doing shorting is good mate on this current situation but it needs more efforts and time to prevent losses because its became so volatile and very unpredictable.. i agree there no crash that happen in year 2020 wherein it became the key instead to convince more ppl to invest in the crypto market because of the pandemic reason bitcoin really achieved those all time high values and some of the projects really made a good improvement during the year.. And now year 2021 is the year that really makes the market fell like a rock.. Some says this just the beginning and market will improve more after this like what happened year 2017.  I hope its true..

On this situation i think btc will be not a good idea to pair in trading because its not safe due to the volatility, what i mean if you can make profits through alts and then sell it to BTC and suddenly bitcoin fluctuate surely your profits will disappear without knowing..  So pair it for now to usdt since it's the most safe place to keep your profits and to avoid some fluctuation. Indeed market still not good at this time.. So be smart to assure all your efforts is worth it while trading..

i believe as long as bitcoin still have a strong support no one can take over its value and it will always fly to the highest level even though sometime whale preferred to manipulate the price when it become so expensive. And for me ethereum will stay 2nd in the market although the volume is higher than bitcoin at this moment in the market, still no chance to take over when bitcoin start again to bump the price because it always rocketed even within weeks it possible.. That's how good bitcoin after the hard fall reason more ppl rely in it because it always make good profits even just a short period..

you must try binance and latoken because i have some experience on that both exchange and they're legit especially binance but when it comes latoken there are some problem sometimes but so far its smooth when it come trading even through your phone only wherein had more indicators you can use as well unlike mobile app of binance.. However if your using desktop then i suggest to choose binance because its more accurate especially when it comes the volume and etc..
