I create this guide because i have seen a lot of giveaways in the past selecting the users from random.org or wheelofnames.com, and that isn't a fair way to select a winner because the organizer could roll multiple times the site until he gets the result he wants.
I've seen lot's of streamers run giveaways doing the wheelofnames.com site. I think if it's done live then it is pretty fair. I know you're giving a tutorial of non live giveaways, but I thought it was worth mentioning that wheelofnames isn't automatically a scam. |

I don't think you both should have hurt feeling towards each others.
I don't think either of us have any ill feelings towards each other. This thread has been a healthy discussion with quite a few respectable members contributing to the conversation. I wouldn't look for a war to start just because someone had a different opinion then mine. It's called life, we all think differently. |

It's simply that I recently had a disagreement with someone I respect about what is burst posting and that person considers that I sometimes border on what would be burst posting because I write at wider intervals than that.
Well, now you have to tell us who that person is so that we can properly administer ridicule. I have sent a PM to him, and I assume he will come by to comment. I think it's the right thing to do, and I don't think he's made a fool of himself for his opinion on the matter. On the contrary, I believe that the divergence of opinion and this thread have led to a healthy discussion on the matter. I was in the middle of a television program when you pmed and wanted to finish before reading this thread. Ok so let's start from the beginning. A few days back I was grading the winz.io campaign of which Poker Player is a participant. I noticed that Poker Player had alot of posts in a short window of time(1-15 minutes. He sent me a pm where I had quoted 5 mins or less, but in reality 1-15 mins is a decent window). I decided to send him a pm Hey, burstposting is not allowed in the campaign but your quality is decent so i'll not make a big deal of it. Please be a little more cognizant of the timing of your posts in the future.
As you can see, I appreciate his quality and was not rude with the user. I also am trying out a couple new rules in the campaign and I think it's only fair to treat everyone the same unless we have spoken and come to a mutual agreement. In this case, no such agreement has been talked about. New rules below

Now, alot of you are probably thinking it's not a big deal his quality is decent. I agree which is why I sent a pm and was nice about it and asked him to be more aware. Should have been the end of it IMO. I was not expecting the pm I got next. Basically he said he would continue as is and if it's an issue I'll just have to kick him. I've been going back n forth on whether to kick him or keep him in. I didn't really care for the reply or at least the way it was sent, but I don't feel like he was trying to be a dick, that's just how he is. So for now I have let him stay. I sent a warning and if he continues I have to enforce the rules I set for every user. Now let's talk about why burstposting is a big deal. Let's say I open a sig campaign with 1 member in it. A burstposter is whom I selected and they make all their posts in 1 day. What happens to that users posts? Basically, after about 2 hours their 20-25 posts they made for the campaign will be buried on page 2,3,4 or whatever page. The advertisement in their signature space will be non existent and the company that paid me to hire that user will have wasted their money. In a perfect campaign I would love to see 3-5 posts per day spread out throughout the day. Maximum exposure. Everyone is in different timezones and this would have you seeing a company ad at all times throughout the week, but most people try to make their quota in 1-3 days for various reasons which I'm not here to discuss currently. Users in campaigns have been banned for this in the past. Posting simply for monetary gain and spamming the forum. He doesn't exactly fit in the spamming category but 100% in the burstposting category. I think the following reply sums it up the best In general forum rules, the content of the post should be prioritized over the time interval of each post. But since you are enrolled on the signature campaign which you agree to follow when you submit your application. The rules of your campaign will govern and this way of posting is not acceptable for them.
Regardless of how anyone feels, you do submit to follow the rules once you apply to a campaign and are accepted. He knows this and agrees, so this isn't an issue with Poker Player, just something I agree with in general.
I believe that the divergence of opinion and this thread have led to a healthy discussion on the matter.
Healthy discussion is never a bad thing. Never know how a person's view might change if you never start the conversation. |

Guy has been around long enough to know how a ban works, but decided he could make a new account and still participate on the forum. Not cool. Really depends on where, why, and who i'm on vacation with. If I am on a small weekend trip and alone or with my wife, then I would be looking for entertainment outside of what we had already planned for the day. If I have the kid with us, then no.
If i'm taking a trip to a popular gambling destination such as Las Vegas then of course part of the time would be spent gambling.

That would be a good move for the Warriors management after the incident. I mean the matter may have been contained for now but I doubt this would be forgotten. It may escalate at a later time so I don't think it's ideal to keep them together. Draymond may be a valuable asset to the team but he's the most replaceable out of the three core. A good move to avoid a possible altercation in the future but when it comes to their strength, trading Green doesn't benefit the team because they won't be having a reliable center anymore. Joe Lacob and Bob Myers also spoke about the altercation, they are just considering to give a Green a suspension and not a trade. The team's best defense is on their offense anyway so anyone who could protect the paint and hustle for the team is a good alternative. OgNasty already said Green doesn't have that same offensive threat so I think Capela is a decent replacement for Green. I don't expect it to happen before the new season starts. It could be on the next trade window. I cannot see the Warriors wanting to trade Green unless he gets pissed if they don't give him a max deal. While he is an asshole and a hothead, he also gets under players skin and throws off their game along with being a top tier defender. He's well worth keeping i'm just not sure he's worth max money. |

This might be the longest sentence I've read in my life on this forum. You mention the word influence but don't say who? why? how? I would say you are posting for sig campaign, but you're not in a campaign. Why call you out then? Unfortunately, there are no rules to this in the forum, but all the things do not need the rules. Somethings are to be done morally but again these people don't care.
they don't care because the account they use to participate in the scam campaign is not their main account. or their previous primary account which they later switched to another account due to negative tagging. those who realized had to withdraw their POA when warned by other members. but mostly I think they already know the condition of the casino. they intentionally sign up to join a fraudulent campaign, no matter the reputation of their account. for friends who are active on the gambling board, it might be better if they are willing to report shitposts on the board. Campaign participants made several posts on gambling boards. Some of the users joining 1xbit had gotten negative trust in the past I believe. Those users probably thought their accounts were trash at the time, but then here comes 1xbit allowing neg rep users. Now those neg repped accounts have a purpose. The fact that 1xbit allows neg accounts says alot about the site. If any of you notice people editing their posts later, make sure you are reporting their posts. You might also take screenshots of before and after for more proof. |
