a free pos without premine, right?
like it Smiley

and how he can distribute it?

obviously it has premine, 100% to be correct
24422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Official X11 Thread (updated daily) on: May 04, 2014, 09:04:18 PM
x11 really worth mining?

calculated all x11 coins btc/mh/day and they are not so profitable even they consume half electricity

you know that 1 mh/s in scrypt is 3 mh/s in x11, so 0.004 for only 1 mh/s x11 is pretty good lol

but perhaps you mean 1 mh/s in scrypt, so 3 mh/s with x11
24423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long before BTC overtaken by another cryptocurrency? on: May 04, 2014, 09:00:53 PM
you really need a radical change to overtake it, and no i don't mean just some features like anonymity or other thing like that, but an entirely new "system", like btc was completely new when began

you know maybe not based on crypto world at all...but it must still offer something useful over bitcoin
24424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you mine these days? on: May 04, 2014, 08:54:26 PM
only for instamine, otherwise i shut it down

Selling 6 MNR, 0.2 BTC, PM me (I have plenty of trust so not going first)

so 1 is 0.033  Shocked, that's pretty high for a new coin

Takes ages to confirm and very limited quantity, and no exchanges Wink

16 MNR! 0.35 BTC, get em now Wink

lol no i'm not that stupid to pay so much for this

based on cap this should be around 5ks as a starting price, but if we consider the current alt situation, the price is probably much less
24426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Poll - 2014/05 on: May 04, 2014, 06:52:50 PM
Dogecoin is listed twice and Bitcoin is not an alt

yeah bitcoin should be listed three times instead

24428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the nodes the wallet is connecting? on: May 04, 2014, 03:38:41 PM
What about these other coins like litecoin. When I am running litecoin-qt am I also a "node"? What are nodes you have to put to your config files? Some other wallets?
If your wallet is downloading whole blockchain then yes you are.

Ok, and the nodes which you have to put in your config files? What are those?

they are used to make you syncing faster

Ok, are those also some kind of wallets, or some other servers?

they are like you, other pc connected to create a decentralized network, p2p
24429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE ANN] Mjollnircoin - MNR - Ultra-secure, Fast Transactions & ASIC resistant on: May 04, 2014, 03:36:34 PM
It looks like 290 is suitable for mining this. I got 28m/s. But for 280x...only 21m/s. Does some have a better tweaked setting for 280x?

seems a little faster compared to scrypt, but nothing to drastic

28mh/s is 33% more than 21mh/s, 290 in scrypt can do 950 which is about 30% more compared to a 280x

You have to delete the old blockchain from yesterday

How to do that

delete the coin folder name inside the roaming, but don't delete the wallet.dat if you have some coin in it

difficulty 32  Grin
fun's over

how much you mined?
for the moment 13k (but I have still several immature)

100+ blocks not bad at all

where to download gpu miner ?

you can use the one of heavycoin they have the same algo
no you can't (well yes you can... but you won't get any accepted shares/blocks)

any miner can be use. I can even use scrypt. Just that it will be 100% reject.

how so, this is the same algo, it should work...

you don't get it, you can't compare it to scrypt  because this is the same heavycoin algo, it's like saying that if you use the same miner on two different scrypt coins, one will not receive work, it sound pretty dumb to me
hm, I thought it was allowed to compare non-working algo together Grin
The best non working algo you could use would be groestl I guess, because of the low power consumption...

lol i mean he can't say "i can even use scrypt but..." because obv scrypt is a different algo, it shouldn't work, but heavycoin miner use the same algo of this coin

No, you dont get it. U tell me to use heavycoin miner is as good as telling me to use scrpyt miner (both miner will give same result of 100% reject) because heavycoin miner is NOT the same miner as Mjollnircoin . Mjollnircoin  does not have voting system. Heavycoin miner need vote parameter to work. U get it now ? If u get it , say thank you.

but you can't compare to scrypt, because it's obvious that scrypt don't work...

anyway i had forgotten about the voting system

i still don't understand why the heavycoin miner, won't work on this, if they share the same algo

Dev says this one: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mjollnircoin/files/mjollnircoin-cpuminer/cpuminer-win32.zip/download

sry i don't DL random exe from newbie
