There is no point in guessing, but it is clear that two teams (Ferrari and Mercedes) need improvements very badly.
I mean it's fun to speculate then see who is going to be right on the next GP. The next race would take some time. August 28 right? I can't wait. Especially Ferrari - at the beginning of the season it seemed that their time had come, then they would fight with Red Bull for the championship, and now it turns out that they are much closer to Mercedes (which fails the season) than to Red Bull. They really looked strong at the beginning of the season. It's now with the wrong strategists and possible miscommunications that had them failing now. I think Charles and Carlos is frustrated with that as well. Yeah it is half way thru the season and they are break for the rest of the summer that is left until end of August. Three week hiatus seems like a very long time to wait until the next race. But Red bull are going into comfortably infront of the rest of the pack. Ferrari as Leclerc has said have been making questionable calls when it comes to his car. Tyre changes cost him this race and everybody can see that. |

Amanda Nunes was injured pretty bad after the fight with Pena for the retaking of championship title.
In the post fight interview she had to be helped with crutches and you can see her eye was closed shut on one side.
So the five round fight did take her toll on the lioness.
Great matches overall and can not wait until the next UFC main event.
Should be a stellar one later on in the month.

Russell at pole was not in the script but then again, the hungarian track is up for grabs by anyone who really wants it.
I doubt anyone took him the pool prediction to be in pole position for Sunday's race.
He won't be able to hold the spot and I can see either Leclerc or Hamilton taking the race tomorrow.
Since Red Bull are in disarray with technical issues during qualifying and Verstappen had been vocal about this after what happened today.
Ferrari and Mercedes cars are just too strong to count either of their top drivers out of this one.
All this should make for a thrilling race!

Some good matches happened this Saturday to see what is to come next weekend.
Arsenal did an absolute decimation of Sevilla earlier on with a stunning 6-0 win with Jesus scoring three one being a penalty.
Next was Liverpool against the champion's of the league in the Community Shield match where Nunez shined with the last and final goal to seal it for the reds downing the blues.
If those matches didn't get your blood flowing for the EPL then I do not what will.

Don't know what these lottery leagues you have mentioned about before but I would imagine they are european lower tier ones trying to get promoted into the higher ones such as the SuperLiga, Prva HNL, Eredivisie or Nemzeti Bajnokság I. UFC 277 press conference happened last night and it was much more of the same from Nunes and Pena.
She wants her belt back and Pena saying she will take her out again so come and try.
I found the Derrick Lewis and Sergei interviews more interesting even if they had fewer words.
The hometown crowd loves him and would difficult to bet against him.
I have Lewis, Kai Kara France and Nunes as winners on the main card for this weekend's UFC 277.

Mercedes its having a really good race pace for several weeks ago, the main thing they cant already do its make the W13 be faster at one lap.
With this and a little more improvement in the race pace, Ferrari and Red Bull can be in a trouble. More Ferrari than RedBull because Red Bull have a really good gap in terms of points.
I can see them continuing on this run going into this race weekend. Had Leclerc but he is frustrated now from what has happened in France. Just his luck to have an equipment problem fall on him twice. How many races is that he did not finish for the season so far? Three from what I can recall. I would imagine that Red Bull will have issues in Hungary so I am going for the silver arrows to fly down that track for a victory. |
