Yes true you said because it is painful to see you have lost a trade order slightly while price start going your initial direction but you won't understand the advantage and benefit of stoploss as it pulled you out and you still have your balance .

If you keep trading without stoploss, you will have an experience that you won't like. Trading with stoploss is the professional way to trade.

This is a little help I can offer to you beginners here based on my trading experience. The market is never your friend, it can burn you really hard

These factors to be listed below, I group them into the fold of selfish trading.

Avoid trading with lots size that your account can't withstand a longtime wave against your position: Apply money management in your trade strategy. Measure at least one percent or lesser risk per trade, don't be greedy

Avoid martingale pattern of trading without stop loss: Don't wish to take up all the profit in one day. If you wish that, you will be in tempt to use martingale and you are opening your account to risk of closure.

Always activate your stop loss: Very important. The good part of stop loss is that you can have more opportunity to make the profit back because you have just lost only little percentage of your account and you can get in back.

Stop loss is more important than take profit: Meaning that you need to use stoploss. You have the opportunity to keep growing your profit if the market is in your favour. You can adjust your stoploss into your entry price and hit your profit harder.... Good feeling, smiles 

Don't over trade: There are good and bad days but whichever you meet, be moderate in how many times you are in the market or how long you stay there. Very risky if you don't apply stoploss.

Don't stay in the market beyond necessary: Yes again it is important. Trade with caution.

I think one is better of now when you hodl  etheruem. That rejection you sighted could make a panic sell begin to build up and gradually shielding out of btc can follow which will lead to a slow movement in the price of bitcoin but volatility will be transfered to etheruem and other good altcoins and that can start the altcoin bull. This was how it happened also in 2017 bitcoin bull. The bull for altcoin was started by etheruem in the past three year and currently, etheruem has touched the 1000 price, more bull can show up any time now especially as the 2.0 is more in the news.

I am seeing nothing wrong with pump and dump because is part of the cryptocurrency and that is how money is made. Market can't be steady in a price without shift and you talk about profit. When you make profit, some has made lose and market keep on moving.
I can be against pump and dump if it is a worthless coin made for only the purpose to scam investors. Such coin just only pump and dump for life to the disadvantage of hodlers as it may not come up again in the market or get removed from exchange.

I expect Op to put a shorter time like in minutes. I wonder who would like to wait a day for an order to be taken for example. You can only wish that if perhaps you made a mistake in your transaction then you can be glad if it has taken long to load and you can easily cancel  . I like a lesser minutes if not instant anyway 

This should be in expectation when too much unregulated money is running in the country. We have heard of too many stimulus package and that means pushing out money into the country, inflation will take over. I hope that the stimulus package is not real because that will increase the challenge of Joe Biden. Trump could have allowed Biden take such decision because few weeks more for another administration to start .

It is really not sure that bitcoin will drop back to $20,000. Although that after 2017, bitcoin later started to drop but at that time there are fewer adopters or big traders like institutional buyers. Currently with what price increase we are seeing, we know that big buyers are buying and selling while price touching at $28,000.  However, below 20,000 is a good spot for buy.

These advise you dropping here are good once to be a better trader. Not being greedy can help a trader in building and accumulating profit over time. This is important in trading for consistent profit. The trader who wants to rush for profit will miss it for losses.

That apart from demo, remember demo trading and trading live are not exactly the same. If a trader has made profit in demo , they can lose it in trading live and the same for the other side. I will suggest here that you can start small in live trading and also grow your account and as time progress you can build confidence in trading live.

Yeah most times people who invested at luckily at right time feel this way, they have increased ego especially if they are are proud people and this maybe what op has encountered. He could have seen increased profit that is not imagined with this short time and he is full of joy. Hodling is fine now because even if the price want to fall, it won't have a total collapse as some won't go to the market because they are hodling it back from buyers. Therefore , there may come little time for correction but it may not go dropping far down.

I think that I can classify myself as a day trader.  By definition, a day trader is that trader whose major aim is mainly to get profit daily even if it goes over to next trading day. Then the reason is that trading daily is able to help you make your losses back in trading even if you make lose at another trading order. You trade with stop lose and can make a regain of the stop loss hit.

Demo trading has got nothing to relate with investing what you can risk because they are different principle. Demo trading is a way to learn or practice your pattern of trading and profit or loses are not real and investing what you can risk is the risk you can take. So your rule #10 sub heading isn't accurate to me. But you should add your source to your information.

I don't expect that $24k is not likely to fall because no price is strong enough not to fall. If we study the last bull in 2017, it came up to that high but it crashed within months. That means we can not rely on any price not to fall.
