2461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When your freedom is taken, bitcoin and crypto is the solution! on: February 15, 2022, 10:16:55 AM
Maybe if we talk about 9-5 jobs since yes bitcoin could really give us freedom knowing how different the money we can possibly get and we can work with convenience at home by using it in terms of investment or other form which you can earn by using bitcoin.

Also with banking system which bankers can exploit us and take advantage with our money, since in bitcoin we are the one who can control our money and we can use it anywhere without any government entities bothering us questioning on why we use such huge amount or ask about where those money came from.
2462  Economy / Economics / Re: India's 30% tax on income from digital asset on: February 13, 2022, 12:12:16 PM
This is too high, damn! They are really trying so hard to discourage people from getting involved in owning crypto assets with such ridiculous high-income tax, I guess it is up to the citizens to decide if they are willing to accept regardless of the high tax imposed by the government, whether big or small investors will feel the same impact of 30%, and the moment people are okay with this I don't see it changing, 10 - 15% would have been reasonable.

Well, if Indian People don't like it they wont pay 30% income tax because they will see that regulation is ridiculous. We should be grateful if we lived in a country that still didn't take any tax from crypto income and instead they make it legal for transactions and commodities. I bet many people are okay with that regulation because they didnt pay that tax

This is really ridiculous but atleast they see it been regulated and maybe there will be changes will come in future towards it, Maybe for now they should fight and propose to the government to lower down the tax rate so that they can use it without any worries that there is a huge burden to them by using this currency. Anyways we don't know what will happen but maybe we can see some consideration on this issues.
2463  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: February 13, 2022, 10:40:37 AM
1xbit has built up its reputation better, I've been participating in the campaign for a while now and I'm happy with it.

Let me ask you this, what does a signature campaign have to do with their reputation?
I'm not sure if you're just dumb, or if you're insensitive towards users who have been ripped off by this casino, but it's not smart to claim a casino is legit if you don't have any first-hand experience. As we all know, this casino has been accused of multiple scams, and until 1xbit starts dealing with these accusations, we can't talk about their reputation improving.

I stay away from this casino until I see some of the respected senior members of this forum who are able to confirm that it pays fairly.

Expected to see their participants defend what they are promoting because they are benefiting something in return to this casino so for sure they will act like what you said and close their eyes on the issues what happening here.

Also you cannot expect them to leave because they are still gaining and also I don't think they are really playing here since for sure they are only aftering the signature campaign payments and doesn't care about other people getting scam by them.

2465  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Inflation is a big problem for a country? on: February 12, 2022, 11:29:40 PM
Inflation isn't actually a problem, we just accept it to be a problem because wages growth doesn't coincide with inflation. Granted, it's unreasonable for wage growth to keep up with inflation if it's something like 5 percent; if the banks target inflation at 2 percent and actually manage to keep it there, there wouldn't be any talks about inflation because most people in a working economy can garner a 2 percent wage increase year over year.

Issue right now is most countries shut down their economies for COVID while increasing the money supply, so the economic growth was not able to keep up with disproportionate amount of money that was being spent. Wage growth might've gone up by 2-3 percent if you're lucky, but inflation could've been at 5 percent plus, meaning you have less purchasing power.
Well said. Inflation may not be a big issue on regular people if there are also seen increased in the wages on the minimum earners. Even if this fast rising inflation continue to increase, as well as the wages of the people too, there will still be high purchasing power just like before inflation has started. But as most of the countries have failed to control inflation, so we should just accept the fact that saving more this time and investing into crypto may protect us from inflation, as crypto has always been showing deflation.

Unfortunately the inflation is more faster to come than salary increase since government is so slow regarding on handling this issue but for us to avoid any of this things maybe its best for us not to let our money sleep in the bank since for sure we will badly hit by inflation since as you said the purchasing power will not be the same when we first deposit our money their so best we should put our funds on something that can generate us money since this could save us from inflation.
2466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is $Scott the new 1000x Shib? on: February 12, 2022, 01:33:06 PM
www.scotttoken.com

https://t.me/scotttoken

Edit: Unlike the shib, the total supply is very low.  Only 100,000 units.  That's why 1 scott is worth 1 bnb.  But the total market cap is also very low.  Even though 1000x is crazy, 100x is not a dream.

Well this token is unknown and it doesn't mean that the token has low supply it has a chance to pump up since mostly what happen on that type of tokens are just a pump and dump one. Mostly what happen after that is the dev abandon that token after they finish milking it and create new tokens, so if you are the investor better check the top coins which since they are more trusted than what you are posting up here.
2467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 12, 2022, 12:34:30 PM
Bob is indeed one of the good Promoters "in the eyes of the Fighters" but it is not for some people.
I quite agree to say that Bob protects his Dairy Cows because this is quite true and there have been several times he has done this.
It doesn't matter what I think Inoue should be one of his opponents because it's really not funny if it doesn't happen especially if he does win against Butller

For Bob, boxing is business, so he will make sure that his investment will give him a profit, and he will not put his fighter at risk of losing because it will lose the value of his boxer and he won't be making a lot of money from a boxer. Just for example, if Inoue fight Casimero and Inoue lost the fight, that is a big lose for Arum as Inoue being a pound for pound fighter will lose his belts and will not be a champion.

Indeed, he surely knows what to do to make money in this industry with minimal risk involved and won't likely pursue any fights that won't be any good for him especially if it's Inoue or one of his best cash cows, but for now Bob is ain't interested about Casimero yet. So, Casimero should really secure this fight against Butler if he really wants Inoue to fight him. In that way, he has more chance rather than just talking trash to provoke the other side.
this is quite reasonable because indeed he always puts his boxers in something safe and indeed when indeed if inoue plays with casimero then this will be a gamble that will determine the fate of bob and the boxers he makes cash cows.
I think he is being too careful but indeed this might be a pretty good move for him because indeed Casimero is not an opponent that Inoue can really fight even though Inoue is quite strong but Casimero is above him and indeed Bob certainly predicts this

It is kind of natural for the promoters to make sure that their best boxers aren't in the disadvantage side especially when the money deal is not that reasonable for them. Not just Bob Arum but others as well do this kind of things because business is business. For now, Casimero is the one who needs Inoue to him to of course benefit and be more known in the industry but as I said, Bob ain't interested and surely had other plans for Inoue.
In that same note, Casimero should make this fight against Butler in his favor if he is that passionate to make Inoue as a stepping stone for his career because if indeed Casimero will upset Butler then Bob Arum can't avoid anymore and make Inoue fight Casimero.

In side of Arum maybe he thinks that he cannot get anything huge if they let Inoue fight with Casimero and their fighter will be at huge risk if Casimero surprisingly defeat him and this one can lower the stack of their current favorite fighter. This is the reason why Casimero need to have impressive win against Butler so that Arum cannot resist to make this fight to happen since the fans calling about it will surely be much stronger.
2468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: February 12, 2022, 10:46:04 AM
If you look at the date of this thread, it is the last few days of January when the price is still in the $30k'ish. But now it seems that market rocketed as others have put it. So when he open this thread, I would say that it is the right time to buy.

But with the way the price is going up this days, better wait till it settles down because you might be swept with the current hype and not make good profits in the future.
well, maybe at the time he asked, it was the right time. because of that, many people say that when you are ready to buy or invest, it is the right time, because you don't know what the potential will be in the future. well, even right now, if the person is ready, it could be a great time. it could be that the bitcoin price is back at $50k a few weeks or months later, and the altcoin price has gone up too. So whenever you're ready will be a good time.

It all depends on what type of buyer you are ?

If you are a long term buyer then you can start buying in split on each lower rate, so that his buying rate will be averaged and fix the term of time you are thinking of holding it and target of selling price, so that when u achieve it you should be able to sell it.

If you are a short term or trader then when ever their is a correction in market, you can start buying as after correction surely market will go up and you can start taking profit.

Good point and people just need to know there intentions before putting on some actions since if we don't know on which of that things we are unto for sure we be disturb for every movements of the market since we don't put any target plan on our trading plans. If people could only define first before going to trade if they are for long term or short term for sure they can stick on the game plan they might set for theirselves.
2469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancakeswap behaviour at token launch on: February 11, 2022, 10:45:45 PM
Hello,

I made my first experience with metamask and pancakeswap some weeks ago buying a new listed token. Unfortunately I missed the presale, where I could have bought to more favourable conditions.

At the launch moment I had everything prepared: metamask was connected to pancakeswap, the custom token was already added by contract address, slippage was adjusted to an even higher amount than proposed by the community (=telegram group). When I clicked on "swap" a window with an error message appeared. Unfortunately I don't remember the error, nor did I take a screenshot. However, two minutes earlier I bought some cake token to ensure everthing working smoothly. This transaction worked fine.

I tried several times, but the error message stayed the same. Only after five to six minutes after token launch the transaction went through.
I assume the system was overloaded by the high number of swap requests, so it was kind of luck if youre transaction was proceeded within the first minutes.

My question: is this a realistic explanation for the behaviour of pancake swap? Or was it just the slipping being to low?

Best regards
Alex

If your slippage is so low expect to encounter error upon buying new token listed since for sure many supporters of that token waiting their chance to buy on its launch so to increase the chance to make your transaction success higher up your slippage to what pcs recommends so that your set order will push through.
2470  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why don't popular micro/freelancers sites adopt bitcoin? on: February 11, 2022, 01:31:54 PM
For sure they know bitcoin but provably they are avoiding any issue towards using it since we know there are government agency will question this acceptance since this is not regulated to them, also many of freelancers and clients are not accepting this currency yet so this bitcoin insertion is not surprising to see if this is not added to them because majority will pick USD towards anything especially volatile e currency.
2471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 11, 2022, 12:18:45 PM
For me it is also very difficult to reach the minimum requirements

10 invites are just easy. You can ask few friends to join through your links or gave around few dollars to crypto promoter to promote your links in exchange for giveaway. Another way is to simply invite random people from another server then hope that they will join through your links but honestly this is the worst way to get invites as most of them will be leaving the channel on a later date

I'd rather choose to invite my crypto friends to join on their discord channel than inviting random people everywhere since we cannot assure that our random invites will not spread toxicity on the channel so best to invite our friends since we might wake up their interest to join us on minting their NFT. Anyways good to see the slot almost filled up and I will notbe surprise if this one will be full in next couple of days knowing rollbit is a reputable casino.
Yes that's good option and According to me you can have that much invites easily if you are surfing around and have made some crypto links that 10 people will join the discord server for Rollbit to have the discussion and you can get spot in whitelist.

Yeah because more higher chance that our link shared to them will not be entertained by them and worst might they might doubt on us and might suspect us that we are scamming them so I guess spreading it to crypto groups where the right audience are there is much better options among this and inviting 10 people is not actually hard to achieve since for sure for thousands of people in groups most provably we can invite 10 or more people will click the link we share.
2472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs? on: February 11, 2022, 10:56:10 AM
I don't understand anything about usability either, I don't waste my time and money investing in it and I also don't waste my time and money buying this digital art, I mean something physical that at least I can touch, honestly I don't know how it's possible to have people who spend money on buying these NFT. there are people who are spending millions with this NFTs joke

Well for people who doesn't like arts they have impression like this but for the collectors which see the potential of arts that can be used or be collected by them they find it good to pour their money with so its not surprising that we see many people buying NFT since some of them are their to support the growing industry. I'm split between liking it and doesn't since I'm exploring things which can possibly give me a profit.
2473  Economy / Economics / Re: Times Change! on: February 10, 2022, 10:40:40 PM
Wikipedia truly messed up here as you mentioned, but majority of the world either had no idea about BTC or thought it was a scam back then which is why their viewpoint doesn't necessarily surprise me at all.

Very few believed in BTC and cryptocurrencies back then and those numbers rose over time as the market cap kept growing and this pattern will never change in my opinion.
There's no turning back and time couldnt really be going back and past is past and regrets would really be there which every people who would really be having the same thoughts
in mind on which if they had known earlier then they would do the same thing but since we dont know on what would happen in the future then these kind of impressions
wouldnt really be surprising even us ordinary people would really be having those common thoughts.

Normal thoughts for people to regret on the decision they made from the past since they actually counting the figures of profit they can possibly get if they didn't have any doubt on bitcoin, Although there's no turning back on all those things still we had something to hold on that there are more great things to happen so for sure those people who doubt about it will think about adopting while the market is still have potential to grow.

2475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs? on: February 10, 2022, 11:02:28 AM
My major problem with NFTs is how to market them on opensea. I find it difficult to understand how it is been done. I have some NFTs gotten from Airdrop. Am just accumulating them cos NFTs received today might be worth thousands of dollars tomorrow.
In an actual sense, bitcoin remains my best, second by Metaverse

Well marketing is one important factor to sell your NFT on opensea since if you don't have anything to introduce your project well provably buyers will skip what you sell and go to the project where people hype it up. I also have NFT's from airdrop but I don't expect anything on it since mostly the one we got from airdrop has no value.
2476  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam alert]Pre-sale Paypal token ads on facebook on: February 10, 2022, 09:59:37 AM
Obviously, it's not coming from Paypal if you have an account on Paypal you'll see the announcement if they are selling their token on their webpage, they will send it through their newsletter, on their official social media sites, they don't need to advertise, the big Cryptocurrency media will just pick up the news and their token will have a big marketing campaign, I hope investors will use common sense on this one.

That's right since if they really want to open a sale like this for sure they will not market their ads on facebook and their site will be enough plus the their current will possibly spread the word about it. This name copying or pretending to be paypal is obvious scam so I don't think there are investors will fall on this scam.

I also want to know about Merit earning.Becasue I will try to be a Jr member in this forum at first and to learn about crypto deeply.

Don't focus to rank up maybe try to learn first crypto deeply since once you read those information you need to grow up then for sure you can contribute well to the discussions happened here and can help people to their needs especially with newbie same like you.

Also try to find the threads created by many people here since there are so many answers provided so I think you can get an idea about how to earn that in legitimate ways.
2478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get money women to be involved in Crypto on: February 09, 2022, 01:50:03 PM
We actually don't need to have pageantry just to convince or drag women in crypto, but we can actually lure them by explaining them that they can earn money on crypto. For sure the possibilities to earn can wake up their interest on crypto and I have known so many girla are into crypto and mostly of them are taking this opportunity to gain extra income to feed their families.
2479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 09, 2022, 12:10:38 PM
^

I do not think that advertising activity can somehow be correlated with the legality of the gambling site. There are many gambling sites that have a controversial reputation and continue to arrange various bonus programs for users. In my opinion, it is better to pay attention to the reputation as it is quite difficult to earn and very easy to lose even in case of a few small cases of unfair play.
I think the same, while a heavy marketing campaign indicates a focus in that area from the casino it does not necessarily mean that is legitimate, as scammers could be bidding their time and act as honest people until they can get a whale to play on their casino and then scam them, so a heavy marketing strategy does not tell us if the people behind the casino will actually honor the bets you place at that casino.

I'm on you that heavy marketing is not part of a casino being good and worthy to play, we have seen that actually happening now one casino having massive marketing but at the same time having a lot of complaints from their players, players should always do their research, not all that glitters is gold always check independent reviews to see if the online casino is worth playing and what are the issues that confronts past and present.
You mean 1xbit?  Cheesy
Yeah it is true that the are quite generous when it comes to budget of their marketing which it is true that having good research would always be the key and solid marketing isnt a good indication or basis in regards to
your decisions whether you do trust it or not.

1xbit? Generous? They intend to spend more now on their marketing because almost all of the users here are now avoiding to play at their casino knowing how bad their reputation is and they are just trying to win back the trust of the people by placing that ads here so I guess its not really good since we still see people get an issue on that casino.
2480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kazakhstan proposes power price hikes and taxes targeting crypto miners on: February 09, 2022, 10:59:29 AM
So do you think they will drag all their consumers to horrible situation just to eliminate those miners? Since if you just give that thought's without proper evidence then maybe we will think about that you are just bluffing around. Maybe they have ongoing power crisis that's why they don't have a choice to implement that so for the case if miners well maybe there's no relation on such things.
