2461  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Wil Bitcoin Mining be worth it after the halving to 12.5? on: June 20, 2016, 10:14:05 PM
It's always the same reply: You have to do the mathematical equation that will tell you if Bitcoin is worth mining for you in your situation. Not everyone has the same expenses for their electricity bill and not everyone has the same hashing power. There will always be people finding profit in mining Bitcoin.
2462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 19, 2016, 03:55:47 PM
I was expecting the performance of Cristiano Ronaldo being like that, I even expected portugal to lose against iceland... Cristiano Ronaldo while still playing good, has a hard time trying to score goals in the national team. I hope that they can still win the next match, but they will need to do something make Ronaldo score goals. Without the supports of Benzema and Bale it's way harder.

Well fuck, I was right again about Ronaldo's performance in team matches, but I trusted that he would finally score last night and I bet for a portugal win, lost money. Not much since it was a draw 0-0 tho.

Still a chance for Ronaldo to finally score... seems like next time has to be the time. It would be way too much bad luck for Ronaldo not score a single goal for the entire tournament.
2463  Economy / Gambling discussion / UFC 200 Heavyweight: Brock Lesnar vs Mark Hunt on: June 19, 2016, 03:50:29 PM
I have not seen a thread for this big fight. A lot of hype means a lot of money will be made that night. I think the odds will be against Brock Lesnar because his UFC record is too short, Mark Hunt is a world class kick boxer so Brock can be in danger. Brock claimed he had an illness that hindered his performance, so the money is in if you think Brock will show in top shape and use some wrestling on Mark Hunt.

Please post sites to bet on this fight with Bitcoin when you see them here.
2464  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 19, 2016, 03:44:36 PM
paper money is a payment konvensiplonal used by everyone in the world today. if it could be even greater bitcoin I believe paper money still will get a share. at least the future of paper money and bitcoin is 50%. both are still needed for economic survival in this world.
Bitcoins cannot surpass the demand of paper money and even if the future of paper money is not that attractive but we will always see them in the circulation as it was backed by the government and anything that the government made will last more than the non regulated ones.

That's true paper money has great support from the Government and it will continue in future too and Government will never allow any digital currency to be their primary currency.

Are you kidding me. There is an on going agenda to get rid of cash. In 10 years paper cash will not exist. Government hates it because they can't control it. They will release their own crypto dollars. Big names in the ECB already said they don't think cash will exist in 10 years time.
2465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL ATTACK ON ETH JUST OCCURED!!! on: June 19, 2016, 03:39:50 PM
The ONLY way that ETH can survive this clusterfuck is if Vitalik Buterin stops acting like a central banker and starts letting things fall. Dao fucked up? Let it fall and deal with the losses, stop trying to change things now.

Honestly, things are locking BAD in altcoin camp.
2466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex is randomly blocking IP adresses on: June 19, 2016, 03:38:12 PM
I Have never had a problem with Poloniex. I don't like that they started demanding real name and territory to even crypto->crypto traders but everyone uses fake country and fake names anyway and nothing happens.

OP just get a VPN. Maybe TOR can be used in Poloniex too??
2467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN THROW BACK [RETRO] Will History Repeat Itself? on: June 19, 2016, 03:03:38 PM
Historic evidence shows that Bitcoin goes up in phases, and once the bull phase is over, it corrects HIGHER than the last floor, this means that it's only going UP if you look at the big picture. Funny and quick way to illustrate this:

2468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any Idea about getting the paper wallet of the New Bitcoin Core Version? on: June 19, 2016, 02:52:07 PM
It's better that you do not generate a paper wallet from Bitcoin Core's private key. Simply, make a new paper wallet, and move the funds there.

Simply generate a new paper wallet, boot from a Linux Live CD to guarantee that the OS is not compromised, and have your internet OFF when generating it.

 I would use this:

2469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Average block size was 0.951 MB on: June 19, 2016, 02:43:35 PM
We have enough time. We will get Segregated Witness soon, then we will get a block size increase later on since we will have enough time with the segwit addition to make things slowly and solid instead of rushed and failing like ETH.
2470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night 89: Rory vs. Wonderboy. Share your predictions. on: June 18, 2016, 02:08:36 PM
Im not betting on any of those guys since I don't know well them enough. I will save money for UFC 200. Im still deciding if I should go conservative with a Jon Bones Jones win or bet on the possibility of Daniel Cormier winning.
2471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 18, 2016, 01:53:15 PM
I didn't bet on the Belgium vs Ireland match, I don't see it clear at all so I stay away from those matches, it can go both ways.

If I had to bet tho, I would probably go for Belgium, im watching the match while im on the computer and they seem like they are having lot of occasions. They should end up with at least 1 goal.
2472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 18, 2016, 01:39:57 PM
I think today Spain can settle a good trajectory in the championship by winning with a margin against Turkey, they cannot fall under the same traps as they did with the latest match, that would be dangerous. Scoring a couple of goals would be good for motivation.

Quoting myself to celebrate the victory. Thanks to Spain I made some money yesterday, also won thanks to Italy. Next is beting for Portugal and I hope Ronaldo can be on point and score some goals.
2473  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 18, 2016, 01:04:39 PM
In 20 years.. if everything goes well.. i guess 3-5 BTC

If the price of bitcoin is going to be $10,000.00 well 3-5 btc is enough I guess so. But for me I'm going to be wise.
I would say that I need hundreds of bitcoin or even thousand in able to retire for 20 years.

$10,000 is nto enough for 3-5 dollars.

With 20, it would be $200,000, this can make you retired depending on what country you live in. But in 20 years price will be way higher than $10. I would say we will be at around $100,000 and BTC will become a super-asset like BRK-A.
2474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: June 18, 2016, 12:58:53 PM
OP deleted his account it seems, probably because he is so rich now that he doesn't want to post on forums anymore and is enjoying his new found wealth.

Hopefully we can be like OP in a couple of years. HODL.

OP is Atlas. A notorious troll who got banned in the end for faking (?) a suicide attempt.
That sounds like quite the interesting story. What happened, exactly? Why would he suicide if he made a thread basically saying that he was rich? (I assume Atlas was an early investor/miner)

By now, he should be really, really rich..
2475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ToominCoin aka "Bitcoin_Classic" #R3KT on: June 18, 2016, 12:52:29 PM
Benevolent dictator Vitalik the Great is giving do overs.

The DAO is too big too fail, it is officially being renamed the one true "Sacred CAO".

Honestly, what is Vitalik thinking? He thinks he can go around telling exchanges to stop currency pairs from panic selling? This guy is a complete tool.
ETH is doomed now not because of some smart guy getting advantage of a smart contract (legally), but because now it's clear that ETH has a central banker named Vitalik Buterin.
2476  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: June 18, 2016, 12:50:35 PM
Never. Everyone in here will die before Bitcoin dies. Not even a big asteroid will kill Bitcoin, since by then, we will be terraforming other planets and humans will bring copies of the blockchain, making Bitcoin spread across the universe. It will become the de-facto currency of the Milky Way.

2478  Economy / Speculation / Re: EW learning/counting topic on: June 17, 2016, 11:30:38 AM
I think you have to look at the fundamentals too, otherwise technical analysis is pointless.

The fact that Vitalin Buterik is panicking about people panic selling and wants exchanges to stop all trading of ETH, is very worrisome, and to me this can only mean down regardless what TA says about it.
2479  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 17, 2016, 11:26:21 AM
Technology is replacing jobs constantly, more jobs are being automatized by technology than new ones are created, therefore in the long term the unemployment can only rise.

Send a private message to the staff and hope for the best. Do you use Windows? If yes, then you are in constant risk of malware. Have you downloaded something strange lately? (like software with cracks/keygens etc)
