I am really curious what the Developers gonna do whith the fraudsters stakes.

Seens to have a lot of them!!!

The Thread of the public audit list so many fraudsters...

Can these stakes be used to buy computers ( rasp pi and others) to help sucure the network?

Really good work has been done!!!

Fraudsters and Multiaccounters will not much affect how stakes are being distributed. UP want's around 3k people so if after the auditing there are much fewer than 3k then there may be a second round of registration (there's actually a waiting list already in place for that). There will be no "left over" stakes. The number of actuall stakeholders merely affects the size of each individual stake. Also there are stakes being reserved for dev stakes, giveaways and what not. I'm not sure if the details regardingt hat have already been released but they have been discussed on the trello board.

When I first heard about NEM I bought some domains.

I believe in NEM and if anybody has some ideas for my domains I would love to help develop them!

nemexchange.com
nemwallets.com
nemcoinwallet.com
nemcoinexchange.com

NEM=Egalitarianism
you are such smart dog!!

I'm not sure how valueable those domains will be as afaik the plan is to have 1 domain and create subdomains for that. For example there's http://forum.nemcoin.com/.
There would then also be exchange.nemcoin.com, wallet.nemcoin.com etc.

But who knows Wink
2463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] Public auditing of stakeholder list on: March 09, 2014, 01:11:19 PM
I think a lot of effort is being wasted by some of the 'fraudster chasers'. Firstly, that word 'fraudster' is being brandished around far too much.

Also, I dont know about the BTC accounts but do people here seriously think there are enough 'single only' NXT accounts to fill up all these stakes.

As soon as a Group appears they are instantly called FRAUDSTERS. But a big community doesnt grow just from 'singles'. Of course groups of people spring up too.In some cases it is obvious that NXT accounts have been used to introduce other people because it is far simpler and quicker to do it this way.You can not prove that small groups are all fraudsters and do you wish to expel some potentially good contributors?.

What we are trying to find here are users that created many accounts to claim an unfair amount of stakes so I'll agree that fraudster is not the ideal term.
During registration people were encouraged to get other people into this as well and that's still cool. However there are cases where it's crystal clear that that's not what's behind the multiple buy-ins and those are the cases we're trying to find and refund. Also those "newcomsers" are supposed to be active as well. If someone bough 10 stakes and says they're all for his family and freinds then that's worthless for the movement if none of them are going to be active.

Like I said - don't waste time worrying until the refund list is done.
2464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] Public auditing of stakeholder list on: March 09, 2014, 12:11:57 PM
my enthusiasm is limited.
Who knows yet how many members are on it for no reason?

This thread is not an official list. The only remotely offical list is the one linked to in the inital post and even that is not final.
Once the list is completed this will be communicated and then everyone on that list will be able to make their case. Until that time there is no need to argue or trying to justify anything.

It's also worth mentioning that no rules are being changed or applied retroactively.

Hi, my name was listed as a possible duplicate hash fraudster on the NEM list. My Transaction ID: 17cd5e776fa7d95c83c00dfbcc8c5446e4c7ffd4e00fd07ea59df622dfdbf369

I posted on page 16 of the main registration thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=440185.300
I received instructions to post complaints here if there was any problems so here I am. I also messaged utopianfuture about 4 days ago (but didn't get a response) and earlier today about ways to prove that the transaction ID listed is mine. Sorry if I seem redundant, but I just want to fix this problem asap. Thank you for your time.

You'll need to send nother small transaction from the same address to prove it's yours.

Which address do I send it to? Is there another address you guys have that I can send it to?

same address that was used for registration.

Hi there, I just sent a small transaction like you suggested and I sent the transaction ID along with the amount to you through private message.

This is what you originaly posted: 17cd5e776fa7d95c83c00dfbcc8c5446e4c7ffd4e00fd07ea59df622dfdbf369

Hi,

I'm missing in the List. I registered for Stake at January 28, 2014, 11:25:17.

Quote
On front page you say 160 and here it's 250, so what now?
Sorry, found it.
I just sent 185 NXT (25 were for Donation), but whats the NXT Transaction hash? I just know how to sign a Token, should I do that?

Too stupid me! Cheesy

185 NXT ID: 10073378770809430695
100 NXT ID: 10398856728354654807
So in sum 285. Change is Donation for Dev

Why am I missing? How can I prove? Was there a Fraud with my TXID?

I additionally created an Account for my wife some Days later, called 4nniK4, which is also missing. I'll post the next Minutes from that Account to prove.

You are both there. CTRL + F and the Tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet - embrace it !

Thats what I did. I couldn't find us at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlidWok7hW0DdHVfeU1BRFVoZkJ6QTRvcjc2cTQzQ2c#gid=1

Or is this the fraudsters listing?

That's the right list and you are both there. You must be doing something wrong.

Any updates on development?

First page, last line of first post.

Plus the trello board which is the no1 source for updates.

I think that NEM team should notice a coin called COIN2.it is very hot now and It like NEM

I don't see many similarities between NEM and COIN2.

From http://www.coin2-project.org

Quote
What is Coin2 (C2) ?

 – a ‘forward thinking’ fork of Litecoin which also uses scrypt as a proof of work scheme and is intended for bartering of goods and services. Initial price of Coin2 will be determined in the free market(i.e. Exchanges). This coin was fully minted within hours of mining the genesis block. 97.5% of the coin is being distributed (given away) to the first 1000 people with a wallet. This will encourage usage of crypto currency among people without the means to mine or technical “know how” and encourage development of crypto currency in the marketplace beyond mining.

Specifications:

-Fully Minted within hours of creating the Genesis Block

-97.5% of the coin was  given away to the first 1000 people with a wallet.

-Each of the 1000 initial people received 48,750 coins.

-50,000,000 total coins.

-Subsidy(reward) will change to 0 coin after the first 50,000,000 coins. The network will stay alive to process transactions and 0.01C2 transaction fees will be the reward for miners on the network.

-The remaining 2.5% of Coin2 will be used for marketing and future projects (i.e. QR code debit card and merchant services). These coins will be sold

-Exchanges are encouraged to adopt this coin as quickly as possible.

Hi, my name has vanished from the stakeholders list. My name was labeled duplicate hash with saintfire so i sent a PM on this to utopianfutre stating this and as proof i sent 1 NXT to his personal NXT account 3041433146235555849 with the transaction id 5368171945578804729.
Could some one look in to this for me please.
Thanks

Please provide a link to your original post in the registration thread. I can't look the original hash up in the spreadsheet because googledoc messes up nxt hashes.

hi here is the link with my payment https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=440185.900
550 NXT Transaction id: 2630402633550461799
also if you need the 1NXT proof that i sent to utopianfuture before when proving the duplicate hash let me know.
Thanks guys

I added you to the list.

wow so eager to sell stakes. Wtf ?!
If this is what we can look forward to when NEM hit's an exchange then good night.

I fail to see how that's a bad thing?

People want to sell their NEM stakes = NEM already has a value. If there is a lot of selling on an exchange then it means the distribution will increase even more.

Hoarding coins for as long as possible isn't intrinsically good, and selling coins as fast as possible isn't intrinsically bad. It's just market movement. Besides, isn't PoI being developed for NEM specifically to encourage spending/selling NEM?

POI is supposed to give incentive to use NEM regularly. Dumping a fuckload once will prob not be considered important to the network.
I didn't actually state that it was bad (won't say it's good either) just that I was suprised to see it already.

You're naive if you think that all the stakeholders here are going to work on NEM to create a better world.

Ofcourse there will be people selling their stake at the beginning. It's not that bad you know. They will distribute the coins so you don't have to do it.  Wink

Yeah I wasn't really naiv in that regard. I was naiv thinking that people would be smart enough to wait a little longer Wink
Even if expected it upsets me a little to see it so early.

I am selling my NEM stake for BTC5.

This equates to 0.00000375 BTC per NEM. This is 21 times smaller than the current NXT price.

PM me if you're interested.

I will raise you 1 BTC.  I'm offering 6 BTC for a stake.
i can sell it for 6 btc

Hey how about you sell your stakes somewhere else ? (Who would be dumb enough to buy stakes that haven't been distributed anyway ?)
This thread is about progress for NEM and not making a quick buck mkay ?

I have to say I like the DGEX platform, and think their involvement helped NXT massively.

Says the puppet account.

I know Graviton/dgex isn't popular, but I've never had a single issue with his exchange. And they were the only game in town for some time.

The whole Graviton censorship/forum BS, I can't speak to that because I don't use the other forums. Maybe he's a vindictive prick, maybe he's being treated unfairly.

dgex itself? Looks like ass, but it works.

I think with the money what makes graviton with the sale of the shares will have a major thing to dgex change in the next weeks for the better.
I think there NEM would make a step forward, Graviton has the experience and the confidence

Notice @ all, look @ the sockpuppets they cheat NEM!!!

I think Graviton is doing the shares to help later on when DGEX implements the USD/Euro <-> NXT exchange that he stated he is planning to do in a few weeks. Along with improving the website, servers, etc.

I tell you one thing, I'm not a friend of graviton but he's a good businessman!
Since so much will soon pass the dgex can become a leading publicly.
As soon as more than just Next Coins will be to act and a Fiat exchange! ( Euro, Dollar, SEPA) this is nice!!! and a big step forward!
Graviton has managed (or rather "Dirk") to develop a good client offspring.
People do not be so negative dgex there for a few weeks and please have a look on the development!

If DGEX will make it possible to by NXT directly with FIAT then that will give both NXT and DGEX a massive boost. In that case it could be an easy way to get FIAT <-> NEM going if Graviton where to support it.

I sent 40 nxt and posted relevant information in page 42 of the first thread (link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422129.msg4686582#msg4686582)

but when i looked at the stakeholder list i saw that my name didn't have a Y behind it.

link to blockchain explorer: http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=2000&tra=3909252813797837342

what should i do to confirm that it is my account?

when will this be addressed? thanks.

@Utopian: The TX seems legit so please give him a "Y". The timstamps however do not correlate so he should be check for duplicate hash during auditing of thread 2.

Why do the time stamps not correlate? I'm in GMT + 1 and forum time is in GMT, so I actually posted 20 mins after the transaction, no?

Anyway, I can also upload a screen shot if that would be of any help.

Thanks.

It's not necessary. We have to check for a duplicate hash anyway for every user so the timestamp thing was just proforma. You'll be fine and if someone took your hash then it's time for a screenshot Smiley. Thanks.

For give me for not reading every page here, but it seems my name disappeared from the NEM official shareholder list at together.

Please tell me how I can help to speed up this process, because I sent my first pm addressing this issue precisely one month ago.

I don't know why you didn't get a Y in the first place so I'd like to leave this for Utopian.
@Utopian could you please take a look ?
