prediction might be true that Klay Thompson will have an average playing time just like he used to do, but I wonder if Steve Kerr will go just like that because we know that Klay is an important to their team just like Curry and they can't afford to make the situation worse, sure thing Klay was cleared from rehab and physically fit to play again but can he really keep up just like that again after he tore his ACL. I bet there will be some adjustments to Klay as for Steve Kerr's instruction. We have so many questions if how would Klay perform just like Irving, it'll be clear to us soon.
2445  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: January 06, 2022, 01:37:20 PM
I mean, an argument can be made for both sides, but at the end of the day, it all boils down to what goals a certain investor has. There is a lot to be made with short-time trading (not a long hodl), I mean, the brokers in the 80's made enormous sums just by doing that. SO there is no right or wrong here, just personal preferences and your overall investment goals.

We can't just compare the brokers from 80s and the brokers now, because in 1980s many people are still aren't knowledgeable enough about the real world and only the Wall Street guys are the one's who are manipulating the market and stocks to their own benefit that time compared now that the world has been changed a lot and lots of people are already brokers even just sitting in the house working on the phone or computers knew about it more.
Digital assets or currencies isn't just for holding alone and it wasn't created for that reason alone, and as @TheNineClub said, there's no right or wrong, it's just a matter of personal preferences on which field you're suitable to make profits just like trading or broker guys.
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BULL RIDE OF 2021 on: January 06, 2022, 07:03:09 AM
Don;t miss-out. it is good to stay informed. if you miss the NFT and Defi of last year. don't miss this year's ride. we saw what Defi and NFT tokens did last year. some tokens did over 500 to 1000% within several periods LAST year, I strongly have a feeling that NFT GAMES will move the market again just like Defi last year.  currently, AXIS is leading the chase. be on the lookout and Remember.DO YOUR RESEARCH

I've seen a lot of NFT game projects that are slowly rising and currently still developing, it looks like NFT games will be the next trend in the future. This NFT game is not just a game but we can also get some tokens from it to be used as digital artwork assets.

There are some but there are also many who are just joining the hype, NFT is good but most of the projects will probably not gonna survive in the tight competition. 2021 was also great timing for the new projects as the market is bullish, when it's bullish investors are coming to invest their money and they see the hype on NFTs.
2447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 06, 2022, 06:28:53 AM
I'm also liking the Raptors spread but the odds are shifting so fast that it's now down from 8.5 to 3.5 so i've switched my pick to the Wizards -6.5, expecting a double digit win from the Wizards since the Rockets have been losing by 10 or more. Even though the Wizards have only won 2 of their last 5 they're still performing well at home as those two wins came from home games and one of the losses was just by one point.
Good move on the Raps, bad move on the Wizards. I can't believe they keep losing and they cannot beat the Rockets. They are now in a bad spot, from a good start to a struggling team now, I'm not sure if they'll ever have a chance to get up in ranking again or get into the playoffs. For now, I guess I'm done with trusting the Wizards, they are so unpredictable and most of the time when I bet on the Wizards they lose outright or win but failed to cover the spread.
2448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 06, 2022, 04:53:20 AM
The Brooklyn Nets were trailing in the 4th quarter but the intense team works lead them to outscore the Pacers and finally beat them. Kyrie Irving is finally and managed to score 22 points in his return. that is a huge contribution and finally the Brooklyn Nets have done with their 3rd losing streak. It would be another exciting next game for the Nets since their big three are playing healthy without any injury.

Nice game for Irving, it says that he remains fit despite not playing with the team for a while. I hope he will stay and will not be absent in any game as long as he is healthy as with him, it's a boost for the Nets and they needed that to stay at the number 1 spot again.

What you guys think about ethereum clone PulseChain?
Still no record yet here - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pulsechain/... is this already traded?

All I can say is that anything that is clone will not succeed, especially if it's a clone of a successful coin like Ethereum.
I will give you an example, bitcoin has forks, look where BCH and BSV are now.
2450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: January 05, 2022, 03:37:25 PM
However, no one can control the bitcoin market and even create a precise prediction for its price. Although everyone has the right to predict, but not everyone is able to make right predictions  as we are just into wild speculations and educated guesses.

Ideally no one should control the bitcoin price but in reality, the whales are still in control and they can move the market up and down. The biggest whales these days are the exchanges. The exchanges can easily manipulate the prices because they have a lot of funds and also they can easily liquidate people and getting more rich. The futures market is all about bitcoin price manipulation.

if the exchanges are manipulating their own exchange then that is against the law, they should be reported to the regulators. Actually, I don't believe that because exchanges like Binance which is one of the biggest if not the biggest are already making a lot of money from trading fees due to a huge trading volume they have, so they don't need to do such thing that would put their business into compromise.
2451  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC: is it really bearish? on: January 05, 2022, 02:03:25 PM
You missed the fact that not everything can be seen on the graph.

There are many more factors that could affect the price movement that you cannot see on the graph alone. People are saying that bitcoin is now bearish because they are based on the previous trend where after a bull run a bear market will dominate and it looks like we are in the same scenario now.

What you believe now is always up to you, besides, it doesn't guarantee anything so we just have to follow what we think would happen based on our personal analysis, not on the so-called "experts" in the space.
2452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 05, 2022, 01:40:25 PM
Grizzlies are just on a great winning streak now. They had an away game against Cleveland last night and got another win by 110-106 this time. And this was their 6th win in a row. Ja Morant wasn't too impressive when it comes to his field goal made percentage. But he still was one of the top scorers of the game with 26 points. He is so young and takes big responsibilities for his team. It is a big joy to watch him playing.

That was a really well-deserved win from the Grizzlies against Cavs. As you said, Ja Morant had an average field goal percentage but still, he scored 26 points which is quite a lot. If he can work on his accuracy, then he can be deadlier for them.

I love the fact that the Grizzlies are playing like a team, their chemistry is spot on every time, every game, every build-up play. Although the Cavs also played quite well but it was not enough for them to get the win. Garland scored 27 points and gave 10 assists and was quite well supported by his teammates but maybe the Grizzlies were just better.

They are playing with good chemistry and Ja Morant really stands up as the leader at a young age. The accuracy of Morant has already improved, he is also more mature now as he is not afraid of taking shots when he is needed, that's the quality of a real superstar and he confirms one.
2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 04, 2022, 11:44:26 PM
Still makes sense.

But these words are overwhelming the crowd and they know what they're saying. Before it was Casimero and both of them are really interested in fighting Inoue and so Inoue does.

However, it has changed due to the policies that the WBO has given to Casimero and it probably had affected Inoue's reasoning but you're right, the possibility is still there.
Being on same division then just as said that it would be inevitable for these two to meet up and as said the promoters or organizers do sees the potential that they could pull off if this fight would happen.

This isnt talking about pride or whatsoever but talking mainly in revenue or profits that would be generate with this fight. As a boxing fan then this fight isnt something that you could resist on.

But cant really be denied that as days pass by which things becomes even more boring and interest is gradually depleting down.
They would need to assess if there's a demand for their match and if there is, maybe their promoter would decide that they should have a match.

But AFAIK, there's still a possibility that the boxer could decline such offer if he finds it not comfortable to him unless it's another order that they can't decline just like for this match of Casimero and Butler.
You do talk about mandatory matches on which boxers couldnt really able to resist nor decline but on the time comes where Casimero and Inoue would need to clash on then i dont see

the reason on both boxers or the promoters would really make out some delays or for it not to happen. They do know that money or revenue is on here which
they couldnt just slip it away or losing that chance since we know that there's a high demand for this fight.

I hope the Casimero vs Inoue would become a mandatory fight, but since they are both champions, I can't expect it will happen unless they'll be pressured by the fans and the promoters are willing to risk their best fighter. I hope one day it will happen, not just pure talk but actions as well.

I have the Phoenix Suns -6.5 vs New Orleans Pelicans, The Suns are missing a lot of players including Ayton, Crowder and McGee but Chris Paul and Devon Booker are available, and If they could beat the Hornets convincingly I believe they do so Pelicans.

GL Everyone!

Tailing this, I love this kind of spread, as normally when it's high it will hit, especially when the team is the road favorite. As long as CP3 and Booker are going to play, that would be enough for this team to win, and they are a heavy favorite for a reason, GL to us buddy.

I also think that the season will somehow or anyhow end but the PBA needs to at least ensure that no players get affected by this Omicron Variant.
They cannot afford to end this season now, they work hard to slowly bring back this season to its normal state and suddenly everything was ruined by a single omicron carrier which resulted in strict health protocol implementation. I'm sure the PBA already sees this possibility and they have plans already in situations like now.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 04, 2022, 04:06:04 PM
The dark horse, it's good to remember those old stars who always their competing with top caliber teams.

Nets are not exempt in losing the game, even you have KD and Harden if they have a bad performances while the other side are playing
solid, shit will happen..

Each teams have their solid performance it's just the Grizzlies who have that from the leadership of Morant. Better Luck
next time.

It seems that this is a fight between the old star vs the new star and luckily the new stars wins.
New star of Grizzlies proved to this game that they can beat The old star nets even though nets doing great and they scored 104 but what I said that morant and bane will surpass all of them the teamwork of the team is there and morant I think this day is his lucky day cause outside shoot is good and his inside is better then he scored 36 which is good contribution to his team.

I have a say that they won with a margin of 14 points which is quite dominant in my eyes. KD and Harden had an average match.
But Nets also shouldn't rely that much on these two as both of them are aging and they alone can only do so much.

On the other hand, it a great show from Morant. He had an incredible night scoring 36 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds, The Nets played quite well in the 4th quarter, but the Grizzlies were accumulatively better than them and they deserved that win. Hope that the Nets will be able to turn around in the next game.

Nets will have days of rest before their next game, however, their next game is not an easy task as they will play against the defending champion. I'm afraid that if they will not make the right adjustment, their losing streak will continue as Bucks is a great team.
2457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 03, 2022, 10:29:08 PM
I have really missed NBA since Early last year ,I have not been following up with Lakers which is my favourite team. I am back this time not to miss any match.
There's still plenty of games to watch for and I will tell you that your favorite team is struggling this season, they need some support from the fans to continue believing that they can still make it to the playoffs and compete.

They are expected to be in the top 3 in the West, but on the current ranking, they are only at the top 7.
https://www.espn.com/nba/standings

Anyway, good luck and keep believing.

There's a little hope for the Lakers now, Lebron and Westbrook are not getting any younger and their team is a mess. Of course the hype is still there because they have their own big 3, but performance-wise, it's really disappointing so far.
2458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: January 03, 2022, 10:20:21 PM
There is are so many kind of scam, and most of this scam is something like in favor of the victim because scammers will try to make their victim feel excited before they will get all you're asset through promising some lies and this is all obvious you can detect the scammers once they will ask your private keys or they offer a huge return, and after they will get you're private keys they will block you and leave you with nothing left so be careful.
Scammers do ride with the hype, that's why when the market is bullish we are seeing lots of money coming and that's where the scammers will try to play again, they are using the popularity of crypto for their bad intentions, so we have to be careful all the time, do due diligence before investing to ensure that we can minimize the risk.
2459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To the Moon: Shitcoins are Ponzi Schemes on: January 03, 2022, 09:56:21 PM
They are all scams but that doesn't mean you will lose your money automatically. Some investors loves to take the risk and play with it,  but we have to understand that it's very risky, without proper knowledge, we might lose a lot of money investing in shitcoins.

On  Ponzi Schemes, usually, the ones who make money are those who invested early, but we should not support this kind of fraud as even if we make some money from it but the majority of people will lose and we only become an accomplice of the crime though no legal binding, but through conscience though.

Just launched sportsbook! https://duelbits.com/sportsbook check it out, give us your thoughts!
Congratulations and happy new year, duelbits. Very neat and simple. I'm sure that due to the popularity of duelbits, the market for sportsbetting will also become popular and you'll be part of those that are known in the area.
Do you have some plans of adding e-sports on the books?

What I like about the launch of the sportsbook is that they also launched some nice promotions including the risk free bets we got. Just because of the promotions people are motivated to check it out and to place some bets (the odds on soccer are also really good).

That's nice to know, one of the most reputable casinos in the crypto space is opening a sportsbook to be a one-stop shop for gamblers. I like the development and I would never hesitate to try using the site as I know they are here to compete and give the gamblers the best experience.

How about the KYC thing guys? do they require gamblers?
