2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 22, 2021, 02:37:38 PM
11 games later.
Big win for whoever has the courage to bet for underdogs.
7.80 for Thunders vs Clippers.
5.20 for Cavs vs Nets. Can Sexton repeat that monster game he did against the Nets?
I'll take the Cavs ML but not the Thunder for my wild bet.
Nuggets ML vs Suns.
Goodluck.
2442  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 22, 2021, 11:41:30 AM
Strongly agree.  Wink
1. I have no bank account that really exists. It's more like an ATM only when I do my withdrawals but I don't keep money in it for a long period of time. So, I can say I am still unbanked.
2. I send money to relatives with the use of Bitcoin or a third party application instead of the bank to bank.
That's because of number 1.

For me, it is still a waste of time keeping money in the bank. We are just giving them the opportunity to make more money instead of us who should be making more while they are investing it.
I'm not sure about number 3 though.
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Work algorithm is here to stay, do not be deceived on: January 22, 2021, 08:45:44 AM
Or just make Proof of Work: energy efficient, very easy to use on mobile devices,  devices for PoW should be multi-purpose and portable.

Certain Proof of Stake based Consensus mechanism esp those that require high minimum amount of stake/coins from participants to participate in full consensus violate alot of the basic ideals of well decentralized cryptocurrency
You will end up breaking your smartphones and will spend more buying another.
The strength won't be enough to run it. First will be your batteries then it might damage some of the equipment inside.
because GPUs will be going to their primary consumers - gamers, workers and  researcher instead of miners who just create worthless shitcoins.
Been thinking about that. Will this also affect the market of GPUs?
Will they be cheaper than the expensive price right now since there will be lesser demand?
2444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 22, 2021, 05:43:41 AM
After the (questionable) ejection of Draymond Green in the 2nd quarter, GSW cannot find their rhythm anymore.
Add the bad night at 3 point line 9/38 which led to losing the game.

Wiseman is still young and he is being crushed below the rim by the big men of Knicks.
Without Draymond, there is no one to help him.
Next is Jazz and I hope they are feeling good to battle a strong defensive team.
2445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long before Greyscale start dumping? on: January 21, 2021, 07:29:27 PM
Should it be "How much will they be buying when the price is this low again?"

With a positive reaction from investors, they will try to hoard as much as they could get.
Dumping is not an option if money keeps on coming.
They will just spin it without the need to create panic. Also, there might be an agreement before they can pull out.
2446  Economy / Speculation / Re: My opinion about btc price and crypto on: January 21, 2021, 06:01:55 PM
Does that mean USD will have a lower value too?
That is how I expect high numbers to happen.
When fiat is getting weaker.

It didn't even cross $50k yet and we are now speculating for greater heights.
I think the target right now should not be far above $100k. It may also marinade in $30k before the next pump. Who knows?
2447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 21, 2021, 03:00:04 PM
My parlay of 4.3x got ruined because of the Nets  Sad . It was only 1.2x on them . Should have expected it. Generally it never works out at the start, when you get a big 3 assembled. Look at Kobe, Nash, Howard as an example.
You are not alone.  Grin
I bet there's a lot who added Nets -10.5 to their parlay and just lose everything.
But, those who made a parlay with player stats only might have a big win right now.
All player stats reached the roof with 2 OT's.

Generally meaning it happen in most of the teams that has a big 3?

I'm sorry but I don't seem see it with the Warriors (big 3), Cavaliers (big 3), Heat (big 3), and Celtics (big 3).
These teams are so consistent, they don's struggle, so the word generally does not really apply to these, maybe some teams, like the Nets.
I agree. Way different especially GSW.
They are a pure team and looking at stats back then, the heart of the team was really Draymond which is not an offensive player.
Kerr focused mostly on defense to avoid Curry being attacked a lot of time. Their championships proved it was a success.
2448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the price of Doge Coin this coming week on: January 21, 2021, 01:08:54 PM
It will be difficult to achieve an accurate prediction for this.
Maybe it is a good time to buy also.
Bitcoin is in correction at $32k now and if that price increases in the next couple of weeks then Doge could be pulled too.
That's my own speculation though.
If I have more capital I would gladly buy more instead of selling. But, I am broke now.  Grin
2449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: January 21, 2021, 10:12:49 AM
I'll choose Ethereum if you want my opinion.
It might look like it's already at its limit but it may also not.
Since Bitcoin is expensive you can choose the number 2 and may still get a good amount that could increase in the long run.

Anyway, it will always be your decision in the end. I hope you find a good one.
If it's DeFi you are eyeing for then look for the top one.
2450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 21, 2021, 08:01:52 AM
Unbelievable, they are -10.5 and they lose by 12 points.. How good the moneyline for the Cavaliers, who did bet on the ML?
No bet is really safe, even the weakest team in the NBA against the stronger, you cannot tell they'll win easily.
I usually go for wild bets but I didn't for this one. I didn't have the courage to do so.
It was -10.5 for Nets to get a regular almost x2 win.
I forgot the number of how much the odds were. 8+ maybe?

Sexton and Osman did a great job in their offensive battle against the trio.
Triple double for Harden and 2 more assists for KD to achieve it but yet Cavs still win.  Grin
2451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 20, 2021, 07:34:32 PM
It's like a pet number.
Usually, old school players do this kind of method.
I did before. It just bored me when I was not winning for years.  Grin
Also, it became like a habitual thing which is not good in my case.
I mean, why do I have to go thru the line every day just to lose every day too.
Calculated how much I bet and I was shocked at how much it is. Maybe if I just saved it instead.
2452  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid lessons learned know when to finish on: January 20, 2021, 06:25:37 PM
There's one more big lesson it gave us.
Stop the YOLO.  Cheesy
Lots of people lose their jobs and have nothing to buy for necessities, rent, or bills.
One more thing is to equip yourself with the best investment strategy and not just keeping it with banks that won't even profit anything.
I think some are still lucky they stayed with an investment like Bitcoin and Ethereum even with panic lurking because of the pandemic.
2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 20, 2021, 03:31:04 PM
Just a heads up... Yahoo mobile is offering live games for free right now as part of their holiday preview special. Enjoy the free games while it lasts. This includes tomorrow’s Nets game that may be the first time you see the new big 3 in action.
Thank you for the heads up Og.
Let see if their 2 streak will be cut if Irving will came back or he can add up a huge win to their team since they blend perfectly ass a teammate.
It was said yesterday to be a "maybe" for Kyrie to play Thursday but I guess that means a higher chance.
-10.5 for Nets to have a better bet. I am taking that.
Let's not talk about the miss game-winner of LBJ since it shouldn't reach that point if they were able to maintain that large lead. The Lakers clearly choked on that game. But that win doesn't change the fact that Warriors will be a contender. It's only Curry that is consistent on the Warriors roster. Others are stepping up on a specific game but will have a different performance the other day.
It's GSW that stepped up which led to a run.
If you look at the stats of Kelly Oubre Jr. there are 2 steals and 2 blocks while some of what he did defensively cannot be seen in stats.
That was the turning point and they are also absorbed in Curry running around leaving Wiggins open for 3 consecutive 3-point shots.

2454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Practices for sending to exchange on: January 20, 2021, 01:06:06 PM
How I do it.
Local exchange - wallet - exchange and vice versa when I want to cash out.
Same thing I do with gambling sites just to prevent bad things to happen or traces.
Local exchange - wallet - gambling site deposit address. Vice versa again for withdrawal.
But it will cost you additional fees.

2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 20, 2021, 10:21:26 AM
Crazy game! They just  couldn't  stop getting the basket in the 4th Quarter  Sad

@Reid! Congratulations bud!
Thanks, man.
I always trusted my favorite Nuggets.  Grin
I missed one with my wild bet for Jokic getting 2 3-pt shots FG.
Well, that's expected.
I should have taken @Ried's handicap option for Jazz -5.5
It's still a win so it's good.
Jazz now on 6 winning streaks. Damn! Clarkson is really improving with a high contribution.
2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is dying on: January 20, 2021, 08:16:56 AM
It may not be dead for some supporters and investors who are still willing to wait.
For me, I had enough.
I sold my XRP in exchange for a better choice with Ethereum.
Now, it is making more rather than just waiting for XRP to come back to life while being bombarded by delisting and complaints.
Well, we do have our own choices.
2457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best way to sell in 2021 — to buy more on the bear on: January 19, 2021, 11:10:21 PM
I'd be thinking deeply about what decision you will make.
There is a large chance it won't go that way again. I am not sure though. No one is.
If you are really trying to sell your coins, there a huge amount of exchange available to do so.
Just think about it for some time. Investors might also be holding right now because of the positive speculations that had been lurking everywhere.
2458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 19, 2021, 06:55:38 PM
Rough night for me yesterday. Hopefully, I would get back to winning ways soon.
I hope you do. We all had our great nights here.  Wink

Jazz had 5 consecutive wins already and including in the lists are strong teams like Denver and Bucks.
I'll take Jazz -5.5 against Pelicans.
Then, Nuggets -9.5 against Thunder.
Jokic 3pt field goal at 2+ for my crazy bet.  Cheesy
Good luck guys.
2459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CC163 - Can Ethereum Make You a Millionaire in 2021? on: January 19, 2021, 05:30:26 PM
I think I had enough of Ethereum already.
Yeah, I trust the developers will do great ever since it went to a whooping $1k+.
Although a big dump happened they did rise again by making adjustments.

I bought it for $260 and I am already with the amount stored in my wallet.
I guess I will just wait for the maximized value of it and I might sell. I am literally joyful with my profits now.
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 19, 2021, 01:59:02 PM
Something I'm worried about, is the Nets becoming the Lakers of the 2012-2013 season, with Nash, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace, they were a good team, but unfortunately they only made 45/37 .549 w
Nah, its a bad comparison.
The Nets big three are superstars with skills that cannot be compared with what the Lakers had back then.

Although I still like the roster before Harden, it's management decision but there might be a chance this might become a wrong choice in the long run.
They took away 2 of their great roleplayers for one superstar.
Worse, it's a center and an offensive kid.
If they will face teams that are focused on big men then it will be difficult to make a defensive play.
Assistant Coach Mike D'Antoni might be the happiest person right now. He always wished for that kind of team and it came true.
