2461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: August 16, 2021, 02:06:05 PM
We have seen many cases where people become gambling addict and why so? Because they put themselves in conditions where they went mile extra in gambling and place bets in excess or say your budget was of $100 monthly but suddenly you can't resist yourself and put $200 or more it will be called excess gambling if you can't afford it.So it's better not to indulge in any such excessive gambling and becoming addicted to it as consequences are really bad which you can learn from stories of gambling addicts.

Not enjoying other events, but I'm enjoying gamble in other place because of some reasons including a target to boost my rank so I spend most of my gambling budget there.
Gambling on different casino sites and maintaining your rank on all of them like a boss Grin Good thing that you allocate your funds in a budgeted way and play accordingly. But don't lose hope if you have not got any slot win as you will surely get it back and keep enjoying your gambling journey mate..
2463  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 16, 2021, 01:29:19 PM
Yes, some of those who shared their winnings are a promoter/influencer, but not all. I don't think people are so stupid that they cannot know it (someone gets a big win) won't affect their play session.
And we know most of the sponsored streamers as well and demotivational thing from someone's one is not a good thing so we must enjoy our own gameplay and maybe we also get lucky one day.
2464  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin losing its purpose? on: August 15, 2021, 03:02:18 PM
Bitcoin.com has always been controversial due to its ownership by Roger Ver and past history of questionable activity. There was a past legal case where people who tried to buy bitcoin on that site were sold bitcoin cash instead. Notions of bitcoin "usurping banks" are political in origin. As if people desiring basic protections from inflation and economic mismanagement through bitcoin, is somehow a direct attack on the banking industry. I'm not a fan of that messaging.
I also avoid reading articles over bitcoin.com because they provide btc hatered news like hacks ans scams usually to defame the image of bitcoin and try the normal tricks to make bitcoin cash famous and earn more profits. So simply read on some other sites and avoid visiting bitcoin.com.

2465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always gamble with sense on: August 15, 2021, 02:53:28 PM

I think it's quite normal for a gambler to lose money in sports betting. There could be many reasons.
Gambler not knowing about sports
Gambler not knowing about the tournament
Gambler not knowing about the location
Gambler not knowing about the weather condition
and most importantly, Gambler having a really bad luck

There are still many factors and any one of those could result in the gambler losing the bet.
So I think it's not that big of a deal id the gambler is losing the bets. He should rather switch his focus on to some other sport.
You must have knowledge about the teams you are betting upon on any sportsbook casino as that way you can determine or predict end results more efficiently.Suppose you don't know about the players background and playing style you will not be able to judge the outcomes of the match and you will loose surely. The weather conditions can change sometimes and you can't have detailed information for the same. But yes luck plays a vital role in gambling if you are lucky the odds will be on your side otherwise all factors will end up to your loss.

<snip>
With huge twitter followers of 54.1k at this time the codes will eventually be redeemed fast as expected them to be because people are actively looking for such redeemable codes and before you can imagine they are gone. You just get notifications or bot setup for such things.
I agree, when it comes to trying to get any redeemable codes on twitter, it is really hard to compete with many bots that mostly able to redeem the codes. I wonder how casinos like duelbits tries to limit or take those bots down. It's not easy, I know. But it's really good if they can take them down, just to be fair with other people.
They will obviously. We just don't know how they will handle it. On duelbits TOS it's already stated they can ask anytime KYC to all user they want if they feel something suspicious thing from any accounts.

No one would like more requirement or something to do to claim few bucks only, let them do whatever they want with their money.
Yes they can ask for some details if they found any violations of policies or something suspicious under AML guidelines to evade any illegal fund transfer. But if we are able to get those $100 easily then don't hope so and enjoy with your own bets and maybe you also get some high profits one day.
2467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentine President sees no reason to oppose Bitcoin adoption on: August 15, 2021, 02:23:45 PM
Argentina has been grappling with inflation for years. The head of state believes that the use of bitcoin can neutralize the effects of inflation. On the other hand, he also expressed his concerns about this issue.
"It’s a global debate, and I must confess that it’s a topic [that should be approached with] caution. In my case, there is caution because of how unfamiliar it is and because it’s hard to understand how this fortune materializes."
Why would third level country where all major problems like poor education system, corruption, crimes and most importantly high rate of inflation are present would worsen their economy with putting a ban on bitcoin that could benefit their economy as whole which they miserably had failed to do so? The CDBC will help them out of such conditions? The answer is simple no and that is why they don't seems to have any reason for such things and want to adopt them.Alberto is open to adoption but his government and central banks are not seems to agree with him and he alone can't take any decision so this news might not come true soon.
2468  Economy / Economics / Re: "Crypto is no longer in the early adoption stage" on: August 14, 2021, 02:33:13 PM
There are still lot of pending users that are aware about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but are not making use of them in any way like making payments with LN or storing them as an assest so we can say the adoption phase has begun and cross some level but for becoming mainstream it needs to be used as fiat payment and for that countries regulations needs to be done instead of putting a ban on them. The government like El Salvador have made great decision inspite of World bank criticism as they would oppose it certainly but soon they will also change their mind. The world is going to witness new adoption phase soon and you will see many more such statements.
2469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors can affect the value of Bitcoin? on: August 14, 2021, 02:19:37 PM
What happens when the Bitcoin source runs out and there is nothing to mine? Why do the machines leave their capacity to sustain the mining? Currently, the reward for miners is the transaction cost, and in the future this will be the overall benefit of the miners. But does this account have enough for the miners to cover the cost of the tools and their main income?
The network will still be safe because the miners will continue to validate the transactions and earn corresponding fees for the same after all Bitcoins have been mined and you don't need to worry about it.The current rate of adoption suggest long term bull market and prices reaching high prices. This will be enough for miners to incentivise them.Suppose you are miner and btc prices are $500k in 2140 and you are earning monthly btc so would you miss it? Same is going to happen then and bitcoin will remain same and security will not be compromised at all.
2470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 14, 2021, 02:05:58 PM
These are some new hypes in the market and exploring them is also good way and to gamble upon them as there is risk element present so probably call it gambling rather than investment as they both differs in many aspects. You are giving your time in hope of getting high ROI over time and bets are placed on them in new ways. There are many gaming platforms coming up with these NFT's gameplay but try to find best out of them with DYOR that have legitimate background to support you in any case.
2471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: August 14, 2021, 01:51:05 PM
I've just checked Duelbits' Twitter post and there might be another dropping of code. What do you think?  Tongue
https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1426149746683568129

Usually a drop code like this is only worth cent with a claim amount of hundreds or even thousands, and it will be redeemed very quickly in a matter of minutes and it will run out immediately, casinos use this method to stay in touch with their followers.
With huge twitter followers of 54.1k at this time the codes will eventually be redeemed fast as expected them to be because people are actively looking for such redeemable codes and before you can imagine they are gone. You just get notifications or bot setup for such things.
2472  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s consensus? on: August 13, 2021, 01:40:24 PM
It is unreasonable but it is effective and for how long it has been in our civilization, I think that we will have a hard time uprooting this system because it's coupled already with the global economy and global supply chain and what happens when we take away a keystone to those things, it will eventually collapse, it's a parasite that we can't remove.
Not exactly effective. Most of our world chases money, and neglects more important factors. I like the saying that we work to live, and not live to work. However, the reality is most people live to get money, and then they don't even enjoy it when they get it, because by the time they've amounted any sort of substantial earnings, they are on their death bed.

The system is designed to keep the poor, well poor, and contributing to the wealthy companies that pretty much rule the world. So, no the current money system makes no sense, yet people contribute to its survival every day.

Unless by effective you mean keeping those that control things rich, then yeah its pretty effective at that. However, what is clear is there are far more people unhappy with the current implementation of our concept of money, than there is supporters of it.
Exactly the current system is survival run in which only who have funds can survive and the most of worker class or employees are working hard to fill the pockets of some businessman who are giving them small share of their earnings only and becoming rich from it.The government prints new notes in any case of deficit and devaluing the fiat currency and cannot counter the inflation. The tax payers are mostly the normal people and rich ones are getting subsidy if they give it to any charity which is also being run by them. The current monetary system all over the globe is fucked up and the reserves are not actually backed up by anything. The people follows their normal routine of waking up and doing the same work to earn bread and butter for their family and in turn getting nothing much.In the current time savings have become an issue because you cannot save much as minimum wages have not grown substantially with inflation and still they think people can survive all that things? But with introduction of bitcoin the financial revolution is basing up the people's mind to get free from all those problems and setup a life for themselves also.

I have also purchased some items with bitcoin payments in the past and I know how exciting it could be to pay with your favourite coins but when they are cheap and not adopted by all.But now many accepts btc payment like nasty store who delivers various products for our community but the prices are way too high that i have decided to save them for the time being and use fiat for buying stuffs which is helping me this time. But it is good that you made your first btc purchase and happy with it.The t-shirt will suit you indeed Cheesy

Latest news and reminders from twitter:
1. $300 Art Competition: https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1423980628500942857
2. $100 Duelbits Giveaway: https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1425461703614078977
3. Share your big wins and get some coins: https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1423664821199908867
I didn't aware of Duelbits promotion outside of this forum, thanks for the information.
I'm interested with the Art competition, it's only for Digital drawing? Because I saw Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator icon on the picture (also there's 1 user create hand drawn art)
I think this competition is only for drawing using Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator maybe that's the most important requirement in this art contest, I think there will be a lot of interest in this because as far as I know Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator I see there are only 25 retweets currently in contest, so I think you can still join this contest.

I'm still a little trying and learning Photoshop it seems this will be easier for us to do.
I also think that digital artworks will be preferred ij this competition but i don't see any limitations to hand drawn also because they have not mentioned anything about the same procedure.Last time the ace vip lounge competition was organised on forum every artwork was accepted. It is good that you are learning PS and AI and you can learn it with practice and try to participate in this one also not for winning but to gain experience as it will help you a lot.
2475  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 13, 2021, 12:21:45 PM
You see @roycilik even though he has burned a lot of money in betting but it looks cute when he gets a big multiplier from a small bet, so I'm still sure about this victory, he will definitely get it one day, well indeed in the sense that the bigger the bet, the bigger the chance. , but don't mind for me as a small gambler can get big odds too.
Having a good gambler like @roycilik between us and sharing his experiences with all of us as forum member is good thing and he is one of those lucky players who has gained some nice profits out there but still we don't know how much he has burnt to reach that level and we as gambler appreciate that.
2476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and cryptocurrency monthly return (%) from Cryptorank.io on: August 12, 2021, 02:56:08 PM
I have known one of my friends who was holding some dogecoins from the past earned in some manner not because he was fan of it but when prices skyrocket he cash out his profits because he was already up 50-60x from his initial doge holding but those who invested just in the hype and bought at the top might be feeling guilty as profits did not come in their buckets and most probably they will not gain any such profits. The altcoin season aslo follow btc rally so why not invest in top most and secured coin bitcoin only rather than making false assumptions that altcoins are better in any way.The time and bitcoin will prove everybody wrong.
2477  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 12, 2021, 02:36:18 PM
You can see big wins on every casino, that's also something to keep people motivated so they also try to win a crazy multiplier.
In the case of Ayezee, he plays a couple of hours every day and plays with high stakes so his chances of winning a big multiplier are a lot of higher compared to the "small" players.
He streams a lot on youtube also and he has also shared his big win on Voodoo magic on YouTube also and you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/qg15uCL5TKo
But we can say that we also have chances of winning because he is Gambler like us despite the fact he is sponsored one and we place small bets but we can also win in same manner if we are lucky one day to share our such win.
2478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 12, 2021, 02:18:08 PM
We will soon see the start of the Paralympic Games.... ( 24 Aug 2021 to 5 Sept 2021 ) ...so I was thinking if it was ethical to bet on these events? Will it be disrespectful towards people with disabilities or will they want to be handled in the same manner that any other athlete wants to be handled?

I spoke to a few disabled people at work and they have no problem if their athletes get the same attention as any other athlete that competes in the Olympic Games.  Wink  They say it will be disrespectful if they are treated in any other way...

So what do you guys and gals think..... ?
It is completely ethical and we are not going to disrespect any participants by making bad remarks on anyone so i don't think so there is something bad to bet upon on Paralympics events which are going to start soon.We also need to take it as major sports event because they all take active part in all games and motivate all of us ignoring any disability and discrimination on any grounds. If we are giving them same or more respect then betting is very much fun for the same so have it positively man.

Of course all I enjoy this game because it is a pleasure for me to do it.
Playing in limits is good sign that you are aware about your gambling habits and don't want to create any further problematic situations for you.Doing it for fun in other way with small bets is also good and you can use them as stress buster.
2480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bit Civilization? on: August 12, 2021, 01:49:44 PM
Bitcoin has provided and opened new doors to completely decentralised world where there are no ruler's and all people live on their own trust network and work is carried in harmony and proper order of chain without any breaks in that chain. The current political system maybe acting as outside forces trying to supress this system and finding some flaws in bit civilization but they won't succeed in this attempt. The internet money which can be used to make money but also replaces money overtime is the best possible invention by Sathosi making us all bitcoiners in this world and can live freely.Yes the article you have mentioned is quite interesting with some nice explanations to prove your point and still a lot of new technical aspects are yet to come which can change the current monetary system and blockchain revolution in every key feild of Operations would emerge as bitcoin world.
